Hi Gromie's, well it's the end of another problem free week! Week 9 going into week 10 of veg! I don't usually veg for this long but I'm just trying to get the timing right for perpetual harvest. Plants in flowering tent were harvested & drying now for 5 days, so these girls will be transferred to the flowering tent in the next few days for the start of flowering, I've allready planted new seeds for the following grow, so just trying to get on top of the timing for everything related with perpetual growing. Thinking of setting up a 4x2 tent with a 4 inch extraction fan & filter for drying, so I can cut out around a week, that way as soon as I've harvested & cleaned the tent I can transfer plants from veg instead of having to dry in the flowering tent. Have developed really strong & thick structure's from the H.S.T & L.S.T training. Plants are nice & healthy. Performed 1 last defoliation before they go to flower as they get very bushy quickly.

Very happy with this first time topping and got some hefty sized tight boulder nugs just drying now smells strong and musky with a hint of green apple, tried a tested and I slept for 16 hours very heavy hitter I did have a hard days work before hand though, buds stayed nice and tight after drying grinds up beautifull cured for a week tastes STRONG definitely dominant in GDP I hadn’t smoked in a while had my test of this and slept for 14 hours solid 🥊

24/04 - Comenzó su cuarta semana en etapa de crecimiento. Se encuentra perfecta, tiene poda apical y LST en la parte baja. Las chalas se encuentran muy bien sin ningun problema. So the end of 3 and entering week 4 these girls are a little sad today as been working on finishing their little grow space which hopefully they'll settle into over the next few days. I have tried too upload images but no luck keeps saying resizing no matter where I upload from 🙄 The girls are taking off and I can see the difference in growth allthough they've been unsettled past few days 🌱 Still loving the aptus range and so am I its keeping these girls healthy even the topped girl hasnt really reacted too being topped 🌱👌 I will be doing some hst/lst with the other 2 this week as neglected them slightly as having the fastbuds testers all potted up into new shoes. Same thing as the other weeks in flower, just keeping them trimmed and happy! First time using Advanced Nutrients with hydroponics and the plants are loving it so I'm pretty happy about that 👍 Hydroguard is still doing its job too, roots are super healthy and clean!

started LST Sat, 11/4{ did my best my 1st time}.,Tues.11/7 ,Fed nutrients 4ml.sensi grow A-B, 2ml. Bud Candy, 2ml. Bud Ignitor, 4ml. Cal-Mag. Thurs. 11/9 did some defoliation and to me it looks o.k. but IDK this is my 1sr time growing dont know what to look for to trouble shoot. Wed..11/8 look like pistols started to show up on my girls, So it must be time to start the bloom nutrients, girls are 29 days old.

What a journey it has been from seed! I made a lot of mistakes in the first few weeks of this growing journey. I feel like I had a mini-crash after finishing the first year of grad school, and although I am growing cannabis as part of my research project, I haven't been the greatest at paying attention to it. This is not an excuse. It has actually been a learning opportunity. I realized that my body needs proper schedules to function and grow, just like a plant. The problems with the plant have really been my own problems. Let's just say that a plant may be the reflection of the grower. First, the light cycles were wrong and inconsistent. I thought that I could manually control the light schedule for the plants and be alright. However, I was wrong. My sleep schedule has been very inconsistent for the past few months. Mainly because we are living through a pandemic, and secondly because I am a graduate student 😂. How naive was it of me to think that a plant could follow my own rhythms? I guess it highlights my 'plant blindness.' Second, the light intensity was low and PH levels high. In the last five days, I have learned that plants are living organisms (I knew this, but my plant blindness is quick to dismiss it, I need to stop fighting these "plant voices" (signals)) that require a proper environment to grow, similar to humans. Of course, a plant is not human, but it is alive and living. It needs water, a regular schedule (light (active) /darkness (rest), oxygen, nutrients, and an overall good environment to grow. Concern about the size of my plant at five weeks, I decided to conduct a few experiments at home. Here are my notes: Friday, July 23, 2021, I took the plant out of the tent at 6:00 AM and placed it in front of my backyard window that faces the Eastside, perfect for sunrise. On that day, I had a few errands to run, and when I arrived home, it was 2:30 PM. The sun was now hitting the West side of my house, and I had to move the plant in front of my bedroom window. At around 7:00 PM, I went to look at the plant and noticed that its leaves were looking plumpy. So, I decided to take a timelapse to see what I would be able to record. During "magic hour" (sunset), I recorded and witnessed the plant moving with the rhythms of the sun. Plant, like humans, function at their best when they are synchronized with their circadian rhythm. The pandemic has definitely disoriented us to the point that it has disrupted all of our schedules. To this day, I feel tired from everything we have all been through; how could I possibly think that a plant would thrive with such a messed-up schedule? The time lapse made me realize that the plant needs some structure to thrive, and so do I. So, as much as I like to think that I can be disciplined and follow a plant's schedule, I cannot. So, I went to the store and bought the Globe Suite smart plug to automate and schedule the light cycle to 12hrs of light and 6 hours of darkness. Saturday, July 24, 2021, the plant woke up to the set schedule of the lights. I checked on the plant first thing in the morning, around 9:30 AM. The leaves look much greener and thicker than they did the day before. Sunday, July 25, 2021. I was away overnight and did not arrive home until 2 PM. The plant looks twice the size it was on Friday! Today, I will water the plant. I got a PH test kit and realized that the way that I measured the PH level, the first few weeks was wrong 🤦‍♀️🏽. I measured the PH correctly, to 5.9, and added some Reefertilizer grow nutrients to the water. I watered from the top, distributing the water evenly around the stem. My partner pointed to me that the lights seemed dim for the stage of the plant's life. So I had my lights set at 100 watts running at 20 % 😅. I realized that I had not increased the light intensity since the first few weeks of vegetation 🤦‍♀️🏽. So I increased the intensity to 100 watts running at 60%. Monday, July 26, 2021. First check-in 7:00 AM: The plant looks like it loves all of the new changes that I have made! It is finally growing 🤗 The sun is out, but it is not as intense as it should be because tiny particles of smoke are present in our air due to the wildfires, and they create a filter that makes the human eye see the sun blood red. It is quite apocalyptic. Regardless, I decided to take the plant out from the tent and record a time-lapse. It is fascinating how much movement plants have despite showing no noticeable signs of movement (to the human eye). Tuesday, July 27, 2021. It has been five days since I have made big changes to the plant's schedule and environment. The plant is finally showing good signs of growth, and its leaves colours have changed to a deep green. I am not watering the plant today, but I am spritzing it with water. I decided to take another time-lapse of the plant, but this time inside the tent. As I was setting up the tripod for my camera, I accidentally increased the humidifier 🤦‍♀️🏽. Luckily, I noticed within a reasonable timeframe and reduced the humidity and made the environment better. I increased the light intensity to 100 watts at 100%. The plant will stay in the tent all day today because it is raining ☔️.

Heute ist Tag 28 und den Pflanzen geht es prima. Die MAC#1 hat zur Mimosa etwas aufgeholt und die Tropicana Cookies geht voll aus dem Rohr. Sie scheint schon deutlich weiter in der Entwicklung zu sein und ich bin gespannt, ob sie groß oder schnell fertig wird. Vielleicht ja sogar beides 😅 -------------- An Tag 32 musste ich entlauben, da ich die Triebe nicht einmal mehr von Hand an den Blättern vorbei bekommen habe, ohne etwas zu beschädigen. Dieses mal habe ich mich dazu entschieden, einmal recht radikal zu entlauben, anstatt wie bisher jeden Tag ein bisschen. Ich möchte mir dadurch Zeit und Arbeit sparen und hoffe, dass sie das gut verkraften. Bei der Mimosa bin ich mir da nicht so sicher, da die unter ihrem Blätterpanzer ziemlich klein geblieben ist. Die Äste sind aber sehr dick, also wird sie vermutlich jetzt 2 Tage schmollen und dann nochmal loslegen, hoffe ich jedenfalls 😅

*LOS FERTILIZANTES SON HACIA LAS OTRAS PLANTAS NO TERMINADAS NO LA QUE SE CORTO ESA SOLO AGUA* *reemplazo bio bloom por monster bloom como los dos son PK la planta se sobrefertiliza* semana 10 y se va de corte la primera contento de terminar mi primer diario entero en esta plataforma cogollos llenos de resina muy contento con la producción en 68 días desde germinación *la planta en total creo un poco menos que el doble de lo que se corto pero fui sacándoselo de a poco antes* ahora solo queda esperar secar y las otras que vienen en camino 70.85 gramos en humedo contando tallos y una hoja de viento por rama espero marcar unos 15 en solo cogollos y ya secos LST en las dos ramas principales de una de las que viene siguiente muy compacta en lo personal me gustan los cogollos con casi nada de hoja (de esto dependerá cuanto raspe en la garganta) por lo que el humo entra sin dejar ninguna molestia muy suave y sativo

Lady BanaN starts "shinning" in the light with her precious trichomes, I have feeling that all that stress will coat the main cola with sugar :) Space Girl have that Jamiroquai vibes all the time, no worries at all, pretty forgiving plant (Royal Critical / 14% THC / Indica dominant hybrid) it was a freebie. I plant it only to have variety from Fat Bananas (22%THC/Indica dominant). I'm mainly looking for Rosin extraction so Trichome production is the most important for me. Don't care about the yield, this is why I filled the tent with biggest pots. Due to lack of place I can't stress these two plants just right before harvest (dark period etc). I was thinking about stressing whole tent with music. I have played Techno Rave already and they seems to like it... so... I don't think loud and aggressive music will stress them. Maybe sound of a city? Honking cars? Talking people? will stress her more? I'm gonna experiment. I just need to think of a way to make her thinking it's time to die and she needs to protect her self. I was thinking about temps and lights also, cuz she gonna coat her self with sugar if it's gonna be too hot/cold to protect/isolate herself from temperature changes. But how do I do that without fucking up? :) Anyway, plan for now is to let them create big buds and then I want to stress-the-f*ck-out-off-them. Maybe I'm gonna lie to them and I'm gonna switch lights? Rest of the plants show pistils coming out of calyx's. All of them. Non of them have any pollen sacks etc. So Lady BanaN turned into hermie at 34C (93,2F). From the other hand, they liked 32C temps. Today all of them get at least 1L of (cold) water. Some of them didn't care, one or two of them didn't like it at first but then they turns back to normal. #Space Girl = Same height = around 80cm #Lady BanaN = 98cm (3cm more then week ago 👍) 5th June @ 7am Fungus Gnats sleeping on my leaves, wtf is going on? Somebody answered my question saying it's a damp soil not "humid nights" that cause this but... humid nights makes the soil rly damp. I hope that makes more sense. I moved hydrometer under the canopy of a plant with shroomy. 👉[600W @ 27C @ 61%]👈 with open tent (full front door / little bit of east side) and left the lights on for 24/0. Baby plants no water today. Only big girls drinking now. Oh, I forget that I re-arrange the pots. So Critical and Banan are at the same place but the baby plants around switch their places. The tall one from North-West was moved to South-West etc. In North(back) of the tent is warmer + stronger light. South have colder temps and light is not so intense. You can see Critical have curly leafs but Fat Banana that is taller have not. Temp check before night 👉[600W @ 29C @ 45%]👈 7th June. Morning routine. 👉[400W @ 26C @ 56%]👈 8th June. Late morning. 👉[600W @ 29C @ 49%]👈 I was 100% sure I'm on 400W now but I checked the knob and it was set at 600W? So... somewhere between today and few days ago I had to set it to "Super Lumens" that are above 600W. 660 I think to be precise so no big deal but I guess that's why Royal Critical got her leaves curly a little bit. Getting chunky and frosty. Some very nice specimen in these. Lovely terps and I feel they are going to be a looker. Some colors are already poppin. And they still have a lot to go.

Completely guessing at her actual height at this point because I tied her down and am planning to let her complete her grow like this. I’ve gotten my canopy pretty even. Also top dressed with a little natures organic this week.

Day 49 update (Sunday 7/14/19): Almost time to chop! I think my humidity is finally going to be manageable for the drying- the second dehumidifier helped enough it seems. I cut out the base nutes (which for a few days were at quarter strength). I decided to stop with sugaree. No more cal/mag - I guess I should have cut that out weeks ago even in coco? So many different trains of thought. So I’ve now been flushing for a couple days using only water and canna boost and cannazyme along with mammoth p and hydroguard (ppm is at 200). I’m not PH correcting the reservoir tank and it’s up to 6.9/7.0 ph (I actually added a tiny bit of ph down before I decided to not worry about it) - I’m not sure if I like this strategy (seems to be an unsettled debate about ph correcting during final flush) I’ll switch to FloraKleen and water only (and still not ph corrected) for the last few days (in a few days or so - maybe a bit longer) THOUGHTS ANYONE?? I went to bed last night looking at pictures of bud rot and when I woke up I was convinced I had some. I actually chopped my first bud off the plants! one of my possible mold suspects (and one of the largest). Manhandled it - dug around - (I did use gloves and I did sorta try to be careful but...) I probably lost and damaged a bazillion trichomes - but.... it’s fine! No mold/bud rot at all. Beautiful actually. Some of the little fan leaves just turned prematurely yellow awhile ago and some extra areas of red hairs that concerned me but It’s great! Super stinky. Super nice. Dense. Pretty. I’m hanging that one nice big bud in the flower tent above the lights and in the corner away from a direct fan breeze (this is not at all ideal - the main harvest will be done in darkness; with no other humid plants in the tent; with proper air flow; lower temps; and they’ll have had a full flush unlike this nice cola I chopped with its “partial” flush only (see above) . It’ll be nice to experiment with taste before and after a flush since there seems to be so much debate about this. But I suppose my dry will differ too so not a very controlled test. This bud seems to be plenty mature and ripened - some amber trichomes - so I think this one bud chop may turn out to be a nice experiment caused by my neurosis about non existent bud rot) Woot.
