Day 92 (September 16th): so I’ve realized a PH issue in the soil… unfortunately it’s too late to make a drastic change, but I’ve lowered the PH in my water to try and level her out until harvest. This would explain my multitude of deficiencies I’ve been having. Still not sure how to better manage soil PH but you can be damn sure I’ll do my research so it won’t happen again. Soil is hard haha. Day 94: starting to see more and more amber trichomes. This will likely be my last week of flower. Should be ready around day 100. Let’s see what happens! Day 97: So I’m starting to think I was wrong… these may have more time than I thought still. I’m definitely okay with that. Hopefully they continue to produce and thicken up.

Finally able to water again this week. Got the humidity down to 55%. They responded very well to the feed, noticed a big change within 24hrs. They're all looking very strong.

5/23/2023 Week 7- Day 1 of Flower (Day 110 overall) (Day 49 of Flower) There was a couple of small super small sucker buds on the lower stocks that needed to be cleaned off but that was it. Just watching them Flower!! 5/24/2023 Week 7- Day 2 of Flower (Day 111 overall) Tucked a few fan leaves below lower buds but didn't see any blatant offenders that needed to be removed. I typically do start my checks in Week 8 but since this is a new strain I decided to go ahead and do a Trichome check just to see what was what.. Just as I thought nothing but clear glassy Trichomes. I will check again in one week.... 5/25/2023 Week 7- Day 3 of Flower (Day 112 overall) Just letting them grow today!! Smell is getting stronger I would say it is a hint of Pine and a heavier fruity smell. 5/26/2023 Week 7- Day 4 of Flower (Day 113 overall) I did Nothing but took some pics and I enjoyed it!!!! I did start to setup my Dry space as well as did a Trichome Check today and the brown tips are coming in nicely. 5/29/2023 Week 7- Day 7 of Flower (Day 116 overall) Found a few baby sucker buds trying to form so I removed them. Other than that I am enjoying watching her mature. I also started my Reverse of the Clone I took 6 weeks ago in Apr from #3. The buds are starting to plump near the end of week 8. I’m just amazed at the whole process!! Starting to understand now what is meant my stacking nicely😎. Still no smell I rubbed the stem and it definitely smelled like weed not like a house plant. But overall no smell from the buds yet. The sugar is developing nicely I think🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Estamos en la primera semana de vegetativo, ya que a la anterior se la conoce como semana de germinación. Las plantas empiezan a mostrar las primeras hojas reales por encima de los cotiledones. Cuidado con que la humedad relativa del aire, no sea demasiado baja, lo ideal sería alrededor de un 65%. En esta etapa solo regamos suavemente con agua cada 5 días aprox.

Esta planta viene de 1 año aproximadamente de cultivo y sigue impresionando como el primer dia, es un aroma que lo quiero tener en mis frascos para momentos especiales.

2/17: I spent a little time rearranging today. I bought some 32" x 14" plastic ventilated storage shelves and cut the legs down on two of them so I have some different-height platforms for the shorties in the garden. I should also be able to easily flush 6 plants in 5 gallon pots, or 9 plants in 3 gallon pots at a time now, that's a win!👈 2/18: I debated whether to feed or not, and settled on watering them with about 1/2 gallon each. including bembe, cal-mag, signal, humic acid, and a little beastie bloomz. The new dehumidifier is pulling about a gallon and a half per day from the air, so I should be able to feed them in a coupe of days. I've reached the ceiling again with my lights and the tall one is still stretching a little bit. I sure hate to have to supercrop her too...my garden is looking so wild and untamed already...😳 2/19: Rainy day outside, so I'm pulling in 99% humidity, plus the pots are still petty saturated, but the new dehumidifier is keeping up. RH is holding at about 45% today.👍 2/20: Day 31 of flower...the taller plant grew another couple of inches overnight! Damnit!😟 After emptying the closet (again) today and supercropping more branches (and some of the same branches again), a semi-solution occurred to me that allowed me to raise the lights another 3-4 inches! Now I'm truly maxxed out... These two plants couldn't be more different. One twisted-leaf 2-footer that started budding up in the first week of flower, and one beautiful 4-footer that's been very slow to flower.. The structure on the taller/sativa-looking plant is very promising, though...many long colas, and stacking up well...👌 I really needed everybody to finish in the same week so I could get my Spring autos going...😶 I'm still hoping that the big one will hurry the fuck up and finish by the EHD(3/11), but it's not looking possible at this point... I took photos and videos of all the plants today since I had to empty the closet and it wasn't a feeding day. 2/21: I fed them today with about 3/4 gallon each including beastie bloomz, tiger bloom, big bloom, signal, bembe, and cal-mag...no grow big this time. 2/22: The tall one grew another inch...i threatened to bind her up like one of Silky_Smooth's plants if she didn't stop growing immediately. If she doesn't start budding up with serious urgency, she's gonna piss me off...my Spring auto grow must not be postponed! 2/23: I ordered some terpinator because I'm not so sure about Signal's efficacy at this point....I'm usually dealing with odors more by now..

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. Dann dieser Geschmack, bisher noch recht frische Knospen, ist wie ein würziges frisches zusammenspiel von sour Creme mit irgendwas scharfen, welcher mit Ananas und floralen Akzenten, Pfefferminze, abgerundet wird. Untermalt von Limetten zitronigen. Die Mischung ist echt geil wenn sie Zusammenspielt. Vor allem, das schmeckt nach Weed! So , die Wirkung: Erstmal, egal was du den ganzen Tag so gemacht hast, danach geht nix mehr. Du merkst sofort, wie dein Körper runterfährt. Biing, wie ein sanfter, doch gut hörbrer, klingen einer Klangschale, wird dein Geist Stoned.. Das dauert ca 7 sec Angenehm, ohne Fahrstuhl Effekt oder sonstige Unannehmlichkeiten. So, du Rauchst, und bist sofort dicht. Sofort!. Die fragt nicht, die macht einfach. ( Immer noch ne Popcorn Knospe) 😳 Das sind die schwächeren. feeding only water for next 2 weeks

I received the clones from An out of province breeder. It reached me after three days of driving on the road with no light. Their future was not certain. I didn’t think I would need that many fans for the clones because they are so tiny, I figured they didn’t need that much maintenance. I was 100% wrong when I’m working with this many plants. I ended up getting mild mildew on top of the soil on the first week because there was barely any air circulation. At this point I didn’t have any Ventilation put up yet. And one fan on the floor. I ended up installing three fans in one room. No issues

Start of week 11, ladies are doing good and continuing to fatten up. Looks like #2 is pretty close to being done. Going to let her run through Wednesday, then check on her trichomes. If we got more amber I’ll begin the 3 day flush and chop her down on Saturday. If I feel she can go longer I won’t start the flush until Saturday/Sunday. Plants #1 and #3 still got another two weeks or so before they’re ready to chop. Day 72, I moved plants #1 and #2 to the front of the tent for easier access. They’ll be the first two done out of the 3 included in this journal. Also cleaned up some of the leaves on them to open up everything to light during these last 1-2 weeks. Still unsure if I’ll begin to flush #2 on Wednesday or wait till the weekend.. Day 74, checked trichomes and we still aren’t quite where we wanna be before I start to flush. I’m in DWC my flush is only about 3 days tops. We will check again start of next week and hopefully she ready. Day 76, checked on #2 she still not quite ready. I will probably let her run through Thursday next week, begin flush then chop on Sunday the 6th.

Weird growth on the leaves of one of my plants. Looks healthy otherwise. White widow is beginning to pop out for life.
