📆 Semana 7 ¡La Gorilla Cookies sigue sorprendiendo! Esta semana la planta ha dado un salto impresionante: los cogollos están mucho más compactos y las flores han aumentado de tamaño y densidad. Cada vez es más evidente la capa de resina que los recubre, con los tricomas brillando bajo la luz como si fueran diamantes. En cuanto a la alimentación, sigo con la línea de XpertNutrients para floración. Los niveles de PK se mantienen equilibrados, y solo hago ajustes de pH para asegurar que la planta absorba todo lo que necesita sin bloqueos. El riego sigue siendo preciso, ajustando la cantidad según su ritmo de consumo. Los Adlite siguen demostrando que son una excelente inversión. Gracias a la distribución de luz, no solo las puntas, sino también las ramas inferiores están desarrollando cogollos densos y con buena resina. Cada parte de la planta está aprovechando al máximo la luz. En el ambiente, las temperaturas siguen entre 23-25°C y la humedad ronda el 55%, lo que está controlado para evitar cualquier riesgo en esta etapa delicada. Estoy ventilando adecuadamente para asegurar que el aire circule bien y prevenir problemas. Los aromas están en pleno desarrollo: ahora se pueden distinguir claramente esos toques dulces, terrosos y el fondo de galleta que caracteriza a esta variedad. Los tricomas están bastante lechosos, pero aún no veo ámbar, por lo que seguimos en fase de engorde. Crecimiento fuerte, cogollos sólidos y resina en abundancia... ¡Seguimos creciendo fuerte! 💪

Here we are, ready, after a week of really fruitful germination we have 20 beautiful plants all marked with the Z of Zamnesia. They are a strain in test. Day 39 - Watered the Gold Leaf today by dunking it. 8.4 PH going in and 6.3 for the runoff. The PPM was only 500 or so, but I'm guessing it is because of the dunk. The soil test was still 5.3 on one side and up to 5.7 on the other. I checked right away so maybe it has gone up. GDP #1 seems to need water, but GDP #2 will need another day. The Gold Leaf is reaching the 25" limit for flipping, but the net should help show things down a little so the other 2 can catch up. Day 40 - Both GDPs needed water and got dunked. PH was 8.5 and the runoff showed 6.2. A soil PH check came back at 5.9. I am hoping that the small jump will help. I realized I would not be able to test the runoff with the stand and saucers I was using so i got new ones. This lowered my potential flipping height, but with the SCROG I am hoping to keep the goldleaf down long enough for the GDP to catch up. Day 41 - The Gold leaf is tall enough to bend down and the GDPs are almost there. I'm anxious to see how many bud sites I can get through the net before I defoliate and flip to flower. I don't think I should wait much longer with 3 plants in a 2x4 and the gold leaf getting close to 25 inches. Day 42 - 2x4 is too crowded so decided to order a 5x5 and move them over before I flip to flower. The gold Leaf is dry again. Watering with 3 gallons to try and get the PH up and the PPM down. The PH of the water I am using is 7.5 Day 43 - Watered Gold Leaf today. Going in the PH was 7.5 and the PPM 250. The runoff showed 5.9 and the PPM was 870. The soil test after work showed on one side as 6.1 and the other 6.0. Getting better, but I want to be closer to 6.5 before I flip them. The 5x5 tent will give me the room needed for that. Day 44 - Watered the GDPs today. The water going in had a PH of 7.5. The PPM was around 255. The runoff had a PH of 6.2 and a PPM of over 850. Both were very similar. At least one more week without nutes unless there is a problem. The ladies all seem to be showing a bit of magnesium deficiency. I started using a foliar spray for now with 1ml cal mag in 500ml of water with a PH of 6.5. Might need to add cal-mag to the next watering. The 2x4 is way too crowded with the 3 of them in there together. Hopefully the new tent shows up soon. Day 45 - The Gold Leaf is getting worse. It looks like lockout again. The other side of the spectrum this time. Probably too alkaline... 😒 From now on I will be feeding with water with a PH of 6.5. For now I added a few drops of micro and bloom to the foliar spray and applied it once more. It seems like it will need more water in a day or two so that should help.

Haven't uploaded week 8 so here's a few words about then. I couldn't do much else since I was waiting for some supplies before transplanting them. Overall, it was interesting to learn more about watering. I was definitely underwatering them and I think that contributed for them looking "sad" on week 7. After increasing the amount of water, they started looking better and growing more too. I also sprayed them with bauv. for IPM. About week 9: Supplies arrived so I mixed some Bokashi in the soil mix, filled some 7L vases (made some extra holes on sides, lesson learned from the first weeks hahaha) and transplanted the plants. After that, I watered them some Shrimp FPE to increase microbial life, phosphorus and chitin content in the soil. 2 days later and two of them are looking really happy ( plant 1 and 3)

Saw a big jump in bud size this week.

Day 15 added grow. Feeding 1.5L per plant which gives a little run off. Pot drying out every 3/4 days and growing about an inch daily atm, big changes to come over the next 7-10 days really looking forward to seeing these grow taller

I definitely will be growing this again but I’ll make sure my humiditys on point so I never have to be in this situation again, I’d recommend this strain to anyone novice or expert. I did nothing to these plants dident top them, defoliate or LST I let them grow all natural. I’ve heard glueberry O.G. is a squirter when put in a rosin press so I’ll update everyone on that once flowers are dry.0

Week 4: Had no problems at all. Some leaves turned brown, but that's okay. Unintentionally, I doubled the fertilizer amount because I thought I had 2 liters to mix, but I only had 1 liter. Next week, you'll see how this affects the plant. Despite this, everything has grown well.

The result:63 DAYS FROM SEED TO HARVEST

I put the clones into bigger Pots once their roots were fully established. Immediately started LST and put in the clones at an angle so that light is distributed more evenly. Autos also growing well but Panty Punch is lacking because of crippled leaves. I still let her live to see how she develops. I plan to bend the clones in a circular shape so they grow into an even canopy.

Since the humidity stayed at a very high level, it was only a matter of time...HORROR!😱 I FOUND BUD-ROT! 😭 On day 73 (=Flowering Day 49) I spotted a white fuzz on my ZHEETOS #2 plant from BIG BUDDHA SEEDS. I took it out and inspected her closer and found budrot on the main stem and in the main bud. I immediately cut off the infected parts and tried to save the rest of the plant. (see first video above) Since I do NOT want to spray my plants with any chemicals, because they are my medicine, I resort to UV-C light. I use the CLEANLIGHT HOBBY UNIT (a UV-C plant protection light from the Netherlands, that kills bacteria, viruses and fungi) and shine the UV-C light on all my plants and the soil-surface in the pots (see second video above). This will kill all the remaining spores of bud-rot (which are a kind of fungus) in my closet and stop it from further spreading to my other plants. I also immediately stop giving any BIO NOVA nutrients from this moment on, although the plants LOVE THEM. But I have to do this in order to flush the plants before harvesting them. I cannot risk and wait until the plants are fully matured, I have to do an emergency flush and harvest as soon as possible, so I dont loose the rest of my medicine to bud-rot. Hold your thumbs that I can save them for a week longer...👍
