Got a new light this week, it's basically a HLG 260 R-Spec except locally manufactured using the same Samsung LEDs. Big Mumma got her 60x60cm tent today and will go in there under one Viparspectra 300W blurple (130w from the wall). I trimmed her, super cropped her main stem and added a scrog net in preparation of flowering her in the next couple of days. Because my other plants were getting up past 75cm after 7 days of flower (100cm is my absolute max) , I decided to supercrop the canopy back down to about 60-65cm - it was pretty scary and I definitely broke the outer stem on some of them. Also gave them a good trim. Fortunately most bounced back strong the next day which are the most up-to-date photos you see (17/4/20).

Another breezy week however, we had some hot weather here, temps were up to 34°c in the room for a day or so which caused a bit of tip burn. When plants are forced to transpire more in a high VPD scenario, one should reduce the EC of the water by 10-20%, this helps the plant take water easier through osmosis without taking up more nutrients than it needs, unfortunately as I spent most of last week high and didn’t notice it until the second day. Will start to post more pictures every week now they’re looking a bit more interesting 😁 EC is currently at 1.4 due to hot weather, and I’ve noticed when it hovers around 1.6, the EC drifts up to 1.7-1.8 after 3-4 days so thought it was best to cut it back a little. UVB during lights on will soon be introduced, possibly at the start of week 15. Thanks for stopping by!

Week 1 - 01/01 to 01/08 2021 HUGE THANKS TO @MARSHYDROLED and @VIPARSPECTRALED! New surge protectors/heavy duty timers/the good cords. The Red Poison by @Sweet_Seeds is right on track with the Dark Devil and Purple Lemonade from my other diaries. The LSD is a little behind but the genetics seems to keep it small if you get the wrong pheno. Will give it a week or so for it to really settle in with a root base before cleaning out my 5gal RootPouch pots from the last grow and getting them transferred into their final homes. I have all my seedlings under the P1500 from Vipar as my veg light for the first few weeks to a month. It's SO nice to not have a blurple anymore, the light is way better in my room and on the eyes. The new diodes had every single seedling grow more in 6 hours than it did in the first 7 days under the blurp LED. The Red Poison perked right up and threw another set of leaves in the first 6 hours under the new light just like the Dark Devil and Purple Lemonade. I noticed a bit of spotting on the Dark Devil in my other diary so I added some Hydrogen Peroxide to the spray bottle and it cleared up. All four have been getting constant spritzing from the spray bottle to keep humidity up. Excited to see how big i can get the autos under the new lights, will switch over from the Vipar to the Mars by end of week 2/mid week 3 once I transfer them and give them a day or so settle in. Well I ended up having to break down my grow this week. Long story but I took some clones of these to do again in a few months. Sucks big time but only a minor setback. This was the last pictures I have of the grow before I chopped them down to break down the tent.

This girl smells amazing...She was also pollinated a couple day ago with the SKUNK #1. I can't wait to grow those seeds. No complaints this week...It's rainy season here so I'm just working around that.

Estas flores están cogiendo unas tonalidades increíbles, y empieza a desprender unos aromas brutales como a ácido.

Put the girls in a new tent. It’s 5x5 with a 1k hort and xxl air cooled hood. The are getting their lean on, had a few branch casualties but every is looking good, started to flush the plant with Ph’d water and 1g maxibloom per 1 gallon.

Northern lights has been growing good. I did some lst and defoliation on her today. One of her branches started to split, so I bandaged it back, and went to the cheap lst clips. Hopefully that heals up nice and fast. Beside that she has been growing like a champion. Every is going good. In about 2 to 3 weeks she will go to her tent and flower. It's just officially week 8 day 56 fron flip. Been on 10/14 schedule this week too. My select strain i kept clones of are very vigorous and u can still see some hairs on leaves. Also perfect buds. Early cut test makes u go in another universe. Both are sweet but the select one is mossy n sweet hint cheese maybe thats the best one. Other one is sweet af even before cure like skittlez but the shape n yield aint good foxy n small :( the other one has a taste that is rare and denser very long trichomes. Anywho from here i givem non npk goodies then ro flush few days before chop. If they are not finished b4 contest to mt taste, ill harvest like half of the branches or something....they'll get their pics and ad.
