🌾 Harvest Day — The Grand Finale of the Eternity Grow Cup 🌾 Days 72–73 | Trimmed on May 25 | Posted May 27 What a journey this has been — and what a finish. These five incredible Runtz phenos have now completed their cycle, and today, we celebrate the final stage of their flowering life: the Harvest. We sent the girls into darkness on Day 70, allowing them a full 48+ hours of rest and reset. The dark period was just a bit longer, truth be told, because time… it flows as it must. This extended dark time helps increase resin production, allowing the trichomes to mature just that final bit more. On Days 72 and 73, we harvested them with care and reverence. Each plant was hung upside down, whole, in a perfectly controlled 60% humidity environment for 13 full days. Before hanging, we gently removed only the fan leaves, leaving all trichome-rich sugar leaves in place — a natural armor for the delicate resin glands during drying. Why do we do this? Because those sugar leaves help protect the essential oils and terpenes, preserving potency, flavor, and aroma for the smoothest experience later on. 🌿 The Dry Room & The Trichome Guardians Throughout the drying, we used a moisture meter to monitor the moisture content in the stems. Once it dropped to around 12–13%, we knew it was time. This tool is a simple but game-changing ally in ensuring a perfect dry — not too fast, not too slow. We then trimmed everything by hand over a 6.5-hour focused session. Armed with trim bins and good energy, we collected an abundance of glistening trichome heads in the process — a golden bonus from these resin-packed beauties. The leaves themselves told a story: deep purples, near-black shades, autumn fades and metallic tones — just stunning. Each girl was trimmed in order: #5 → #4 → #3 → #2 → #1, revealing dense, chunky buds all the way from top to bottom. Not a single pop-corn bud among them — only rock-solid nugs, heavyweight champions in every sense. 📦 Cure Begins – Grove Bags & Glass Jars Once trimmed, the buds were tucked carefully into Grove Bags and glass jars, each stabilized at around 61% RH. And this time, I wanted to honor them too. When we unpotted the plants after harvest, we were met with massive, dense root systems, completely filling the Autopot trays. These roots were vibrant, white and healthy, looking like noodles in a thick herbal soup — a true sign of vitality. Dear diary, Week 4 almost done, but posting a day in advance as I will need help from the community! Something terrible has happened, and I am not sure what, so let’s jump into it. 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀 ⏰ Day 25: Away from home so the flatmate is feeding them from the premixed bucket. ⏰ Day 26: Back home! As they have doubled in size I am transplanting up from 3liter to 20liter airpots. The 75/25 coco to perlite mix was first run with 1.23ms 5.8ph calmag water followed by 1.33ms 5.8ph nutes before transplanting over. Light was about 305 so also upped it to 320-330ppfd. ⏰ Day 27: Feed the girls at 1.36ms and 6.0ph. Today was also the day where the mainlining begins! This was done by topping above the 3rd node, removing any growth below the 3rd and tying them down to start the manfold. Aiming for 8 or 16 tops for each plant depending on how the grow. ⏰ Day 28: Feeding at 1.36ms 5.8ph and adjusted ties. ⏰ Day 29: Checked in on them in the morning before lights off, and something is very wrong. All the older leaves show all kinds of issues like curling, brown and yellow spots, drooping etc. Might just be from the chock of mainlining and the lights being to strong so lowered them to 230ppfd. Later when lights turned on again, their state has not deteriorated during light off, so I’m fairly sure it is light related. But to be sure I also gave the girls 2 liter each of feed to make sure there are no dryspots, 1.36ms 6.0ph. ⏰ Day 30: I was away all day so they were watered by flatmate with 1.35ms 6ph. When I came home later in the night the spots and yellowing is still happening on the older leaves but much slower than before. I also checked runoff and it’s fine at 1.46ms and 6.0ph. ⏰ Day 30: Gave a feeding of 1.46ms 6.3ph in were I increased A and B nutes to 2.5ml/l from 2.0 and calmag to 1.5ml/l from 1.3. Someone suggested that it might be magnesium deficiency so that is why I changed the ratios and increased the EC a bit. Lastly I also gave a foliar spray of calmag water at like 12ml/l at 6.3ph to see if that helps so we can head into a smoother week 5!

On Day 15 we checked on the ladies and seemed to respond very well to their first feeding of nutrients. When I to check on the on Day 16 the ladies seemed thirsty so they where given 250 ml of water with a 6.0 ph along with a misting, the plants then received another feeding on Day 18 but this time we went up on the nutrients slightly, I then again watered them on Day 20 and they were given the normal 250 ml of water with a 6.0 ph along with a misting. I did notice that the AK-49 strain is a lot smaller than the last time I grew it at this stage of life. Which I thought was weird so I started seeing what was different. I've come to the conclusion that it's how many plants are in the grow space using the light, meaning I need more light for this many plants. I also think that AK-49 #1 & #4 could have been overwatered which goes to show that every plant no matter the strain can have different needs. So I'll be letting them dry out and show signs that they need by being slightly droopy. Well till next time folks Happy growing and Enhance Your Life ......

Welcome back for week 8 of life and the end of week 2 of flower. Busy week for these 3 ladies. In 16 days these girls have tripled in size. I switched to flower at 18 to 19in and 2 of these girls are slightly taller then 4ft. This strain is definitely has not stopped stretching sense the beginning. Topping and lst couldn’t keep them down. I try to keep an even canopy little over 3ft so I can avoid light problems but these girls are going to test my tent space and light. I added a video this week so everyone can see the difference compared to my other plant, which include 2 other royal queen seed strains. I’m couriers to see how buds will form on these girls. Definitely about 4 to 5in in between growth noobs. I don’t expect to see a large yield but that’s definitely my fault for not training a little to keep them more compact. Excited for the last 6 weeks of flower. Sink or swim at this point, but who doesn’t love a good challenge. Stay Tuned!

So I am halfway through my first harvest and I'm starting to feel like I may have been impatient! Would appreciate any advice or constructive criticism from any experienced growers out there! Do you think I harvest the rest of my plant now or leave it a while? Any tips/hints on the best way to maximize bud density? Thanks in advance

Today i chopped her! I didnt notice any new growrh and water intake didn’t change. I dont reallyhave anything to check trichomes in detail but i noticed the smell wasn’t as strong as couple weeks ago. As a first time grower it has been an awesome experience. I made some mistakes but i have learned a lot! I definitely need to do some more training! I chopped her don and hanged the budsites on the scrog net. At first glance the top canopy looks very nice, swollen and compact budsites. Rhe under canopy is less evolved. I assume this is because of the lack of lights. I will for sure have to add some under canopy lighting. The plant was very forgiving for the mistakes i made and she probably could have been chopped earlier. For this reason i cannot give a proper review on the random seed that i got. Once this plant has dried i will be moving my other plant in the box as this one is preparing to go in early flower

This strain really impressed me and cant wait to start one in a 3 gal pot to see her full potential. For only being grown in a 1 gallon pot she produced a whopping 510 grams after being wet trimmed and should pull over a quarter pound once dried. buds smelly very sweet with a hint of some funk

Omfg I have missed a Whole month and those four wrks was kinda hard for me. I don't know how in godz name my ph run off has been 5.5 5.2 5.7 shit like that and it has been showing in the ladies.. So as i have always said I Top one plant which is gina And Trina isn't Top. So that has been the biggest problem trying to fix my PH. So please help but i think i have About three to four weeks left. Imma start giving plan water in two weeks

Very dense buds, the most dense I ever had .... I think .... They are ubersticky and have a super intense sweet smell (that covers the entire house by now 🤭👃) Really happy with this one... Could be one of my best outcomes in a very long time... Could be forever
