I have been checking them every other day now and this is the week they'll be 'going dark' before I chop and hang them to dry. 12/5- I'm continuing to flush all three with 2g of straight well water with NPK Yucca Extract added, which I then ph to 6.5 @ 68℉, twice daily for a total of 4g each day. The two purple pheno's are just breathtaking in looks and their aroma's! The #2 plant is a beautiful cultivar as well, just not purple, with several huge cola's having formed due to her being topped! 12/7- Today at 'lights out' I placed all three Tropicana Cookies in the dark for 72hrs. I moved them to a dedicated room that is totally dark and which I can keep control of the temperature, humidity and air circulation (same room I use for drying). For the 72hr dark period I keep the temp's between 60-65℉ at a RH of 40-45% with decent air circulation. 12/11- Today, all three of the FastBuds Tropicana Cookies were released from 'Dark Jail'. I actually let them go an additional day, for a total of 96hrs in the dark, and from the looks of them it didn't hurt them one bit! All three look absolutely fantastic and the aroma coming off of them is just incredible! 🤪🔥 Every plant is heavily frosted up and all have tightly stacked, dense flowers. After chopping, I'm going to hang each of them whole to try to extend their drying time as much as possible. My dedicated 'Drying Room' has no outside light and is maintained at 58-60℉ with a RH of 50-60%. I use a de-humidifier, humidifier and two fans in the room. One fan is for air circulation, the other brings in cold outside air and the humidifier/de-humidifier handle the RH. I'm shooting for a 10-12 day dry, but that can always change because we all know 'shit happens'! 😁 My next diary entry will be after these fine ladies are done drying, get trimmed up, weighed and jarred. Grow Diary Update: Week 5 - Pre-Flowering and LST Evaluation Entering Pre-Flowering Stage At the end of last week, the first pistils appeared, marking the beginning of the pre-flowering stage for my plants 🙌 There's much to manage now. To support optimal stretching, I've adjusted the nutrients following 2/3 of the Terra Aquatica feeding schedule: CalMag: 2 ml/l (Starting EC before adding nutrients: 0.45 mS/cm) Grow: 1.33 ml/l Bloom: 1.0 ml/l Micro: 1.33 ml/l The nutrient solution now has an EC of 1.3 mS/cm (638 ppm PPM-500/TDS) with a pH of 6.1. These adjustments aim to promote vigorous growth and prepare the plants for flowering. Weather and Growth With significant weather improvements, my plants are thriving at full speed. Every centimeter gained now counts towards maximizing the final yield, turning around from the challenging weeks prior. Pest Management I'm fortunate not to have encountered pests like spider mites, aphids, or thrips. However, the persistent snail issue remains. Nightly patrols with a flashlight have been effective, and placing old lettuce leaves away from the plants has helped trap and remove snails, ensuring the plants remain undisturbed. LST Experiment Results The two plants I trained with LST have responded admirably, showing healthy adaptation to the bending and vigorous growth. Yet, I'm at a crossroads regarding the upcoming stretch phase: should I continue to tie down branches to maintain an even canopy or allow natural upward growth to potentially boost vertical yield? WEEK 7 | DAY 44 Everything’s going great with the Granite Haze. 😇 She’s just under 90 cm now and most of the stretch should be done. Overall she’s just huge, and it’s going to get fucking tight once the buds really start swelling 😆 The first trichomes are showing and the smell is absolutely amazing.👽 Like, really amazing. Very complex, with noticeable haze/jack notes, but also very sour and fruity. Not completely different from the Amnesia Haze we know here, but only the good parts of it, combined with a lot of modern sour candy vibes 😅 or something like that, not that terp expert haha PH5.7 | EC2 | DLI70 | VPD0.9-1.1 😎

Moin, Die 9. Blütewoche ist vorbei und weiterhin performt die Zkittlez für mich wirklich sehr gut. Alle Trichome sind mittlerweile milchig und könnte auch schon jetzt geerntet werden. Zeitlich bedingt und um den anderen Strain noch ein paar Tage mehr Zeit zu geben wird es vermutlich an nächsten Wochenende soweit sein. Von Geruch und dem Terpenprofil hat sich nicht mehr viel geändert und es bleibt einem Candy Profil mit erdigem Grapefruit und leichten Gas als unter Unterton. Hier bin ich vorallem gespannt wie sich das Profil noch verändern sobald die Buds geerntet und gecured sind.

All growing well leaves are starting to fatten. Mazar and Lime are each 6cm and Ultimate is 9.5 cm. Watering ph water at 200ml as needed.

Cleaned up the #10 mother, with some defoliation, and LST! She's getting ready for her adventure outside this summer! Took more clones from the #4 mother, and cleaned her up. Happy growing! :)

This week has been all about shaping the plant. I’ve learned from last that the colas weren’t the same height, because I let the plant do it’s things with just a bit of training. Now I know what to look for so I’m trying my hardest. I top dressed this week with crab meal, Gaia green all purpose 4-4-4, insect frass, kelp meal, bone meal, azomite, and covered it with a healthy serving of worm castings (about an inch to 2 inches). All of which was sprinkled on all the chopped and dropped leaves/branches. I believe in adding biomass to soil, especially for an indoor growing who is money conscious. Doing that can help save me money going back to the store for more soil.

Hey Guys! Super excited this week! I've really been wanting to try growing outdoors, so I built a cheap hoop house! Got most of this stuff for the frame from Lowes under 300$. All the soil products I got from GrowGreenMI. Some really cool people out there. One thing I'm super worried about is drainage. Right now those holes are about 4 feet deep and they've got about 4 inches of water in them already. What's been cautioned is that, eventually, about 2 months in these plants roots will grow and reach the bottom and cause root rot to form. One of the biggest things I was trying to be wary of was causing root rot. This was also the biggest precautionary measure I took when mixing the soil. Adding the extra perlite, coco, and clay pebbles. Best advice right now is to build the soil up on the holes another 16 to 18 inches and possible stick a PVC pipe down to the lowest drainage point of the hole to allow some of that natural occurring water to evaporate. Any advice anyone has on it is welcomed! Making a compost tea for the soil outdoors, will probably put 2 cups in each RDWC bucket as well and let that do it's magic for a day or so before nutrient change. Raised the bed about 14 inches as well! All the seeds sank! Off to a good start! Lol

Smooth sailing on this batch deep into flower! Were sitting at 77 days today and they are looking fantastic! Steady feeding flora bloom and flora micro. Also giving them 5ml/gal of advanced big bud. These ladies are FROSTY! Cannot wait till these ladies wrap it up! These cheese are STINKY. Nice small, compact stature but they look fantastic. I have 5 of these girls going and I forsee around 1.75 ounces per plant. Solid little grow.

This week has been good, no surprises the pistols are really starting to show in the Zkittles and the Cheese is next is going to be next. The Lemon pie is a little bit behind in this round but I have another that’s 2 weeks younger and twice the height. Did some defoliantion a day or two ago everything seems to be happy

She is an absolute monster. I love her colors. Should be easily my most productive plant yet.

UPDATE - Thurs 4th March The week has been fine. I am going there today so you may get an update this evening. Iv been posting on TheWeedTube also so I have much more videos explaining what’s going on. Plants are looking great. I got paid today so I bought an online fan to plug into the thermostat and pull fresh air in through a duct from a cooler part of the flat. In summer it won’t be as useful but to be honest I’ll probably just duct tape the sucky end of the duct to a small ac or Friday type thing, iv not really looked into it yet. Even a hillbilly cooking system would be better than nothing. ( filling a bucket up with ice, water and salt and put the end of the duct into that so it sucks in the cold air). We’ll see! Update - Monday 8th March All is well, I just want the buds to start swelling now. I found some awesome supports in Aldi. They are metal rings that the plant weaves through and has spikes that go into the pot rather than a scrog net being fixed in place. Therefore I can still move them and drain the run off.
