Mango Kush – Week 2 Flower (Week 6 from Seed) Bloom boosters, high temps, new lights, and a little tribute to nature Grower: Dog Doctor Strain: Mango Kush (Pheno #1 & Pheno #2) Environment: 8Ɨ8 Grow Room Control System: Full TrolMaster ecosystem (Tent-X brain + WCS substrate sensors and more) Lighting: • ThinkGrow Model One • ThinkGrow ICL-300 (x2 inner canopy lights) • Future of Grow Black Series 600W • Lumatek Zeus 465W Compact Pro āø» 🌸 Week 2 Flower – Transition Mode The Mango Kush sisters are looking absolutely stunning, even if this week was busier for me and I only managed a few photos. 🌱 Instead, I recorded a video walkthrough so everyone can see the whole room vibe, happy, lush, and full of energy. Both phenos are pushing beautifully into flower: • Pheno #1: Taller, branchy, already stretching into her flower frame. • Pheno #2: Started later, but catching up fast, morphing gracefully into bloom. The morphology shift is very visible this week, especially with the introduction of new bloom-focused nutrients. āø» šŸ’§ Feeding Update – The New Recipe This week we swapped Start Booster → Top Booster and introduced a few Plagron classics to complement the Aptus base: Water Mix (per liter): • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml • Aptus Top Booster – 1 ml • Plagron Power Buds – 1 ml • Plagron Sugar Royal – 1 ml • Plagron Green Sensation – 1 ml We paused All-in-One Liquid for now, letting the slow-release pellets in the super soil do their work. The idea: less redundancy, more synergy. šŸ’” Experiment in Progress: I’ve used Plagron successfully in the past, but this is my first time weaving their trio (Power Buds, Sugar Royal, Green Sensation) into an Aptus base. It’s improvisation, yes, but that’s where discoveries are made. Let’s see how the Mango Kush girls respond! āø» šŸŒ”ļø Environment – Riding the Highs • Temps: Sometimes peaking at 34°C (šŸŒ¬ļø AC unit on the way soon!) • Humidity: 60–70% at times • VPD: ~1.89 kPa • Soil Moisture: Watering when down to 19–20% • Monitoring: TrolMaster WCS Substrate Sensor → feeding me EC, moisture, and root zone data in real time āš ļø It’s not a ā€œperfectā€ VPD chart this week, but the Mango Kush girls are handling it like champs. Sometimes stress teaches resilience, and these ladies are showing strength. āø» šŸ’” Lighting the Room The canopy is now supported by a serious multi-light orchestra: • ThinkGrow Model One – Main engine, full spectrum power • ThinkGrow ICL-300 – Inner canopy lights bringing energy to lower branches, helping all bud sites shine • Future of Grow Black Series 600W – Supporting spectrum balance • Lumatek Zeus 465W Compact Pro – Newly added, boosting the footprint and canopy penetration Together, this creates an even distribution of photons across the room, minimizing shadow zones and preparing the girls for heavy bloom stacking. āø» 🧠 TrolMaster Ecosystem – Grow Room Brain The Tent-X controller, paired with WCS substrate sensors, has become my right hand: • Live feedback on soil moisture, EC, temp, and RH • Smarter watering decisions (no guessing, just data) • Automation ready → The dream of a fully self-regulating grow room is coming closer For now, I still hand-water, but soon automation will take over. Until then, it’s hands-on love every day. āø» šŸ A Tribute to Bees – Nature’s Pollinators While we manage indoor canopies with LEDs and controllers, let’s not forget the simple magic of nature. Outdoors, it’s the bees that keep the cycle of life moving. One photo I’m sharing this week is of a bee pollinating a flower, a reminder that without them, much of our food (and medicine) would vanish. Bees are not just workers; they are guardians of biodiversity. šŸŒšŸ’› Let’s honor them in every grow, even indoors, where they cannot reach. āø» šŸ”„ Recap So Far – From Seed to Now • Week 0–2: Germination & seedling stage, Aptus Start Booster for early vigor • Week 3–4: Veg growth, branching in Pheno #1, Pheno #2 catching up • Week 5: Flip to flower, stretch begins, PPFD raised to 766 • Week 6 (Now): Morphology shift, bloom boosters added, lights upgraded, temps testing resilience The Mango Kush girls have evolved beautifully every step of the way , two different phenos, one journey, one story. āø» šŸ”® What’s Next • AC installation → stabilize temps into the sweet 26–28°C range • Closer monitoring of Plagron + Aptus synergy → expect denser flowers • Watch for first true pistils and bud formation in Week 3 Flower • More light power on standby as the canopy fills out āø» šŸ“¹ This week’s highlight: A video tour of the full room (since fewer photos this time). šŸ“ø A few shots are included to show just how happy the Mango Kush girls are. 🌱 Thank you everyone for reading, learning, and growing along with us! With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself, and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. šŸ’š Growers love to all šŸ’š P.S.- Why These Plagron Additives? – A Deep Dive I’ve decided to complement the Aptus base with three Plagron boosters. Each one has its own role in the flowering process, and together they form a very balanced support system for the Mango Kush ladies. 🌸 Power Buds (1 ml/L) • Purpose: Early flowering stimulator • What it does: Power Buds encourages the plant to initiate bud development faster. It shortens the ā€œtransition phaseā€ from veg into bloom, helping flowers form sooner and more consistently across the canopy. • Why now: We’re in Week 2 Flower, the exact point where we want to signal the plants: ā€œIt’s time to build flowers.ā€ Power Buds sends that hormonal nudge. āø» šŸÆ Sugar Royal (1 ml/L) • Purpose: Enhances resin, aroma, and stress resistance • What it does: Sugar Royal contains amino acids that stimulate the plant to produce more chlorophyll and secondary metabolites. In plain terms: richer terpene profile, stickier resin, stronger smell, deeper taste. • Extra benefit: It also reduces stress from heat or drought, very useful right now since our temps have been spiking up to 34°C. • Why now: As stretch continues, plants need to stay strong and not waste energy on stress. Sugar Royal helps them thrive despite less-than-ideal VPD. āø» šŸ’Ž Green Sensation (1 ml/L) • Purpose: All-in-one bloom enhancer for the second half of flower • What it does: Green Sensation is a powerful 4-in-1 booster that improves: • Flowering: denser, heavier buds • Resin production: frostier flowers • Nutrient uptake: more efficient feeding • Soil health: stimulates beneficial microbial activity • Why now: Even though it shines brightest in late flower, starting early allows the soil ecosystem and plant metabolism to adapt gradually. By the time we hit peak bloom, the system is fully primed. āø» 🌱 How They Work Together • Power Buds → Kickstarts flower sites • Sugar Royal → Enhances resilience + resin quality • Green Sensation → Boosts density and overall flower performance The trio works like a team of specialists: one accelerates the start, one polishes the quality, and one pushes yield potential. Combined with the Aptus base (Regulator for strength, CalMag Boost for structure, Top Booster for bloom push), it’s a balanced, experimental, but very promising recipe. šŸ’š Growers love to all šŸ’š

Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great weekend. This was a good week for the Purple Punch, she really started to stretch and grew 14 inches in the last 7 days. I did start transitioning her from veg to flower nutrients yesterday. She is now feeding on Silica, Cal Mag, and 50/50 veg and flower nutrients. She has 3 shoots coming off some nodes and only one coming off other nodes. This is the first genetically mutated cannabis plant that I have grown so we will see what happens. The Medic grow light is now running at 100% in F1 Flower mode and I am also integrating the UV/IR bar for approximately 90 minutes per day just before lights off. I will continue to transition her to flower nutrients over the week and by next week at this time all three ladies will be feeding from the same reservoir with Silica, Cal Mag, Maxi Bloom, and Liquid Kool Bloom which is a PK booster. I keep the PH in the reservoir between 5.5 and 6.5 and prefer fluctuations between this range as some nutrients uptake better at different PH's within this range. I will probably do one last light defoliation in the next couple of days and that will be about it other than keeping the reservoir full and in the correct PH range. The tomatoes outside are absolutely loving the runoff from these autos, as that is all they have had to drink since they were about 3 weeks old. Thanks for stopping by, Stay Safe and Blaze On!!! šŸ’Ŗ Website: https://medicgrow.com/ https://growdiaries.com/grower/medicgrowled

From now on I will count the weeks as bloom. The plant keeps growing. I'm excited to see what happens. We're currently down to 390W, not 200W. I'm currently using the Voodoo Juice Plus tablets from Advanced Nutrients. I have the 0.1g version and have now given her half a tablet for flowering. Be curious what awaits us

ENGLISH Week 6 - Transition to Flowering and Initial Challenges The sixth week marked the transition from the vegetative to the flowering phase. Until the weekend, the Terra Vega fertilizer was still used at a ratio of 30 ml per 10 liters of water. On Saturday, the first day of flowering, it became clear that switching to the flowering fertilizer was necessary. Unfortunately, the late transition to the Canna Terra Bloom line caused a slight nutrient deficiency that appeared in the first few days of flowering. This was corrected at the beginning of the first full flowering week by fully switching to Canna Bloom. The pH and EC levels remained stable and optimally adjusted. Temperatures increased slightly but stayed at a comfortable 26 degrees. With the start of the flowering phase, the stretch began, with the plants growing an impressive 2.5 cm per day. During this week, the first lower leaves were removed—a light lollipopping to focus the energy on the upper parts. The removed leaves were dried and even laminated to document the progress of this unique grow. Some smaller branches and leaves were also removed from the lower areas to improve ventilation. However, the main lollipopping will take place in about two to three weeks. Despite the initial deficiency due to the late fertilizer switch, the plants remained overall strong, healthy, and continued to grow beautifully. The transition to the flowering phase was successful, and the plants continued to showcase their impressive potential.

I am feeding with tps one and CalMag oac one time, then it’s back to regular tap water (well water) that comes at 8.5 pH with 156ppm of tds. The feed was approx a pH of 6.5. More importantly is the consistent soil pH which appears fixed at 6.8 I know it’s lazy! However…. I have noticed doing this to reveal to me that the soil pH is very stubborn and not easily changed by the pH of the water alone. Stuff in the water can definitely have an impact. But still, most feed waters I use don’t change the soil ph. I do make sure the pH is within a healthy range for soil, something between 6 and 7 I figure is ideal. I’ve found if there is enough lime in the mix, and as long as I don’t over feed soluble nutes, then the soil pH appears stable and fixed. With enough lime in the mix, I can ultimately arrest the soil pH at 7. It’s really cool. I thought adding too much lime would give me something potentially alkaline, and maybe it will. But I’ve added lots of lime before and still haven’t gotten past 7 pH. Maybe I didn’t add enough to go further? Nevertheless I’m not interested in going past 7. I haven’t seen any issues with the speed of growth watering with 8.5 tap water, surprisingly. As I’ve said the soil pH would read 6.8 before and immediately after watering with the 8.5 tap. So….. I’m thinking the stability of the soil pH is a positive indication that the microbes are not being subjected to pH shifts, or at least nothing substantial. I mean, at the end of the day when things are looking good, I feel like I must have something right.

Welcome back to Colorado Gnome Grown. This week the gnome’s have been busy with the irrigation system. The water is stored in a 5g container and I mix the feed in it and it gets feed every time I water, which is twice a day for 1 minute, or until the plants drip. The plants are setting on a rack so that the water can drain away from the plant and into a tray. The plan is to buy Big Buds the first of the month to keep on hand to finish up in 4 weeks. Cookie Monster is 4in today and Noel is 2in, and both are starting to grow their bud site. Next week I will Top and defoliate for the first time. Well that’s all this time, tune next week for more information on; Colorado Gnome Grown!!!šŸ˜Ž

Setted up this cutting of Skywalker. Having some initial problems with air and humidity. Hopefully is going to rain soon so humidity will rise a bit. Planning to do some LST and ScrOG. I'm helped by a friend because my skills are not good enough yet. Let me know if you liked the sequences! I'm trying to do some timelapse research as well. Raspberry is running the timelapse and compiling the video I'm trying to update every day or two. 😷7/12 Changed water due nutrients deposit. Clean start as the roots have touched the water. EC 1.5 Ph 6.2 😵Ps. light was set with VEG and BLOOM BOTH ON! Lol, hopefully this is the 5th day šŸ˜‚

Loved the strain she was super strong attacked by a cat a cuple of times and she really grow well after that 62cm so yes, I think is strong, she smells like cream and fruis i dry her for 4 days with herbdryer i was fast bit didnt hold the smell , the yield was very good to 34 grams ready for the jars, I took some lower buds and smoke them , the flavor is just how she smells , like cream with fruit tones that come and go wile the cream sensation stays in your mouth, i love this kinda flavors , the effects are active at the beginning with a rush of energy ,but if you stop then relaxing is coming like you want to see a movie and eat a lot ahahha well thats my first impression i know the smell and taste is going to get better with time so for now this is what i can say , what a good strain fast Buds!šŸ’ššŸ‘ŒšŸ»šŸŒ²šŸ‘šŸ»šŸ‘ŠšŸ»
