7/19: Started new nutrients today. Filled gallon jug with new nutes. Poured half of new nute mix in half gallon jug. Poured the entire half gallon jug into reservoir. 7/20: Bumped light intensity to 50% 7/21: Filled reservoir to the 2nd line today. Added a total of 1 gallon to res to get it to that line. Poured the rest of the mixed nutes for this week (half gallon) and then another half gallon of just plain water. 7/24: Bumped light intensity to 55% 7/25: Sadness today 😞.. While in the process of doing more LST today I accidentally snapped the main stem. I Panicked! Moved plant back in opposite direction to counteract the split. SO, the girls were doing so well into their second week I decided to do the unthinkable... This is the 8th week. Thursday will be 9 weeks of 12/12. Some trichs are amber. They just added a good bunch of girth over the past few days, but most of the pistils are red now. The rest of them have been dropping leaves consistenly but the canopy remains full so they must be putting out more leaves. I just flushed to 80% runoff and found out that I had 1200ppm. I just got an ec meter but my last reading said closer to 600 so idk what happened there. I flushed until I had runoff ppm of about 150. Now they're back in the grow tent. I don't want to keep assaulting them with my microscope. I think they're ready. Just gonna let them settle another day or two to dry out a bit. I took one small branch off the small Wedding Cake plant on Thursday and I've just been watching it dry on my counter. It's been 5 days and the stem snaps but still leaves a fiber connecting. I put it into a small jar with a 64RH thing. I just want to try it. It already smells amazing. The leaves on the big CBD Blue Shark plant are going really yellow and some other colours are starting to come out as well. The buds all fattened up and got more frosty again. I was worried they were foxtailing but they got more calyxes underneath the peaks and have been making more of a pyramid shape. They're really close to peak. Harvest day will be March 17 or 18. March 17 1023pm chopped and hung after lights off all day. RH was 65% before I chopped and 50% after I closed the window and cut the plants off the saturated pots. I did a wet trim to prevent mold. The buds are sticky af. Gonna hang them to dry for 7-9 days before curing in jars :) March 18 : checked the RH when I woke up and it's chilling at 45% 😎 March 19 : just checked to see how they were drying. There are seeds in every plant. RIP I'll update when I put them in jars and again a few weeks later for final review. Overall it was a good grow despite the rocky start and a good introduction to the mainline technique and my new grow space. Next grow I should have everything pretty well dialed in. March 23 They were hanging for 3 days. Rh was around 45, then spiked to 65 overnight when I forgot to turn the fans back on. Temp was high at around 26.they felt wet after 2 days, and bone dry after 4 days. The stems still didn't snap but I put them in jars anyway. A day later, jar RH was 50%. I burped all the jars and there was a smell from the new jars. I took all the weed out, washed out the jars, and did a dry trim on the weed. One of the Wedding Cake plants must have gone hermie. I didn't see any bananas and didn't even realize there were seeds until the very end. The seed pods looked just like calyxes while the plants were growing. Many of the nugs are unusable. Under the sugar leaves are just layers and layers of seeds. Some weren't hit that badly. The CBD Blue Shark is much better off but still has some seeds. I'm trying to stay positive. It's a bit of a shock though. I'm anxious to try the finished product. If the flowers at least taste good and have a good effect, all is not lost.

So close to harvest. This week and last I reduced the amount of TPS1 in the feed from 15ml /gal to 10ml/g. Early in the week, Apollo's lower leaves started showing the fade using up the nutrients. Thursday, I did a preliminary trim to remove any fan leaves and feeder leaves with longer stems. just handling the stems and buds my hands, nails and arms were sticky. After the trim, I put Apollo's Friends back in the tent with her. When the plants were in different veg/flower cycles, I separated them into tents. GDP and zkittles grew with in 2-3 inches on the light. I could not raise the lights anymore. Today, 11/19 is day Apollo's 69 day and 41 in flower. The harvest window per RQS is 70-75 days from seed. Tuesday will be the harvest day. After watering only 2 liters with Vit B, Recharge and Signal yesterday, I put her in the 3#x3tent in the dark. Apollo's buds are thick, dense, stinky citrus floral and sticky. The sugar leaves are showing color change as she knows her life is ending in glory. I am so proud of this grow. I didn't overfeed so I have experienced the color fade to yellow as foods are used up and the delicate colors emerge in the sugar leaves. I am very impressed with Royal Queen Seeds F1 genetics. So much so I bought Milky Way F1 and Medusa F1. I will definitely have another Apollo grow in January. Thank you @James at RQS. Apollo F1 had a huge base stem and was multi branching-even the side stems had side stems. The stems were sturdy. No support is needed for her branches She stayed short at 26 inches tall. I definitely pushed her on the watering. When I saw no runoff after 2.5 liters of water, I upped to 3 ltr. Then 3.5, then 1 gallon. I watered 2 liters, let the water absorb, then slowly add another 2 liters. There was a small amount of run off at the time of watering but was all gone by the next day. It could have been evaporation, but I really think it was consumption. Consumption is an indicator of yield. As densely bushy as she is, I'm estimating at least 90 grams. So for future grows, especially for very bushy plants, I will defoliate at least 2x during early and midflower to open up the canopy and let the plants bulk up more. She did show some nutrient (cal-mag) deficiency and for the next Apollo grow, I will push the feed a bit. I'm excited and a bit sad to see this grow come to an end at the same time. Got a 2nd alaskan purp thas goin weird in mr. Other then thst all lookin good. Buds comin in everywhere. Bringing out the tent fabric and ladybugs to make sure ee finish strong and disease/mold free 😁. Been waitin on the rain before i bring out the clear plastic but not sure if ill need it this year. Gotta love this michigan weather.

We have made it to the end of Week 6. Conditions in the tent have improved DRAMATICALLY. The heat wave has finally passed and the temperature has finally leveled out. Not only that, the super weird monsoon weather that we were having has also passed and now the humidity is not rising above 60%. This turn for the best is really showing and also fixing the pH problem I had also probably helped a lot. Going to push the PPM a little more this week, between 750-850 The color of the buds is really coming through now, especially in the pineapple express and zkittles. The melonsicle seems to be growing much more like a traditional sativa. I feel it's about a week behind schedule with the rest of the plants. It seems to be on a true 9 or 10 week tract at this point. I think the blue gelato is going to be a bust in terms of yield. It just got heavily over shadowed by the other three plants from the beginning. It has stayed quite small and I am not sure it will yield heavily. Hopefully the smoke is quality and I will be impressed enough with my first Barney's Farm experience to try again.

This will be the second time I start this strain, it’s gone great so far so let’s do it again! Started off with 24 hours in a glass of water then into a paper towel,then once the taproot was about half an inch I transferred her into a coco pellet. Once she’s broken the soil it’ll be into the tent. Day 3 Looks like it’s time to up pot her and get her under the light.

Went fine. Windowsilll until I could see it pop above ground then into the tent on 95% rh -hardening it off 5% RH at a time. UPDATE; WEDNESDAY okay so I tried to fit in my 300w light but obviously it wouldn’t fit and so I thought “hmmm, what have I got about the house I can use?” I had a cob with one of those round pin heatsinks that is 100w but I obviously won’t be using it at the same timings as the main light, it is to boost the main light at certain points; mainly during flowering for a start!

Hello Diary, I apologize right away for the large number of photos, but it is important for me to document as best I can. This week I also photographed on a black background because they are really beautiful plants. So Medusa F1 is incredibly fast, after only four weeks of flowering, the first Medusa F1 is approaching harvest. I checked the trichomes under a microscope and most of them are milky, on the lower branches the ratio is 50/50. So I will wait a few more days, monitor the situation and harvest at the right time. This time I photographed the second Medusa, a really beautiful plant, but it has not yet matured like the first one. Considering the number of photos, I will not describe the appearance too much, therefore the smell, incredible. No other strain has had such an intense and strong smell so far on my small farm, I am very much looking forward to trying this new strain. Watering is more frequent, every three days I water them with almost 4 liters of water per plant. The conditions are excellent, 25 degrees and less than 40% humidity in the air. Here's how it went last week. 09/03/2023 - Day - 44. Watering. I lowered the p.H. at 6.0 and with 7 liters of water, I watered both plants evenly. 12/03/2023 - Day - 47. Watering and checking trichomes with a microscope. I repeated the watering procedure as I did three days earlier. 14/03/2023 - Day - 49. Photography and video. this time, after the grow box, I also photographed the plants on a black background. It was worth every effort. This weekend I also visited Spannabis, a great event and I'm really grateful to have met some new people in the industry and also some great growers. I'll definitely see you next year. A week ago today I did some major defoliation. Somebody had looked at my pictures and said it look like a pile of leaves. She was right. I decided to open things up to let light on more bud sites. I went kind of nuts. But one week later and I think the plants look much better. Light gets down much deeper now. I have two King tuts one white widow and one Obi-Wan Kush. The 2 king Tutts are taking over my room. The white widow is 1/ third less the size. And the Obi-Wan Kush is turning into a runt. It’s hard to keep the king Tutts from shadowing out the other two smaller plants. I’ve tied some branches back with string to open things up some more. I’m starting to get impatient. I know I’ve got five or six weeks left. But I am sitting around the house, with the quarantine in effect. I grossly missjudged my weed consumption And I’m dry and looking at these plants. Come on May 15! That’s my potential target date.
