Week 6 Veg - January 16/21 to 22/21 *****
Week 7 will be their last week being able to take them out of the tent😟 SCROG netting going in on the weekend ahead. Not really a lot to report this week as the girls are doing well and I am just wanting their side branches to grow longer to help filling in the canopy anyway. Performed more LST this week and bending over the branches daily. Didn’t do any HST this week, will once the net is in and I have a better visual of how the branches need to bend.
They have come a long ways over the last 2 weeks when you look back at pictures. They have filled out with more side branching and other than battling a little purple striping on the main stems they seem pretty happy. Leaf colour is good and should be in good shape for the flip soon. Will go through all of week 8 before flipping so hopefully week 9 will be transition week and week 10 the start of flower.......have to get through next week first though😀👍
Switching over to tap water again. I have been struggling with calcium and magnesium deficiencies on all grows for the last year. I can’t seem to get the right amount added back to the RO water I use in all feedings. So running with straight water again now. Ppm coming out is 325 so I will work with that. Going to explore my own RO system in the house rather than bottled water, a system that adds back calcium, magnesium, and iron. It’s been flowing okay for the first week and will continue on for now. Using RO water I have been feeding full strength on the nutrients and have been working on backing them down a bit to compensate for the starting point of 325 now.
They have continued to be fed once a week roughly and supplemented with calmag and microbes.
Little more detail.......
Jan 16/21, Day 36 Veg
- 3L each of full line at full strength in RO water
- 1150ppm and 5.8pH given to the girls
- didn’t add any other nutes other than IPP line.
Jan 17/21, Day 37 Veg
- dry out day
- pulled down all the girls again tonight to train them outwards.

Jan 18/21, Day 38 Veg
- 3L for each girl today with tap water and CalMag @ 1ml, Microbes @ 2ml, Nature’s Candy @ 1.5ml
- 700ppm and 5.7pH is what that works out to.
- have to use a considerable amount of pH down to adjust the tap water, over 6ml in 16L
Jan 19/21, Day 39 Veg
- measured the girls today, GSCHB Is 12” tall. They were topped already😀
- dry out day for the girls.

Jan 20/21, Day 40 Veg
- 2.5L each with plain tap water
- 295ppm and 5.8pH.
- all the girls are looking big and bushy today.......they are ready for flip soon.
Jan 21/21, Day 41 Veg
- dry out day for the girls.
Jan 22/21, Day 42 Veg
- pulled all the girls down again......repeating the same LST each day manually rather than tying down for now.
- this should be water day but leaving for today as I am going to lolipop the lower branches and a heavier leaf stripping tomorrow.
- will feed tomorrow as they will benefit more.
Very solid week ETS......the girls are taking off and expect to see lots of leaves popping out over the next couple of weeks😀👍
Work on the side branching to come up higher closer to the tops next week.......continue tap water and give a feed with Epsom Salts new week

D28 - The first day in the fourth week of veg for Nordle #2 and the start of the third week for #1. I gave both girls around 2.5-liters of the compost tea I started brewing yesterday, and for once, I remembered to check the pH and adjust it to 6.5. Yay, progress!
D29 - Today, it was finally time to top the second girl. She was already seven nodes tall, around 30 cm.
First, I got everything together as I prefer to have what I need before starting instead of running around looking for something mid-process:
Snips, a couple of glasses with water to put cuttings in, bonsai wire and soil staples, clone-gel and a new razor blade, dwc cloner, peppermint oil and Q-tip.
After cleaning the snips thoroughly with alcohol, I topped her just above her fourth node. I'm going to mainline her, so I removed everything below the fourth as well. She went from a lush lady to a stick figure!
I secured her remaining two branches using staples and wire.
The final touch in the tent was to put some peppermint oil on a Q-tip.
Bugs and pests are attracted to the scent of injured plants. On the other hand, they hate the smell of peppermint oil, and it should deter the critters even though the girl smells like a buffet.
I bought this tiny DWC system for a few bucks off Amazon a while back and want to try it as a cloner. (The primary purpose of this cloning project is to practice taking clones, plus see how well this hydro system works.)
I trimmed each cutting before lightly scraping the stalk, making a fresh cut with the razor blade, and finally into a net-pot.
I had planned to put some clone-gel into the water, but it turned out that the bottle had gone bad since last time. Oh well, pure water for this test run then.
Finally, I cut up all the removed leaves and stalks into small pieces and distributed them on top of the soil in the pot. Have to keep that nutrition cycle going. Plus, like this, I don't have to worry about safely disposing those telltale leaves. Win-win in my book.
D34 - The final day in the fourth week of veg for Nordle #2 and the end of the third week for #1. #2 has recovered great after her first topping, and I'm planning on doing her second topping tomorrow, six days after the first. #1 is a week behind so I'm planning on topping her in a couple of days as I want to make sure that her fourth node is at the same height as the fourth node on the second girl.
The clones are looking really healthy but no roots yet but maybe that is to be expected considering that I'm using no rooting hormones.

Week two went good there was a bit of underwatering on my part, these ladies drink!
The breeder did warn me about that though.
Beside the underwatering things look good.
Next week they'll be transplanted to final 11L fabric pots.

D85/FD57 - As per last weeks update, no real change in the SCP. Pistils peaching up so ripening beginning. The Cull of the Cookies has brought down the humidity by 10-15% in the tent so hopefully that will lend itself to saving these girls from "The Cheese"!!! Couple of really decent colas in there so I would be heartbroken binning bud like I did with the cookies!!!
With the work last night culling the Cookies, I was lazy tonight, just did an add back (Didnt clean the ilma out like I do every week). Put in at normal ratio's but as the base water was EC0.7 (Rather than 0.2), the same recipe took me up to 1.5 (I should have adjusted but seeing as I dont know whats out, i'd rather give enough of whats needed and just dilute through the week (even if daily!!!). Expecting water consumption to drop now with the cookies halved in size and now just waiting on the ripening!

Grow is coming along well, though the Black Devil is still lagging behind IMO. I think the strain maybe isn't too impressed with being Main-Lined? Either way she's hungry so I gave her some bokashi, clover leaf trim and worm castings. Next week is main dry amendment feeding so the girls will get everything they need. Couple more weeks and the Northern light should make it's way around the entire pot, then if it's tall enough, I'm putting them into flower.

Day 29 and she is doing well im expecting her to start to fatten up in the next week. im thinking 2 more weeks at least till flush. also my defoliation is very light at this point

A little greenhouse update today!
Bin a while and the Runtz has grown insanely, i lolipopped her al the way up, supercropped/HST'ed her once every 2 days and still she is unstopable😁🙌
The soil is just spot on, i can see it on all my species of plants, they are really thriving, all the hard work of my dad and myself is paying off with lots of high quality veg and a little sidedish... FLOWERS, i love flowers, dense ones, rock hard covered in trichomes and bright orange pistils with insane oddours that want to make you clap your hands of but you cant cause your hands are glued together, those buds i ador.
Oh yeah about those😂.. the Runtz is slowly showing of some pistils, and the Pineapple Glue? She is getting fatter and fatter last weeks, i fed her some extra nutes, Plagron👍 alga Bloom and some BIO Enchancer from the mighty Greenhouse👌 both bio and work like a charm, first time i fed her extra nutes and the last i recon, she doesnt seem to need it but i wanted to boost her a little to increase bud density and mass😁👌

I am convinced that I've managed to avoid a nitrogen toxicity by monitoring the inputs and the runoff of individual pots. There is only 1 plant remaining whose runoff was 300 above inputs and was showing the curled, too-dark leaves . The plants look happy, yesterday I played some rocking Mozart for them and they loved it!
Today Oct 12 (Canadian Thanksgiving almost) is 2nd Day of Week 4 In Bloom and 87Days Old. I defoliated yesterday quite a bit; I've read that this is a no no as it takes energy to repair but I did it anyway, the plants reacted like they appreciated the haircut😶 I'll never know how it affected the buds. The buds are no longer hiding under the foliage as much👍 Took some of these pictures and video with only 1 light on - to try and show their "true" colour.

Run off: Temp 20, PH 6.3 EC 1.8, 1.9, 2.0 on all pots😊 First time using Enzymes; see if I notice anything. Smell has definitely increased in the last couple of days.😁
I am stoked on how these budlets have developed, the ladies are forming almost textbook style and right on time! (finally from providing proper nutrition and environment). Rails of goodness are starting. This has been the best indoor grow to date .

I whipped these girls into shape!
They got an amazing lolipoping~! its hard to sacrifice some of those branches but they look so much better for it and i hope it better allocates the plants resources!
Did a big defoliation that really changed the way they look!

The plants are comming along nicely. They got some horsetail extract in the past 2 weeks, nothing else. I will top dress with a handful guano the comming days.
The sativa pheno seems to be the furthest aong in terms of trichromes. We will see, when we start looking at the trichromes with a microscope soon.
Numbers 1 and 7, the indica phenos, are similar. Only number 1 is lagging behind 7-10 days.
All plants started to receede from their bigger lower fan leaves. I keep picking them of as they turn yellow.

They are small plants compared to HighCloudZ in these 1-gallon pots. They have established heights of 52cm and 67cm.
But the flower development is faster, as the higher percentage of indicas shows. They are already gaining weight and producing good resin, at just 50 days old.
Next week, a larger application of ferts, in this organic living soil. The union of two great worlds.
The smell is reminiscent of apple, very sour.

week 10 we put in a scrog net on the sleeping beauty and continued lst on the tropicana poison. I also FIM'ed them, again, trying to make them bush out like crazy to each fill a 4x4, 4x8 total

Was gibt es zur SevenFreeze zu sagen? Sie wächst absolut kräftig und stark mit offener Struktur. Die inneren Zweige habe ich etwas zusammengebunden, damit sie sich gegenseitig bei starken Böen, die bei Gewittern auftreten, gegenseitig stützen und die Pflanze nicht auseinanderbricht. Meine größte Pflanze bisher, kann absolut mit der Frisian Dew bisher mithalten.

Welcome to my Strawberry Cola Auto by Exotic Seeds
Both SCA are nearly on the same track. I uprooted 1 and decided to put them both into 1 8L pot. As the plants grow i'll LST them 1 to 1 corner and 1 at the other end. Before they progress too much into their veg, the 8L of soil in an 18L pot. Without disturbing the soil as much as possible. I have something i put down the sides of the pot and upturn them bringing out the whole base of the substrate sides without the sub falling away from the sides, then they'll be transferred directly into an 18L pot. Lifting the sides up, and hopefully this will hinder any excess stress that you don't want to put on any auto as it'll most likely stunt them and hinder their possibility of giving a substantial harvest.
Both seeds are on days 5-7. The 7 day old one was uprotted, so I expect a day or 2 stun, so they should be on or near the same growth rate. So far, I really like the way these autos are growing. I had fastbuds straw cola and tbh, I'm not a big fan of this flavour so, hopefully this strain will have something that charges my perspective.
Decided to give them a dose of artios touch for any stress.

Week 16 I added new tie-down and tried to fill the tent as much as possible. The Aroma is amazing coming from the tent with super sweet berry tones. Trichomes are all still clear and no stunt in growth has been detected.
I've gone back to a 90 degree rotation daily and a hybrid watering schedule with 1L from top and 1L subirrigated alternating days to keep nutrients in play hoping to prolong flushing the plant over the next 2-3 weeks instead of over a single week.
Pests have not re-emerged since the spray but nonetheless less ill be spraying again partway through the week.
The buds are mainly all golf ball sized now with the colas starting to fill out nicely. I cannot wait to try these mouth watering buds.
Day 6 As the week progressed we saw a filling of the branches, the internodal spacing was almost perfect for this plant which is nice considering all things. As seen on the video, the trichomes are mainly clear on a lot of the outer buds but the more centralized buds are appearing cloudy. Regardless going for a 85/15 cloudy/amber trichome ratio. So 3-4 weeks more possibly, observation will be crucial.

Week 14, day 99, the second week of flowering has started, and it shows on the plant.
It looks like Cookies Gelato #1 has started flowering before #2 and #2 started before #3.
Look at the photos from above, I cannot wait to see when flowers will be enormous and lots of them!!
Of course there is no weed smell yet but the plants have a wonderful smell of mint and lime.
I'm also still trying to LST the plants even if they are mature, just to get a bit more light.
Approximately two more months and I'll be ready to harvest, I think the yield will be terrific.
