My First Plant

Week 3: Adapting and Thriving Transplanting to Larger Pots This week, I transplanted the plants into 11-liter fabric pots filled with Plagron coco coir mixed with perlite (70/30). The small pots were already root-bound. It's often said that a plant will stop growing when the taproot reaches the bottom of the pot. Personally, I think this is nonsense, but we'll see. This transplant provides them with more space for root development and better aeration, promoting healthier growth. Growth Observations The plants are showing significant growth, with vibrant green leaves and sturdy stems. The increased light exposure from the greenhouse setup is clearly benefiting them. Their resilience is impressive, and they appear to be adapting well to their environment. Feeding and Watering As the coco mix dries out, I am preparing for their next feeding. Following the Terra Aquatica Tripart feeding chart, I have increased the nutrient solution to an EC of 1.0 mS/cm. This should provide them with the necessary nutrients without the risk of nutrient burn, especially for autoflowering strains. I will not go higher than this concentration to ensure their safety. Improved Weather Conditions The weather has improved significantly, with very little rain and temperatures ranging between 19°C and 22°C for the next few days. This stable weather is ideal for the plants, providing them with consistent conditions to continue their healthy growth. Daily Care Routine My daily routine includes checking the plants in the morning and evening, adjusting the greenhouse openings as needed, and monitoring the moisture level of the coco mix. This consistent care helps me stay on top of any changes and address them promptly. Looking Forward As we progress into the third week, I am excited to see how the plants continue to develop in their new, larger pots with the adjusted nutrient levels. The combination of a controlled environment, balanced nutrition, and diligent care is setting a strong foundation for their growth. Update on 11.06.2024 Today, I fed my plants for the second time this week. During this feeding, I adjusted the nutrient amount for the vegetative phase (2/3 of the recommended amount from Terra Aquatica): CalMag: 2 ml/l (Starting EC before adding nutrients: 0.45 mS/cm) Grow: 1.2 ml/l Bloom: 0.8 ml/l Micro: 0.4 ml/l EC: 1,166 ms/cm (536 ppm PPM-500/TDM) PH: 5,83 The plants were watered with approximately 20% drain. Looking forward to this lady developing, she has given some more height this week after a slow start, FIMed the top on this one to see how she goes, transplanted her to a 12ltr pot as i'm short on space, hopefully this way i can control the size of her a little. Tangie'matic showed me that she was in it for the long haul right from the start. This was my first time topping an autoflower and I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out - but each time she took on stress, she pushed back even stronger. I topped her once at the 5th node, and then used some low stress training to create this beautiful canopy. She really grew like a dream! Partway through flower I had to move my grow tent from my second-floor bedroom to my not quite warm enough basement. I had assumed that the heat from the grow lights would have compensated, but it didn't take me long to realize how wrong I was. This poor plant had her reservoir and atmospheric temperatures dropped with no warning. She held in there while I figured out how to get the environment closer to desirable and less feeling like a frozen tundra. In the mish mash of environmental flux, some of her buds began to foxtail. This was my first time seeing this happen; so despite the fact that it's not desirable, seeing foxtailing happen with my own buds for the first time was actually kind of cool. After the environmental woes were corrected, she stacked even more. Her buds nice and dense with a citrus fragrance complimented by some subtle skunky undertones. Before harvest I changed out her reservoir and gave her a 4 day flush along with 48 hours of darkness. When I opened the tent on harvest day I was punched in the face with a beautiful fragrance of mandarin that instantly lifted the corners of my mouth into a sweet smile of satisfaction. I cut her down and hung her to dry in my climate controlled closet holding a perfect 69.8°F and 55% RH. Six days later her buds were ready for the jars. Her dry buds gave me 8.8oz/250g of quality bud and an additional 2.9oz/82g of popcorn buds. Just being in jars for 24 hours has REALLY brought out even a stronger citrus aroma that is just a true pleasure to take in. Will update with more after the cure and first smoke experience. ✌️💜🌱0000

Added Buddy into the feed halfway through this week. Really impressed with these nutrients so far. All plants look happy, healthy and green.

Ran out of Smart protein end of the first week, so it's plain water from here on out ! C99 chugging along, you can tell that any sort of exposure to the smart protein has lasting effects and the effects are proportional to the amount of smart protein available... it's not a nutrient so no nute burn no lock out ! witness the next generation of plant science ! witness it !! 🚀

Se esta quedando una planta compacta con muchas preflores y bastante resina. Continuo aplicando nutrientes segun recomienda el fabricante.

The only bottled nutrient I use is silica's 5ml per gal every other week. Other then that I use the EM-1 and ferments I make my self to water and spry the plant. I’m mainly relying on what’s already in the soil and what I’ll be top dressing the plants with as they grow and need more food.

Zkittles defo hit stretch this week and started showing more bud sites, smoothie has been as straight forward as always ,.. everything looks good to me, defoliating zkittles is crazy, the rate the leaves grow back I've never seen anything like it but hopefully now will start putting the effort into the bud sites,... roll on next week 👌

Hello Growmies, I'm thrilled to update you on the plant's progress! In the last week, she has beautifully filled out the scrog. Just yesterday, I flipped her into the flowering stage. This means I'll slowly increase her feeding, although I don't plan to go too heavy on the nutrients since she seems to prefer a lighter touch. She's quite particular about her nutrients, requiring me to change the reservoir every five days. If I delay, she shows signs of distress on her leaves, but these issues resolve immediately after I refresh the reservoir. While she's stretching in the preflower stage, I'll continue to guide her growth into the empty areas of the scrog screen. Just been topped and a light but of training g started

Last day of week 5 I been high asf I almost forgot about this lately lol but you see the results

Muy buenas. Ya en la primera semana de vida de esta florcita, ha recibido su primer riego hoy mismo con estimulador de raíz (raziel de hype) veremos como cambia la próxima semana. Con una temperatura entre 23'5/24'5° encendido y 16° apagado con una humedad entre 60/80%. Con el led de 150w al 75% para poder aprovechar bien los lúmenes en sus diferentes fases. Está semana le tocará cambio de maceta por una de 3 litros ya que está en 250 centilitros. Por el momento marcha muy bien con buen color buena forma y asta se le puede ver la capa de glándulas que tiene sobre las hojas.

1/11: Fed today, but had no time for photos. 1/15: Didn't have time to feed today...😕 1/16: Fed everybody...little bit of drought...sorry girls... Uploaded photos- 😍 I put a new 15.0 intensity reptile UVB into the tiny tent, about 14-18" away from the plants. Hopefully that stresses them enough to make Wicked_Stix jealous of all the frost they produce....

Hi@all, it is the end of the fifth week, I started some low-stress training to bend the lower branches towards the light. It worked really well. Three days ago, I topped the "head". I hope she's recovering from it in the next days/week. So far, everything seems to be going well and it’s really enjoyable. 😎🌿 My only concern is the 40x40 cm tent – I think it might be a bit tight in there... Greetings ✌️
