Alright guys so here's to last week My first time doing sweet seeds And I must say it was really awesome Yo, I ran my first Cream Mandarine XL from sweet seed and at the very beginning thought she was going to die, she was sad and having it rough but with lots of caring she came back to life and even better, this is also one of the longest autos and the tallest I've had with many colas, Im still learning so I should probably train them better in the long run once I get to run another one, well if you look into my profile at my grow diary I'm running gorilla XL right now and I'm training her little by little, more precisely I'm making sure she's getting plenty of light so we don't waste any single spot of energy once she's got to bloom!! Very good week. My plant stretched a bit and it is difficult to keep it at a fair distance under the lights. 800-850 ppm seems to be the sweet spot in this stage

- Week 7 - ----- Day 43 ----- Fed 1150ppm @ 6.4ph 23 Liters. Hard to get above 1200 ppm now. More molasses being used, maximum Koolbloom dry powder as well. Tropicanna Glookies is starting to turn purple. Wedding Cake is fattening up FAST More photos later this afternoon mid light cycle. *Update* Big bulk phase is 100% on right now. Wedding Cake is thicker than a tall can of beer in 4-5 nugs easily. Tropicanna Glookies is sweating out trichomes and getting super sticky while slowly turning purple Great things await for these 2 ladies over the next 20 days. *Update* 2 close up shots of some purpling on the Tropicanna Glookies. ----- Day 44 ----- Here's a video. slow easy day of nothing ----- Day 45 ----- I see a tiny bit of yellowing at edges, nothing serious. I don't have to feed every 2 days now anyways its slowed to 3. I top off the ones near turgor pressure loss levels ( I check my whole hand down side of pot for moisture now) with tap water when needed today. Tomorrow will be feeding ~1000ppm most likely due to using Diamond Nectar chelating nutrients with large amounts of blackstrap molasses when combined and left in the reservoir before use. This seems to drop the detectable ppm even though it retains a high level of nutrient content... with Cal/mag (1-0-0) and KoolBloom Powder which is like a 0-30-40 its wildly powerful. Back right Tropicanna smells like Pineapple Sour Patch Kids without the sour. Its insane. I wish I had smell o' vision for you folks right now. Wedding Cake is like sugary sweet but weed esque... earthy esque type of thing. Not the Tropicanna... Shits fruity like kool-aid. Nugs are getting humongous and its pretty fun to watch it fill in, I had a low level anxiety of it never "Filling" in... but yea it's day 45 and look at Big Bertha... nearly dwarfing my fat ass arm... wild shit. Feel like these ladies have at least another 14~ days on the lower end. Wedding Cake should finish a week after Tropicanna... Trying to grab Wedding Cake "indica" tendencies and max them by going for 40-50% amber, 60-50% cloudy trichomes with under 2% (like literally 1-3 clear per 60X magnifying pic) clear trichomes. Tropicanna only 20% ish amber until clear is only about 20% of trichome and cloudy makes up roughly 60% of total trichome finishing... ----- Day 46 ----- Easy day Fed 1050ppm @ 6.4ph 13 Liters only. I want the root zones to dry out more and quicker, less chance of mold and other root rot issues. Cutting watering/feeding in half now but will be feeding prob twice as much. Buds are fattening FAST and are turning purple. Looks like I got the purple pheno Wedding Cake. Woot. ----- Day 47 ----- Easy day Buds are gettin freaky. Really poppin out now. It's quite awesome to see. **Update** *** HEIGHT CHANGE EXPLAINED! *** Took the Tropicanna's off the pot risers I DIY'd and brought them to the floor. Gives light in between the 2 plants at the side and also helps remove any light burn on the tropicanna, as I have been noticing a very slight tinting of too much light in the central part of the tent. Plants look incredible, tiny bit of tip burn but im not too worried, I'm feeding 1000-1200 ppm at the moment. Speaking of which, fed some tap water, 500ml each, they were dry enough to warrant a turgor pressure loss top up. Feeding tomorrow. Enjoy some lights off shots. ----- Day 48 ----- Fed @ 1150ppm 6.4ph 13L Easy peasy lemon squeezy, here's a new video for you guys n gals. 14~ days to go. ----- Day 49 ----- They're getting super thirsty again. woke up dry. gave 500ml tap water each plant. Will do the same this evening. Tomorrow feeding going to go to 16 Liters instead of 13 Liters. I'm lazy and don't want to water daily. Plants look phenomenal, buds are getting massive. The Wedding Cake on the left is throwing out paintbrushes thick of pistils, it's quite insane. Gonna be a hell of a plant around day 63!!! Day 53 i'll start checkin trichomes and start posting x20-x60 shots.

From website seed stocker they said this BCN need 75 days to harvest. So, at the end of week 11(77days) is very nearly to harvest day. Next trichrome check found almost 75-80% already cloudy. I thing if no any problem should be ready in next 1-2 week.

Well it's been an awesome week :) Plants have responded way better than expected to both LST & fimming, I've got a good canopy and plenty of potential colas that are growing well and at an even level. Also, won £200 on a scratchy, so decided to invest in a better light. Went from 300w LED (true draw 130w) to 1800w LED (true draw 595w). The difference in the light is clear to see. Both plants have motored through initial training with LST and fimming without skipping a beat. I've read so many mixed opinions on topping / fimming autos, it was a hard decision to make. In the end, I decided to give it a try and find out for myself. If I'd had any concerns about the plants ability to cope, I wouldn't have done it, but if your plant is looking strong and healthy then it may be something to think about. Personally, I think there is no right or wrong, because it's probably entirely situational - too many variables like strain, genetics, environment, growing medium, lights etc to say one way or the other really. But for this grow right here? I think it was a good decision I'm extremely happy with the results. Scrog net now in place, and both girls are starting to boogy on upwards. No sign of pre-flower yet, I'm hoping they grow into the net before they start stretching too hard. Also, some weird findings from my runoff EC since I got the new light. Runoff EC has always been about 50-75 micro siemens above input. It was predictable as hell. But when the new light was installed, the runoff EC started to drop to about +25 from input... then the same as input..... and now my runoff EC is LOWER than input. Thought it might just be an anomoly, but it has now been consistently lower, every feed for the last 3 days. I'm going to post a question, but if anyone has any bright ideas wtf is up with that, let me know!! Hello Gromigos, well, I've lost the count of days with hell hell temps, always around 95°F. Cookie is starting to stretch but internode length is incredibly short. This pheno is perfect for indoor growing in a large pot, a single but great plant. I've trained to low main bud obtaining an homogeneous canopy. Now branches are full formed and fat. Incredibly hybrid vigour. No need for fertilization, maybe 1-2 shoots later, in blooming. I'm watering them every other day with 2 gallons each, little by little, trying to avoid past's run mistakes.

For this culture, I would like to let each plant grow with a main bud without "topping". I would like the tent to be filled and look like a Sog in flowering. Welp, These took a Bit longer than my Cream Cookies and still didn't fill out quite like I thought they would.. But they are still a very beautiful strain and a joy to have grown. They smell stronger and way more lovely than the cream cookies thou just a beautiful aroma I'd really like to grow these again Indoors where I can control them easier. (Sadly they dried into wispy nothings and we turned them all into bubble hash) #3 took the hit of some aphids and ended up in a frozen hash pile in our fridge along with two cream cookies from the run. It's frozen weight combined was 203g. *will update with dry*

Beautiful plant, this OG kush looks really really happy after 4 weeks since planted, this pheno looks a little more sativa than the pheno number 1 as you can see, but I expect the same from both plants, OG kush always makes me happy, this version of royal queen seeds looks really awesome and I'm very glad to be working with their OG kush this 2021 outdoor season, stay tuned to see how this lady keeps developing guys! Girls are healthy and juicy,getting ready for the light switching,changing pots and also some defo probably 💚🌱

May 24th : Went on a mini vacation and came back to my girls just growing strong!! wooo! can't wait to see these girls just explode as i'm flipping them to flower tonight! I'll be adjusting their nutrients soon and logging that as well! Tonight I just did a plain water / flush on the girls. Going to slowly lower the lights down to probably around 12 - 14 inches and try to keep it at around that height for the rest of the grow! It blows my mind how quickly these things have shot up.. Guess they don't call it weed for no reason!! P.S. The brackets i'm using to hold up my fans are actually an Ikea Wine bottle holder that my wife had, I cut it into three pieces cleaned it all up and zip tied it to the pole. Then hung the fans from the top of the tent with a quick adjust light rope. Now all I gotta do is push the fan up or down to where I want and tighten the light rope! works great!! May 25th : Got a new little Hanging bulb for in the tent that I can move around for pictures. I'm thinking i'm going to pick up another but it sure helped with the overexposed photo's! Can't believe how much they shot up over their first night at 12/12. This is going to be insane! May 26th : Opened the tent to pretty much all the girls praying! Sadly I must have miss watered the front right one. Oh well Soaked her good I'm sure she will be rocking again in no time.. Stretched them out a bit more after the photo's. I think maybe only a few more days of really finishing the LST with the scrogg net. May 27th : Welp even after lst and bending the hell out of these girls after last night's photo, they are showing no signs of slowing down! It's beautiful! Had to move my lights up about 5 inches as they shot up so close! May 28th : I am officially done with all lst and hst training and i'm gonna let them grow wild! Going to do another 1/3 str veg nute feeding tonight it will be their last veg feeding from this point on i'll be onto the flowering cycle of nutes. I plan on starting all Flower nutes at 1/2 strength and ramp up according to how the girls respond. Saw my first signs of Budding tonight Sorry for the overexposed pic on it but I realized it after the lights came on! I'll take more close ups tomorrow! (edit: changed my mind! decided to just go ahead and start all the flowering nutes also! will update log) May 29th : Not a whole lot to report, had to move my fans up as the girls were growing dangerously close. It's amazing to see this stretch, and to imagine it's hardly even started! May 30th : Opened my tent up to an explosion of growth. Humidity levels were way higher than what I wanted due to lack of air movement through and under the canopy. Decided it would be best to Get to the Lollipopping tonight. Put up some before and after pics of our crazy lollipopping adventure! Can't help but feel like I just mutilated the hell out of them.. Hope I didn't take to much!🙏 Guess we will find out! Cut the net down now as all stems hardened in place. Had a reshuffle and as the Dos Si Dos much taller i have moved lights to top and propped my other 3 up on boxes to level the height more. Really pleased with this plant so nice and short but spread with lots of tops, smells really nice cant wait to see how this fattens up. Had to do a little late trimming to open up bottom just removing little bits and leaves well under the lights. Done this mainly to help with the airflow and just to give plants little more space as i suffered a little rot on my first grow as was cramped and struggled with humidity however got good dehumidifier and plenty of airflow so fingers crossed it stays well away this time. Overall plant looks really strong and healthy cant wait to see how these last 4 to 5 week turn out.

That's how I know the crop was harvested too early:( ..... but only because someone started visiting my place of cultivation and took my two girls, and left two, so that he wouldn't come back a second time and take them, I decided to cut her down earlier:( that's it such news awaited me when I returned from vacation, but overall the girl looked very beautiful, although she got a lot of stress when the snails ate her, but she endured it and recovered very well:) I will dry the bigger flowers and make bubble hash from the rest, good luck to everyone be careful in nature :).

The strain has proven to be extremely sturdy compared to the autoflower version. The smell has been a bit problematic. Some terpenes just can't seem to be tamed even with a brand new carbon air filter. I hope this pays off in terms of aroma quality :)

03/31/25: Today was a major milestone in the grow: all five plants were transplanted into 1-gallon AirPots and topped above the 3rd node. I also cleaned up everything below node two, leaving each plant with two strong, healthy nodes to begin shaping their structure for the vegetative phase. Normally, I wouldn’t combine transplanting and topping on the same day, as both are stress-inducing events. However, the plants looked robust and healthy, showing no signs of weakness. Because of this, I felt confident they could handle the dual stress. Still, I expect them to take the next 2–3 days to recover, after which I anticipate they’ll bounce back with even more vigor. Each plant was moved into a 1-gallon AirPot, which encourages air pruning and promotes a more fibrous, expansive root system. During transplant, I sprinkled mycorrhizal fungi directly near the rootball of each plant to help stimulate root colonization and increase nutrient uptake during this critical phase. On inspection, the roots were healthy and white, showing no signs of being rootbound—making this the perfect window for transplanting without risking transplant shock or root constriction. The newly potted plants were placed back into the 4x4 tent, now sitting about 36 inches (approximately 91.5 cm) below the AC Infinity S44 light, which is set to 40% power. This provides a PAR reading of around 360 µmol/m²/s, which is well-suited for early veg. To begin early phenotype tracking, I’ve labeled the plants as PP1 through PP5: • PP1: Most vigorous plant so far • PP2: Slightly behind PP1 in size and growth rate • PP3–PP5: Showing very similar growth characteristics, slightly more compact If early vigor is any indication of sex, I would guess that PP1 and PP2 may be male, while PP3 through PP5 could be female. That said, this is purely speculative—true sex traits won’t reveal themselves until preflower, and many vigorous plants end up being female as well.
