Week 7 Flower – Roller Coaster Haze (Zamnesia Seeds) The Final Push Begins Here we are, Week 7 of flower, and the Roller Coaster Haze girls are standing tall, magnificent, and absolutely covered in white hairs and swelling calyxes. These monster plants have truly lived up to their name, a wild ride from germination until now, and this week marks an important turning point in their journey. This week they received their last feed with nutrients, watered at pH 6.0 and EC 1.42. From here on out, it’s pure water only. The soil still carries enough reserves to sustain them as they finish ripening, and I want them to cleanly express their genetics all the way to harvest. ⸻ Environment Control – Heat vs Balance Outside, the temperatures are brutal — reaching 45°C (113°F) — but thanks to the combined ecosystem of TrolMaster and Spider Farmer controllers, the room remains stable: • Room Temp: ~28–29°C • Humidity: ~65% • VPD: ~1.3–1.4 Even under pressure, the system holds strong, giving the plants exactly what they need to thrive in these final weeks. ⸻ Lighting Adjustments – Simulating the End of the Season Light is one of the most powerful tools we have, and this week we began shifting the spectrum to signal “end of season” to the plants: • Whites & Blues: slowly being reduced • Reds: increased to 100% • Far-Red & Deep Red: 100% • UV: 100% This spectrum mix encourages ripening, resin stacking, and terpene expression while mimicking the natural transition of sunlight as summer ends. The plants respond by pushing their energy into the flowers rather than continuing vegetative growth. ⸻ Plant Development – Giants in Full Force The girls are absolutely towering now, monster plants with stacked colas and pistils shooting out everywhere. Their root systems are so strong that some roots at the soil surface are even thicker than the stalks themselves. By the end of this week, Pheno #3 was harvested, though I will dive into the full harvest details later. Pheno #2 remains in full bloom, swelling, and shining bright. ⸻ What to Expect vs What Not to Expect Expect: • Continued swelling of buds and trichome development • Pistils slowly beginning to darken and curl in • Leaves showing natural fading as stored nutrients are consumed • Stronger aromas and denser resin production Not to Expect: • Any more vegetative growth or stretching • Heavy feedings, the focus now is ripening, not building ⸻ Final Thoughts This week feels like the beginning of the final push. With nutrients removed and the spectrum shifted, the Roller Coaster Haze is entering her true finishing phase. I wish it was easier to upload media here. That's why is taking me so long. Stretching everywhere, she went from 3 feet to 6 feet in a heartbeat. She is running into the light. I raised the ppm because I'm going to turn 600 watts on. They look healthy, but too much legs.

2024/05/05 : I was away for a few days, there are buds everywhere now... gave them a shot of bio PK. The height is 48 cm : LED is 20 cm away but I can move it up. I wait to see if Blueberry can handle it as it is, it shouldn't stretch much more. DLI between 34 and 42. It drank 12.5 L last 5 days. Fan leaves are dark green and the smell is present (lemon for the moment) : last watering with bio PK in two weeks and I shouldn't do anything else until end. I like Autopot+Biotabs!😍

A mostly uneventful week for the outdoor photoperiods. The were watered once with the cal-mag/kelp solution and were kind of pounded with rain most of the week.Then It got very humid too. I was worried for the plants during the storm we had they we calling for 70 mph winds that took down some powder lines and trees down the street. While i don't have the plants rigidly staked the cages were able to support the plants during the storm. Im not sure if the stakes would help or hurt i have a feeling it would help them snap easier rather than bend with the wind. They all survived and are getting some nice intense sunlight after the storm. I'm hoping I will be able to take some clones this week. Also hoping that my mantis cocoons will hatch!

Week after week the flowers are developing very good

Alaskan purple auto is doing good. She is growing great under the Medic Grow Mini Sun-2. She has started to shoot her pre flowering pistils. Also she is starting to stretch. Everything is looking good, and hopefully I can place in the contest. Week 9 6/2-6/8 Now at the start of week 9, my outside gals, except L. Cake are now in flower. One of the last top view photos 6/2 of Opium shows flowers forming. She is over 6 feet tall. From the side view photo of Opium last week to the photos take 6/3 show a growth spurt compared to the zinnia in the flower stand behind Opium. This is the first week I’ve had to add nutrients to her feeding. Some lower leaves were yellow. Since I’ve been using amended soil, this indicates Opium is a heavy feeder. Nutrients in soils are used up and she is starting to use her own food sources. Our temperatures are nearing mid 80's with high humidity. The plants are requiring at least a gallon of water a day. 5 gallons well water TPS1 60ml used 1 gallon per plant =12ml Cal-Mag 25ml used 1 gallon per plant =5ml Recharge 5ml used 1 gallon per plant =1ml Signal 1.25ml PPM 1414, PH 6.93, Temp 82.5 Note I do not have to PH adjust my well water. However, our city water comes out of the tap at 8.2 ph so I must PH down using the hose or my inside grows, ============ Germination April 6. Vegetation Week 1 water only Week 2 water only Week 3 added recharge and TPS1 increased ppm to 570. Week 4 continues with recharge and TPS1. I added Fox Cal mag increasing ppm to 685 - 805. Week 5 TPS1 9ml/gal Recharge 5 ml/gal Fox Cal-mag 5 ml/gal Week 6 5/12-19 Moved outside in 5 gal air pots receiving rain and well water. Week 7 5/19-25 Since I was in Colorado last week, I feel very behind on my diaries. Opium received only rainwater for the last 2 weeks. She is 38 inches and has huge leaves. Some have 13 fronds on one leaf. She is taller than the cage support by 2 feet. I removed the peony cage support because Opium phenotype is tall and lanky. Sativa structure all the way. Certainly, no average genetic base could be behind such brilliant parameters! Little stress from the scrog and not drinking as fast as normal. They will come around I’m sure. Gave them a second top dressing after about two weeks. A little more feeding than what is recommended plus the liquid kelp, calmag, Herculean harvest, and recharge. Just making sure they are loaded with enough N to get thru stretch and early flower. At least that is the logic. Considering it may take weeks to break down some of the Gai Green 444 all purpose but it’s all you can do!

Bent her a little too hard (or too late) and snapped the main stalk, but taped it up and she seems fine now. Also gave her some defoliation. Fed Recharge for the first time too, seemed to like that, I think it helped with the fast healing of the snapped stalk. Bud sites starting to develop. AVT is front-right in the group shots.

This week was a big week for the candy cush. I noticed upon watering her to run off, that in the same day the pot would go super dry and light weight. I also noticed stress in the leaves and roots poking out the bottom of the pot. It was time for a transplant. So far so good! Upon transplanting i performed more LST to help her fill in the pot. She went from a 1 gallon to a 5 gallon. She was also defoliated thia week.

No more nutrients! Just heavy dose of resin finish plus connoisseur bloom (advised by feed chart) Ec input sitting at 0.085 Ec output sitting at 0.280 Buds starting to look more frosty and leaves still fading, will probably have to run another week and wait for my run off ec to get below 100.

( DAY 33 AND IT SHOWS ZERO DEFICIENCIES ) IM ALSO DOING VERY LITTLE, SLIGHT DEFOLIATION Sidenote : Being that's it's my first autoflower I'm super happy with it overall growth and surprised on how quick they are going from veg to flower , NL 2 on day 21 and NL 1 on day 26 .... I will say this, i really am liking the speed and vigorous growth of this northernlights autoflower in general and becoming a huge fan.... Hope you enjoy my growlog .......

This wee was all vegative two phase. On day 7 this week the two shorter plants were transitioning to generative one phase. These girls are so fast the phases come and go quickly. This Last week was raining or cloudy everyday. I had to switch to dry nutes because the soil is staying wet. Feeding liquid nutrient mix/teas isn't an option. I've found a few specs of PM on the one plant I didn't top. I treated with Arbor bio fungicide and it's clearing up. The other two are showing immunity so far and are receiving no treatment.The nutes are listed as ml/gallon of soil topdressed. After day 2 inspection I believe I ran the nutes a little hot. They should grow into them. Adding a second topdress of 800ml of coop poop 2-4-3 on day 6 this week. We got a big rain day 7 early morning. It washed that coop poop topdress in and really gave the plants a good green color.The one that didn't get topped is pushing 64" the others are about 57" so I used an average. I recommend topping but to keep that one from falling any further behind I let it grow without topping. The one that wasn't topped is being treated for powdery mildew with Arbor bio fungicide. It's helping the other two are still showing immunity and are further along in flower.

This was my best experience yet with growing and am quite proud of myself! Training went almost perfect and the plants handled the resistance strengthened up and sprouted so many buds! All we’re dense and frosty by the end time! I dried in brown paper bags in 17.5-18.5c temps with a humidity of 40-50% and took 7 days to dry! I have them curing in 3L glass jars with 62% Boveda pack inside! I’ll be able to really taste the flavour then but it’s already strong and tastes great! Royal queen seeds are definitely worth a top place on seeds! Added a few photos after cure! The smell is like sweet pungent and flowery and the high is full body and u get itchy eyes and dry mouth!
