Week 12

Hello. This is the end of week 4 and the beginning of week 5 of flowering. Things are going good this week. I see a few yellow leaves on the bottom which is normal. It smells like sweet candied mango in here. Wonderful or should I say Delicious!! I am seeing some small, Thrips signs, on a few leaves, but nothing to worry about. They are over their trimming/pruning up stress now and are bulking up. I see the resin is in full production now. They are getting small amounts of food each day from the hydroponic system. And I hand watered with rain water yesterday. Each plant got 2 gallons. The reservoir lasts 6 days and 7 if I add the dehumidifier water to the reservoir daily. Easy Peasy. I read this article on hypochlorous acid and wanted to make my own rather than buy stuff to kill pests and handle fungus. I now have something I can whip up in 1 hour that can handle most problems I deal with inside and outside. The article said to use it at 1/2 strength inside and I would put plastic over the pots to keep it off the roots. Sounds good. We'll see. Be Great. Chuck.

Here we are at the halfway point, after the first month our photoperiodic plants are multiplying their florets and then going into flowering. Our Test #3 is at 4 florets and growing rapidly we are almost ready for the cut of 8. My plan for photoperiodic plants is to get to 16, wait a few days and go into flowering. 16 florets as I see it is the perfect size for the 11 liter pot. Topping is an extremely delicate moment as regards cutting the florets to split them, we always take care not to damage the new growing branches. Topping is also a delicate moment as regards fertilization because the plant slows down and absolutely does not need all that nitrogen that it would normally need and that the producers recommend in their sheets. So you should arrive with the plant green and in perfect shape at this moment and dose the fertilizer very well for growth. Mine came from a slightly deficient veg because I kept it low fearing this over effect during the topping that I know well and now I'm a bit over. Nothing to worry about, of course, but if you do repeated topping my advice is to use preferred soil or prepare the soil with Monster Bud Mix by Zamnesia or Plagron Super Mix, in short, enrich the soil and start and only add nitrogen if necessary, especially during repeated topping. In any case, everything is under control and I will demonstrate it to you during the flowering phase. Wait for the Uncle BreadandBuds and see what it does to you. Remember the cold temperature makes the girls absorb food much more slowly than in summer so be careful to give the right amount and to dry the plant in maximum 2 days or you risk imbalances. Alright guys, now we're up to date I didn't write that much before because I wanted to get here first. Actual date Feb 10th They're looking good No nutrient burnt so far 24/0 Schedule Watering every 2 days but continue to spray on them like 2 liters everyday to increase humidity lvl to optimal condition Temp is OK Wish it was better but have to repair A/C Anyways bout the girl This gorilla girl XL is slow but developing good, taking her time to grow while it's fully LST, she's redirecting her energy to the other stems and leaves plus main trunk and slowly continues to grow its main stem We're already on 1900PPM We've been giving nutes from the very beginning plus bloom to make sure she gets loaded, but certainly lil bit not to mess up too much with her so we already on 1300ppm bloom stuff 😏 Want to get big yield let's see if we as much as we want

Well as you can see I'm playing with these ladies a lot now ..They are both on week 7 the smaller CBD was just put into a bigger pot and will be stretched out a bit then left to reach right up for the sky not looking for big gains with this one but we shall see.. The blue cheese she is my baby and living the good life .. she has been trained nicely and will be left to go straight up as well as with in reason I do have neighbours .. The team at Dinafem were my first plants to ever run and I've been running them ever since love the genetics so much

Start of week 8,flowering, looking for amber trickomes,took off a branch at day 52, trickomes,were mostly milky some clear. I want to know the sweet spot for this girl if you know what I mean. I will post other pics of early cut latter. Also I switched to blue spectrum light only, supposedly it gets more UV light and packs on more resin(higher T H C ) ,Not that it needs more, but in the name of science I am willing to put in the extra effort. 🔎😎

this is my first time transplanting from hydro to soil due to room/spacing issues, and let me tell you, this is NOT an easy task, and should be avoided at all costs, especially the bigger the plant. it almost seems impossible to remove all the clay pebbles without damaging some of those 2-3week old baby roots around those pebbles. i gently picked out as many clay pebbles as i could with my hand and then had to cut the plastic net pot to completely free up those roots without shocking the plant too much. the transplant was a success into soil 5gal, although I expected worse, and am expecting to be a few weeks behind to let her system reset/build. to make matters worse, its been VERY HOT in the midwest (90-100f). and here we go, later that same week, i accidentally left her overnight, and into the morning sun on a 100f day. as you can see from her burn marks, she clearly wasn’t able to defend herself against that type of extreme heat yet, and i was blessed to catch her before the afternoon heat, otherwise she’d be toast, lol. just a few of the upper leaves turned crispy. i know she wasn’t happy so i put her under more gentle conditions, now let’s see how she comes back

the cold has arrived and it shows!! what a nice progression towards purple/orange colors!! I absolutely love those nuances. had a little check on the trichomes, we are almost there, the brownish/milky ones are still few against the transparent ones, but in a matter of a few days I hope they are gonna balance. i wanna exploit those last sunny days, then the average temperature is gonna be too much cold, making impossible all the biology process, or at least too slow to be appreciated. So next update is gonna be the cut, early in the morning.

In der zweiten Blütewoche läuft alles ohne Probleme. Die Pflanzen zeigen weiterhin gesundes Wachstum und reagieren sehr gut auf die Bedingungen. Wir haben langsam begonnen, die Nährstoffzufuhr auf Blüte-Dünger umzustellen, um die Entwicklung optimal zu unterstützen. Gleichzeitig wurde die Lichtleistung schrittweise von 50 % auf 75 % erhöht, um den Pflanzen mehr Energie für die Blüte zu geben. Zudem wurde eine leichte Entlaubung durchgeführt, um die Luftzirkulation zu verbessern und den Fokus der Pflanze auf die Blütenbildung zu lenken. Alles in allem verläuft die zweite Woche der Blütephase sehr vielversprechend.

Some of you may have wondered: Why do I use CO2 at average 950 ppfd μmol/m2/s (moral flow)? The answer is quite simple. Because of lack of space in some regions of my cultivation area, I simply cannot keep the ideal distance to my Sanlight high-performance lamp, due to some height growth of various strains. And so some of the main colas have ppfd values of 1250 μmol/m2/s and even more... So this is how I manage to achieve and compensate for such high radiation levels even with a CO 2 balance. And I have to say, my strategy to avoid various light stress symptoms works just fabulously. In combination with CO 2 implementation, my babies are simply unbeatably insensitive to light. Thats it! Beginning of 3rd week flowering: Again feeding my babies by 36 hours fermented potions of Bio Tabs Kompost Tea PK-Booster (15 g pro Liter) and added: 5ml Orgatrex/Liter 1 Spoon of Bactrex 1 Spoon of Mycotrex 1 Spoon of Mycco-Vital 1 Spoon of Dynomyco A little tip for those who are interested in small modifications that have a big difference or influence - on the result - effect - beauty - health - taste! Before adding microorganisms or beneficial bacteria or Mycorrizae and Trichodermas, please use oxygen-saturated water. On the one hand, unwanted chlorine gases evaporate and the small world of the microbiome becomes even faster and more rewarding in compost tea to sprout. Last but not least for this week, I would like to introduce my reasons, why I prefer growing biologically and sustainably. First of all, it’s something which suits very well in these times/days we are living now. Sustainability is a big need and task for our planet. 🌎 Nature means life. Our home, the air we breathe and everything that surrounds us. Not just today. Hopefully tomorrow as well. Maybe I'm starting to protect our environment on a small scale, but maybe I can also make a big difference at all. If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change... I thought about what’s the difference, between Mineral Feeding and Super Soil Feeding. It’s very easy. Biologically Growing is a similar process than the natural soil activities out there in the lap of nature’s. So plants has to work and interact with the microorganisms and microbiomic communities in the soil. So the plants will never get lazy like the lazy ones of mineral feeding growers. If you grow biologically, you will feed the soil first and the microorganisms will support every parameter next to your plant conditions. And that will generate an unbelievable spectrum of Terpenes and Trichomes you will never forget. It’s the same comparison, when you daily visit McDonalds and you eat only fast food. Addendum for Day 53: At the moment we unfortunately have another winter onset here in Germany. This means that I am forced to take additional heating measures due to structural facts in order to be able to keep the temperatures constant. After all, just tonight the thermometer climbs again to -1 degree Celsius. In addition, my exhaust air system runs out of my bedroom terrace and I therefore grow winter and summer with the patio door open. Well, sometimes I experience real weather-related challenges. But all in all, no problem... "Where there's a will, there's a way." Addendum to pouring out the fermented PK tea: I always administer half a liter of lukewarm aerated water with 3.5 ml of cannazyme per liter to each plant. This means that the "root machine" is not supplied with supplies unprepared and the nutrient solution can thus also be better distributed in the soil. Since I also work with cloth shoes, I spray them evenly moistened everywhere with water that is also warm before pouring them out from the outside. This has the advantage that the moisture stays where it should: in the pot! ... I did the math today ;-) We are still in week 7 until this Friday. And week 8 starts on Friday! OMG... still so much time yeahh! Today my Fast Buds Sour Jealousy and Sweet Seeds Big Devil and Dark Devil Automatics arrived. I'm looking forward to it. This time Fast Buds next Time Sweet Seeds. Love them too. Very beautiful genetics. Today a review video of the beginning of week 3. At the time of the pictures, I had minor signs of nitrogen excess. (Light peaks first at the crown of the roof and then slightly continuing to the middle section.) I then painstakingly racked my brains as to why this could be. I found that very slight dry spots had formed and therefore the root found small accumulations of nitrogen that caused its problems. But then, when I carefully homogeneously checked the moisture content in the substrate, the problem evaporated again. However, they had not shown any loss of growth rate during this time. Nevertheless, they developed as expected. They Strawnanas had no problem with that. In the end, I always have a hard time killing them. But I guess that's the way things go. We live and die.
