Welcome to my Sour Strawberry sponsored Barneysfarm seeds run, also sponsored by Spider-Farmer with the SE5000.
Germination Day 0 15th/5th 16:45 put in GOW, will be ran at a very very low % from my new light. As its very hot atm it'll have to be very low, and the light will be very close. The SE5000 will be used for co2 growing, as that is its purpose for the summer grow. As my tent temp exceeds 29c last year hit 32. (Very close to stopping growth all together, but, that's not LVPD the leaf temp if fans are used, on the surface area is hit the temp is a lot lower. Same way if you blow a fan at a light/driver it goes way down. (This is done on a molecular level. Mols are exchanged that are in layers in the environment. And by a constant exchange in these, the surface temp drop, even though the environment around is hot, that's really not the LVPD. So, to curve my massive temp in tent atm, (even with low lights is 26/27c) I'm looking forward to seen how hot this light is. As other bar brands I've used, are very very hot. So, let's see. I'll be doing an UNBOXING when it arrives in a few days.
SE5000 my uses performance 1.282 area coverage. The smaller the number the better even ppfd coverage you have, just use your tent and a ppfd meter to get it if custom or used as rated by light maker.
It'll be used in a 3x3 with a ppfd as low as 1128umol/ppfd (not so low) and as high as 1447umol/ppfd that's a 1.282 level. (1147÷1128=1.282 This is used to give the drop in area of your lights output said chosen surface area coverage used, in this case 3x3) that is an amazing even area coverage. It's the best area output in core flowering area rated in the top 3 rated lights on here. I'll be adding co2 to this powerhouse. It's my 1st run with co2, so I'm not expecting big things. But, its gonna help me learn and to get it right. You need the right tools for the job. And this is spot on. It gives the highest even performance out there.
There'll be no additional lights (no IR/UV) this is a Spider-Farmer co2 test. As IR/UV gives a big benefit to size and quality. So, I'm gonna show the light in it's optimal environment at 100%. In the winter, or non co2 grows I can't see having to leave "80% light setting", and even that's high.

Welcome to my Sour Strawberry(ies) one was meant to be snipped by now. Instead im going to put both in either end of a very large pot and weave them together in a 50cm2 scrog
Veg Days 0-6 0-3 &0-2 Seedling Days a few on smaller pheno. DAYS 9-15 As you can see. Both are in the same pot i cut off my finger badly. So, no hard work is allowed while stitches are in. And uppotting and mixing soil will just be do much work. I'll wait a week but, I will separate them into different pots so they can recover individually making sure each separate needs are met. And once I've a stable balance. I'll put both on either end of a big 50xcm2 pout (bout 30L)
Edit Day 15 and 12
Pheno 1 & 2 both in 2x 1.7L pots.
FLMING'ed both plants after 20hrs of a rough upppot a lot of stress but, they're pushing through. Pheno 1 &2 i removed 1st sets of nodes and pheno 1 i removed the nodes directly underneath the Flming point.
Thanks to my sponsor from Spider-Farmer for the great product. Plants are growing much more of a rapid pace. Its a great light SE5000 im using it at 100% 90% on hot days. And it's great. If it wasn't running co2 to match the ppfd I'd only have it set at 75-80%
Much appreciation to all who viewed, liked &/R commented or just stopped by, either way, thanks. Look forward to seen your diaries.

Days 15-21 Veg Days 8-9 11-12 Pheno 1 & 2 few days apart.
Decided to top again, and again and again. Making a nice few tops. Been such a heavy sativa im not use to growing one. Kinda in new Territory. So many Shoots so close together. I'm gonna have to top them again at some stage. There's just too many and they're too short. They're the tops of what would of been great colas. But, I've a different agenda here. And I need more colas to fill my net. 6 sets from each plant won't cut it. Growth is good and steady this week. (Sadly, same can't be said for her in RT, they're pushing through) updates will come soon. Strong like Sativa Structure. Missing a bit of a stretch at the moment. Think I might throw her into a few days of 12-12 and then flip her back into veg to stretch her nodes to 50cm2 net. The legs of the frame go into the pot. So its moveable. Let's hope I do a decent job. The one that was started in the root riot cube, with the Broken stem. She is the biggest, by a ways I wonder if that's from an early break (HST) in her stem. Will for sure be testing this with clones. Happy with how these past weeks went. This is where the good times end. (For now) mag issues are looming.
Shout out to the Bella from Spider-Farmer & the Rep from Barneysfarm. Much appreciated for the products.
Thanks to all who viewed, liked &/R commented. Look forward to seen your diaries. Either way thanks for dropping by.

Days 22-35 weeks 3-4 off veg Veg Days 12&13 25&26(seedling stage was done in germination week)
Both plants had difficult with a bad PH imbalance that hit my plants across the board. All suffered from 2x Terpinator & Pure Zym PH 4.5 feeds. Lessons learnt you get no 2nd chances growing co2. A light def can be a serious looking one a few hrs later even though fix was applied. Growth can't keep up with uptake. So Foliar sprays I've been using a lot in these grows. It helps with the fixes much quicker. I've started training the plant and moving things to spread it out. I reckon if I flipped her after the stretch I'd fill 60-70% of the net. So, it needs a few more weeks in veg. I have done a lot of fresh toppings. So, they'll need a few weeks of growth and training and fixing to the net. All nodes are in the strip process so it'll help fatten up the stems as if there's too much growth below the main tops and if left late (stripping them late) you'll end up with weak stems, so the stripping needs to be done, and then you need to train your nodes/shoots you want to focus on growing your colas.
Any input is welcome this is my 1st scrog. I used 2 seeds 2 different phenos, 1 is a lot taller, big mistake. Itll take time, lots of training and she's gonna look awful for the next few weeks but, their will be a method to the madness. I'll flip when I see 60/70% of the net filled either by attached to the net or trained so that'll it sit under where the stretch will go when flipped. Giving me 85-95% of coverage. Again, this is my 1st scrog so any input is welcome..
SCROG / DEFOLIATION / LST / NODE STRIPPING
Only started in the 2 week of this update. Through a pro scrog frame over her. As this will be the easiest way to deal with it in my 1m2 tent. It will take up a lot of space for just 2 plants. But, I'm planning on doing a long one, or at least until I get it right so it'll be a proper scrog with an even canopy. I stripped the nodes to premote them to grow some mass i did semi removal of shoots that are deep into the canopy. Didn't wanna do to much stress that and she'll still need a lot of that growth to get her to grow out. Next wk I'll readjust and start pulling her in areas needed. 1 pheno is much shorter. So, I'm thinking I'll just train her so she at least gets right underneath the net, and then when i flip it'll help reach the net. But, them areas will need lots of growth, and I'll have to weave the bugger one abs pull her nodes down and maybe lollipop her a lil more so there'll be an even canopy.
Thanks to my sponsors Bella from Spider-Farmer for the 2023 upgraded SE5000 and to the rep from Barneysfarm for their 22/23 pick of 5 off their new Releases.
Much appreciation to all who stop by to view. And leave their thoughts feedback or whatever. Either way, thanks for stopping by. And look forward to seen your diaries.

Veg Days 29-42 Days 35-38 Days 35-37 49-52 Weeks since sprouted 7.5-8
Plant is pushing along. As with the others she had ph issues. Pushed through. Last week I pult Alga Grow as Plagron suggest it be a week r 2 apart from alga bloom But, she was lacking N. So, I added Raw N in just 150ppm. And the N issue was curved. Kept them both going on everything. Probably could of been flipped last wk. But, I'll do so this week. And weave the nodes and attach them to the net. I'm sure I'll figure it out during the stretch before pre flower. Then once that's over. I just let it grow. And tops that will grow beyond the canopy I'll pull them down. Hoping for a 5-8cm difference in the canopy. I'm gonna to have to cut a lot out that doesn't reach the net. But, I've made sure there's more than enough growth to sustain a full 50cm2 tent full of buds/colas with my limit of a canopy where all colas/bud tops are within 5-8cm. Pref 5 would be ideal. Let's see how the stretch goes. Its been harder than I thought. I defo wouldn't do this again with 2 different phenos. Clones really is a must id of been able to flip 2 weeks had they been the same. There's so much growth that isn't gonna make it, the stems are thick I've been stripping a defol the past 2 weeks and 70% off the nodes are up at the net. So, maybe I'm a bit ahead. You'll see where I'm at in 2 weeks.
Diet
Pult Alga Grow about 10 days ago. And she was threw into shortage of N. So, I gave 150ppm added to tap. And, seems to be doing a great job. Will start of Alga Bloom this week. And maybe I'll add 50 ppm of Raw N into it. I'll see.
Thanks for stopping by, look forward to seen your grows. Either way, good growing.

7-14 DAYS INTO 12/12, ALL PPL TIMES WILL DIFFER, FOR THIS STRAIN IT TAKES UP TO 2 WEEKS BEFORE YOU SEE STIGMATA:
These are the 2 weeks it'll take before you see any pre flowers when you flip to 12-12. This is the key time when your plants will stretch mostly and you'll be able to make your SCROG. Now don't be afraid to get stuck in. It might look like a mess but, as seen above. Make sure you have the shoots under the screen. Start to remove everything below the net (lollipoppoin will be key to having a top heavy net with colas. Gen you'd do it with 1-2 plants from the same mother. I did it with seeds. So I got 2 completely different phenos. But, I was able to keep pheno2 (which stretched at least 1/3rd more under the net by adjusting it. You want to have all your net work done before you see pre flowers (stigmata). Now, when I say this. I mean just by having your pre stretch that will happen before you see pistils evenly as possible. Yes, you will have to come back to the net to adjust here and there. But, if you did most of the work in the 7-14 days into the 12/12 (the pre, pre stretch) yes, there's 2. One before you see any pre flowers. This part is possibly more key to a successful scrog than any other. That and picking the right type of strain. You want a hybrid or something that leans more onto the indica side as high sativa will be a nightmare when they stretch to have an even canopy.
Food/water intake
1.5-2L of water a day. 1 strong 900ppm feed every 4-6 days. In-between power roots, enzyme and sugars were given In-between, as well as Sugar Royal. Normally I'd only have to keep the sub moist every 2-3 days. But, with the heat. The amount of co2/food intake the pot does be pissing out water at the bottom every session with lights on. So after lights out I started giving 1L of water at the end of Lights out. And just as lights came on they got what I mentioned above and the water came behind and kept it from starving from liquids so much. Also, they got their last spray of vita race. Have to say, its an excellent recovery nutrient and helps with IRON which is a key nutrient in the phase of photosynthesis.
As you'll see. All this stretching. Should be tucked under the net. And then the actual pre flower stretch, they'll be the buds that will start dipping their tops above the net, and if you need to level it out, (canopy) you can easily pull the stem down below the net and it'll bring the node back under the net. Remembering to keep all bud no deeper under your net then 5cm or so. So, again lollipoppoing will be key. Any HST, If you want to do, wait until the full pre flower is over. And then HST any nodes you are finding it hard to level out.
You'll see a mess when you 1st tackle it. Don't worry just seen the bounce back and if done right, you'll see an even screen of green. It is true what they say. Once you do a scrog you'll really never want to approach a grow different if your looking for yield, potency and big colas/buds. I used a 50cm2 pro scrog frame. Allowing me to use 1/4 of my tent and it didn't matter about height issues. As the screen moves up and down with how high you've your pot.
As I've actually harvested and smoked this already I'll give you a sneak peak and the end result.
Thanks to all who viewed and stopped by
All my diaries on here are actually finished. So, lots of reviews coming. Like to express my apologies to my sponsors, but, hey life gets in the way. Things had to take a step back. Glad to be back. And I've 11 new hopefuls already under my SF-1000 early veg lamp..

Pre Flower Weeks 1-2
Plant pushed along very nicely. For my 1st scrog attempt doing 2 different seeds i think I did a good job and prepping her. It really is my preferred choice of growing now. The Return for area size is astounding.
They put on about 10cm during there stretch during pre fower. Did have 1 node on the corner grow like by 5cm higher. I pult her node down under the net lowering the node. Then removed leafs from said node slowing down it within the last wk r so of stretching. Getting 2 very similar phenos but one has much more tighter internodes. So, I think I'll have one plant with big colas and the other will have more popcorn buds by going of previous grows at this stage. Think this will be my biggest yield from 1 pot..although there is 2 seeds in the pot. (I was gonna clone one and do 2 of the same, but liken different varies and so on, I want to different phenos) she really is a great strain to scrog.
Work Done the past 2 weeks.
Not so much work done. Just readjustment of the nodes to even out the canopy.
Thanks to Barneysfarm for their sponsorship 2nd Yr in a row with their new Releases. Also, big thanks to Bella and everyone from Spider-Farmer for allowing me to test their SE5000..

Days 70-78
Plant is coming along nicely. Using organics with enzymes in such heat, was a mistake. I should of hooked up air tubes to cool the soil. Still, there will be a big harvest coming, general leaf tucking, node Placement was continued as 1 does over the entire pre flower stage & beyond. Yet she has very sturdy nodes. That will have no issues handling the weight. (This i know cause this grow was completed months ago, lol)
Nutrients
Kept pushing zym etc as long as I can. Although I am going to pull them off as of this week & focus on Minerals Nutrients by Green House Feeding and Atami. PH is 5.8 ph'ed 6.7, PPM is 800
Co2
Has dropped out on me a few times. It goes quick when running an open system with exhausts. Still, not as quick as Expected. Cheap in fairness. 1000 I hold steady. I let off large bursts automatically to 1150 and at 850 it let's a few bursts off, generally every 15mins or so. Temp is like 32c bit high. But RH is perfect 65-70. At this temperature, it would normally be closer to 50, but with co2 evaporation is much more high. Drinks up to 1.8L a day now.
Welcome to my Sour Strawberry scrog diary sponsored by Barneysfarm & Spider-Farmer with Their SE5000 from seed-harvest, using co2 with this extensive heat during 2023 summer.
Weeks 12-15 days 78-105
Plant moving along well. Co2 dropped off a few times. And the plants leaves pigment got burnt really badly. The heat didn't help also. But, for my 1st scrog with 33-35c temps I'm really happy with. Although it doesn't look great. The buds speak for themselves.
Thanks to Spider-Farmer & Barneysfarm for sponsoring me. Appreciate all you dropping by. I do apologise for the very very late updates. This diary will be finished this wk. Make sure to drop a like so I can come visit your diaries. Either way, thanks for stopping by.
Was a real joy having such a good harvest in such harsh conditions. Super Happy with this strain as my 1st scrog she was a good strain to learn from.
Got way over 200g from 2 seeds. Both phenos have their own traits.
Defo gonna run with it again.
