Week 7 for the Apricot from fastbuds 420!!! We gave the last week of xpert nutrients feeding and will continue now with only water, harvest time is soon and at the moment the buds are looking great, nice smell in the tent and the buds are nice and covered in trichomes! The plants are not that big but of course i have quite some plants together in the tent and 7 liter pots so they stayed a little smaller, next time i will do maybe less plants but with the bigger 420 fastbuds airpots!

Day 8: Woke up and checked on the ladies, they were bone dry. Hit em with 70 ml of AN Coco Grow diluted in my mix. Day 9: Got the new lights in today and hooked up. Girls are looking pretty good I think. Still letting em dry out a little. Gonna add a shot of Great White on next water. No nutes will be in this shot. Day 10: Still looking good. Had to stack some loose Coco around a couple as they had a good stretch going and were leaning pretty good. Also noticed a couple of brown spots on the leaves. I am led to believe after asking questions and researching, it is more than likely nute burn? No more nutes for these girls for a while. I also got a humidifier to raise humidity as it was pretty low. Day 11: These girls almost double in size every day! They would probably be a little bigger if I hadn't of tried to give em a drink of nutes earlier on! Lesson learned!! Not bad for 6 days out of the ground regardless though, I think. Got a humidifier in the tent and it stays around 50% now. Other than last night it got up to 73%. I need to get that fixed. Day 12: Nothing new to update other than they look healthy. Think I am gonna let them dry out a touch more before watering. Day 13: Gave the girls 1 cup of ph 6.0 water this morning. Thermostat battery went out and lucky my girl caught it in time. Temp got to 86° for a couple of hours. Opened the tent for an hour to get the temp back down. Humidity has been hovering around 50% for the most part. Minor fluctuations here and there. Girls are looking good for 8 days out of the earth though!! 💪 Day 14: Looking like they need another drink, dry down to around 1" deep. Gave em 2.25 cups with super diluted Coco Grow and a touch of Great White. 😳 They are doing great! 👍 Looking forward to see what week 3 has in store! Going to build a support to add my 2 CREE lights back in along with the Mars lights.

Well the plant died on me during the flush period. So it started drying up. So I am harvesting her. She never was super healthy during the grow. I also had her in a cold room as she grew. So it was far from a perfect environment. Its frosty and looks potent. I will try another Jack Herer at some point. Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. We’re now fully in production mode!🔥 The stretch is definitely done, and she’s putting all her energy into bud development. The trichomes are multiplying nicely, and the smell is becoming more and more intense, fresh lemon with a subtle sweet twist.🍋🍬 The bud structure is quite different from what I’m used to, more airy and elongated, kind of sativa-like. Curious to see how this one finishes up. Still healthy, still cruising, let’s see what next week brings!

Purple looks mad Smell is getting strong now lemon and sour smell very gassy 🔥🔥 Reduced temperature abit this week as 1 looking abit burnt The size of that purple punch atm wow I accidently snapped of a main cola just before flower doing lst so now the plant has just 3 mains and i think its focused all its power into them only and fattened up like mad lol Few more weeks left on a couple of them. Germinated using a glass of water. After 12 hours into a bag with tissue paper. Then I hung the bag up so gravity could make the tap root grow straight down.

A big hello to all the cannabis growing gardeners...and all the other visitors that came across my grow journal. Just on harvest day I was summoned on a long quest...around 700 km. will be away for three days. I will update this diary as fast as i"m back. For now just the photos as no time for anything. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now cannabis smell is overpowering in my grow room I can finally write something about Spider Farmers 6-Inch Inline Fan with Smart Controller and Carbon Filter :) As my grow room gets really stinky at times i always invest in a top shelf carbon filter almost twice the size of the one provided by Spider Farmer, to my shock Spider Farmer carbon filter absorbs the smells wonderfully well. No smell leaks and that just when the fan is running at 5 out of 10 levels of output. The smart controller is something completely new to me, and had a lot of fun experimenting with it during the veg and early flower, when the smell began i needed it to run full time at level 4 or 5 to rid the fragnance. All in all the whole combo is a great deal. If you are not as keen on technology the set without the controller is awesome on it's own. But to have some extra options open, the controller at the device throws at you a ton of settings you can use to optemiase you grow enviornment. Budds are fattening...but.. one day I forgot to turn back the fan after inspection, and it was off for a week almost. As a result i have found little fluffy white patch of mold on my biggest budd. So far I just sort of collected it, with a cotton stick.. hesitant to chop it down. Lowering watering, to 1l every 2 days, to keep humidity below 70. By the plan I am keepimg it through the June, 4 more weeks. Unless trychoms will call earlier. Thanks for checking See you next week

Glookie Bomb did great from Bomb seeds. Very sweet earthy smell. Lots of frosty goodness. I cut her, and will be hanging for 24 hours. Then I will trim fan leaves off, and put her in the cannatrol for 8 days. Once done I will do a final trim, and be back with smoke report. Day 50. Tallest Kush chopped by breeders recommendations, but in my conditions like a week at least away. Had max 20% milky, most clear, plant suffered some deficiency and was faiding slowly, still. Instead of Christmas flowers - 5 colas surprised my friends, colours and crystals are amazing. She was watered last 4 rounds with water and i will compare taste and effect , but i think it's a loosing tactics - such early crop. Not more than 40 expected from what left ;))) 5 out of 17 colas was taken away. I will add a third of weight, for real feel in totals. Day 67. After 24 hours of darkness all girls are chopped. Will make review and update in a week or so.
