Dia 134 y semana 6 de floración,ultimo dia de vida de las plantas. Este año ha sido un poco raro las plantas han crecido como monstruos tuvieron un crecimiento espectacular un tallo muy grande y junto con sus ramas flexibles y muy resistentes. Pero al llegar el engorde de floración no se porque les falto el empujon final para hinchar el cogollo, tiene muy buena pinta , mucha resina y muy fuerte buen olor pero me esperaba mas en la fase final. Cortamos ya que tambien habian orugas y no terminaba de eliminarlas por completo, la semana que viene era entera de lluvias así que decidi cortar un poco mas temprano para poder prevenir cualquier mal mayor, hay mucha gente que le gusta cortar antes de tiempo ya que el efecto es muy diferente, este año probaremos que tal.

Both girls were up-potted into their final pots, one in a 5gal fabric pot and one in a 6.5gal plastic container. I planted them in fresh FFOF with a few handfuls of perlite and stopped feeding (water and 3ml/gal cal-mag only), both girls seem happy and look healthy albeit small for their age...i did a heavy defoliation on the bigger of the 2 plants and will do the same to the "runt" next week... Edit: 5 days after transplant and brown spots have appeared, I believe it to be calcium lockout, possibly a PH drop after switching to a hot grow media..i removed effected leaves, applied a top dressing of dolomite lime (tablespoon each) and watered 1 gallon PH'd to 7.5..will update

Buds are fattening and the smell is a mix of gas, berries and something else funky I cant put my nose on it

Week 4 Veg🌱 Some very selective defoliation this week only removing as little as possible to get as much light to the lower developing bud sites as possible. All 3 females are showing signs that they are starting to transition into the the flowering phase which is pretty cool. It’s been challenging keeping up with the feed requirements when feeding in just coco but all 3 plants seem to be healthy. Continuing to tie down the main stem to help open up the canopy. Hopefully the next week shows some good growth again as they start the stretch phase. Peace ✌️ 🕊️🌱

8/23 Fed 2 gallons of nutes to the garden. I'm planning to increase feeding to three gallons as plants look hungry. Ice cream cake isn't as vibrant as it once was. Still losing leaves but I find that is consistent with others in my area according to the local growers page. The hurricane missed us but the rain and humidity are still a problem. It's not raining (plants were soaked so it rained last night) and rh is still 100%. It's outdoor so what can I do? What I NEED to do is spray BT and something to combat PM. Plants are flowering nicely. It's good to actually have some flowers to look at. The smell is great too. 8/24 Didn't water as it rained last night. Defoliated what was dead. Fog was so thick you could cut it with a knife. Everything is in flower. The little ice cream cake flowers don't look like they like this rain. I don't blame them. I don't remember the last time it didn't rain at night. I noticed more damage on plants or maybe old damage. Either way bud shoots are gone on a few lower limbs. I can't pull up my bags as the are firmly rooted. I checked under the five gallon buckets (which were also somehow firmly rooted) and found a shit ton of earwigs underneath. I killed what I could. I tried spraying a bug with dawn but it didn't kill it or at least didn't kill it right off. I stomped on them and tore open the earth. Logic dictates they are probably under the grow bags as well. I'm going to try Spinosid tonight. I'll look up some other methods as well. If anybody has advice please hit me up. UPDATE: Went back down at 6. Super sunny and humid today. Temp was 92 with humidity about 90%. I couldn't spray. I'll have to wait until tomorrow. Found four more moth leaves on the sick isolated plant. They must like the injured ones better. 8/25 Watered and defoliated what needed it. Buds are growing rapidly. Took pictures but have been unable to upload due to slow internet connection. Hopefully the weather will allow me to spray tonight. 8/26 Watered heavy as it's been in the 90s. Couldn't spray as it was to hot last night. Buds are tightening up. Ran out of LCPT so I need to find an alternative. Now that plants are flowering it's easier to see the damage from the earwigs. No buds where they should have been on some low branches. Not many and hopefully the few that got lollipoped will focus growth on the top. I hope I'm able to make it down late tonight to work. I was worried about my plants flowering late but that might be a blessing in disguise. I've seen lots of people losing plants to bud rot. Thanks for stopping by and please leave any thoughts or advice in the comments. 8/27 UPPED MY FEEDING REGIMEN TO THREE GALLONS AND USED TWO TBSP TIGER BLOOM IN PLACE OF KOOL BLOOM AND USED A WHOLE TBSP KELP FOR THE HEAT. This heat is killing me. Yesterday was over 95f with rh in the 90s. My medication makes the heat harder to bare. Defoliated what needed it. I'm in town looking for a fungicide. Planned to use apple cider vinegar this morning but of course I couldn't find it. Buds still rapidly forming. I'll update later. I picked up potassium bicarbonate and citric acid and have the recipe and ingredients for both diy green cleaner and green cure. Once the sun starts going down I'm going to use the potassium bicarbonate recipe. Bought a bunch of potassium bicarbonate and citric acid. I am now able to make diy versions of both green and green cleaner. I mixed 1tbsp potassium bicarbonate with 1/4 teaspoon dawn and sprayed two gallons on the plants last night. Leaves were yellowing more and traveling upward on the blueberry. Bleeding like nitrogen deficiency. I'll monitor. If plants don't improve I'll need to do a flush and an application of Spinosid. Wanted to take pics but the phone died. 8/28 Thoroughly watered today. I also had to defoliate a ton of yellow leaves on my blueberry's. I'm hoping it's not nutrient lockout. I still have three issues that could be my problem 1) the WPM 2) PISSIBLY ph fluctuation or worse w lockout and 3) earwig or inch 🐛/ moth larvae causing damage. I'm coming out of my funk so hopefully I can fix these issues. Smell is amazing and the buds are really starting to develop. They looked bigger in the evening than they did in the morning. It was over 90° f yesterday and I woke up to 50 this morning. I'm sure these big temp swings don't help much. 8/30 Rained last night but I watered slightly as there wasn't much rain. ADDED TWO MORE I.R. CAMERA'S last night. I feel more secure as the area is also protected with motion sensors and a whole bunch of other stuff I'm not going to mention. Anything bigger than a porcupine and things get bright and loud and signals get sent, roads blocked ECT. Not my first rodeo deep in the Maine woods. The grow will not be left alone and hadn't been for a few weeks. Anyway I lifted a 5 gallon bucket and found more earwigs. It jives with some of the damage I've been seeing. I'm thinking of spraying spinosid instead of BT tonight. At least the buds are starting to fill in. They don't seem to bother those as much. They did bite off a bunch of grow shoots though. Either way I have a few issues to deal with. As long as the weather stays alright until October I should be fine. My ice cream cake is barely flowering and it's HUGE. I have another seed that's in a similar state. Others are further along. We shall see how things go. The little ones could be transported inside at night if necessary.

That's why the beautiful dark shimmer on the leaves :-). The ladies are developing well and have 1 week before I change the time to flowering. Normally I would let it get bigger and train because the tent only has 80x80 and 180 watts are available, so I will switch it over soon enough. This week it was poured twice with 0.8 l each time (for nutrients, see table above). Otherwise everything was cleaned and, as always, everything was checked. 12/05/19# 41 days of flowering

This was an interesting harvest. Everything was going great and the buds/trichomes were still piling on, when suddenly almost overnight plant "C" shifted to about 20% amber trichomes. So I harvested it, and because the other plant wasn't ready yet I decided to try water curing the first one for 7 days. Then at the end of the 7 days, I figured I'd hack down plant "D" and dry them both on the racks in the tent at the same time before moving into jars. The water curing was a huge success! After the first day, the water was cloudy with a slight green tinge. Second day was about the same. Then the water was just a little cloudy each change, no green tinge. Compare it to the diary I just opened around water re-curing some cannabis I bought from the government store, where the water is diarrhea brown :O On day 7 of my water cure, the water was perfectly clear so I decided to hack down plant "D" and get them both drying on racks in the tent together. While water-curing plant "C", I had its trim sitting in a bowl in the freezer. When I hacked down plant "D", I put its trim in the same bowl. After my typical wet-trimming, I hung up Plant "C"'s water-cured buds on the top rack, plant "D"'s buds on the 2nd rack for an old fashioned cure, and random trim from both plants spread out on the bottom 2 racks. The water-cured buds dried within about 24 hours and went into a jar with a 58% humidipack. The buds are SUPER dense and potent! Nice clean high, doesn't kill my throat. The downside is that the taste is really weak and not that great. But everything has pros and cons. Almost no trichome loss in the bucket during the water curing as well -- I was really worried about that! The other buds dried in about 36 hours and went into a jar with a 58% humidipack, where I burped it many times a day for a week. The smell and flavour are much more potent than the water-cured bud and it's a little harsher on my throat, but otherwise I'm not sure there's a detectable difference. However, you can SEE there's a sharp visual difference between the water-cured buds and the jar-cured :) Of course the jar-cured will mature more with time as well. Once the trim was completely dry, I put it in a bag in the deep freezer and dropped it to about -20. I didn't need to use a grinder this way -- I could just mash it all up in the bag with extreme ease! Sifted it through the kief screen, and pressed down 17 grams of lazy-man's hash! After processing the trim through the kief screen, I decarbed in the oven at 200F for 1 hour (this converts THC-A into THC or something to that effect -- if you don't do this, the edibles won't get you very high). I put the trim into a big mason jar and back into the freezer along with my bottle of Everclear. Once they dropped somewhere down around -20, I poured in the Everclear, put the lid on, and shook as hard as I could, as often as I could, for 5 minutes or so. I noticed that as I shook it around, the contents inside would alternate between solid and liquid which was kinda cool :) Shake it one way and it freezes, shake it the other way and it thaws... or something to that effect, anyway. I was able to use a double-coffee-filter to extract about 2 cups of dragon tincture! I threw everything in the coffee filter out -- next time I'm going to do a better job of it as there's a little pile of trichomes that forms at the bottom of the filter which I could put to use. Once I get that down next harvest, I'll have around 99% efficiency milking every last drop out of my harvests! White chocolate is so yummy, as are candy canes... I wanted to combine the two to make some edibles. Looking around for candy cane crush, I decided to check out Amazon. They had the same candy cane crush I was looking at from popular stores, for only a couple dollars more, so I figured sure why not have it delivered. I was planning to get some white Baker's chocolate, but on checkout of the candy cane crush I got a deal for adding on white chocolate Lindt bars for $1.25 a piece LOL! So I bought 10 of those. When the Amazon package arrived, I slowly boiled down 1/2 cup of my dragon tincture in a pot, then used a double-boiler setup to melt down 4 of the Lindt bars in the same pot. Once it was mixed well with the hash oil, I set it aside to cool for about 3 minutes before stirring in 1/8 cup of candy cane crush (plus I ended up adding maybe like a tablespoon more), pouring into a pan lined with parchment paper, and putting in the freezer for 30 minutes. So now I have a nice big chunk of white chocolate candy cane crunch stuff where a piece the size of my thumb gets me super high for like 8+ hours; 17 grams of lazy-man's hash; and 88 grams of bud :) And still enough dragon tincture left over to make 3 more rounds of edibles -- not sure what I'll make next! From now on I'm going to water cure a large portion of all my buds -- not just the ones I grow myself, but ones I buy from the Gummint too!

Eccoci ragazzi alla terza settimana! La pianta sta crescendo ad un ritmo davvero elevato, nn ho mai visto nulla del genere crescere con questa velocità! E anche il colore delle foglie di un verde intenso, è la grandezza totale della pianta sono fenomenali! Sono davvero impressionato, non mi sarei mai aspettato che la coltura in idroponica sia così poderosa e significativamente molto più sviluppata rispetto ad una coltivazione in terra! Me ne avevano parlato molto di questa capacità di crescita così rapida, ma davvero nn sto credendo ai miei occhi! Sto imparando molto grazie anche al manuale di texier, ma sopratutto penso siano i suoi nutrienti a fare gran parte della differenza! Le radici sono davvero ben sviluppate e per adesso non ho mai cambiato l acqua xke mi è sempre sembrato di un ottimo colore, e non noto alcun problema per adesso dal out o di vista radicale, probabilemnte grazie alle basse temperature della soluzione che nn supera i 20 gradi celsius e questo penso sia un grande vantaggio che tende a non far sviluppare funghi o microrganismi maligni per lo sviluppo della pianta! Per adesso sono davvero piacevolmente sorpreso dei risultati che sto ottenendo! Spero di continuare in questa direzione e di avere sempre la giusta conoscenza di questo nuovo tipo di coltivazione così chiamata da William texier "bio - ponica" una giusta terminologia per descrivere qualcosa di coltivato biologico senza uso di pesticidi o altro, e che sia fatta in acqua senza suolo! Garzie anche al sistema di Mars Hydro Dwc che per adesso si sta rivelando un ottimo sistema idroponico! Posso solo dire garzie di far parte della loro famiglia e anche quella di Terra Aquatica, è spero di continuare con questi ottimi risultati! L unico problema del loro sistema è il cambio Dell acqua, che xo penso si aver risolto comprando una pompa che mi aiuti a svuotare completamente la soluzione vecchia e sostituirla con quella nuova.. Woche 4 / Vegi Woche 3 Der Grow: Am Anfang der Woche wurde das erste Mal getoppt. Ziel des toppen war es, 6 neue Haupttriebe zu haben. Da die Triebe der ersten Nodien viel kleiner waren, als die der zweiten, habe ich solange gewartet, bis die Triebe der vierten Nodien, so große Blätter hatten, dass sie nachdem toppen, gleich mit Photosynthese beginnen können. Dann wurde über den vierten Nodien getoppt und die Triebe, samt Blätter, der ersten Nodien entfernt. Die Pflanze hat das toppen gut verkraftet. Ich mache von jeder Woche Zeitrafferaufnahmen und man konnte sehen, dass alle Triebe gleich nach dem toppen weitergewachsen sind. Den Rest der Woche, habe ich die Pflanze, einfach wachsen lassen. Die Triebe haben sich gut entwickelt und die Pflanze ist wie erwartet kompakt geblieben und extrem buschig geworden. Vermutlich werde ich in der nächsten Woche, die 6 Haupttriebe erneut toppen, um auf 12 Haupttriebe zukommen. Dazu aber im nächsten Update mehr. Im letzten Update hatte ich geschrieben, dass ich die Bodenfeuchtigkeit, versuche bei 55% zuhalten. Dies scheint jedoch zu viel zu sein. Nachdem ich die 55% einige Zeit gehalten habe, wurde der Topf, in der Drainageschicht, sehr nass. Ich hatte zwar noch keinen Drain, aber das der Topf in dem Bereich sehr nass war, hat mir gezeigt das sich dort Wasser sammelt. Aber eigentlich sollte der Bereich trocken sein. Deshalb habe ich die Bodenfeuchtigkeit langsam gesenkt und peile jetzt die 50% an. Man konnte auch sehen, dass sich die Blätter im Verlauf des Tages nicht mehr komplett aufgestellt haben. Sondern ehr leicht nach unten hingen. Was für eine beginnende Überwässerung spricht. Mittlerweile ist der Bereich der Drainageschicht, wieder komplett trocken. Den VPD habe ich im laufe der Woche langsam erhöht, bis auf 1,4kpa am Ende der Woche am Tag und auf 1kpa in der Nacht. Diese Werte werde ich jetzt so weiter fahren, bis zur Umstellung auf die Blüte. Der DLI wurde am Anfang der Woche auf 30 erhöht. Let’s see , humidity is an issue . It’s higher than I’d like it to be . I added drip pans & two different miniature forms of dehumidifiers one electronic and the other passive . I need recommendations on affordable dehumidifiers before I run into mold issues . After breaking the apical dominance there was one or two issues but it gave me all the more admiration for the genetics to take a beating and still remain unbothered & WHOLE . A main top was bound too tightly & broke in half trying to pull itself back up . It remained broken and unnoticed for atleast 3 days before I saw the damage and taped it . She is now almost fully scarred over & healed . Vertical growth was decent this week I wouldn’t describe it as fast or explosive. Still watering to activate the dry amendments I can tell they haven’t began taking it up quite yet. Holy shit do they stink when not premixed into the soil before planting ! Just monitoring & trying to get as much dense continuous resin packed bud stacked up in there .

In this week I can easily recognise the positive impact on the growth of moving the plants to the bigger pots, they increased the growth rate so much. #1 is 55cm tall (21+ inches), it still displays 9 pointed leaves above the internode where it started as reported in previous week diary page #2 is 54cm tall (21 inches), it displays couple leaves with 8 points and one or 2 new leaves seems to have 9 as well, I will confirm once they grow more #3 is 34cm tall (13 inches), this is the one that got problem in beginning (read previous page for more details), it is doing its best to recover and get to the same level of the other 2. I see only max 7 pointed leaves so far. Please share with me your thoughts about it, here's a n00b that likes to learn!
