Heeey!! Guess who missed the watering schedule again! 😳 At least my babies recovered fast... but heat where I live is just crazy right now! The average of this week was 30° C (86° F, which is veeery high) but there were some days that I reached 33° C (91° F) 😲 My girl also reached the size of 71cm. Somewhat less than what I was expecting but the buds are getting bigger and more beautiful, so I don't really care right about that. The smell is also getting stronger. Also Matcha isn't going to grow much more but her branches are full of beautiful flowers and I think she might end getting a little more resinous than her sister. Maybe she has a different phenotype? 😮 Her leaves are also darker and "harder" (probably it's the nutrients) if you compare them to Pistachio, maybe that's a sign? (besides her size). Week 1 Flower The twins are finally in flower and looking extremely happy and healthy. They were thrown into flower on day 55 veg (day 0 flower). They we're lollipopped towards the end of the week, on day 6. I also pinch the tops of the main stems of each branch that is growing taller than the rest, to slow it down. This not only allows the other tops to keep up, but it will also thicken the stem and make the branch stronger. Their base nutrients were changed to a 1:1:1 (G:M:B) ratio throughout transition. Silicon is increased while they're stretching, as they are growing at a much faster rate. Cal-Mag and Epsom Salts were also increased slightly, and will be kept at this level until they're stopped later in flower. You can clearly see the difference in structure between these two pheno's, now they're in flower. Unexpectedly, Twin2 hasn't stretched as much as Twin1 in this early stage in stretch, and is sidebranching like mad. 2025 Plagron / Zamnesia Eternity Grow Runtz Auto Week 11 Flower 7 Runtz Automatic is in her last week; March 17 had her wet trim and was put in the dark for 2 days before getting the chop on March 20. Runtz fade and nutrient usage apparent in the leaves combined with a check of her trichomes were an indication of readiness. The older pistils are turning orange brown and water consumption is slowing down. Many leaves were fully yellow and fell off when I touched them. Her leaves look pretty with lime greens, pinky purples in the bud formation. The buds are dense and covered in trichomes supported nicely with her stems. Through the microscope, the trichomes are mostly milky with some amber as well. She was harvested on day 74 from germination. As part of the flushing process, I topped the pot with ice, then watered with ph 6.5-6.7 water for 3 days. Then I put Runtz Auto in the dark for 2 days still in her pot. She will hang to dry in a darkened room. Temps are 71-72and 50% humidity. This week the gals were fed on March 17 & 19. Pics were taken on the 17th. With the majority of trichomes now turned milky with some turning Amber, i have decided to begin a 10 day flush using nothing but ph balanced water. Doing a shorter than normal flush as the plants with deficiencies don't have much nutes to use up.
