Started the week with a plastic dome to help with humidity, and after six days the dome was not needed anymore. The seedling outgrew the dome. I keep the watering very light during the seedling stage to make sure there isn’t any overwatering. I take my photos about 24 hours apart

Starting week 10 now. Ran into some more underwater issues as well as I think I did not supply enough dry nutes in the beginning to pot since had some slight deficiencies showing before underwatering. Getting close to harvest so just gonna ride it out. Also in process of changing the ventilation system so have had a couple of high temp issues over 80f. Under control for now till I get the setup finished and noted to add more fertilizer to next grow. Even with my errors the girls are sticky and smelling good.

Left these ones out a bit to long and not nearly enough love, so they suffered a bit but that's ok. I am going to experiment and try water curing the buds. First time ever using this method and I think it will make a good little project. No idea how to it will turn out, been reading it will remove most of the smells and that sucks but the smoke is very clean and light. Only time will tell. take about 7 days to fully water cure. bud washing helped get rid of a lot of extra that stuck to them outside.

03.07. OG KUSH Day 69# Nothing special is happening, it's been 4 days since the last update, I was a little late last time, so here I am so I won't be late again. Tomorrow is the end of the tenth week for the plants, this morning I fed them, before that I gave them only water for 2 waterings, that is, they were in water for a whole week. It's hot right now and I'm watering them every 3 days, this morning they each got 30+ liters, anyway, except for the ones in smaller pots, they got a lot less.

First moldy spots found... 😬 Defoiliated the Moby some more for better airflow.. Hope, the next week's aren't too wet...

New Aeroponics "root rain" mist cloner! Holds 2 gallons of water. I added 8 Tsp of CloneX clone/seedling nutrient. PH was 6.0-6.5ish, good enough! These clones inside got zapped pretty hard one day, because I forgot to plug in the water pump one time after playing with it hehehe... Some didn't make it, but most survived! every other plant was watered with just de-chlorinated tap water, for re-hydration. #4 has been selected as the winning pheno! The mother plant had her home upgraded to a 2gal pot. The root ball was not so bound, due to her receiving a root-prune not too long ago, she was re-potted back into a solo cup. I pruned the bottom of the root mass off with a light pinch, and potted her into her new 2gallon home!

Start of week 3, the three survivors are doing great! I did happen to find some algae growing on top of one of the rockwool cubes. (This was my fault for not fully covering the tops of them with hydroton to block out light.) As an attempted fix, I cut some square pieces of black cloth that I laid of the top of the cubes to block out the light completely. Hoping removing their light source, the algae will die off and discourage any further growth. If it gets any worse I’ll try using a hydrogen peroxide solution. Day 17, the three ladies are looking nice. Starting to see some nice healthy roots populate inside the buckets. I went ahead and upped their nutrients today. We will see how they are doing in the morning. -FloraFlex - 1.5g/gal of each V1 and V2. -Advanced Nutrients - 1/2 strength MGB and hobbyist additives. **Algae update: seems like using the black cloth to block out all the light has killed off that algae growth and I don’t see anymore so it’s working!** Day 18, I thought one of my plants had root rot. Which was weird for it to happen that fast in less than 24 hours since changing the res. Come to find out it’s just nutrient stain from the Advanced Nutrients, so thank god. #1 and #2 which are growing with FloraFlex got FIMmed today. I’ve topped plants before but never FIM. Not sure if I did it right, but that’s the fun in all this, is experimenting to see what works. Day 20, #1 and #2 are responding well after being FIMmed couple days ago. I decided to FIM #3 as well. I also decided to leave the 4th one out of this diary from here on out since she’s behind. We will stick with the original three that survived from the start. So far I’m really loving their bushy appearance and thick leaves. Their roots are coming out super nice as well! Pretty soon these babies are going to just take off!

Both girls started preflower on Tuesday and already I can see that they started stretching nicely. Scrog net will be installed by the end of this week. Week 5 13-19 Nov. 13/11 day 36 First runoff experience for girls. Loaded both pots with approx. 2.5 ltr each in 4 stages of 500-700ml. Runoff 100-150ml from each. Runoff PH 5.9. Nutrients for this watering were same as on previous week and added only calmag. Next watering possibly Friday but with new measurements. 14/11 day 37 Both 🍌💜👊 girls started preflower on same day. Xena is catching up quick to her larger sister and possibly soon they will be sharing this growing space 50/50 15-16/11 days 38-39 Just happy and healthy days 😁 nice steady growth. 17/11 day 40 Second watering for this week. 5.5l beetwen both. Runoff Ph 6.1 19/11 day 42 Most busiest day so far. Both girls got very bushy in last few days and they stretched enough to install scrog net. Before installing net applied selective defoliation on both girls. 8-10 fan leaves from each. It's the end of this amazing week 😁 Thank you all again for such a great support 🤗✌️💚

Man it’s so hot these girls are drinking up so much water!!! Watering everyday. Might be Sweet skunks last nutrient dose, gonna start flush for harvest after today. Plants are starting to fatten up nicely, hopefully we keep this same progress!

Last week of the plant, she continued yellowing, weird week with huge variations of conditions when the sun hits directly, but generally cold temperatures are here, specially at night, and high humidity, we are having a rainy week, it rained every 2 or 3 hours... Planned to harvest, the later the better, but having in mind temperatures, humididty and sunlight, it will be when im stimating the best day, and finally it was October 18th. after 2 days plenty of sun, chopped the first of the bad days that were coming, in the morning .. Week 9! We're reaching the home stretch! I defoliated "J", heavily and super cropped her taller tops. She also is the only one to receive nutrients. The crop is still pretty hefty, so we'll water them 🌞 tomorrow. "J" is happy in her space and is content staying in Veg, indefinitely. I don't have the requirements to flip her into Flower and won't for quite some time, growing Photoperiods was not in the setup or budget. There is still no smell to speak of, except when you manipulate her, she gives off a citrus, pine aroma. This grow has been fairly easy going so far, no real issues to report. I'd like to thank 🙇‍♀️🏾 @WeedSeedsExpress and I look forward to growing their many different strains. Finally, let me apologize for the quality of my 📸 camera, or lack thereof. July 29, 2021, Thursday. I watered the crop thoroughly and rotated them. The girls (other than "J") are watered with pH'd tap water, that fluctuates between 6.2 & 6.4. July 30, 2021, Friday. Girls are chillin'. I'm really having a BLAST! I knew I was going to love cannabis cultivation, but this is something else. I've taken to it, like a 🦆 duck to water. I can't wait to see what more knowledge and experience will reveal. Anyone that's been on the fence about whether to grow or not, do it. Just go ahead and do it. Only thing I regret, is not being able to afford more 💡 lights and fans. Or if you want to grow vicariously, you can always sponsor me. July 31, 2021, Saturday. Everything is peachy. August 1, 2021, Sunday. I watered the girls today. I moved "J" into the "Veg Desk" and she seems to be adapting to her new environment quite nicely. Freeman's birthday is just days away! Freeman the person, not the plant. As I mentioned earlier in the diary, this grow has been in secret and is a surprise birthday present.
