It was a rough go for me becuase of the heat out here and i made some mistakes. I shop of taken the light controll and dimmer box out of my tent instead of leaving ontop of the light. The tent got way too hot during the days. I had a air cooler but that only brought down the temp by 10 to 15 degrees. The pine apple chunk was a fighter and stayed strong and ive got some decent nuggs out of it all! Tell next time fam

FRIDAY 11/9: I rotated them and increased blue spectra for their 6-hour "nighttime." Added another 25w 15.0 UVB with reflector over them. Lowered all the lights about 2 inches. SATURDAY: Today was their last feeding. I went heavy with the cha ching, terpinator, bembe, and bud candy, and just a little big bloom and tiger bloom, plus calimagic. I'll let them dry out for a couple days and start flushing. SUNDAY: Rotated them and plucked some necrotic stuff. Need a close look at her trichromes, but all three of them are about ready to be flushed. Super stinky!😋 MONDAY: I took some photos and zoomed in on them with my PC..they are definitely ready for flushing. They'll be ready for a big clear drink of water tomorrow.👍 TUESDAY: Today, I douched all three remaining bloomers with a few gallons of ph'd water each and plucked some dead shit. I'm so glad this crop is almost finished! Can't wait to clean out the big tent and get it ready for the new crop. They'll start flowering any day now.. WEDNESDAY: I did nothing really except for taking a few photos and re-positioning the UVB lights a little.

This is the last day of her life. Shes getting a bath of sun with 40c outside. After she will finish in the dark until i harvest her tomorrow Shes trying to get pollinated by throwing some new pistils here and there, but trichomes are cloudy mostly with amber tone. Not a lot of clear one.

SUNSET SHERBET 9/13-21 The transition to my new grow has been chaos. After reading the events of the last week you too will shake your head in disbelief, but honestly friends you can’t make this stuff up. After germination on 8/30 Sunset was transplanted to her final 3 gallon pot on 9/3 because her early true leaves were brown on the ends which I attribute to the ph of the seed medium. I also cleaned and disinfected the AC Infinity 4X4 for this new grow. The Frosted Guava that germinated on the same day did not make the transition. I started her replacement seed on 9/8 followed by germination on 9/12. The babies are starting in the 3x3. Meanwhile, new fans arrived from AC infinity to replace the fans that weren’t working correctly. One fan made clicks when it rotated and the other did not rotate at all. These new models needed a different splitter than what I was using. Ordered that, now wait for the splitter. A splitter from Amazon arrived quickly and I moved the new gals into the 4x4 tent. Since I’m using controller 69, I set the program to seedlings which has high VPD. The following morning, moisture vapor was seeping out of the tent through the zipper as well as the controller port. It was basically raining in the tent with about 1.5 gallons of was on the floor. Clean up on aisle 2. While I was mopping the tent, the lights were flickering on and off. I just knew the electronics were fried. I reported the situation to AC Infinity. Working through each step determined that the lights were not impaired by the moisture. With each step, areas that could have been the issue were eliminated. Aha..The vent motor was burned out. They are sending a replacement. (note: AC Infinity is very responsive and at no charge to me, replaces malfunctioning equipment). My babies are back in the 3x3 until the new vent arrives. But wait! There’s more! While all the issues with the 4x4 were going on Sunset Sherbet and Frosted Guava were in the 3X3. 9/13 The day after Frosted Guava germinated soil, I opened the tent only to find hundreds of bugs on the floor clustered in corners and in puddles (drippings from wet towel). I took the pots outside and flushed them with about 3 gallons of well water. Sprayed the tent with diluted vinegar water, wiped up the bugs then wiped the floors, and walls with alcohol and put the gals back in the 3x3 tent. It’s not over yet. 9/17 open the tent with more bugs on the floor. That did it. Another transplant for both gals into brand new Happy Frog soil without any amendments. I put the gals on crates and put a humidifier in the tent until I move them to the 4x4. Autoflower plants do not like transplanting so I hope they have not suffered. To help alleviate stress, I provided a light feed with Plant juice. 2 TBSP /gal plant Juice Ph to 6.62 PPM 470 Water temp 70 Pics taken 9/18, 9/20 & 9/21 Sunset Sherbet 200ml with extra poured around the rim of pot Frosted Guava 50ml with extra poured around the rim of pot It can only get better from here. Chery Cola is one of my favorites and I just could not fix this one. I canceled this grow and threw most of it away. I vegged wrong and something happened to the dirt. grow a total loss... all the plants from this grow were junk, all from bugs. I had transplant issues, I got Bud Trainer cups for next time. I should have topped her but I didn't she was really really small. I have never grown this strain with any success at all.....I am starting over with a new one.... I fail at every attempt at Banana Purple Punch.... I will get it right next time!! even screwed up Apricot and that is almost impossible.... I think I will re-do this entire grow. The last one turned out beautiful.

Growth has been steady and everything is thriving right now. Might need to get a new dehumidifier soon mine is starting to shit the bed so RH levels are a little high with lights out but the heater keeps them low enough to get by at this point. I removed all the fan leaves on these 2 around day 17 and they didnt skip a beat. I will be removing the fan leaves on everything on day 21, these 2 were flipped a week earlier than the test to remove males. Hope everyone is practicing their social distancing skills. Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song.
