Great addition to the grow room

Hola a todos, En esta semana 3 de floración la planta sigue engordando sus cogollos purpuras. Ha dejado de crecer para centrar su energía de producir sus flores, que presentan buenos tricomas.

Comecei a semana realizando o treinamento de baixo estresse e uma desfoliação. Nao fiz poda top, não acho que seja adequado para plantas rápidas. VVamos ver como vai ser o resultado . Nao pretendo mais fazer intervenções no crescimento .

Working on day 47, 17 days into flower and one of these GSC what really taken off she's stacking up well. Dealing with some cal mag problem in these as well, did a flush with 4 gals per pot and will amend the soil on the on the next watering after we get a nice dry. Will be using bloom and oystershell flour. One of these ladies had some lst done to her as she was just way to close to the light. Did some defoliation with all the girls in the tent to try and open things up a bit, I know autos but things were pretty crazy and a lot of bud hidden. The intake filter for the hood works very well the glass inside is very clean after 28 days, just gave the outside a quick wipe and good as new. Ive got the temps back down a bit and holding strong at 25, when I checked the tent it was running around 28, highest being 30 at one point not sure how long that went on for but it's all fixed up now. Its a working progress learning indoor growing 2 weeks at a time but hey it is what it is and were having fun. hope you enjoyed.

Los dos fenos tienes cosas en común, pero el dos es sin duda más especial, me gusta más por los terpenos y la cantidad de resina y la calidad de esta. Otra para mi coleccion de madres.

La SF2000 spinge al massimo da qualche giorno e si vede che c’è una bella copertura nella tenda (4x4) cerchiamo di farle stare bene perché le 4 gorilla 🦍 hanno avuto carenze importanti perché ho fatto dei pasticci verso la 4 settimana, speriamo che riescano a riprendere il meglio possibile…le altre tre piante più giovani invece vanno che è una meraviglia 🤩, ora iniziano a mangiare come si deve

Ok, so I forgot to take any pics on week two and holiday time week 3 came up real fast. so we are going to skip over any of the week two details. just watered em and they grew. This week we did a nice little transplant into their final 2gal pots. Fortified with a bunch of amendments and Acti-Sol, everything is listed in the video. Any question just let me know. I don't age my medium at all and I think I should start doing this to avoid some other things, I just find it hard to do it in winter time indoors as soil can be stinky with amendments and I like it to stay in the tent under the carbon filter. Medium I used is 40% coir, 30% perlite, 20% compost, 10% vermiculite and 10% worm castings. Then the amendments are added into that at the rate of 30-60ml per 1Gal of medium. This batch has Gaia 4-4-4, Gaia Insect Frass, Giaia Diatomaceous Earth, Gaia Rock Dust, Acti-Sol Seaweed Meal, Acti-Sol Shrimp/Crab Meal, Acti-Sol 4-3-2, Acti-Sol 4-6-8 and Bokashi. Nice little mix, water it in with a bit of magnesium and microbes dissolved into the water. The bokashi should help break everything down and make a bit of a acidic environment for all the meals and rock dust to become available. Roots looked good, not a dense as some runs but still nice. I feel the soil might be a bit hot so will expect some burnage on them hopefully its nothing to crazy. Will ph down with a mix of citric, malic and ascorbic acids. They are in a rate of something like 50-60%/40-30%/5-10%, its written down in my of my notes just can't find the pad ATM. Also more videos vs anything this week. I like em more but processing them is annoying AF. Side note, my lights timer was on 12/12 not 16/8 so it explains why they went into bloom, switch it back and will top the plants next week one they start to reverse their ways and get comfortable in the new pots. Also got ride of the chive seed start as it was looking sad, plus I got a bunch of European chive varieties in the mail yesterday and want to try them out. see if they really have any different taste and what ones I like better. I'm seeing more amber and all milky tricohmes .. doing this lady as long as I can I've learned so much from this grow and I love this plant the best one in terms of growth and smell .. I'm bias as I love the strain itself . There are purple coming out and the frost is intense can't wait to harvest her in a few weeks or three .cheers

A lot more happening this week! As shown in the pics, and as suspected, I have a manganese deficiency. I've been keeping my pH level at 6.2 in coco, manganese is taken up best by the plant below 6.0 pH. Dropping my ph level to 5.8 pH, and flushing with lower pH, hopefully it will solve the issue over the course of a few days. I made a new frame for a SCROG, with a "custom bend" in the CPVC pipe on both ends. The bend will allow me to take advantage of the slack material in the sides of my 4x4 tent. I'd previously taken 4" out of all the upright poles to shorten the tent so it would fit in the room due to low ceilings, meaning I had extra slack in my tent walls. The bend in the net frame pushes the sides of the tent out to 5 foot wide. My first SCROG net was a 6" mesh from Amazon, immediately knew I wanted a smaller mesh. Next time around I built my own with a 4" mesh and used the 4" for several grows. This time I decided to go with an even smaller, 3" mesh, and already I like it better. I don't really see myself going much smaller than 3" mesh though. It seems to work well, and any smaller and it may be too tight trying to work the plant through the opening sometimes, which if not careful, will damage the plant. I usually use a & gal cloth pot, grow off rules stated we 0had to use a 5 gal pot. Seeing as I only had 7 gal on hand, I was stuck picking up a Root Farm 5 gal cloth pot locally, as you can see, the roots didn't really stay contained, nor did they "air prune", i had to tear them off before installing the net above. On the last day of week 6 I finally got my net installed, and the plant SCROGged. I should have put the net in place a week or two earlier, it would have been easier to manipulate the plant, however the plant will still have a week to recover. I tie the net in place above the plant, and slowly lower it down, as I bend and super crop the main stalk over parallel to the net, and work all the branches underneath and spread them out. As the plant grows I'll continue to push branches back down through the net and moving them out to the next hole. This will greatly increase yields by allowing light to more bud sites, keeping all buds the same height and thus the same distance from the light. small budsites on a vertical branch, will transform into their own cola once the branch is laid on its side. Instead of a Christmas tree type of plant, with one large main cola, and smaller and smaller buds as you move further down the plant, you end up with a bunch of colas that are all close to the same size, and more importantly, the same level of maturity. The SCROG method, combined with super cropping, and defoliation has greatly increased my yields. As the plant is getting worked into the net, I'll defoliate where necessary, ie a huge fan leaf covering bud sites, however for the next several weeks I'll be defoliating so mush every night or two, systematically trimming off all fan leaves, and stripping everything below the net, and any small bud sites that wont produce well. Usually by the time I'm half way through the flower stage there are no big fan leaves left to be found. It helps with light penetration, which results in a higher quality, higher quantity yield, as well as airflow, which will help prevent White Powdery Mildew and other molds etc. Once a fan leaf is 14 days old, its ability to photosynthesize light, starts to degrade. Once it reaches a certain point, the leaf drains more energy from the plant, than it's giving the plant. My best yields have been from heavily defoliated plants, my last grow I couldn't physically defoliate quite as heavily as usual, and I ended up about 25-30% less bud than expected
