Another boring week in flower. One of the indigo childs is fading to yellow. Checked the trichomes and I'm starting to see some ambers. Will probably wait till 7.5 week. The rest of the indigos will probably go 8-8.5 weeks. The medipak needs a lot more time. Not a resinous as I would have liked to see at this point. But I have a feeling that it might be my fault with not providing them proper environment for a sativa. I also suspect there might have been a fungal issue from the medipak tent as one suddenly died. Classic fusarium. We shall see with the others.

Blow Mind Blows My Mind!!!๐Ÿ˜Ž ๐Ÿ‘‰Harvest day came! The plant trichomes were mostly cloudy, still a few clears and very little amber on the calyxโ€™s. If this was the only indicator for this plant I would have kept going until I saw a few less clears. However the plant did not have many fresh calixโ€™ and most of the leaves were fully faded and drying out (referring to the major cola branches). Since itโ€™s a Sativa dominant strain, I wanted the uppy high and so there was no need to risk pushing any further. ๐Ÿ‘‰To do the harvest, I started at the bottom of the plant. I trimmed the secondary branches off and most of those landed on the โ€˜larfโ€™ net, and the major colas got wet weighed and placed on a clothes pin with a letter on it. I logged each bud with its wet weight. Each clothes pinned cola was hung on a drying rack. Some of the lower coals had some decent secondary buds and those were given numbers so they could be jarred with its main cola later. I was not able to access the plant and trim as much of the secondary branches from the main branches. The lower branches have lots of secondary branches and lots of under developed flower. I will categorize it as larf because it is under developed, even if each secondary branch would be the same size and quality as many of the so-called โ€˜contest winnersโ€™ on this site. But I digressโ€ฆThe bud structure wasnโ€™t โ€˜perfectโ€™, oversized calyxโ€™s, longer and slender, with a bit of fox tailing. But oh wow is it frosty! This is the stickiest of any that I have grown so far. My first Gorilla glue lived up to its name as a scissor cloggerโ€ฆthis plant is twice as sticky! The sticky is all over the plant and extends well out onto the sugar leaves and the stems. The lower areas of the plant also had more leaves on it, so it became a frustrating exercise of leaves being trimmed and sticking to my fingers as I plucked them, then switching to the scissors to snip the leaves, which quickly became sticky and required lots of scraping to keep working. I started using two different pairs of scissors, one for leaves and one for the buds. I did get a nice, almost marble sized scissor hash ball. ๐Ÿ‘‰The buds had lots of sugar leaves; these were all frosty as fuck. So I only trimmed off the leaves that stuck out. I didnโ€™t trim them close. The structure of this bud, a looser trim is seemed to be what it should get. I had 18 main colas, and 8 buds from a couple of the lower main colas. There was one and a half net racks with decent sized secondary buds, and two net racks full of โ€˜larfโ€™. I didnโ€™t weigh the larf after a few bunches. After all the buds were trimmed, cataloged and hug on the rack, and aimed a 42โ€ tower fan set about 36โ€ away and turned to a medium speed. Two smaller fans pointed at the round net rack. The grow tent exhaust was cranked to high because the sweet funky stank was pissing my wife offโ€ฆso I knew it was going to be something special! Outside, even with moderate breezes you could smell it outside around the house. After 12 hours I rotated the buds side that faced the fans, after 8 more hours I turned the fan down to its lowest speed. I again rotated the buds and weighed a couple to see the reduction in weight so far. The buds on the net rack were turned every 8 hrs. During this time the outdoor temps were in the 40s and sunny. My HVAC was set to 65f and didnโ€™t run much. After the buds started feeling a little dry on the outside I placed them inside paper lunch sacks and left the tops open. I monitored the buds closely till they felt like they were getting a little drier. At that time I closed the top of the bags. When I did that step I weighed a couple buds and we were at about 38%. Another couple of days like this and I weighed again, we were at about 25-30% weight remaining. Normally I shoot for 20-25%, however the buds felt very dry so I proceeded with the cataloging the weight as I placed into jars. I placed hygrometers in each jar and expected to be leaving the jars open regularly to keep the humidity down. Surprisingly most of the hygrometers were registering below 60% humidity with only a few of the jars needing any airing out. My target humidity is 62%, but since they have all been slightly lower I have held off on putting the humidity packs in. The buds are still a little moist around the middle and Im sure the extreme frosty stickiness is contributing to holding in some moisture. This isnโ€™t a bad thing and I have the humidity low enough that I shouldnโ€™t get any mildew. I put the 62% humidity packs into the jars as I felt that each jar needed it. The final weights do not include the 'larf'. The total of the underdeveloped 'larfy' buds was 142g and would make great hash. I wont be making hash however because I the kief hash is already more that I will consume. ๐Ÿ‘‰I took a small larf branch two weeks early. . I just let it dry out with no care for about 5 days then put into a small jar. Itโ€™s really the best larf Iโ€™ve toked yet. Very sticky, sweet funk aroma, and a nice strong buzz. I sampled some of the main buds after being in the jars a few days and it was significantly stronger! Taking a tiny bit of the scissor hash at two weeks was exponentially stronger! At 6 weeks the flavor is wonderful. Smooth and sweet. The taste at exhale make me smile.

Week 15 of Ms. Hindu - Day 99 ๐Ÿ˜ The week started with trimming the dried stem that broke off and had been drying for 6 days now, see photo. The dry vs. wet difference had me shocked a bit, also my buds seem to be very fluffy, I don't mind, I'm beeming ๐Ÿ˜‡ She has cured now for 2 days and the smell is amazing. We also tried a little each day now and she's brilliant and improving daily, so rewarding ๐Ÿ˜ Day 100 - The chop While preparing her for a last photo shoot in the morning light, I found a little spot of dark mould in the middle of her dense main cola ๐Ÿ˜ฑAfter processing the shock with a strong coffee and a little smoke (of her), I chopped her down. Not all of her, but everything except a little young bud, that still wants to grow. Some bugs fell out, a green little guy (see video) and all sorts of nature. I decided to wash one part of her. Thx to Mrs_Larimar for the inspiration and https://www.docbudsbrix.com/bud-washing for the details. Lots of incredible info on reddit as well. I love science ๐Ÿ˜The other half I will wet trim (also a first, the other bud was dry trimmed) and then let dry in the dry box as well. What a day, pure rollercoaster but smiling and grateful. Thanks to this lovely place as well. ๐Ÿ™ I will add the proper harvest details later and will update with dry weight in hopefully 7-10 days.

Some of you may have wondered: Why do I use CO2 at average 950 ppfd ฮผmol/m2/s (moral flow)? The answer is quite simple. Because of lack of space in some regions of my cultivation area, I simply cannot keep the ideal distance to my Sanlight high-performance lamp, due to some height growth of various strains. And so some of the main colas have ppfd values of 1250 ฮผmol/m2/s and even more... So this is how I manage to achieve and compensate for such high radiation levels even with a CO 2 balance. And I have to say, my strategy to avoid various light stress symptoms works just fabulously. In combination with CO 2 implementation, my babies are simply unbeatably insensitive to light. Thats it! Beginning of 3rd week flowering: Again feeding my babies by 36 hours fermented potions of Bio Tabs Kompost Tea PK-Booster (15 g pro Liter) and added: 5ml Orgatrex/Liter 1 Spoon of Bactrex 1 Spoon of Mycotrex 1 Spoon of Mycco-Vital 1 Spoon of Dynomyco A little tip for those who are interested in small modifications that have a big difference or influence - on the result - effect - beauty - health - taste! Before adding microorganisms or beneficial bacteria or Mycorrizae and Trichodermas, please use oxygen-saturated water. On the one hand, unwanted chlorine gases evaporate and the small world of the microbiome becomes even faster and more rewarding in compost tea to sprout. Last but not least for this week, I would like to introduce my reasons, why I prefer growing biologically and sustainably. First of all, itโ€™s something which suits very well in these times/days we are living now. Sustainability is a big need and task for our planet. ๐ŸŒŽ Nature means life. Our home, the air we breathe and everything that surrounds us. Not just today. Hopefully tomorrow as well. Maybe I'm starting to protect our environment on a small scale, but maybe I can also make a big difference at all. If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change... I thought about whatโ€™s the difference, between Mineral Feeding and Super Soil Feeding. Itโ€™s very easy. Biologically Growing is a similar process than the natural soil activities out there in the lap of natureโ€™s. So plants has to work and interact with the microorganisms and microbiomic communities in the soil. So the plants will never get lazy like the lazy ones of mineral feeding growers. If you grow biologically, you will feed the soil first and the microorganisms will support every parameter next to your plant conditions. And that will generate an unbelievable spectrum of Terpenes and Trichomes you will never forget. Itโ€™s the same comparison, when you daily visit McDonalds and you eat only fast food. How does your body and mind react on this shit for money?!?! May I invite you to think about itโ€ฆ See you next week dear Growmies! Have a nice Weekend and take careโ€ฆ Peace out! Addendum for Day 53: At the moment we unfortunately have another winter onset here in Germany. This means that I am forced to take additional heating measures due to structural facts in order to be able to keep the temperatures constant. After all, just tonight the thermometer climbs again to -1 degree Celsius. In addition, my exhaust air system runs out of my bedroom terrace and I therefore grow winter and summer with the patio door open. Well, sometimes I experience real weather-related challenges. But all in all, no problem... "Where there's a will, there's a way." Addendum to pouring out the fermented PK tea: I always administer half a liter of lukewarm aerated water with 3.5 ml of cannazyme per liter to each plant. This means that the "root machine" is not supplied with supplies unprepared and the nutrient solution can thus also be better distributed in the soil. Since I also work with cloth shoes, I spray them evenly moistened everywhere with water that is also warm before pouring them out from the outside. This has the advantage that the moisture stays where it should: in the pot! ... I did the math today ;-) We are still in week 7 until this Friday. And week 8 starts on Friday! OMG... still so much time yeahh! Today my Fast Buds Sour Jealousy and Sweet Seeds Big Devil and Dark Devil Automatics arrived. I'm looking forward to it. This time Fast Buds next Time Sweet Seeds. Love them too. Very beautiful genetics. Today a review video of the beginning of week 3. At the time of the pictures, I had minor signs of nitrogen excess. (Light peaks first at the crown of the roof and then slightly continuing to the middle section.) I then painstakingly racked my brains as to why this could be. I found that very slight dry spots had formed and therefore the root found small accumulations of nitrogen that caused its problems. But then, when I carefully homogeneously checked the moisture content in the substrate, the problem evaporated again. However, they had not shown any loss of growth rate during this time. Nevertheless, they developed as expected. They Strawnanas had no problem with that. In the end, I always have a hard time killing them. But I guess that's the way things go. We live and die. We come and go. But it's not there yet. ;-) Tomorrow is day 56. Tomorrowโ€™s updating day! Can't wait to see their progress. Have a good time and see you tomorrowโ€ฆ ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ ๐Ÿฝ โ˜ฎ๏ธ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

Not much to say right now, will update in about two weeks with the dry bud weight and the taste/smell/smoke profile. I'm hoping this strain is as tasty and potent as the smell, stickiness presents itself to be. Update June 19, 55 grams on the scale. Very impressed with the hardness and density of the buds. They are pretty sticky too! The smoke is okay, but not great tasting and gets harsh towards the end of the joint. For people that like to make extracts, rosin, etc, this strain might be right up your alley.

โ˜€๏ธ // Day 43 ๐Ÿ Hello my friends, we are approaching the final weeks. If the 9 weeks are a reliable prediction from Compound, then this will take 3 more. But I take all the time ithe plant needs since I am doing a growing break over the summer. It just get's too hot in this region to grow peacefully indoors. So there is no stress for me to finish her quickly to go on. If she needs 10 weeks, that's fine for me. The buds are starting to mature. But I mean just slightly, as you can clearly see that she needs at least 3 more weeks. The frost production is superb, she has no deficiencies and the size of the buds is very satisfactory. The leafs are starting to get a real deep green color just like they're supposed to, if you look at the pictures from Compound. The only thing I can complain about is the smell of the plant. It seems very unspecific. If I rub on the trichomes, I get some freshness and some spicyness, which you could describe as dank & "gassy", but that's basicially how most weed smells at the beginning. I don't know if I just had a really good phenotype of the Jelly Donutz in my last grow but that plant reeked right from the beginning how it was supposed to. The whole box smelled like baked goods, milkshakes and dessert sweetness. I mean, there are still some weeks to go and there still is the cure to go through but I hoped to get at least a hint on what this strain will have to offer. Some real gas, some gelato cream or some biscotti dankness would be appreciated but for now, there just is nothing like that. We'll see how she evolves in the upcoming weeks. The plant got 4.5 L of water today with epsom salt. She is still getting water every 4 days, which is totally fine. I mean in the end, the more she drinks, the more she evolves and the fatter she gets, right? โ˜€๏ธ // Day 47 ๐Ÿ Got the usual 4.5 L of water with epsom salt. Nothing to report, smooth sailing. She drinks a total of 9 L like every week. ๐Ÿ’ฆ Watering: 9 L with pH = 6.3 ๐Ÿ’Š Fertilizer: Epsom Salt ๐Ÿ’ก Light: 700 PPFD at 70%

End of course for this Persian Prince project! Unfortunately, he failed to cut short this flowering a few days in advance following the start of a pest attack. Our two beautiful ones would have certainly enjoyed crunching life with full roots for another week, but prudence forced us to cut a little prematurely. Never mind, our flowers have dried for 10 days and are now ready to begin their maturing period in a jar. Despite these conditions, which are very well known to them, our Persian Princes still present impressive characters: the buds are huge, covered with a thick layer of trichomes and very fragrant. In terms of flavors, cheesy dominates ๐Ÿง€ the two phenos smell strongly of semi-roller/Emmental style hard cheese, definitely the dominant aroma, for one of our two plants it is the only aroma that I am capable of to raise. The other phenotype is more complex, on the salty-cheesy smell a fresher and tangy/lemony smell is superimposed, very pleasant and different from its sister and at the same time linked to it by its common dominant cheesy aroma. For those who would still take a break from sweet/fruity strains and would like to try something more unique, consider this Persian Prince! :) ๐ŸŒฑ @khalifa.genetics ๐Ÿฑ @gaiagreenorganics @greenhousefeeding_worldwide ๐Ÿ’ก @official_marshydro ๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ @acinfinityinc ๐Ÿ„ @bigfootmycorrhizae @promix_cannabis BY ZOUZOUCANNA ON YOUTUBE AND INSTAGRAM

3 Weeks of Growth Daytime temperatures have gone from 15ยฐ to 30ยฐ in just one or two days. But I really canโ€™t complainโ€ฆ because I needed the warmth, too๐Ÿ˜…. Little Pearl is doing very wellโ€ฆ the strong sun has played a part, but Iโ€™m still happy. It is and always will be outdoors, so you just have to deal with the conditions as they come.๐ŸŒŠโ„๏ธโ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŒป๐ŸŒฑ

Well I'm not really sure where to start......Got a lot of work done around the garden this week. Got the first load of boards up on the fence and I've been bracing as I go. Grass all trimmed down and some of the inside of the plants, it was a mosquito magnet in there, wasn't fit to be in, it has gotten better. I gave them what I had left of Gaia Green 4-4-4, which was 3 cups each a little shy of what I wanted to put in so I have another bag coming here very shortly and we will top it up then.So far between everything in the garden right now we have went thru 20kg of 4-4-4, minus 6 cups for the indoor peyote super soil. Also getting some trellis as I thought I had enough from last year but cant seem to find it anywhere. They're getting pretty big now kinda makes me worry a bit, never thought they would be this big..... Purple Punch, #1: 73 inches, #2: 76 inches, #3: 78 inches Orange Sherbert, #1: 76 inches, #2: 72 inches, #3: 69 inches I got some lady bugs today and have released them. I'm hoping to be able to pick up enough boards next time I come home that I can finish closing it in. I won't be closing in the south side, I'm just going to be using the cage, please don't make me regret this...... I would really like to see the stretch set in like NOW but thats not going to happen, maybe next time I'm home we'll start to see flowers, if they don't get wrecked in the mean time, gotta get my wall up!!!!! I'm also going to be setting up an automated curing system this week, I'll have pictures up next week.

the two BPP R3 in soil went into bloom. the dwc are starting to enter bloom slowly as well 36-42 The veg and seedling cycle on the three gallon pot was short and it's gone into bloom with very little stretching. All of the plants look healthy, they look fine, no nutrient. Or PH issues

Day 79: Second Grow We've decided against using additional nutrients and have completely stopped fertilizing. The light cycle has been reduced to 11 hours, and we're already starting to give them cooler water. Starting Monday, I will be watering with ice water to stress the plants further, aiming for higher yield, more terpenes, and increased frost. The adjustment to the light cycle should also help the plants ripen evenly. The lights are hanging about 20 cm above the buds, which are getting thicker every day, soaking up the light intensely. In about a week, most of the plants should be ready for harvest. We plan to stop watering them for about 100 hours before harvest. During this period, I'll place ice cubes on the soil to shock the roots one last time. 48 hours before harvest, I will turn off the lights, giving the plants two days of darkness. After this period, the plants will be cut and hung to dry.
