🌿 Mission completed ✅: Mellow Jelly - The Chop! ?❄️
Let's go! Welcome to the final update for the Mellow Jelly. She has officially been chopped and is currently hanging to dry. After fighting through the pest stress earlier in the cycle, she bounced back perfectly and finished incredibly strong.
📈 The Details / Harvest Report:
The Chop: Harvested right inside the optimal window. Checking the heads one last time before the chop showed fully milky trichomes with a solid percentage of amber pushing through.
Density & Weight: The colas finished completely swollen and extremely top-heavy. Those support strings I had to tie up last week definitely saved the branches from snapping under the final weight.
Resin Production: The frost on this plant is out of this world. The calyxes and sugar leaves are entirely caked in sticky trichomes.
Canopy Structure: The earlier LST and defoliation paid off, resulting in solid, dense nugs all the way down the mid-canopy with very little larf.
💧 Next Steps:
The grow cycle is done, and now we move to the dry. She is hanging up in the dark, and I am keeping the temperature and humidity strictly dialed in for a slow, controlled drying process. Once the stems give that perfect snap, she will be trimmed up and moved into jars for the cure.
Let's keep it growing! 🌱💨
