At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. The girls started to pre flower this week. I decided to try a scrog net out hopefully it will help with yields come harvest time

Olá amigos, passou uma semana, houve um bom desenvolvimento, o jardim está a ficar bonito 😅 as três variedades da barney's são muito boas, e tb acho que estou um pouco melhor nesta segunda vez de cultivo interior que faço na vida, a runtz muffin é uma planta bastante robusta tal como a BlueBerry OG com um crescimento normal, a shiskaberry ora a shyscaberry 🤔 nunca tinha visto uma planta assim.. estão a crescer ramos novos nos ramos laterais, mas que planta cheia de força, amanhã vou mudar o ciclo da luz para floração (12/12). Espero que continue assim com êxito, aceito sugestões, grato amigos 🌳🌱🍀☮️✌️

Mit ihrer Blütenstruktur erinnert sie mich an Thai-Sticks in den 70ern. Vielleicht hat sie ja etwas Thai in den Genen. Während des Trimmens war hier im Growroom die Luft zum schneiden. 70 Gramm Nass getrimmter Stängel trocknen jetzt in DryFerm Bags im Keller. Das Treppenhaus riecht. Gave just some water, no nutrients. Dimmed the light down to 65%, I think the green gelato got some light stress.

Day 43-49 A lot of them are showing signs of going into bloom. Doing their stretch before bloom, so they need more nitrogen before they're done stretching.

Chopped on day 76 from when it was planted into soil. It was always scraggly and would remind me of the gimp hand dude in scary movie 2. It pushed along. It's aesthetically pleasing and a smooth smoke but I won't be growing it again. Not a fan of the high or anything else. Will sit on the shelves in grove bags until smashed into concentrate. I ended up with roughly 42 grams dry weight.

Practico defoliación para una mejor penetración de la luz y bajar la humedad. Las plantas se comen todos los nutrientes y comienzan a formar unas lindas flores, mantengo una semana la dosis de nutrientes en algunas plantas hasta ver bien formados los erizos. Week 3 Update Day 18 (VT18): The nutrient comparison has been running for a week now. While it's too early to draw conclusions about plant performance, the effort required for preparing the irrigation water is clear: GHF is the quickest, followed by BioBizz, and Advanced Nutrients takes the most time. The new pots are amazing—no water leaking out the sides during watering, and the zipper feature for moisture control is a game-changer! Attaching today’s pictures along with a poll for your input. Cam Check Issue: While away, I noticed on the cam that GHF#2 has started curling its lower leaves. It’s well-watered, treated identically to BioBizz#1. Should I repot with fresh soil? Day 20 (VT20) – GHF#2 Emergency: As the title suggests, GHF#2 is in serious trouble. I’ve ruled out overwatering, tap water issues, CalMag deficiency, and soil quality. BioBizz#1, which received the same treatment, is fine. The only variable is the GHF nutrients added during repotting: 2g GHF BioBloom per liter 1g GHF Enhancer per liter Symptoms: All fan leaves are curling from the bottom upwards, while shoots remain unaffected. Unsure what’s causing this, I replaced the substrate entirely with BioBizz LightMix and skipped any additional nutrients for now. The discarded #3 plant was on the windowsill but has been returned to the tent as a backup. It’s looking rough but might be better than losing GHF#2 entirely. Unfortunately, this development jeopardizes the nutrient comparison for GHF, as I’m confident it’s not overfertilization. Let’s see if GHF#2 recovers in LightMix. If it does, the issue was the nutrients. Day 23 (VT23): BioBizz#1: Thriving as expected, consistent with past grows using BioBizz. GHF#2: Still struggling, with all fan leaves curling. Growth is significantly slower than the others. AN#4: Incredible growth and root development—roots are visible everywhere after just five days. Unfortunately, GHF#2's condition has worsened: curling is now spreading to the shoots, moving from the bottom upwards. Growth has stalled almost entirely over the past four days. Next Steps: GHF#2 is likely beyond saving. I may replace it with #3, though its week on the windowsill has stunted its growth. Catching up to AN#4 seems unlikely. I’m considering moving BioBizz#1 alongside AN#4 in the main tent, while #3 gets 1-2 weeks in the smaller tent. However, I’m unsure if #3 should remain with GHF nutrients. It hasn’t been fed yet, and starting an organic regimen this late might not work. Side Note: My girlfriend insisted on saving #3—seems like fate played a hand, and so far, she’s been proven right! 😅 Attaching updated pictures for your insights.

In the third week, fertilizers are added, and the plants are lightly pruned to encourage diagonal growth. I also tuck the leaves to allow light to penetrate, and transfer the plants to the growing bed.😋
