. End of Week 5 (day 35): She's stretching really well, displaying a dominant stem and shorter surrounding shoots that I believe comes from the Gelato #33 genetics. I've not really done much trimming or defoliation, yet she looks almost naked. Her leaves indicate some stress, but the vigorous growth and appetite say "full steam ahead, Mister." With a sample size of one it's hard to know if she's the 1 in 5 chance Autoflower or not. I may pop the rest of the Gelato x GDP seeds out of curiosity at some point in the future, but its not a priority.

This weeks focus is balancing ph of my homemade Texas Tea nutrient and creating the perfect “Tropical” environment for my babies to thrive in. Incorporated Advanced nutrients up/down to assist with ph also helped lower the PPM. They are loving the vegetation box I built!

28/04/2021 (Day 43) Se realizo un nuevo cambio de solución, las plantas ya están tirando pelos y los leds están al 80%, se observo un gran crecimiento radicular y las paredes del tallo son increíblemente gruesas y duras. 03/05/2021 (Day 48) Las plantas vienen con un crecimiento optimo pero la flora se está tardando demasiado en hacerse presente, se estima que es debido al estrés que tuvo en semana 3 de vege produjo un retraso de algunos días. Esta semana se incorpora Safe Roots al sistema con la finalidad de que deje la solución lo mas limpia posible. También se realizaron bastantes defoliaciones ya que no existía penetracion de luz teniendo en cuenta el tamaño que están ocupando (85% del espacio de cultivo a 30/35 cm de altura) 05/05/2021 (Day 50) Se realizo un nuevo cambio de solución, esta vez utilizando safe roots para limpiar todo el sistema hidroponico. 600w de Citizen a 30cm en 160x80 y la plantas parecieran que si les doy mas luz van a usarla, es increíble la tolerancia a la alta intensidad de ppfd que tienen, gracias a esto logramos subsanar esa semana de raíces marrones. La temperatura bajo drásticamente y nos dejó el indoor en unos 22 grados, donde todo marcha perfecto.

Soil: BioBizz All•Mix Almost all products I use are from BioBizz. About a month before germinating I have wetted the soil to let the microbes start working. On January 1st I put some of this earth in 3 plastic cups with holes on the bottom. I wetted them with ph regulated water with H2O2 to kill most microbes, fungi and diseases. I inserted the seeds about 2cm deep and poured ~3ml water directly on top. I have a plastic dome that I wet 2 to 3 times a day to keep the humidity above 60%. It’s now day 5. I don’t water the soil, because it’s still very moist. Currently waiting for the roots to reach the bottom of the cups.

The harvest is complete, total dry weight = 45g. The root system didn't develop well, presumably due to the airtight pot. Although the entire pot was filled with small, thin roots, the main taproot remained relatively short. After drying, the total yield was 35 g, plus the buds I had harvested earlier to stop the mold from spreading, bringing the total to approximately 45 g. The 18% THC is quite noticeable compared to the 13% of Royal Dwarf and 14% Northern Light. I'd say it's a good middle ground. The outdoor yield was roughly half of what I got indoors. I attribute this to uneven sunlight throughout the day, as well as two consecutive weeks of rain in August, with absolutely no sunshine. Of course, the advantages of growing outdoors are €0 in electricity costs and no smell in the house.

9/20 Man I've been busy. I'm sick too. Looking back at my diaries I get sick this time of year every year it seems. Once I get the important stuff done I'll put some pictures of finished product up. Sunny today and windy as hell. All the plants left seem to be doing good and look like they'll finish. The pink kush might not finish how I WANT but it's stinky and has lots of milky trichs. I'm playing with fire with this mk ultra. It's fucking done. It could get a LITTLE more amber and maybe come together a bit more but I don't know if it's smart to risk it. Frost warning in effect tonight. I'll probably check the forecast and harvest tomorrow. We're having some good weather just cold nights. Then it turns to like a 30% chance of rain for 4 or 5 days. I'll yank it before that. This actually turned out tp be a pretty good year. Haven't tested everything (especially shit in the ground) but what I have sampled I'm incredible happy with. 9/21 IT was a balmy 36° on my way to the garden. My windshield had frost on it. Surprisingly the TIGHT nugs of the pink kush and this phenome of 10th planet didn't seem to mind it. Both strains are still increasing in size, smell and trich development. Not just changing but adding more. Trichs on trichs. Very in hospital environment. It will be interesting to see what happens with these girls. We will be getting some rain. I mean we've had SOME but I mean real rain. If thays the case I'll put these in the garage for a little bit. Honestly I thought these would be goners. I've gotta get to work trimming bucking and manicuring flower. Doing a garden like this sure is an awful lot of work. But the reward is worth every penny. It rained today but I think the plants will be alright. I've been working non stop. I may not have the quantity I'm used too but the quality is AMAZING. I can't wait to do the smoke points and put up finished flower. The other 10th planet seems to be doing really well. I expected nothing off that. I'll keep it updated but it's hard with everything going on.
