Why we changed nothing (and why that’s not doing nothing) Your room conditions: • 🌡️ Day temp: ~28 °C • 💧 RH: ~65% • ⚡ EC: 2.4 • pH: 6.5 • 📏 Height: ~40–80 cm • 💡 LED lighting On paper, some growers would panic at 28 °C in flower. But here’s the key difference between growing by numbers and growing by understanding: Under LED, leaf temperature ≠ room temperature. LEDs don’t radiate infrared heat like HPS. So while the wall sensor says 28 °C, the leaf surface is usually 2–4 °C cooler. And the plant does not “feel” the room — it feels its own leaf temperature. That’s where leaf VPD comes in. ⸻ Leaf VPD — the part most people skip VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) is simply the difference between how much moisture the air can hold and how much it actually holds. But here’s the nuance most charts miss: • Room VPD is calculated with room temp • Leaf VPD is calculated with leaf temp So if: • Room = 28 °C • Leaf = ~24–26 °C • RH = 65% 👉 our leaf VPD lands right in the comfort zone for early–mid flower. And the plants are confirming that with their behavior: • Deep, relaxed green • No tacoing, no praying too hard • Internodes strong and structured • Uniform nutrient uptake across phenotypes That’s the real data. We’re not ignoring numbers We’re letting the plant be the final authority. Stability here beats “fixing” something that isn’t broken. ⸻ Defoliation — why this time was heavier Let’s be very clear: This was not aesthetic defoliation. This was functional defoliation. Context matters: • 🏠 8×8 room • 🌱 ~27 plants • 🌬️ Airflow, light penetration, humidity pockets all scale differently Sometimes a single plant wouldn’t “ask” for leaves to be removed — but the room does. Why you defoliated: • Improve airflow through a dense canopy • Reduce micro-humidity pockets • Allow photons to travel deeper, not just hit the roof • Reset apical dominance and refocus energy on flowering sites Yes — i went harder than originally planned. But: • Genetics are strong • Plants are healthy • Root zone is dialed • Feed is stable Healthy plants recover fast. Stressed plants don’t. These girls are the first category. And importantly: we didn’t stack stress. No feed change. No environment change. No light shock. That’s how we “go hard” safely. Here we go, this is the ninth week of growing. The plants look, and smell incredible right now, I've started flushing last week, and will continue this week , and I hope to make the harvest next Saturday. By the time I've been removing a lot of leaves, because they started to turn yellow, as the cycle of the plants is getting to its end. I am really satisfied with the overall quality of this plant, every aspect of it is amazing! My retarded daughter is getting herself together, but she still has almost 3-4 weeks until she's ready.

Nach dem Umtopfen ging es direkt weiter mit einem ordentlichen Wachstumsschub – richtig schön anzusehen! Die Pflanzen haben den Wechsel super weggesteckt und legen jetzt ordentlich zu. Alles verläuft bisher nach Plan, ohne nennenswerte Komplikationen. Die Symptome des Calciummangels sind komplett verschwunden – die neuen Blätter sehen gesund und kräftig aus. Offensichtlich zeigt die angepasste Düngung Wirkung. Auch die Thripse scheinen erfolgreich bekämpft worden zu sein. Ich konnte bisher keine neuen Spuren entdecken – hoffentlich bleibt das so. Heute stand noch ein wenig Entlaubung auf dem Programm, um Licht und Luft besser ins Innere der Pflanze zu bringen und die Schimmelgefahr weiter zu minimieren.

Season 2 is officially underway and so excited for this grow. Growing 4 plants, but space is a lil limited. Growing in an 80x80cm so using small pots. 2x 8l and then 1x 5l and 1x 4.7l (if you wanna be exact lol). This time I decided to experiment a bit. I'm testing 2 different soils, both in 8l pots, both Purple Punch Auto by Fastbuds, both in airpots. Their names are Lily and Robin. Also testing fabric bags against airpots. Both in same soil, both in 5l pots, both Wild Dwarf Auto by Bulk Seed Bank (that was the plan but now it's 1 WD and another Purple Punch). Their names are Jess and Cece. For this one, Cece, had the seed in water for a few hours and then paper towel and then in 5l airpot.

I also made a few upgrades in the bloom tent and moved a few of the cultivars into bloom under 12/12. Also, I realized my BlueLab Conductivity Meter has the option to switch to EC. Since EC is the most accurate way to measure the nutrient concentration in a solution, I will now be measuring and reporting EC readings rather than PPM. I am honestly super stoked about every single plant in this run. That said, I think I am probably most impressed by the 🍭🎅🏻 COTTON CANDY CANE lady from Emerald Triangle Seeds. She is incredibly vigorous. She was started nearly a month after all the others (except the 🦍🍪 GORILLA x COOKIES) and has already caught up to some of the taller plants in the run. She is almost a month behind the other plants and is almost as tall as the tallest cultivars started on 8/10. All in all, everything looks great. Each stake goes to the bottom of the 12" pot. All transplants have nice solid root balls due to being slightly rootbound. I knew I'd likely run short on premixed soil, so I decided to transplant the largest plants first. Of course, I ran out of soil after 11 plants were transplanted. It seems like I used a lot more soil than usual with this method and in tgese pots. - I mixed a new batch of soil using the same recipe. I will give the five smallest gorls a few more days to grow taller. That will give this batch of soil a little time to innoculate. - I moved the 11 transplants into the 96" x 48"bloom tent under 12/12 lighting schedule. 🚿FEED DAY!🚿 She received approximately 1 gallon of solution. Termino de la segunda semana de floración y las niñas no pierden el tiempo. La malla scrog ya fue situada y esta siendo acomodada de a poco para obtener la mejor producción y como si fuera poco, las niñas tienen un muy buen color y se están adaptando bien tanto a la malla como a los nuevos fertilizantes. Seguimos manteniendo la dosis de fertilizantes tanto en la gelato auto como en las sublimator y amnesia molotov y una vez se terminen de mostrar las flores, agregaremos un aditivo para adicional (a las feminizadas) para que potencien su volumen y sabor, que en este caso será PK Booster de BAC

At this point, I water the roots to take off the rest of the fertilizers I used. I think it gives better flavor and you don't smoke the residues. The plant start to use its reserves to be almost done.

To the ladies out there, you can grow a house plant you can grow this with some patience and the help you get here. Not enough women growers out here!

Week 10 - 1/3 -1/10 1/4 - update - not sure what to do next. my feeding schedule only has 10 weeks of feed so i might flush with water for last 2 weeks until it is ready to go? **i think the deficiencies are either Maganese or something im not sure .... i think i should add some cal mag to my feed but i didnt want to go "rambo" mode just yet with this being my first grow i wanted to stick to the gameplan. going forward i might cowboy up a little more because i didnt realize that the food chart was more of a guide and then depending on what the plant tells you - you adjust appropriately... but whatever live and learn . PPMS havent really gone over 500 during the whole grow either so i think i got some room to work with.... people said they use 3ML of CalMag the entire flower stage. flower ppm should be 1000 and veg between 600 and 800 .... ill try that moving forward

Hello fellas 🙏 Ladies are stronger than rocks, they can't stop! 💪 I start Hard Stress Training on 27 of June, now at the 2th of July i just top them a second time, after an hard main-lining too 😅 and now they're praying to the sun (lamp) 😍😍 I Talk to them every time that I go in the box, I sing for them I cuddle and i love them everytime more..that's the way i know! 😇 Hope you enjoy the VIDEO of the last topping, i put off the music because you could hear my dog's (Pluto!) shaking 😂 and the "TAC" moment :( I really hate cut off some part of them, sincerely...but, i think i do it very well 😂 Wait for everyone impression!
