Gold Sativa has been growing really fast. I had to take solution out of buckets right before update here. Was causing over watering issues with roots growing so fast. So providing more air space between basket, and solution. Should help her perk up a little more. This is my first run of photoperiods in DWC. I think I got most major issues resolved. Day 49! Starting to give her just plain water for 2 weeks of flushing. Getting really excited to harvest and then get going on another grow. See you next week.

First week setting up my DWC! Assembled the reservoir and cloner/seedling starter and figured out temperature control while waiting on the seeds to be delivered. June 8th, PM: Started germinating the seeds. Germinated in paper towel for 3 days. June 12, afternoon: Transplanted seedlings to the cloner to start seedling growth June: 16, morning: Transplanted to their final reservoir. June 16th (end of Week 1) is really the start of the grow, as it's when the seedlings finally made it into their res. This week was more a "Week 0".

Northern lights grew great in the Pro-mix medium size hp bag. She had a struggle through the grow. She really wanted more space to root. I did have a salt build up towards the end of vegging. A few minor issues beside that. She did fill the little Spider Farmer tent. She turned out great. Thanks again Pro-mix, Medic Grow, Spider Farmer, and Divine Seeds. This wasca slightly different style grow compared to my usual methods using the Pro-mix. 85 days and absolutely killin it! These blackberry kush autos are absolurely dank! They smell so strong of citrus and diesel!! I cannot wait to try this smoke! I'd say they have another 30 to 35 days to harvest!

This grow went extremely easy, I believe I held off on harvest till week 13 She dried for 7 days around 55-60 RH and 72-75° F could have been better but not the worst Good moisture level still inside the buds been burping the jars and reloading them letting the RH slowly decrease inside the buds This stuff gave me 1 gram of rosin off a 3.5 gram press at 205°f Great returns overall and awesome smell!

added trellis netting this week to start SCROG. two layers close to eachother so I don't have to wait for entire square of growth to tuck under higher growth to keep flat even canopy. also minimizes my need for zip tie and garden ties needinf adjustment. I'm happy with veg growth thus far, and once the screen fills up with more green in a week or two these two ladies will both be ready to flip to flower. waiting on lower nodes to develop a bit more and get best use I can from a big(ish) 315 w LEC light. the girls are getting foliar every 3 or 4 days. using heavy 16 foliar only at the moment but will follow their foliar mix as grow progresses. smell has gotten much heavier, especially in nemo, the more blueberry pheno of the two, looking at the fan leafs I think V is more haze pheno with super thin sativa leaf structure.

Pollen was dropping like crazy as the male flowers got ripe and ready. The females got good and coated and fully pollinated. I harvested the males to collect and preserve the pollen. Some dried and I veiled it up. But the bulk majority is still drying up. I left just the bottom portion of the male kicking for some extra pollen well the females throw off. The diary will now begin to focus on the pollinated females. The journey to beans is well under way! Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

The canvas can do miracles, just you wait and see

I came to the conclusion that my issues all stem from the fact that I was doing two things wrong with my watering: 1. Too much (duh) 2. Too fast! I was using a watering can and it is talked about time and time again to use a hand sprayer to ensure even distribution and slow release. It is very challenging with a no till method because I’m impatient and I need to remember that I’m nurturing the living soil, not the plant and this method is far different from my outdoor and hydroponic experience. This weeks schedule looked like this: 12/27: Water and 1/4cup of kashi per plant top dressed 12/28: Nothing 12/29: Nothing 12/30: Water 12/31: Essential Oil foliar spray (ginger, eucalyptus, peppermint, bronners soap) 1/1: Nothing 1/2: Water/Aloe

During the harvest I've collected lot of trims. I think this genetic will be great for extractions. I've dried all the buds in the tent at 50%rh, 23°C with indirect ventilation for three weeks.
