As always germinated in a glass of water with 1/5th peroxide added. Beans all opened up in about 30 hours. Plugs were hydrated a day beforehand so they were nice and moist but not drenched. I added a little myco's to maybe get a headstart on inoculation and explosive and healthy rootgrowth due to the fungus. Took about 48 hours to break topsoil and the Grape & cream beans seem very vigorous. 14-8-2023 Ive added a vid where you can see 3 grape and cream seedlings where 2 seem to be less happy than the third. Heatstressed mostly. This was due to my light hanging too low and the ppfd seemed a bit much for them so ive adjusted and they seem happier and are folding out flat again. 1 didnt seem phased so for now we'll keep an eye out for that one for cutting purposes but its very early hahah

I used a macro lens from a fish eye kit you can buy for any phone to make that macro video, i highly recommend them it’s so easy to see when i can harvest , these are also very cheap but you do need a steady hand haha. I smoked some smaller buds about a week after harvest & it already tastes amazing almost like a reaalllyy sweet banana haha & the burn is good also i was suprised it was smokeable so fast. Fat banana is one of my favourite strains from now on! I also had 1 Sour Diesel in the tent but i’m still curing that one

Wk 5 was Steady Away, Explosive growth starting, Transplanted one from aero to coco and added Began the Scrog As you may have noticed, I Expanded the garden to give the coco girls some more room. The Dawg in the aero wasn't taking well at all, she hadn't really had a good innings from the beginning. I transplanted her into the coco and Fed her very week nutes..

Was a good harvest wk. Think I pult about 5 others plants that drying week. And she held her smell from the start to the end of curing. No bushwhack smell (hay). And got some decent strong weed. Although not my favourite weed. In its own right for what it is. It is what it says. So, hence the 8 tars.

🌱 Lemon Cherry Gelato Auto — Week 11 From Seed (Week 7 Flower) 12/12 from seed — controlled environment, natural expression ⸻ 🔁 Quick Recap — From Lesson to Balance Last week reminded us of something fundamental: Not every plant finishes the race. One was removed—not as a failure, but as a decision to protect the system. And that decision allowed everything else to continue without compromise. Now, the focus is clear: 👉 Energy goes to the thriving plants 👉 The room breathes better 👉 The system stabilizes And what we’re seeing now… reflects that immediately. ⸻ 🌿 The Garden Now — Structured Power The remaining plants are not just “doing well”— They are locked in. * Buds stacking with intent * Structure holding weight * Leaves rich, deep green * Uniformity across the canopy This is what happens when: environment + root health + light = alignment ⸻ 🌸 Bud Development — From Growth to Density We are now fully in the mass accumulation phase. * Calyxes swelling and pushing outward * Buds tightening and gaining weight * White pistils (hairs) still active → signals ongoing growth ✦ White Hairs (Pistils) Those bright white hairs are not decoration— They are active receptors, still reaching, still building. 👉 As long as they stay white and upright: the plant is still pushing forward ⸻ ✨ Trichomes — Where Quality Is Built Now we enter the most underestimated phase. * Resin heads forming and multiplying * Cannabinoid and terpene production increasing * Surface becoming visibly “frosted” This is not just aesthetics— this is the plant finalizing its chemical profile. ⸻ 🌈 Color & Expression — The Signature of Health This run is speaking clearly through color: * Deep, saturated greens → strong nitrogen balance * Bright pistils → active metabolism * No early fade → engine still running 👉 No stress colors. No confusion. Just clarity in expression. ⸻ 🌿 The Inner Jungle — Controlled Chaos Even with defoliation and lollipopping: The plant keeps building inside itself. That internal jungle: * Holds humidity * Restricts airflow if unmanaged * Can become a risk zone late flower Which is why this stage becomes less about cutting… and more about managing air and space. ⸻ 💨 Airflow — The Invisible Protector This is where your setup shines. * Vortex movement (primary airflow) * Cross ventilation (breaking stagnant pockets) Purpose: → Prevent microclimates → Avoid moisture buildup inside buds → Reduce risk of mold, mildew, bud rot At this stage, airflow is not optional— it’s crop protection. ⸻ 💡 Light Strategy — More Than Just Intensity This is where your grow moves into a different level. ☀️ Top Light (Primary Driver) * Main energy source * Drives photosynthesis and bud development 🔽 Under Canopy Lighting * Supports lower bud sites * Reduces larf * Improves uniformity ⸻ 🔴 Spectrum Control — The Fine Tuning Far Red / Deep Red * Influences plant signaling (end-of-day responses) * Can support flower maturation and stretch control UVA / UVB * Mild stress → increased resin production * Encourages trichome density 👉 Used correctly, these are not “boosters” They are signals. And right now, your plants are clearly responding well. ⸻ 👀 The Grower’s Role — Observation Phase This is that moment. It looks like: → watering → checking → repeating But in reality: 👉 You are reading the plant daily 👉 You are preventing problems before they exist 👉 You are choosing not to interfere And that… is skill. ⸻ 🧠 What This Week Really Is This week is not about action. It’s about: * Awareness * Stability * Patience Because at this stage: Overdoing = damage Understanding = yield + quality ⸻ 🔮 What To Expect Next (Week 8 Flower) ✦ Expect: * Increased bud density * More visible trichome coverage * Pistils slowly transitioning (white → darker tones) * Potential first signs of fade (depending on feeding) ✦ Watch closely: * Internal humidity * Airflow effectiveness * Any early signs of bud rot (especially deep in colas) ⸻ 🤝 Shoutout — From Grower to Growers To everyone following: The OGs, the new ones, the silent watchers, the loud supporters, the skeptics, the learners, the ones trying, failing, improving… To the platform. To the genetics behind this expression. To the environment that allows it. To the sponsors supporting the journey. And to everyone putting in work when nobody is watching. ⸻ Special Mention — Mr. Baggy Out there on assignment. Smoking joints, documenting, observing… probably seeing things we don’t. Real field work. ⸻ 🌱 Final Thought Last week showed what happens when the root system fails. This week shows what happens when everything aligns. Same room. Different outcomes. Because in the end— The plant doesn’t lie. 📡 DELETED @ 1K Please stay tuned.we never quit https://www.youtube.com/@TheDogDoctorOfficial NEW 🙏 Thank you for your patience and continued support. Trust me, you won’t want to miss the next steps, let’s push the boundaries of indoor horticulture together! As always, this is shared for educational purposes, aiming to spread understanding and appreciation for this plant. Let’s celebrate it responsibly and continue to learn and grow together. With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself, and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. DAY 63, the grow box is now fully functional again, new extractor, new handmade softbox, back to 18/6 schedule, max temp=33°C, RH=50% (I know it's a bit high for flowering stage but I check carefully the plants and so far, nothing is wrong) 3 plants are frosty, I can see the trichomes with the microscope so I stopped the nutrients for them and flush with water pH 6,2, do you guys think I'm doing well ? For the 7 others: - 1 hasn't flowered, I keep her but I know shell never give nothing. - 6 are growing and I keep giving nutrients (Biogrow, Biobloom, Topmax and Bioheaven)
