So the hubby has been growing this strain (in soil) for approx 9 weeks. It took some wearing him down but eventually after many batches of freshly baked cookies I finally convinced him to cut me a clone, and an apex clone at that. #truelove It took about 3 weeks to root (unintentionally caused a lock out by attempting to grow roots in the same water/nutrient mix we were giving the 5 wk plant) #lessonlearned She’s since recovered and has grown a beautiful root system. Gorilla Glue from AMS is doing great under the Spider Farmer G3000 light. I just changed light times to 12 hours today. So let the flowering phase start 💐. I think I am past most my previous issues. My feed is pretty strong already. So I am not adjusting it yet. I will be going into more of a potassium rich diet while trying to reduce nitrogen levels once stretching is done. I defoliated today and will again more aggressively in 2 weeks. I wanted to open it up for the stretching in hopes it stays more in a bush or more even canopy. I will likely have to hst them if they stretch a lot. Time will tell of course. 5 week veg was too long IMO for the size of pots...8 week flowering but she changes rather quickly...nothing really and then boom a see of orange...wonderful tricoms...broke 2 plants down and hung for 6 days the other 2 got hung whole for 10...all is jarred up and curing and cant wait to taste her full potential...took a sample bud but speed drying does no justice to taste and strenght any how the ash was light gray to almost white so 2 weeks of just water seemed to do the trick but we will see...

August 18, day 108 (day 41f), the buds are going through their final ripening before harvest. They are putting on a bit of weight still, but the trichomes are close to where I would like them to be (entirely cloudy) and there is some foxtailing starting on some of the buds. I don't mind the foxtailing as it means more harvest weight, but the plant is definitely getting closer to the end of its life. The Mandarine scent and beautiful red tones make this strain a winner. The buds are chunky in a good, balanced, "I'm not going to find rot in the middle" kind of way. August 21, day 111 (44f), flush soon, cut soon. Finally, 25 weeks i believe... Mold, mildew, bud rot, rain, humidity, crazy wind, frost. Somehow these girls turned out just fine and I am so proud of the end result. I am late posting, everything is pretty much all cured up and ready to smoke. Just finished making some stocking-stuffer jars for friends and family for Christmas. It was interesting to see the different phenotypes from each plant. One was named Average Girl, medium size, medium height. Then there was Big Bitch. She was the tallest and had the skinniest nugs. Next was Dolly.. She had the fattest cones of the 4.. a little shorter than Average Girl. And last was Runt... She was about 2 weeks behind her sisters and about a foot shorter, but she did not get any mold or mildew, and her buds were ginormous. I let her go an extra 2-3 weeks later than her sisters, bringing her into the garage every night at 7 pm, and then waking up at 7 am to put her outside. By far, my favorite plant was Runty. She finished up so nice. Overall smell is Kushy blueberry diesel cat piss with a hint of citrus. Wouldn't grow this strain again just because it did not handle the weather well, and I like a kushier final product, on the taste and nose. That being said, I am a very happy guy right now. She has suffered some root damage due to lack of co2 at the root zone so I dried the cup out before I repotted her to give the roots some space. Good news is she seems to be bouncing back. She now stands at 7 cm

Trichomes are looking milky and full. Going to give one more light feeding, and then flush em towards the end of the week. G13 has some calyxes that are growing in top of existing bud... possible this one keeps growing for another week, but seems like Banana is ready to go. Is there any downside to getting one gallon sized Mason jars for curing? I've yet to have a successful dry/cure, so really hoping to dial it in this time with the proper climates.
