Week 3: Hoping to set this one on cruise control for a couple weeks. Watch her do her thing. I’m trying to train her low and wide with as many bud sites as possible. I’ve watered with dechlorinated tap water at 6.5 PH

Day 60F The PM on the cheese has gotten significantly worse in the last few days. I think it may have something to do with the constant humidity spikes every time I water. I haven’t been running my humidifier at all in flower so maybe it’s having trouble keeping the RH up during lights on. Just another reason to follow a daily watering schedule. The cheese and slurricane look fucking disgusting and I’m starting to doubt that a peroxide wash can totally fix it. It worked well for my outdoor crop so it should be fine but this time there is probably 3x the amount. I’ll make sure to really soak the buds and rinse them off good. Bbb#1 is flopping over like crazy from the weight. Too late to stake it up now so hopefully it holds until next week. Starting to foxtail a bit but nothing too bad. It is now 100% done and ready for chop. Bbb#2 is just getting frostier and frostier by the day. The purple fade is really coming along nicely too. Might reveg. It is now 100% done and ready for harvest. Black garlic #1 is finally filling out! I can’t believe it. Never heard of a plant packing weight on like that in week 8. The breeder did mention that it packs on weight later but I’m stunned. Taking her to 9.5 weeks. Black garlic #2 is looking very average. Average color, average size buds, average frost, average smell, probably an average yield. And it’s starting to get a bit of PM. Overall not happy. Will be taking her to 9.5 weeks. Zkittlez #1 has pleasantly surprised me. It was a bushy runt in veg but came through. It’s the third frostiest in the tent, super dense, stacked tight, smells great and looks great. It’s already got a nice amount of amber so it’s 100% ready for chop. Slurricane #4 looks insanely frosty even under all that PM. If I can’t wash it off it’s going in the trash. I want to chop this asap but have to cut everything at once unfortunately. It’s 100% ready for harvest. Badazz OG cheese is looking like a decent yielder but doesn’t have much else going for it. I think it still has some filling out to do. I can’t even smell the final profile change yet. The leaves are rotting off very quickly. Taking her 9.5 weeks. I don’t mind harvesting a bit later rather than early. From my outdoor experience, when a plant is picked early it smells like hay and wet grass clippings until it’s been curing for 3 weeks. When I harvest late or at 30-50% amber trichomes it smells like same scent profile it had when growing. Just my experience. I’ve read that the tobacco industry adds calcium and potassium carbonate to their crops to help promote fire holding capacity and to increase the whiteness of ash. Turns out some of the organic amendments I bought last week contain exactly that. I’m going to give each plant a light top dress to see if the tobacco industry is onto something.

Week 2

20/02: The plants are overall reacting well to the larger dose of nutrients especially the ignitor - there are lots of bud sites throughout. I was under watering some plants which has resulting in wilting stems and leaves - will move onto 1 litre of water every other day from next week. 1 OG kush and 1 White Widow is lagging behind but we'll get there. Good strong stalks mostly for all the plants. Gave the a hefty defoliation this week also trimming the fan leaves and letting light penetrate the lower branches and bud sites.

Always dry trim. The leaves come off more easily when dry and it preserves more THC with the longer drying time. Will weigh up in 7-10 days. Smoke report. Tastes like strong grape juice when you hit it. Very smooth and easy on the throat. Pretty much gave me instant relaxation and relief from my depression. Seems like a good morning smoke which I love. 5/4/21. Day 64. WR is beefing up. Drinking about 12 ounces a day, water only. I'm still seeing some clear trichomes. Not much amber. I'm thinking she'll be done in less than a week. Still hoping she lightens up a bit. I want her to burn up whatever nutes are left before the cut. We shall see, patience is a virtue! GC is a beast! Still uptaking a half gallon of water daily. I cut back just a bit yesterday and she let me know by pouting (droopy) this morning. I top fed her about 1.5 quarts and bottom fed a half quart or so. Then gave her a few ounces of Reharge water. I use a hand pump sprayer and water a bit at a time to prevent roll off. Thiink of light rain on dry soil. She looks happy and lush now. She'll get full bloom nutes tomorrow plus some top dressing, her roots are growing up and out of the surface of the soil 😳. Details on the the top dress will be noted in my next update. These two girls were planted on the same day. 5/6 Day 66. GC came out to play today😳 Stll shots just dont do her justice. She's still drinking heavily. Half gallon of 5 part bloom + Cal-mag yesterday morning, this morning dry. I'm gonna botom feed her at night, just a pint or so. I feel bad when she pouts 😟 She's 22 inches at the peak and 22 inches round. Next time I woud choose 5 gallon bags, 2 per this size tent. I LSTed a bit with pipe cleaners to even up spacing. The I gave her another pruning. So much leaf! @Hawkbo on his GC grow for for showing me the way! She also got a top dressing of 1/2 quart of Happy Frog with worn casings, dolomite lime and bone meal. She just eating all these nutes up! The tops are building girth now. Very firm! No oder yet. WR is ready! I'm drooling, no really. She'll get a nice video too 😉 Might do a selective harvest. I'm gonna keep the bloom nutes on the hot side unless she says stop.

Auto Ultimate is an absolute BEAST!!! She’s taller than the another two by far!!! They are all flowering really well and seem to be hitting it out of the park!!! This grow is by far better then our first grow!! The plants are bigger the bud structure is looking amazing everything seems really to be on point!!! We have defoliated far more this grow and it seems to really be beneficial!!! The only thing I would have done differently is I would have LST’d sooner as these stems got super thick super fast so there was only so much bending we could do without breaking them. Had we done no LST these girls would be at the top of the tent by now especially Ultimate!!!

Thought I'd show you guys some root growth. The 3 plants in the video are all gorrila zkittlz.... Non of which look the same or are growing the same way lol. No complaints its just interesting too see such difference characteristics from the same strain. GS#3 The tallest isn't as busy but has huge root growth and strong branches (thinest leaves darkest green) GS#1 The smallest the probability the most symmetrical but shortest in root growth (widest leaves and lightest green leaves) GS#2 The Mid size plant is basically a mix of both all round

Spider Mite infestation. I put the story in the pictures. Long story short, the infestation focused on the lower (ticker) branches of AK2 and this explains the undergrowth compared to her sisters. The trichomes are half-cloudy / milky and she will be ready for harvest within a maximum of 2 weeks. I defoliated her by removing nearly all leaves and put her aside in the grow room. Open to any other suggestions. I also confess that I neglected the plants and did not check the source of the white point. I also used some of the soils I used in other outdoor plants which I believe the source of the infestation. Seed Formations AK2, again produces seeds in lower branches. I did not pollinate this one and there is no other source that she is pollinated. I didn't see any Bananas, too. I am thinking it might be because of the stress from the Spider Mites. Open to any suggestions on that too. Other Two Girls I spotted some mites on them too, but it was not alarming. I defoliated the infested few leaves and they will be okay. Jack Herer needs two and White47 might need another 3 weeks and that is it. I think they all will be okay until then. I will keep a close eye on them. Sorry for not good news this week.
