Aug 10: Blueberry Pie F1 Fast is doing great. Three weeks now moving her into the garage which is enough, and now I can just leave her in the yard which is easier and scores another couple hours of sunlight per day. Nice solid start to flowering, and I like the schedule used this year for the force flowering. This strain is delivering on the promise of being big and fast. Bright sunny day and I’ve got the UV lights on. About five hours today with the UV lights at mid-day. Buds are looking really good. The bud development after 3 weeks is amazing. The buds got visibly much fatter just today. Compared to some fast plants in previous years, this one is about 2-3 weeks ahead. Very well suited to short season outdoor growing, but partially due to full darkness in the garage rather than just phyto-forcing with the far red light as I did last year. I’m still using the far red light, but putting them in the garage provides more darkness and helps get strong flowering started. Aug 12: nice fat buds forming quickly, gotta like that. Aug 14: fast, fast, fast. Flowers are progressing quickly. Added three tablespoons of a 50:50 mix of Power Bloom and malted barley. Added as top dressing and then watered in. Aug 16: cool, overcast all day, a bit of rain and smoky so not a nice mid-August day. Rain should help but out some fires in northeast BC, Yukon, and northwest Alberta. maybe. Dli 40. Nice bud forming, loving the Ec 2.2. Gorilla zkittles seems an indica pheno pretty short. Mendocino x animal cookies just amazing sativa phenos. Some weeks to go. Definitely one plant will take longer to mature. So planning to get a small drying tent. Any recommendation?

Day 64 - True to the strain description she's coming on strong. I have a little more of last week's nute mix to go and then all water from here on out. I put her in a ScrOG net to help with the humidity and did minor trimming of the bottom 1/5th. As you can see from the pictures: tons o'frost. Starting to get milky and the rest of the pistils below the top are beginning to get color. Supposedly tomorrow is harvest day but I don't see it. I may let her go to day 70 but I'll be checking every day. She might surprise me.

It’s awesome it likes to be away from the light the one that was off to the side far out performed the one that was directly beneath. Both are nice though and have the same smell, taste and bud structure. After proper drying and curing it honestly can’t be beaten. Fantastic aroma and flavour and a really good strong stone. Calming, relaxing and meditative.😍😍😍😍😍😍

This drought is wild, 300mm rain deficit around the island. Hot, dry, no clouds or rain in sight for the next month. While this is awful for everything else, this gal is living life to the fullest. Irrigation up to 3hr of drip every 5 days and that is it for this week. Still amazed by the water retention with this Hugel. Whats everyones thoughts on defoliation outdoors? I've kept it fairly light this year, loving the shape, and while canopy looks bushy from front, it's quite clean inside. My topping from 2 weeks ago is barely noticeable, this stretch coming into flowering will easily get her past 9 feet. The combined fimming and topping has really helped this shape. Rain at the end of the season is always a problem, smaller buds is more desirable to me. Nearly always use my herb to make FECO for Gummies, so small is better. I've ran a major support pole through the middle, and I end up using string to internally support all the branches to the center post. Gives me much better control over shape and support. I don't have a ton of room for a trellis so this is easier.

April 27 - May 2 This week I didn't think that she would bulk up anymore, but she absolutely did. Fat and sticky. Even the buds under the canopy got fat and super frosty. The only problem is that they are light green because they hardly have any light from no defoliation. The purple color change is crazy. People said it's from the strain and cool temps. Anyway, She's on the last stretch and about to be on her way to graduation. Wish her luck 🤞.

Our Zamnesia photoperiod plants have also started their journey into the magical flowering period, this is the first week. So born on September 1st, on October 1st they went into flowering and these are the photos of the first week, when the ladies begin to understand that they have to do their magic. ---- The general environmental conditions are good, the heat has increased a little more but for the first weeks of flowering it is not a big problem, let's remember to never exceed 27 degrees centigrade in the last 4 weeks to avoid compromising the quality of the flowers. If necessary, open the growbox but never let it exceed 27-30 degrees where 30 is already a lot. The positive thing is that as soon as the lights go out the change is already a little visible and as autumn progresses we will also improve. The humidity is fluctuating but we try to control it with two dehumidifiers when necessary, pushing both of them possibly not into the growbox but directly into the room. (I dehumidify the room and the air in the growbox should be dehumidified too) --- We are at a top secret level here so I can tell you that it is called XXXX Test 2 and we really like how they are growing. They were practically identical so I decided to top one and let it grow like a bush keeping some branches underneath but not in main lining style. The other one is growing straight and beautiful as the sun. Very wide internodal distance, wide plant, definitely to be supported soon. --- Fertilization schedule - The fertilizers are always Plagron and I am following the table that I generated on the site depending on the chosen substrate. Create your own card and follow it, never be presumptuous my friend as I have been in the past, follow the card and look at the plants, not all need the same amount of fertilizer. We have come to the time to give a good dose of iron in the first weeks of flowering, already of race life not sprayed but mixed with fertilizers.
