Segunda semana desde el cambio de horario a 12/12h, la planta ha continuado estirándose, esta semana otros 10cm, pero no hay problema, porque ninguna planta va a pasar de los 70cm de altura que era mi objetivo inicial. La planta está con el metabolismo disparado, consume mucha agua de riego y los brotes florales comienzan a tomar protagonismo, las fuertes ramas están preparadas para soportar cogollos monstruosos, yo también! Por en cuanto estoy esperando pacientemente que todos los cultivos paren el estiramiento, creo que será en estos días, para hacer un importante cambio de luces y comenzar con mi arsenal de Bio Fertilizantes específicos para floración. Yo cultivo con luces intensas con temperaturas de color apropiadas en cada etapa, para provocar mayor fotosíntesis y favorecer al tiempo la compactación de la planta en crecimiento vegetativo y para producir cogollos muy grandes y densos en floración, a la vez, la mayor captación de energía provoca mayor consumo de agua y nutrientes, y si el sustrato y las raíces han llegado a floración preparadas, el sistema lo completo con control de temperatura/humedad y máxima aireación en la carpa de cultivo, lo cierto es que esta parte no me da problemas, pues mantengo la carpa muy aireada y fresca sin sobrepasar los 26°C en los ápices, la humedad en mi casa no es problema. Yo no le tengo miedo a la intensidad de luz y sólo soy precavido con la temperatura/humedad por la circunstancia de cultivar en interior y macetas, porque he vivido en diferentes lugares sub tropicales, he visto también cultivos de marihuana en África y he comprobado la intensidad de la luz solar, las luces artificiales son un mero juego comparadas con el sol, y el calor de esas zonas y como se desarrolla el cannabis espectacularmente! Esta temporada todas las plantas se muestran muy saludables y vigorosas, esta vez conseguí alejar mi impaciencia con relación a la cantidad de riego, los experimentos radicales y las altas concentraciones de Bio Nutrientes en la etapa de crecimiento vegetativo, y se nota. A partir de ahora las mezclas de riego cambian mucho, la planta en floración necesita más variedad de nutrientes y minerales que en la etapa de crecimiento vegetativo, donde necesita más cantidad pero de menos variedad de nutrientes y minerales. Con el último riego hice un aporte de una mezcla de enmiendas secas al sustrato, en ese mismo riego incluí melaza para dar energía extra a los Microorganismos y que comiencen a comer este aporte extra de materia orgánica, nutrientes y minerales. Esta temporada estoy limitando el uso de melaza en riegos, hasta ahora la usaba en todos y en cada uno de los riegos, desde el inicio hasta el final de los cultivos. pero esta temporada he usado la melaza sólo en las primeras semanas de cultivo para potenciar la proliferación de la Microbiología en el sustrato y la expansión de las raíces, y desde hace dos semanas dejé de añadir melaza cuando las plantas han tenido un volumen importante, ahora, del aporte de azúcares para dar energía a los MM se encargará la propia planta, no es que haya observado anomalías evidentes por el uso continuado de la melaza, pero no quiero influir en el sabor ni en los aromas originales de las plantas. This strain was a pleasure to grow! It was a strong, the most spectacular plant from the group. Always stepping up. The pheno was very resillient, growth was very fast and first pistils showed up after two weeks. Little neglected her when the stretch phase started - didn’t tie her down enough so she got a bit leggy (78cm tall) so there wasn’t really even canopy. And halfway through the flowering Magnesium deficiency or a lockout occured and never found a good solution to fix that. What Ive read Kushes need very large amounts of Ca&Mg during the flowering, and might be that 3:1 ratio of Ca:Mg had a synergism and decreased availability due the excess of other. Still managed to get some massive main colas. And can’t say enough how pleased I’m the colors! This plant growth was simply art.

This strain was a lot of fun to grow, Training was easy, it responded well and rolled with the punches, She was CalMag hungry as that as my only noted deficiency. She was chopped at day 69, would have been 70 but I had mothers day plans with the Ol' lady. The wet weight is everything but the bigger fan leaves (larf galore) I had so much trim. I love the smell I loved growing it, but I do not like how airy the buds turned out, I use quality LEDs and have a white widow in another journal that grew along side it under the same conditions, even the same trainings to the point where there structured extremely similarly, and the White Widow is ROCK SOLID. BUT with that being said, the trichome production was very nice, the sugar leaves will leave me with a lot of hash (half the buds were considered larf but were so sticky and covered in trichomes) and the smell is very sweet, berries and a hint of lemonaid and must. Keep in mind this is a taste after just a couple days of drying a sample bud and no cure. Overall its definitely smokable ill probably give some out but I would rather keep the airy stuff for me to smoke/process because I love it all. I am currently taking the week as a T-break so I can give everyone here a proper smoke report, including myself. Dry bud weight is only 51g BUT all the trim did get me a couple of grams, probably 3 of some incredible hash, The Hash taste like blueberry pie and a glass of lemonaid, the flower is similar but with a bit of a musky punch, the high hit me straight in the head and had me laughing at myself for getting so stoned, literally all i wanted was that pie and lemonaid that's all that I had on my mind. after a bit it mellowed out into a nice relaxing sativa feel, I wasn't nearly as full of energy but I was by no means tired either.

The statistics on Frostbanger indicate 50-day flower. Pics show mostly clear and milky. There are a few with amber trichs and many orange pistils indicating maturation. At least 3 more weeks for maturity on these gals. I continue manual control of the environment and using 3 circulating fans and the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. They are living up to the new strain’s name. #5 is the frostiest followed by #2. Wow week 3 of flower and that much frost already. Before FastBuds announced the strain name and characteristics, I was disappointed that FBA2502 could be an indica sleepy strain but the universe provides what you need at the time. After 65 days of flowering, the Mimosa was removed and dried. I was quite satisfied with this plant. it was easy to grow and didn't need much maintenance.. the smell is exactly like mandarin as described by Barneys Farm. buds are quite heavy, very hard and compact. The harvest was weighed after hanging the plant in the tent for seven days. (54.9g) trimmed weight, Now it's drying in glass jars ✌️🏻😎

Well the pictures speak for themselves, roots must be well established now. Pretty much doubled in size and great structure. The smells are pronounced, should no carbon filtration be used surely the entire house would smell. Only means good things, looking fwd to see what this girl will bring to the table.

Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 There has been a couple changes this week!! First there was a big defoliation done, I cleaned the bottom of the plant. All the growth that wouldn't amount to anything because the light doesn't penetrate that low. Also took off the biggest fan leaves to give more light penetration. Then finally switched to 12/12.. Just 36 hours after the defoliation she looked fuller than before. Leaves pointing up and out. By how she's doing I'm sure she'll stretch a good bit these next few weeks. Great reaction to the defoliation. I'm still watering every other day, After the defoliation I watered with only Enzymes 2ml/L to clean the roots a bit then started with the nutrientes again. I dropped the amount of grow nutrients from 3ml/L to 1ml/L and started adding bloom nutrientes 2ml/L for now. I'll slowly be upping the bloom nutrientes and after week 2 I'll no longer add grow nutrients. That's it for this week. Stay tuned to see how she flowers. Stay safe!

These are steady cruising towards the finish line. Really pretty bud structure and trichome coverage. The smell is straight pineapple hard candy. No piney-ness, no skunk funk, not even a hint of citrus. Just straight tropical fruits and sugar and a tad bit of earthiness at the end. They have been on plain water for the past week. A majority of trichomes are cloudy with about 20% still clear. Another week I’m thinking.

Week 15 going good…not bad …switching to bloom nutrient… and did a ton of defoliating to loosen up the canopy hopefully they won’t grow too much when I flip them to 1212 in a week I’ve seen these plants three times the size. Hopefully I can stunt that growth during the initial stretch by switching to Bloom nutrients early. Defoliating a week before flipping. I may decide to top them more but I probably won Do I have to type here for it to be green this is crazy. I’ve done more than a paragraph now at this point it’s kind of weird that it’s not green be green what the hell can it still not be green

I am living in South Africa, Cape Town, we are heading into summer now so it is the right time to plant.... I potted this lady today so when the sun is out she'll be going outside.

I made some mistakes early on but despite all of that she still grew and produced some nice flowers. Would love to run this one again because she would have been a monster had everything gone a little smoother.

What's up growmies!!! Yet another week in the books. Welcome to week #6. We are officially in flower🙌🏾🙌🏾. Technically they started preflowering last week however I count the transition period as veg. They have stretched quite considerably (especially the 2 White LSD plants). They all are doing well and flourishing. I'm feeding them 1 liter of water every 3 days, which seems to be fine. It seems to be the sweet spot for the 2 gallon fabric pots I have them in. Right now they are getting plain ph'd water (1 more watering to go) and then I will begin them on their "bloom" recipe of nutes. The smell has gotten a bit stronger but nothing pungent, but when I open the tent I definitely get that "weed" smell bumrushing my sense of smell. I flipped the light schedule to 12/12, because I didn't want to keep Caramelicious (the only photo) in flowering for too long out of fear of her outgrowing the pot as I really don't have much room to go up to a bigger size for her. I was on vacation for 9 days, unfortunately I discovered some budrot on the S.A.D. despite the dehumidifier and air conditioning. It is probably also due to the fact that the flowers are extremely compact and hard. It is of course on the side facing away from the fan. It shows once again how important good air circulation is. Apart from that, it has not been fertilized for a week and has only been watered with tap water. The plants have not had any water for 5 days and are on the verge of drying out. The harvest will take place in the next few days. I will report further.
