THese Girls did not turn hermi But they turned Krazy and have been Stretching way more than there parents did and is flowereing like a week longer to start than its hermi parents.. i even trimmed it to bare ones when i started 12/12 and kpt it tied down to trellis hight for two weeks before letting it get virticle. then to my surprizi in only two more weeks its grown over 6' wich is higher than y lights will GO. had to Bend it down asmap last week now i have to crack the stalks again to barely keep them 8 in below my lights im down to Three inches and they have stopped stretching and have maintained the 3 inches hoping to get lucky and not get light burn Im Going to try and tie it down lower but already have way to much horizontal branches from bending it down every day this week wich is blocking a lot of light to anything below 4 inches from the top isnt getting the proper light and space to flower they bloom alot better when they are virticle to the light and not tied down virtical making the flowers only get the one side of the flower instead of all of it This Grow has been the most challenging one like Nothing Went as it was supposed to ive grown this strain times prior one from seed and two from clones and this grow was 2 Cloned branches with Flowers in the 4th week.So im thinking this is the reason why the speedy extra growth is because the clones were flowers back to veg for 5 weeks then flowered again thats the nly thing that is different also they have Zero male flowers unlike their Hermie mothers

Edit from 16th May. Ok, so... I got Fungus Gnats... I vacuum cleaned my plant my accident... Overwatered first 2 plants... This is not like riding bicycle, I had to re-learn few things. But we going strong! The biggest plant (Fat Banana week #4) growing big and strong, every 2 hours I can notice some changes, she seems to like the environment (32C and ~40% Humidity), soil stays wet for weeks literally. I have to buy bottom feeders and keep the top soil dry bone to prevent Fungus Gnats having sex in wet soil. I have switched to 600W now and I put my lamp around 30cm higher then before. I have a net for Sea Of Green hanging and waiting but Im not sure If Im gonna use it or If I'm gonna "lollipop" these plants just because there is so many of them now there. I didn't "top" because I believe that main cola produce some banger THC content and terps, so I want to focus on all main colas and just tackle the side ones. Edit from 17th May. It looks like Fungus Gnats don't like 24h light. I can see larvas trying to eat the roots (fuck you you fucking.... FuckYouGnat). But I don't see adults flying around. 4x yellow tape helps as well for sure. I ordered some Nematodes, they should be here next week. Until then I'm fighting manually. I placed a decoy on most of the pots. I'm hoping to attract larvas to the decoy instead of baby roots of my plants. They already eat one of my seedling before it even fully open the shell, so I think there are not so many of them to attack all plants at once. I feel like I'm having more and more control over them everyday. Moving the dry soil to the sides also helps a bit with killing larvas. Just uncover the wet parts with larvas and blast them with all the watts you have. So far 2 big plants looks good and healthy, some praying leafs every now and then. I think I'm gonna leave the lights for 24/7 until I'm gonna be sure these FuckYouGnats are gone. Edit form 18th May. Nematodes arrived, I mixed 1 pack in 2L and watered all 8 pots. I have 1 pack left that I'm planning to use next week or after 2 weeks. Lady Banana is showing her sex. I was worried that it looks like hermie but I think it's just Calyx in very early stage. She also looks "wilt", I guess from all that dry period, she got some water today with nematodes, I'll check on her tomorrow. Vacuum Cleaner Surviver going strong! I believe she would even survive a house fire!

Thank you to everyone for following this journey! The results were nuts. Honestly, I would've been happy with 40g dry as this is my first grow. I DEFINITELY did not expect this outcome which is insane. This gives me so much confidence in my future grows and appreciation for the companies whose products I used. So, now to the point - Dry weight - Top class buds - 176g, smaller buds - 32g, larf/leaves/scissor hash - 26g. To sum up - 208g of product you can smoke and 26g that'll go to edibles. First grow, 2x2 tent, 100w light, three-part fertilizer and cal mag - that's insane, especially because I was expecting nothing more than 60g and like I mentioned, I would've been happy with 40g. I even thought my scale was broken or something went wrong, I still can't believe I pulled 208g of bud. It took 117 days from seed to smoke - that's disregarding the cure. Seed to flower in 42 days. Flower to harvest in 61 days. 14 days drying. Thank you to FastBuds, I've sent them an email about the grow with some questions and got a speedy reply with some pointers towards the end of the flower. Also, I don't have anything to compare this grow with but I had 0 issues with pests which I was really happy about. I didn't have to spray anything on the plants, didn't have a single bug inside the tent. They mention on the website that NL is a very resilient strain so that might've been because of this specific strain. Spiderfarmer light did amazing too - 208g of bud from 100w light!. General Hydroponics did way better than I expected - there's so many companies with multiple bottles of nutrients that expect you to spend ridiculous amounts of money on their products while I got crazy results with just 3 basic bottles. Cal and Mag by Canna worked with no complaints. Takeaways - seems like the runoff pH doesn't matter in coco - I could be wrong but I struggled with coco pH from the very beginning. Regardless, the outcome speaks for itself. Maybe the harvest would've been even better with an optimal pH but in this particular grow, I don't think it mattered much. Before starting this grow I've done A LOT of research and it looks like it most definitely paid off! I was panicking at first because of the slow growth. The plant also had some leaf deformities and the color wasn't as green as I've expected it to be. It was stressful at first, I think especially because I was constantly comparing my grow to someone else's. This specific LST method where I kept rotating the main stem clockwise every day or two paid off as well. The canopy was relatively even and new tops grew crazy fast. The only thing left to do is to cure the bud. I had two 1.5L containers ready for cure/storing since I didn't expect to pull much but had to go acquire a few more "big boys" to fit all the product in, which is a good problem to have. I don't think that I'll be updating the cure here but the plan is to burp 2x/day for 15-30min each time for the first week and 1x/day for 15-30min the second week. After the first couple of weeks I won't be timing the burps. As of now, I've placed boveda 62% packs inside the containers to maintain a RH of at least 58% in the jars. About the Northern Lights strain - the smell hasn't fully returned yet post trim, but it smells like sweet fruits with a hint of black pepper. You can still smell a bit of pine/grass but I think that'll be gone after the cure. Buds are covered with trichomes, they shine like diamonds when you take a better look. Also, the buds look a little airy but are still really dense when pressed. The smoke - It's a tasty, relaxing high. I get why people describe it as night time smoke but for me personally, it grounds me a bit and I can enjoy it anytime. Also, it burns white ash :)) P.S. This is a lengthy diary but I hope that people can learn some stuff from my notes shall they read them! Thanks to everyone that followed the journey, showed support or just browsed through. 22/5 just given them 20l fresh water per tray which is done (2 times a week). Feed schedule 📅 changed 2.4ml per ltr (bloom) 1.8ml per ltr (micro) 0.8ml per ltr (grow) 10ml per 20 ltr tray. (Flowerbomb) Had a problem with (smaller plants) tray. Which was too with pump luckly i have a spare so have changed them over. I have kept this tray on a pre Flower schedule now they have a better pump i believe they will pick up speed. So far so good fingers crossed 🤞 😊

Gave her 2ml of micro boost from living Soils.

Week six. She is probably about ready to flip to flower. I did some defoliation and cut some lower branches to root clones. This thing is bushy as fuuuuu, even after my fan disaster damaging her! I am doing some LST on lower branches and will SCROG as best I can when I flip to flower. She is happy and healthy right now. No issues. Humidity in the tent has been a bit high so I may have to get a dehumidifier in the tent soon. This strain has been putting out the prettiest ridged leaves. Ive been having a blast taking artsy photos of them lol

WEEK 5 This last week of vegetation went pretty well for my Zoapaya. It didn’t react very well to topping and ended up with a rather unbalanced structure. Still, a few strong shoots managed to establish themselves. The single feeding this week was probably a bit too early for her, but I think she’ll handle it. Over the course of the week, I lightly trimmed and defoliated the lower area to keep the focus on the good shoots. By the end of the week, I was also able to spot the first pistils. I’m now looking forward to the flowering phase and hope the stretch won’t get too wild. PPFD: 500µmol/m²/s Water: 2x water 1x nutrient solution Vpd: 1,2Kpa

my dry and cure style is this: 4 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 4 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. buds are one of the hardest as fucking rocks type of buds! very dense , compact , sticky , smelly , amazing at every aspect growing stage was 56 days and flowering stage was 75 days total (harvested tops at day 64th) the total weight of dry buds was : (plant #1 & #3 top buds 56 G + lower buds 22 G ) 78 G + (plant #2 top buds 47 G + lower buds 18 G ) 55 G + (plant #4 top buds 120 G + lower buds 67 G ) 187 G = 367 G

We are coming up on the last week of these girls based on time from flower and trich ripeness. I will not feed them again as there is more than enough in the soil for them to finish. I will dry them in the room then clean and reset it for a no till living soil in 10 gal pots. Also upgraded the saucers to heavy duty plastic ones. Something I can lift even full of liquid.

Hello all fellow growers. I will first wish everyone Here Merry Christmas and I wish everyone the best ever Christmas Holidays and Grows. Yes My Gorilla Glue survived and done pretty well since a great Guy here in Grow Diaries advised me to use Cannazym on My Beautiful Gorilla glue when encouraged problems 2 weeks back. She responded perfectly to it. She started working on herself again. This week she fully loaded the trichomes every where ,some started YES Finally Started to turn slightly milky day 60. Buds going dense. For me that's was the Sign I am waiting to get Flushing done. Left it for 3 more days to make sure that more Trichomes start turning milky. Day 63 was my Flush day. 15L, PH-6 water on 2 waterings in space off 15 minutes. First Saturated the soil 3 L water then watered slowly with the remaining 12 litres off PH-6 water temperature 22-23 degrees. Now it's all in Gods hands how big those coals will get.
