Buds getting bigger..

Day 50 of flower. Dimmed the lights back. I will more then likely start my flush on day 60. #2 and #4 both are turning purple. Happy growing everyone!

Buenas noches fumetillas, de nuevo volvemos, y es que estas green ak xL se están poniendo increíbles, son bastante delicadas a los cambios de temperatura y a las variantes en los nutrientes , hay que ser muy estable y cuidar en los cambios climáticos, si se consigue salen unas flores enorme y llenas de tricomas. Ph controlado, temperatura y humedad dentro de los parámetros correctos, 1 de los 2 ejemplares que quedan recibirá un lavado de raíces pronto, la otra seguiremos abonándola una o 2 semanas más. La próxima semana nos vemos familia.

Aug 19th, Cappy #2 has been steady and filling out really nicely so far. Have added Phos-Fixer Blend Tea for her to build up her buds easier. This stuff has been working great with the Growdots, Azomite, Langbinite, alfalfa meal combo lately. Gonna keep working on that but think I found my start point atleast .. Still growing at a good clip tho, she's reaching for more light so I had adjusted the DLI some roughly between 35/40 now about the highest ill really ever go. Lights about 75% (640w) but get nice tight buds no need to run up my electric lol. But that's really about it for this week. Can't wait to see how this one goes I kinda biffed up my first one not being home to harvast it wasn't handled right .. learned alot this last year lol, definitely gotta automate more and get atleast 1 solid helper for times I'm physically unable. Due time grow rooms still coming together slowly aswell. Getting there tho .. Always appreciate everyone's time and support, hope ur all doing well !! Till next week!! Okay so this week things have started to really take off in every way. Buds glistening and fattening up more by the day. Extreme resin production on the cereal milk, sugar and fan leaves on the cereal milks are COATED in trichomes. The wedding cakes also have a fair resin production and covered in trichomes and are seriously starting to fatten up! The smell is very pungent and come out of nowhere compared to last week. The wedding cake has a sweet, earthy Almost vanilla like smell and the cereal milk has a very pungent cookies sweet smell with hints of fruityness. So far so good cant wait to see how these turn out. Been told they are 8-9 week flowering strains from other people who have grown the same Cuttings so not long left!

Welcome back to the last flowering update week. My Unit Farm test light grow of the UF2000. My house strain has been flushing for last two weeks. Fading and deficiency signs are showing as they should. I will be updating a harvest video/pictures this week after I finish the two days of darkness in a few days. Plant smell wonderful as it has in past grows. The UF2000 light for 100 watts did good in my little test area. It did not have a breeze while growing, and temps were lower then my growing rooms. Not by a lot though. The UF2000 is a great light for the price. I will be continuing to use it, and recommend it if you are on a budget. I will be doing a test grow with the UF4000 in a few months, when I start my new photoperiods. Will likely add the UF2000 in the canopy with it at that time. Thanks again UNITFARMLED_Justin. Start of week 11, ladies are doing good and continuing to fatten up. Looks like #2 is pretty close to being done. Going to let her run through Wednesday, then check on her trichomes. If we got more amber I’ll begin the 3 day flush and chop her down on Saturday. If I feel she can go longer I won’t start the flush until Saturday/Sunday. Plants #1 and #3 still got another two weeks or so before they’re ready to chop. Day 72, I moved plants #1 and #2 to the front of the tent for easier access. They’ll be the first two done out of the 3 included in this journal. Also cleaned up some of the leaves on them to open up everything to light during these last 1-2 weeks. Still unsure if I’ll begin to flush #2 on Wednesday or wait till the weekend.. Day 74, checked trichomes and we still aren’t quite where we wanna be before I start to flush. I’m in DWC my flush is only about 3 days tops. We will check again start of next week and hopefully she ready. Day 76, checked on #2 she still not quite ready. I will probably let her run through Thursday next week, begin flush then chop on Sunday the 6th.

Such a beautiful week! I love watching these flowers form! I defoliated slowly over the week in order to allow more air and light to pass and today I finalised that with the last trim until pre harvest and took off her branches that Weren’t producing anything so all energy is going to go to the rest! Last 2 days humidity has risen but not enough to cause a problem so I’ll be making sure to be lowering that 5% per week until finish! Wish me luck! Almost there 😝

Week 3 has come and gone and it was a sight to see!! All the pistills came in nice and strong. I have to get in there and defoliate every couple a days a bit. This will be the last week of defoliation. Once I can see the main bud sights I will do my final trim. Started reducing the Nitrogen as the stretch faze comes to an end and up the bloom ferts. I cant raise my light much more so I hope they stop stretching this week. Im excited to see the flowers grow into these pistills and watcch the calayx swell.

Sorry I couldn't get better pictures but I'll try again tomorrow. This strain certainly deserves it. Very low leaf to bud ratio on this plant. Dark pink or orange stigmas retracted into the buds as they finished and one pheno had the densest nugs I've ever grown. This year realky showed me the difference of quality seeds compared to "local" clones. After a rainstorm on the large fluffier pheno I found a "trapped" bumblebee inside one of the massive colas. I had to help it out. It was literally "stuck" due to the resin. This strain had the most pleasant aroma that stuck with the finished product. Due to the small amount of leaf to bud ratio this plant was a breeze to trim. That being said I still don't have it ALL manicured up but I'm working on it. All plants seemed fairly pest resistant as well. If you enjoy indica strains (90/10) with short flowering times than this should certainly be on your "to grow list." Having these plants totally finish before October was very helpful. According to many local growers (both patients and commercial growers) this was "the worst year for growing cannabis in memory." I've had the best year I've had in decades (probably ever) both quality and quantity wise.

Week 2 is actually week 3. Only giving water. My dog decided he loved the plant so much, The he would dig her up when left outside! I guess I am lucky the plant was young and she seems like she recovered very well. I think she is stunted, because she looks small compared to others I have seen. I’m about to crack open and beer and wish for the best.
