I’m baaaaack!!! Sorry I’ve been away for a while. I’ve been busy getting everything together for the next phase… Welcome to the Dude Garden 2.0! I now have 3 grow areas. Two 2x4 tents (one for clone/veg, another for mothers) and a large 10x12’ish flowering area (its actually larger than that, but I’ll be conservative). The tents are running 300w LED’s and a T5 for the cloning/sprouting station. The flowering area has a 1000w HPS!!! I’m totally psyched to see how the HPS does with flowering for me. From all the research I’ve done It seems to still be undisputed that HPS is the best for flowering (but not so good on the electric bill). I moved all plants from the tents to the new flowering area under HPS. That includes 3 Blackberry’s (FastBuds), NYC Diesel Auto (Barney’s Farm), DinaMed+ and Critical+ (DinaFem), Cream & Cheese CBD (Seedsman) and 3 Cherry Hemp (Elevator Supply Co). You’ll see the first 2 Blackberry’s are getting close to harvest, but looking a bit funky due to the issues they had early on as seedlings. The 3rd is looking much better and will probably yield more than the first 2 combined. I do love the purple and the aroma is insane. Note: The HPS gives much more of a yellow wash on the pics than I was expecting. I tried to color correct the pics the best I could and tried to get to the real colors, It should be pretty close.

This week noticed the plants grow considerably faster, and the roots have shown impressive growth after just one week.

here we go folks another week in. Girls are looking in top condition. x2 stardawgs on one side are sativa dominant and are thankfully set under scrog. Other side is squat and bushier girls (x1 stardawg, x1 Blue dream), figured they don't need Scrog - Blue Dream is either sensitive to Ph fluctuations (less likely) or lacking a bit in Magnesium., So will be increasing cal mag for them she is getting brown rust spots on fan leaves. I will say girls are responding very well to recharge , on every feed I see immediate boos tin canopy. I expect good yield hopefully if all goes well, they are stacking nice !! blueprints for colas 😍 Iv done another big defoliation to girls as well and lolipopped to how I wanted...little bits n bobs never end until girls are finished so... auto pilot mostly from here on. no insects in the room gives me confidence. What’s up this is the very start of week five these plants are huge really filling out the screen good. The grow XL really kicked into high gear. Got tons of tops and nodes poking up. Keep folding everything down under the screen and it’s really getting good results. Nutrients are doing great everything has a really nice color. The DWC plant water got a little high on the PPM for a day towards the end of last week so I started to see a little bit of tipp nute burn butt got the water changed out and everything is looking great again. I topped that plant really good and it’s got a really nice round shape trying to get it to fill the whole end of the tent screen. I’m pretty excited about this plant. This will probably be the last week of veg well I know it will everything’s in pre flower pretty heavy. And they have a really strong smell for being where they’re at in their life cycle which is cool! I’ll update again in a few days thanks for stopping by and as always 🍻

Week 8 and week 3 of flower! The terpenes are making my mouth water and the ladies are fluffier than ever and stacking up nicely. Due to weather changes recently I was able to keep lower over all temperatures and the humidity has increased slightly but it’s right where I want it (50% RH). Purple Lemonade is fading nicely and her colours are becoming more and more vibrant - she has about 2 weeks left. Terps are insane! All the other strains are happy as can be and also showing slight fade on leaves here and there. Very impressed with my Divine Seeds pheno’s and definitely recommend giving their strains a try very strong and easy to grow. Ethos Zweets literally smelling like candy canes. Dutch Passion Colorado cookies definitely giving off hues of a bakery. Overall it was a smooth week and I can’t wait for the smooth smoke! Organics is the easiest way to grow with minimal effort and great results. Shoutout to Green House Feeding Bio Line 😎

welp i pushed them 1 more week and now they are receiving the flower nutrients, i gave these ladies a heavy defoliation last week and as you can tell now it does not even look like a took a leaf off.. will possibly give 1 more like defoliation and then let them all put on the weight, lets see what these ladies are made of 😆

10/24/2022: plants are all healthy. Strawberry Gushers is definitely starting to flower and the Newberry is showing signs of preflower. My little guy Orange Bubblegum is still growing slowly and no signs of flower yet. The Orange Bubblegum still looks healthy, she just grows really slow. Not showing signs of any deficiencies, or over or under watering, so I think it may just be the plant. Since the other two plants are starting to flower, I top dressed with 1/3 cup Gnarly barley, 1/3 cup Craft Blend from BuildASoil, along with about 2 cups(didn't really measure, just scooped a few handfulls) of BuildAFlower. Also added a handful of bokashi on top of that. I then lightly watered the two top dressed plants, since they both received a full watering yesterday. Still doing some light LST and minor defoliation. 10/26/2022: made avtea today using TeaCo Super tea blend. Gave about 1.75 liters to the Strawberry Gushers and Newberry, since they are both starting their stretch. Gave about 1 liter to the Orange Bubblegum, since it is still the smallest. It seems to be about a week behind the other 2 plants even though they were all germinated and planted on the same days. Also raised the lite slightly, since the bigger plants were getting a little more ppfd than I wanted, but i also inceased the intensity of the light to about 80%. Been increasing by a few percent a day and plan to max it at 100% once the final plant starts to flower. The average ppfd is about 600, which is a DLI of about 40. 10/28/2022: watered about 1.5 liters per plant. This time I added Rootwise Bio-Phos, now that 2 out of the 3 plants are in flower. Also, top dressed the Orange Bubblegum. I snapped a branch on the Newberry when trying to super crop a few of the taller branches. Also noticed the Newberry was looking a little droopy today. Not sure if it was a water issue or if I turned up the light too much. I'll monitor to see how it looks later, now that I watered and raised the light a few more inches. Wanted to have a scrog net in by now, but I'm waiting for some 4 way PVC connectors so I can finish building a frame. Always just tied to the tent poles previous grows, but I wanted to try something new. 10/30/2022: watered 2 liters for the Strawberry Gushers and Newberry and 1.5 liters for the Orange Bubblegum. Added BuildASoil Coconut Powder, along with the Rootwise Bio-Phos and ThermX-70. Installed the scrog net as well. It's a little high right now, but I'm hoping the plants will grow into it. I can cut the PVC pipes shorter if I need to. Avg. VPD:1.1 PPFD: 600 DLI: 40

They are getting fatter each day, as you can probably notice one of them is showing real signs of stress with brown spots and dead yellow leafs. I am adding Calmag this week and making sure Ph is set, will most likely only water them and add calmag. I think next week will be the flush and then harvest. Still trying to battle humidity, hopefully I get a dehumidifier this weekend and manage to reduce it a bit. Hopefully no mold -_-
