Petit top dressing de Bio Bloom en complément, on centre les pots et on travaille le scrog. Encore une bonne semaine de stretch et on devrait avoir notre format final. I had to get the two veggies pots out of the room so I could spread the plants horizontally and get them to a good distance from the lights. :( We won’t have a broad diversity inside the tent but at least we will get a sea of green 4x4 feet big. Little top dressing of BioBloom, we get the pot centered and we work the scrog. A good week of stretch left and we should have our final format ready.

Hello. This is the end of week 6 and the beginning of week 7 of flowering. Things are growing great in here. Not too many yellowing leaves for 6 weeks of flowering so far. I got some pollenating done with 2 different Kosher Haze males. The males were a little taller than I was hoping for but both had a great smell and were very resinous to the touch. All the Kosher Haze males have been cut down and have been put in the compost. You can see the difference in the pollenated buds by the brown stigmas. In the wide angle shots you can see the white tags marking the lines holding the pollenated buds up. At harvest time I can let these marked branches grow a little longer if the seeds aren't mature yet. We shall see then. I still have 1 Lemnesia male left that I like and It will be put in the smaller greenhouse with a Pink Kush and a Nova OG to make seeds in a week or 2. The Pink Kush and the Nova OG are in their 3 week of flowering in the greenhouse now. Ok can't think of anything else. Have Fun. Chuck.

My good friend convinced me that trimming and training are paramount, so I've started with slowly defoliating the Creme de la Chems to try and get to lollipop status. They're just starting to flower, so I figured I could get away with a more aggressive approach. Because I failed to train these girls early, I'm stuck dealing with a little rain forest. What I've tried to do is trace each flower topped stalk up from the base, and trim away from the bottom up. 1/3 of the way up per day. I've now got a thick canopy, and I've been trying to just use leaf tucking and manual manipulation every few hours in order to keep the different height flowering sites in direct light. These ladies have really been thriving, and it's been such a joy to watch them grow! I like having two plants in one net pot letting them grow wild, but I think in my next grow I'll keep it to one per pot and train better from the start. As for the Super Orange Haze ... not as good. I attempted to pull the main branch over to train her to some empty space, but I was too aggressive and ended up popping her head off :(. First grow, first disaster. I took the head and stripped her/coated in clonex and pushed her into some potting soil just to see what would happen. There hasn't been enough foliage to really make me want to do any trimming, I've just tried to tie the stalks off to train them apart. I'm really sad about my mistake decapitation, but she seems to be doing well still. She's probably week 2 of flower based on others' journals. I changed the water midway through the week (which is when the videos were taken). I drained most of the water out, but roots prevented me from getting the last few gallons. When I refilled the res with RO, I measured the PPM at around 200. I have to assume that remaining nutrient was completely unbalanced leftovers, so feeding will have to just have to be experimental. My approach has been to give around 1:1 Gro vs Bloom and Micro every 2-3 days when I refill with RO. I want to build my PPM up to 1000, but slowly so that I can detect if I hit a ceiling first. It's hard to measure how much food is in the water based on PPM. CalMag is what drives it mostly, so I've been using CalMag as a sort of measuring stick. I keep the CalMag pegged to the Bloom food, but I know it's only good for initial dosing. I can't assume the plants are eating CalMag in the same proportion as anything else :(. If anyone has a line on cheap lab testing ... hit me up. I'd love to be able to test a few hundred samples at a time for NPK and trace so that I can tell (even if post facto) what was going on.

Day 22 Flower (Day 64) Today is the first day of week four of flower. I gave the right girl 3 liters of pH 6.2 water, but the left girl didn't need any. She doesn't drink much since the light is turned way down not to fry her canopy more than it already has. Unfortunately, her new tent didn't show up today — hopefully, tomorrow. I also put half of an avocado on top of the soil in each pot to feed my worms. It should be a nice little treat for my worm buddies. Most of my cover crop has died now when the girls are blocking out all the lights, and I really should cover the soil in mulch, but as I'm changing to larger pots next run, I would have to remove it again in about a month, so I haven't bothered. Day 23 Flower (Day 65) Yay! The new tent finally arrived today. It is still a tiny 40x40 cm tent as that is all I can fit inside the wardrobe, but the new tent is 40 cm taller. The plant really needed the extra height since she was pressing against the light and roasting the top buds. It was a bit tricky to get the left girl out of the old tent, but by combining some McGyverism with a bit of brute force, I got her out in mostly one piece. The damage from the light wasn't as bad as a feared, although three tops were fried and a few fan leaves. Not great, but it could have been worse. I took the opportunity when she was between tents and did some defoliation/lollipopping before moving her into her new space and giving her 1.5 liters of ph 6.7 water to help her deal with the shock of being manhandled. It is lovely to have some space again, and I was finally able to turn up the light to 100%. Now those buds can start to fatten up! All I did with the right girl today was to give her 3 liters of pH 6.5 water. Day 24 Flower (Day 66) The left girl loves her new home and looks to be bouncing back nicely. She didn't need any water today, but it was the first time a tiny weed smell came out of the tent as I opened it. The right girl in my main tent is further along in flower and technically should smell more than the small tent, but the CO2 bag still overpowers everything with its sh*t smell. lol I gave the right girl 3 liters of pH 6.4 water today, and I also "shaved her legs" by removing some pointless leaves and branches low down on her. Finally, I started brewing some compost tea with the same recipe as last week (worm castings, rock dust, biochar, lime, bentonite, neem meal, kelp meal, alfalfa meal, and molasses). Still, this time it will be filtered as it is too soon for additional topdressing. The tea will brew for 24 hours, and I'll feed it tomorrow. Day 25 Flower (Day 67) All I did today was to feed each girl 3 liters of pH 6.6 compost tea as well as rearranging the main tent (moved the CO2 bag so I could move the clip fan, attached the ratchet hangers to the lights differently, and did some LST to get a branch out of the way) so I could raise the lights another 5 cm. Day 26 Flower (Day 68) Today was a really easy day. I just gave the right girl 3 liters of pH 6.1 water. That was it. Day 27 Flower (Day 69) I gave each girl 3 liters of pH 6.6 water today. I also took out my proper camera and tried a few quick bud shots. Just as an experiment though - handheld, no tripod, just the grow lights so no proper lighting, etc. Would love some feedback on these photos though as I'm completely new to bud photography and am looking to improve. Day 28 Flower (Day 70) The last day of the fourth week of flower and all is well in the tents. The left girl is 97 cm tall (12 cm increase in a week), and the right girl is 120 cm tall (a 3 cm increase in a week). The left girl has been stretching this week since she got her new tent (which allowed me to turn up the light.) She certainly is loving those extra photons! On the other hand, the right girl seems done with stretching and is working on fattening up the buds. All I did today was to snap some pics and videos and give the right girl 3 liters of pH 6.2 water.

Method 🎚️ Medium: 🥥🥥 We ran this one in an even parts soil, compost, coco and purlite mix. The hope was to minimize required nute feedings and maintenance. The addition of nute nuetral coco proved to be somewhat of a mistake and may have contributed to some unnecessary plant stress when she used up all the available natural nutes in the soil and compost. There simply wasn’t enough good stuff in the medium to see her happily through the cycle without extra supplementation. I’d do this again but leave out the coco and layer the compost at the bottom with minimal medium saturation and runoff in early/mid veg. This should achieve better results the next time round. She was entirely untrained and allowed to stretch to her highest height. A better yield definitely would’ve been derived with some topping/mainlining and training but regardless, her freak flag flew high and She went unnoticed by unwanted eyes. We won’t be able to grow high next year due to construction next door so this may be the last time I run a skyscraper outdoor in the rear yard. 1/5 volume emojis for method because there really wasn’t any training. 2/5 coconut emojis- not for the lack of training but due to the unsupportive medium amendments like the coco. Yield🌴🌴🌴 And now the part we all seem to measure with great expectation. The expectation in this case was to pull 9-12oz off this girl and we fell well short of that. For the reasons mentioned above as well as the fact that she was putting at least some of her efforts into seed production too. We spotted it pretty early on in flower and some stalks started showing signs of ball formation that every grower fears. I was really concerned she’d be a full on hermie but this didn’t happen and it seems it was just localized pollination. Probably due to an occasional, randy bumblebee that had come from elsewhere. It’s not all bad at all and we did pull a few seeds off of her that we’ll give a shot to in the future I think👍. Final yield - 7.18oz. I’m never going to complain about a quarter pound off a plant that needed almost no maintenance whatsoever👍. 3 palm tree emojis for not going full hermie and putting out enough of this magically intense bud to share with friends and family👍 Props As always, big shout-out thank you to GD for making this site accessible to us. ladies have started to take off much more this week. I added heavy 16 finish to schedule of nutes. may be adding fire and roots also over next weeks. no huge issues this week, felt pretty dialed in for most part. using grow room glasses ive found i can get decent video of the girls under lights vs having to take them oit find ok lighting and taking a pic. noticed smell coming off the plants this week, its weak right now, but definitely starting to stink! going to top at the 3rd node once they reach 8 inches tall. after day 28, I transferred into 3 gallon fabric pots, which will be their final homes til harvest! (bottom leafs on plant #1 got some spotting, one side was windburn from earlier in grow, the other side I got a few drops of nutrient mixed water on them, and even after wiping away it left spots on leaves, its all good they are going to be removed after topping)
