Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Added some cheap organic feed I bought from Wilkinsons a while back. Both plants looking happy, healthy and green. These plants are at the front and to the right in the timelapses.

11/6 Monday I gave them each a gallon of water today late bloom supplements, and the bloom tastic I’m gonna put the other ones in the flower soon so these I’m gonna keep going. The Tricom are all mostly clear so I like to go a little longer. We’ll see how much I can get out of these. The other clones going are doing really well train those today. I have three more clones. I’ll be putting into flower today. 11/7 I turned the light on the light flowering ones from 1:20 to 111. I’m trying to get the temperatures a little lower than the extra light isn’t gonna help. I just have trouble keeping the room cool. I’ll put the other three clones into flower this week and then I have three additional clones from those clones I’m going to put into flower next month, I love taking cuttings and doing that. I’m lucky that I did it because I killed all of my seeds early this year. It’s nice to have back up plants. Afternoon. I ended up having to give them another gallon of water split between the two of them. I did very light supplements cause I just did it, but she was completely dry and they needed all that I was kind of surprised. 11/8 Wednesday she’s been pretty uneventful since watering yesterday. I’m just trying to get her colas nice and big I have three others that are ready to go into flower. I still haven’t taken care of space panda. I just can’t manage more than four or five plants at once so these two are going to nice I’ve already smoked some of it and it’s great and it’s not even cured the buds are really dense that new nutrient really made a big difference I want to go at least as big as I can with the colas. I don’t grow for the trichome color I just do it as long as I can to see how much I can get 11/9 I did some unexpected trimming. I got an ounce and a half wet and there’s stems in there so it’ll probably I don’t know little less than a half. It’s pretty dense. Turned a wattage on the light down from 118 to 103 about 100 is all she need from here on now since I did a lot of trimming today 11/10 trimming the leaves and some buds off and lowering the lights has helped a lot she’s starting to really thicken up on the top. They’re very dense and getting more dense. They seem to be taking up water really well so these last three weeks should see some pretty significant growth. They’re looking great, I have three more to turn to flower and then three more in veg I’m gonna have blackjack growing for a long time. I started this plant back in March and I’ve been able to keep it going and get eight plants from it so from one plant made up for all the other plants and seeds that died that I lost . 11/10 pm I set the timer on the other three clones to 1212 so they will start flowering so I’ll have flowers from these in two months. I’m gonna trim up all the small branches on this one. Maybe I can fit more in there 11/11 I watered them two days in a row earlier in the week so they were still pretty dry today. Not a lot of water uptake the other clones. I just flipped to 1212 I’ll probably start a new diary just with those cause this one’s too hard to do with a different clones in different phases 11/12 Sunday she was very thirsty. I gave them each a gallon of water with all the nutrients and supplements. Keep the light at 100 W and she’s good.

[ Information ] For all grow information, including strain and room details, please see the first week of veg. [ Updates ] (Flower) Day 1 - Light intensity increased to 65%. C02 increased to 1300ppm average. Day temp/humidity 85/70 (1-1.2VPD), night temp/humidity 75/65 (.8-1VPD). Fed a diluted compost tea mixture before lights on. Base water was R/O and tap water mixed lightly with silica and Tribus microbes. Tea was a mixture of Fish Hydrolysate, Bat Guano, Molasses, Fulvic/Humic, Kelp, and Earthworm Castings. 8 gallons of tea were added to 72 gallons of water mixture for an 80gal batch total. The batch was mixed for a half hour before feeding to the room. I did not PH or PPM test the mixture, organic material is hard to get an accurate PPM reading so the numbers are useless to me. I will be working to bring the lights to 100% power over this first week of flower. Day 4 - Light intensity increased daily, currently at 90%. Will raise to full power tomorrow. C02 increased to 1800ppm average. Temp and humidity for day and night are still the same. Lights were raised slightly to maintain 12 inches from canopy height, and a few growth nodes that were above the canopy got topped. Watered today with an 80gal (1.25gal p/pot) mixture, 10% tap 90% r/o water. 6.8 PH, 2.2ec. Foliar sprayed yesterday before lights off with a neem mixture for weekly IPM. Canopies are stretching relatively evenly, though I will be adding in support nets within a few days to help maintain the even spread. I've run this strain before so I'm fairly confident that I know what to expect during these few stretch weeks. Day 7 - Lights have been at 100% since day 5. C02 still 1800-2000ppm on average. Plants are stretching quickly into the lights, I have yet to readjust their height. The best growth usually happens when I do nothing, and I've done almost nothing the past couple days besides enjoy the unusually warm spring weather my area is currently experiencing. Watered today, 100gal (1.5gal p/pot) mixture, <1ec. Mainly an organic feeding for microbe health, also wanted a bit more runoff than normal due to the high ec feeding previously.

High hopes for next week, just bought Biobizz Trypack Indoor and BioBizz ActiVera.

D-37 : Done the third topping, but I broke one of the branch of the most healthy Desfran :( I'm very sad about that so I will try to do a fourth topping to have the good amount of flowers. The others are going well ! D-43 : Everything still ok ! The LST is almost over, and I think I'll turn to flowering mode winthin 10 days max.

Last week's topping turned out to be a FIMing. Not necessarily a bad thing, but I wasn't planning for it. I guess that makes it a true FIM. I tied a branch too tight during LST and it snapped while the plant was growing. Reminder to avoid training too tightly.

This week has been good, pistils started showing up on the 27th. Just watering with ph'd dechlorinated tap water. I bought lst wire but I'm not too sure if I did lst the best way but there are about 6 side branches with tops and 5 more on the way. Im probably going to be switching my 50% veg 20% bloom, to a 50/50 consuming 190 true watts from the wall next week.

This girl is growing like a sword – tall, slender, and cutting through the canopy with style 😅 She's stretched quite a bit, and down below she’s rocking four tiny side shoots that I’m honestly not sure what to think of yet. But hey, I’m letting her do her thing. Stretch seems to be slowing down now, and I'm starting to spot the very first trichomes glistening under the light, always an exciting moment! Let’s see how she continues to shape up in the coming weeks. Staying hopeful!🌱💚

She s growing strong and healthy

Auto Pablo Escobar – Divine Seeds Day 1 above soil 🌱 Sprouted yesterday with a nice strong start. Keeping temperature around 26°C and gentle watering around the stem zone only. Light cycle 18/6 from the first day above ground. Curious to see how Pablo performs under this 3-month run.

Was a wonderful result and would recommend this strain for anyone with basic gardening experience.

Today, day 80. Plant height 120–155 cm. Over just over 2 weeks, the bushes have gained a decent amount of mass. Nutrient concentration — 1050 ppm, room temperature daytime up to 26 °C, nighttime up to 22 °C, CO2 concentration about 1000 ppm, and humidity 40%. The light schedule is 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness. PPFD — 950. Visually, over two weeks the bushes have gained mass excellently, the inflorescences continue to swell very vigorously. The fertilizers at 1050 ppm were already mixed for full flowering with an emphasis on PK. Increased the duration of shots (irrigations). We remind you, friends, of the goals of our grow report: - To check the autoflowering genetics and strains that we've been working on for over 5 years. - To test the new fertilizer composition. - To study the final yield indicators per m² in "classic" mode, using a minimum of training. - To check this cultivation economic model with the ratio of labor costs (man-hours), spent resources and funds. Overall the grow with this girl could of been better but only because I screwed up early on with the LST and snapped two main branches completely off so I’m sure that slowed her down a bit but absolutely amazed how it almost didn’t even bother her. Looking forward to growing this one again soon.
