Week 4: Growth Spurts and New Challenges Continued Growth and Health As we move into the fourth week, the plants are showing impressive growth. Their leaves are a lush, vibrant green, and the stems are becoming stronger. The transition to the larger 11-liter fabric pots has clearly paid off, providing the roots with ample space and better aeration. Adjusting Nutrient Levels Given their positive response to the nutrients, I decided to continue with 2/3 of Terra Aquatica Tripart feeding schedule, adjusting slightly to meet their increasing demands. Here's the updated feeding plan for this week: CalMag: 2.5 ml/l (Starting EC before adding nutrients: 0.50 mS/cm) Grow: 1.5 ml/l Bloom: 1.0 ml/l Micro: 0.5 ml/l EC: 1.2 mS/cm (600 ppm PPM-500/TDS) pH: 6.0 Each plant is watered with approximately 20% runoff to ensure there's no nutrient buildup in the coco mix. I will maintain this nutrient level until the pre-flowering stage to avoid the risk of nutrient burn due to over-fertilization. Weather Improvements and Adjustments The weather has been steadily improving, with temperatures expected to rise to around 25°C starting Wednesday, accompanied by abundant sunshine. This upcoming forecast is excellent news for my plants, as I anticipate a final growth spurt before flowering begins. Every centimeter of growth counts at this stage, and I'm optimistic about maximizing their potential under these favorable conditions. Strengthening with Wind Exposure On days with good weather, I move the plants out of the greenhouse to expose them to natural wind. This practice helps strengthen their stems, improving overall stability. Additionally, the wind creates a more challenging environment for pests, helping to keep them at bay. Smart Watering Strategy I only water the plants when the pots feel noticeably lighter. This encourages the roots to search for water, promoting the development of a stronger and more extensive root system. This method helps ensure the plants remain healthy and resilient. Pest Management: Observations and Actions At the beginning of the third week, I noticed dark discolorations on the undersides of some leaves. A few days later, these spots turned into yellow patches. I am still unsure about the cause of these spots. To prevent a potential insect infestation, I sprayed all the leaf surfaces, both top and bottom, with a mildly dosed neem oil mixture. Since then, the spots have not spread further. Because these discolorations are only affecting the lower leaves, they are not causing me significant concern at the moment. Regular inspections and preventive measures are crucial to maintaining the health of the plants and ensuring that any issues are caught early. Decision Against LST At first I have decided against using LST. But some of your comments made me try some LST on two of my plants. I choose Tangie and Gorilla cookies to try out and learn some stuff. Blue dream and Banana purple punch stay without any training. Welcome to Week 1! On Day 1 after breakthrough, they both got 300 ml water each close to the plant, amended with 4ml/L of Rootjuice and 2 ml/L of Activera, both BioBizz. On Day 4 after breakthrough, they both got 500 ml water each, close and a bit spread out, same dosage of nutes. In my last grow i used 2ml/L of rootjuice but biobizz upped the dosage on the schedule so i thought why not try it out. They receive around 300 ppfd of light, 18 hours a day, ~20 DLI Temps are a bit low for my taste but its winter here and my SO likes to keep the window open, much to not only my plants dismay, but mine too lol. Didnt measure height cause i filled up a bit of soil after their initial little germ stretch Ill post the timelapse and some more pics at the end of this week. This week I realized that I actually never fed her with runoff since I started flowering her, which is something I usually recommend others to do! 😂 So I gave her 10l plain RO water at lights off, and then at lights on 10 more liters with nuts. There came about 5l of runoff with an EC very close to 5, very high. Two days after she started giving a wonderful strong smell and the buds seem to be swelling. So at the next watering, I prepared 20l(EC 1,8), and gave her that all at once. You can see the video. This time there came 8l runoff with EC 5.31. I think I will repeat this 20l again next time to be sure she doesn't get root lock. I'm impressed by her, it looks like she will end up making some really nice big buds if she keeps going this way for 3 more weeks :D

Every video and picture were taken on the same day (113/ week 16). If you look at the bottom branches and colas, the pistils are nearly finished and there aren't many clear pistils left. I have attached microscope photos as well. It is important to check many sites on the plant, as only checking one or two colas may be deceiving as to if the plant is ready to harvest or not. I have taken the lower branch and chopped it about two days ago and will sample it in a few days. I'm excited for this plant to be done soon.

CANADA DAY UPDATE🇨🇦 THE TRAGICALLY HIP🤘🥁🎸🇨🇦 MY SAYING NOW IS: THE ONLY WAY TO GROW IS WITH THE HYDRO🤘 AND REACH FOR THE STARS WITH MARS🤘🤣. So it's been almost a week under the new MARS HYDRO FC4800 and the girls are loving it.. leaves were straight up like they were at a rock concert just blowing in the wind waving their arms like they are in the moshpit🤣🤣 looked so sweet👍. after a day they have stretched so much I had to raise the light already to keep it at 14 inches above the canopy. Plants grow so uniform under these lights, canopy is always nice and even👍. it has a whiter light than the mars tsw2000. Being side by side in my 8x8 tent, I can really see the difference in the color of light. The FC4800 is more of a white light like natural light. I think it might be the blue uv Diodes they added to the fc series lights. I'm amazed at how good this light is already. Barely any heat comes off it. I can rest my hand on it when the dimmer is at 100% and it's just warm. I have it daisy chained to my TSW2000 and it works awesome👍 and I dont have to reach for the other dimmer to do both. One dimmer controls both lights. When I add more lights I will daisy chain them too and control 4 lights from 1 dimmer👍. I still love my tsw2000. It's been going almost non stop since I got it and no issues at all. I take a picture of the Diodes to see if any have burnt out or anything, everything is fine.  same thing with the heat it gives off is just like the FC4800. I can rest my hand on it without burning me👍. Having both lights on 100% because I in flower now, only raises my temperature about 3°celcius. Make sure you got some calmag and if you use reverse osmosis water (bottled water) or filtered water you will want extra calmag because it's filtered out of it👍. These lights are perfect for every stage of growth for germination to flower. Just use the dimmers to reduce the intensity of the lights for whatever stage you are in. Plus they are easy to raise and lower them with the ratchet straps. MARS HYDRO'S recommended height for different stages is pretty accurate but different strains like different Temps and light sensitivity so that's something to look into, a more Mediterranean strain can take more heat and intense lighting. and you can just follow their recommendations for the height for each stage. I slowly turn it up in the later veg cycle until I'm at 75% about a week before I switch to 12/12 and after about 4 or 5 days into flower I'm at 100% with no heat or light stress👍. Mars hydro is awesome for their pricing for what you get👍. They should cost alot more than other brands but shhhhh don't tell them🤣🤣🤣🤣. Just kidding. they want to stay competitive with every brand but there stuff is always cheaper than SF and vipar etc. They know once you use mars hydro products you won't switch to another brand. Why pay more money for something that isn't as good. I've seen lights cheaper than mars but they are cheaper for a reason. They are built cheaper. My TSW2000 is fairly heavy too. But when it comes to getting lights you want some weight to it so you know it's built strong and sturdy and will last a long time.. I called customer service a few times and they will help you out with any questions you may have about the products and they are very well educated in their products👍 very helpful and very friendly. They are awesome 🤜🤛. I can't say enough about this grow tent too. The thing is a beast. I could use the canvas tent to make a trampoline and i doubt it would break its that thick👍 I've had some cheaper tents made of 600d canvas and they aren't that bad. But when you get a tent made from 1680D canvas material it's insane how strong and heavy it is. Before I put the tent together when I lifted the canvas to start wrapping the frame I said to myself.. LORD TUNDERIN JESUS this has some nice weight to it. It was the easiest tent to put together that I've ever had. I went inside with the lights off and got someone to turn it on after a minute or two to look for light leaks and there was none👍. It even blocks out some noise, so if your fans or filters are loud, once it is zipped up it gets quieter. this tent is awesome with So many ports and vents for whatever you need to hook up to it. It has frame bars down the middle and one vertical pole in the middle to keep it sturdy but the poles are made nice and so thick that they probably didn't even need a vertical bar in the middle. It has 2 separate 4x8 floor trays that divide it into 2 4x8 tents. All you need is a mylar divider to easily divide it in half. I love the stickers it comes with. It's nothing big to some people but I know there is lots of people that like them because you see them everywhere in people's tents and in pictures. I love them they are super cool stickers👍. It really locks in the light and temperature and humidity good. Lots of room for all the equipment I have to go in it and will get to put in it. Be good to bring camping too🤣🤣🤣🤜🤛. First day in Flower! It's been... very interesting 2 weeks.. now that I survived tha, im having some lockout due to being unable to take care of my plants for the past 5 days and someone having no idea had to do the job, I'm not afraid of showing these mistakes I'm always looking forward to the outcome so I'm still having some hopes for this og kush, not everything here went as planned and that's why I want to focus on finishing up the grow and starting new ones, better ones as soon as possible, I will definitely never grow autos again as I'm just not a fan of them having to be on 18/6 schedule and I like having co trolley over my plants as sometimes things can go wrong. Og kush had a lockout after flush it grew beautiful but still ate up some of the upper leaves. Runtz.. yeah I like him he is a beautiful little bonsai he didn't get lockout too much but also did I'm looking forward to seeting the stretch on him if it so happens. Cherry gusher, a tiny pheno I got this time I'm looking forward to growing 4 next time and hunt down a pheno. They say outdoors you have to play with God and indoor you try to play God.. we are not perfect and that's why I'm looking forward to the finish line. Will i scrog? I have the net setup but I'm not sure if I will get enough stretch. Day 3 I noticed some light white spots on bottom leaves of the plant after a flush I did recently, I diagnose this as magnese or magnesium deficiency, I'm going to up the cal mag to 8 ml and a+b to 10ml per 5 L of water along with additives extra 0.5 ml just as a touch up. Also I noticed we are at 47cm at the tallest branch after topping and lst and this thing is an absolute bush.. I could probably hide behind it if I was a kid playing hide and seek!.
