So here we are with the last chapter of this journey which had many ups and downs but overall was a great experience. I love growing, it slowly became my passion thanks for GD and the community. It makes so much better, and lot of fun, one can interact with others and can learn from each other. Thanks for everyone who was with me in this last 2 years, you made me a better grower.🌱🌞 So let’s talk about the progress. I grew Liberty for the second time because it was my first photoperiodic strain 2 years ago and totally impressed me with it’s high yield and the effects. I wasn’t disappointed this time either. She had great structure, responded well to topping and training, and was resilient to pests. The germination rate wasn’t as good as usual and finally got 3 different phenotypes from the 5 germinated seeds. I topped them once and performed low stress training to get a flat canopy. The strong structure and rate of growth was impressive in the first 10 weeks which was actually a vegetative phase. They didn’t have any nutrient issues and even though they were under stress for two weeks (was my fault) in mid flowering, they performed really good. So it is a stress tolerant variety in my opinion.👌🌱 The buds are large sized and fat with medium resin production and a different scent for each phenotype. They aren’t dense and sticky like some indicas, but that says nothing about their potency. Flowering time was longer than the breeders recommendation but it's worth all the patience. Four plants were harvested 10 weeks after switched to 12/12 and one after 11,5 week. The harvest took place in several phases and some were immediately trimmed, some were hung with leaves. Calyx to leaf ratio was high except one plant so was relatively easy to trim. Plants which were trimmed after drying was easier this time.💚✂️ Based on the name, you'd really think it's a strong sativa strain but actually, this plant is a balanced hybrid, and it shows in both the growth characteristics and the effect. I am satisfied how this grow turned out however I know that it could have been better without my mistakes. In those two mid flowering weeks when the VPN was off and they were in stress I lost both the yield and the quality of the bud structure. So the total weight is 475 grams. 41 grams ore smaller airy popcorns and the rest are nice nuggets. I weighed the plants separately because I stored them also like this for later testing and smoke report.

I'm continuing the feed schedule of six, 15 minute feeds daily and am leaving the nutrient level at 900ppm. The HLG 650R is now at 100% output, and is hung 28" from the canopy. I'm keeping a close eye on all of them, looking for the first signs of flower. I also am diligently tucking shade leaves away daily trying to get some light down into the plants. 11/3- Yesterday I decided to do a little bit of defoliation, removing the largest shade leaves on all three which really helped with light penetration. Today all of the plants looked none worse for the wear, and as spunky as ever! 11/5- All three plants are now in flower, I have done LST on all three, tying down branches with horticulture wire. I've also done some defoliation on each plant as they got extremely bushy and were getting zero light down into the lower sections of them. All have responded extremely well to the training and are looking great! Tomorrow I will empty and clean the reservoir along with the 'brain bucket' as the water has really gotten funky and has an odor that I don't like. Going forward, I'm going to be doing weekly changes on the reservoir where I'll empty/clean/refill and add fresh nutrients. In between changes I'll just be topping off the reservoir with straight water and only checking the PH. 11/7- There goes the first week of flower for the FastBuds Strawberry Gorilla's and they're all looking pretty darn good, all things considered. Im doing a bit of defoliation, moreover the leaves that covering the buds, i cut some small branches on the bot of the plants, to keep energy for the distal parts of the branches. Every 2 day approximately, to no stress a lot the plants, I pinch the apex of MD1, MD2 and BB1, that my secondary branches go up, until the height of the apex central. Nutriments : 2,0 mL/L of rhizotonic, 2,5 mL/L of cannazym every watering. 2,0 mL/L of terra vega every 2 or 3 watering in case of they need (N) until the final of the strecht (first 2 weeks of bloom). I will put 5L every watering (pots of 18L) and I will analysed the drain of every plants to check pH and the fertilizer amount. Im really proud of theses plants, they are strong, resistant (the trunks are huuuge, moreover the Moby dick from Dinafem) and so healthy !! The MD 3 has reacted really really good with the topping ! Im impressed and quite sure do topping next time ;) I hope they will give me the best of themselves !!!! Lets wait the final of the strecht 😉

Day 30, the ladies seem to like the increase in Co2. I’m still battling the mysterious leaf spots. I sprayed them with Neem Oil just in case it’s some kind of fungus or septoria. This should stop it from spreading if it is. Still maintaining a 6.0 pH. They get a nutrients change in a couple days, I am going to give them a full dose of CalMag, it’s recommended at 5ml/gal and I’ve been giving them 4ml/gal. It’s RO water so CalMag is definitely needed. **I have solved the mysterious leaf spot issue. It’s a Calcium deficiency 100%. Going to raise the pH to 6.2-6.3 and give them full doses of CalMag and see how they respond. Upped their feeding this evening and changed their res. #1&2 are getting 7.5g/gal of each V1 and V2 from FloraFlex nutrients. #3 is getting 10ml/gal of Advanced Nutrients MGB, and 8ml/gal of B-52 Day 31, decided to give the girls a little trim today. #2 and #3 more specifically because they had huge fan leaves blocking out light to some lower sites. Hopefully this doesn’t endure too much stress on them. I’ve also had the lights dimmed this whole time, decided to amp it up to 100% power. Will update again in 2-3 days to see how their responding. Day 35, #1 was showing brown spots again, I think I may be giving them too much nutrients. I dropped the PPMs from 1080 to 880 and adjusted the pH because it was dropping. pH has stayed stable over past 24 hours, plant doesn’t have any affected new growth. I gave all the ladies another trim as they were getting pretty bushy. Still not officially flowering yet they should be starting here really soon though. I’ve never grown an Autoflower before but I’ll learn.

nice week this week. very noticeable transformation. I have a yetti purple berry kush in there which smells just amazing. this week i tried, for the first time, some under canopy LED. 2nd day with it today as i write this. they really took it well. perked up and kept at it. the color and hue is starting to come through. Super happy with this tent. I think its worth the effort to create an organised space to give yourself the best chance possible. you will see the difference in approach form Auto tent and then photoperiod tent.

Start of week 6 now, Not sure if this is technically in the flowering stage yet, but def seeing more of the white white pistils. Accidentally overdid it a little on nutrients so had a good flush with some ph balanced water and all seems good, just 1 or 2 burn spots on a leaf here and there. Dialling it all back to keep it safe at the moment. I've had to bend the tallest plant over and am using my tent net to secure it for now. Included a few vids this time, so feel free to let me know if you spot any issues. Smell is now noticeable if I leave my grow tent open whilst watering, so glad I got a carbon filter. :D Also had to get a bit inventive to shift the LED lights up a bit as Im using a 160 CM tall tent. I am planning to bend most of the tops down to the net hight, so hopefully this will keep things from getting light burn as still have about 25 inches of space from the net to the LED its self. Watering is around 600 Ml per pot per 24 hrs just now. Edit: 04/09/18 Added 2 more pics, mostly on some of the lowest leafs, noticed some marks, thankfully just 1 or 2, so not widespread and could equally just be a bit of nutrient burn, but thought Id post to see if anyone notices something I dont.

I chose this strain to try smoking CBD without THC (1% is very low, it is nothing). In my country is illegal smoking weed (with THC) and after driving car. (You can smoke weed with THC, but in the law its complicated). But CBD is legal here. This is best way to smoking weed and driving car. 1.6.2k19 - 24.8.2k19 (85 days). She was ready about 70-75 days, but I had to do flushing. First flushing wit FloraKleen and second flushing with water (about 30liters in the bathroom). From 3 seeds germinated just 1. Yield will not be the best. She smells very strong. She is covered with resin (trichomors). After drying I will write update (dry yield, taste, effect,...etc.).
