25APR - Starting week 2 I transplanted them into 2 gal pots. Moved everyone into the 5x5 tent. Switching to a 1000w MH light Monday, once that's all set up, I will take pictures of everyone individually. 26APR - was going to move everyone but due to cold weather at night unfortunately I can't right now so they're stuck where they're are for now, but they still have plenty room. 27APR - put a fan in, after work today I will be moving them to a bigger tent and switching their lights to 22/2 for a little bit due to cold weather at night.

All four seeds sprouted at the same time just within hours. Very lucky for direct in soil germination! In this first week I just tried to make them nice and cozy with warms temps and high humidity. Trying to keep watering in check and small dosing so I don't risk overwatering them. Watered about once every two days when top soil was dry with 50/60ml pHed soft water.

Through the 3rd week of stretch now and the plants are doing great. Cottonballs everywhere and the scrog is relatively even with minimal tie backs in only weeks 1&2. Chopped out and lollipopped a bunch of foliage and we’ll prune various fan leaves around the canopy to expose some of the smaller side branch heads. What would a grow be without at least one issue. I hate doing this dtw crap manually - I forgot I left the pump on and accidentally ran like 30L of solution. Flooded out the tent and part of the basement at the same time and thought I had drowned out the plants…. They took it just fine and were looking great by the next morning so minus the cleanup it wasn’t really a bad thing I guess. We’re generally on autopilot while we wait for the buds to fatten and finish. So far - we’re still on track and well on the way to mid-flower phase👌.

Day 79: Second Grow We've decided against using additional nutrients and have completely stopped fertilizing. The light cycle has been reduced to 11 hours, and we're already starting to give them cooler water. Starting Monday, I will be watering with ice water to stress the plants further, aiming for higher yield, more terpenes, and increased frost. The adjustment to the light cycle should also help the plants ripen evenly. The lights are hanging about 20 cm above the buds, which are getting thicker every day, soaking up the light intensely. In about a week, most of the plants should be ready for harvest. We plan to stop watering them for about 100 hours before harvest. During this period, I'll place ice cubes on the soil to shock the roots one last time. 48 hours before harvest, I will turn off the lights, giving the plants two days of darkness. After this period, the plants will be cut and hung to dry.

She is doing great on the transplant! I really don’t like to transplant I would normally grow in straight to the end pot which I like to grown in 5 gallon pots. Temperature in tent is 79-75 during day drop to about 72-69 at night. The RH 62%.

Hello. This is the end of week 8 and the beginning of week 9 of veg. Sure are growing now. The roots are liking the compost they found. Got my hydro system up and running in here. Last year I had some small tips on the hydro leads and was giving 15 minutes of solution per day. I've got different, new tips this year, a lot more open. The landscapers call them 1/2 circle. I had been watering with rainwater and having the runoff run back to the reservoir. Good thing I checked it, it was; 7 ph and 1800 ppm. Adjusted it to 6.2 ph and 1200 ppm. I can give the same amount of solution in 2 minutes now, so my 15 gallon reservoir will last a week. It's not quite enough liquid to have them fully watered, so I feel with my fingers and when dry enough I give a gallon or two of water until it runs out and back into the reservoir (the green hose is tray drainage back to the reservoir). The plants loved it last year and I'll do the same thing. Got the plants spreading out now. I can see the mainlines spreading under the rungs of the table. I got some bamboo from Canadian Tire and filled the space between tables. I might get some more and make something to hold the budding branches up (like the soccer net but with bamboo). Made the first video of this year. You can get a feeling of how it is in here. 😃 I'll try to make one a week to keep you updated. I think that's everything for this week. I added the nutrients I use in the hydro, if you want to see.. Have Fun. Chuck.

Week 5 done and dusted and these girls have started their flowering stage, stoked! This week has been a bit slow growing for them unfortunately, I've been super busy and haven't been tending to them as much as I would have liked. I started the week with an over water and then neglected them for a few days and and they dried right out. They were not looking happy. I then top dressed the girls with Herbi's all natural nutrients, 2.5 tablespoons of bloom and 2.5 of Veg mixed in with 5 tablespoons of Worm castings for each girl and i got back to regular watering. They've sprung back up to life but I can't help but think it's another bit of stunt they didn't need. I've bent this girl over and I'm continuously pulling her head over around the pot, just trying different techniques with each girl. Some light defoliation as well. She's hasn't had the best week but I'm hoping she bounces back soon Hope you had a good week, and thanks for checking in 🙏

Hello Everyone, I didn't felt like updating last week, sorry for that. It was like 25 to 30 degrees celcius for the last time this summer. I enjoyed the beach, bars and restaurants. The plants had a good sunny week as well. Photos for this week are made at the end of week 5 of flowering. 3 of 6 plants are ready for harvest. Somehow it didn't suprised me, the plants stayed small and developed fast. I was thinking about a flowering time of 7 to 8 weeks but those 3 only needed 5. Why? Well they didn't drink that fast anymore, pots stayed heavy for a long time, all the Pistils on the buds started to get brown and the thc was looking milky and the buds are full with it. Gues i will keep flowering the other 3 for 1 or 2 weeks. Lets see how it goes. I did run out of PK 13-14 last week and Green sensation at the end of this week, So a kind of good timing. I will just increase the base nutrients a little bit to compensate it. I know many growers just growing with base nutes and get good harvests as well lol. As long as the 3 remaining plants like to drink their feedings fast and the Pistils stay white, I will keep giving them nutes for another 1-2 weeks. When they start to struggle I will start flushing. Until next week!

8/1 Took another video but didn't upload either videos when I was in town. I'll have to upload later. I have a lot going on and I need to consult my diary more often. The Temps dramatically changed. I watered yesterday just a few that were light but then it poured all night. This morning things looked SUBSTANTIALLY better. I think as long as I can get some sunlight the next few days things will be alright. That streak of weather in the 100s really did a number on me and my plants. Everytime I go they seem to be looking better so I hope that they bounce back and I don't lose anything after all this work. Plants seem "strong" though. They appear very healthy. This just seems like a mistake I made that was substantially worsened by severe thunder storms we weren't supposed to get. If they don't come back before rain I may move the plants that haven't recovered yet inside the barn for the night. It really depends. I want them to dry out. I'm thinking of going and putting a fan in the cage on the smart pots. I just need to keep an eye on them. UPDATE: I was worriedly watching my plants from the cams and got a message from my father saying my plants were "REALLY DROOPY." I got there and noticed they were WAY worse then earlier and it was sunny and 70's. I got my dude on the phone and sent him several pictures. Luckily I had a second opinion also from my father. A 3cu ft bag of 707 is 22 gallons. These pots were light like that. They just have a seven foot plant in them lol. I'm so happy. I was planning on bringing them Inside tonight in case of ANY rain, luckily I was able to ascertain THE REAL problem, consult my diary and askother growers. Things are looking good. I'm so happy I'm not overwatered. 8/2 Thank the Lord! And my father for his constant vigilance and my commercial buddy for always being there for me. I went over this morning and everything is back up. Plants definitely got stressed though. I think I was OVER and UNDER watering during those days where it was 100 degrees. It'd 68 today. I say this because as soon as I watered the plants they started picking right back up. Luckily I had a dry bag of 707 to pick up and compare with my 20 gallon grow bags and had my father check the weight as well. He's a forester and told me the weight was about tge same. I gave the big blue cheese in the back closer to 2 gallons until I saw some water coming out the bottom. The reason I think I may have overwatered is that the water evaporated as i had watered during the day or at night but not the 10% that they needed. I didn't QUITEgive them all their 10% last time more like I split the difference and did a gallon amd half. Some did get two though. I noticed some light yellowing going up one of the plants that I've watered the most. These plants are transitioning fast to flower. I think I've got the watering schedule down better and that's "don't water them on a schedule". I'll have to individually take note of the plants. Also on that plant and a few others I see minor nute deficiencies so as soon as I can feed I'm going too. I'm going to show my buddy all my info and ask his advice before i take the next step though. I can't believe they made it through this. Talk about anxiety. Wow. UPDATE: Talked to my commercial buddy. He advised to pick off any of the dead leaves, (which I mostly already have there weren't many) and to wait until next water to feed. He broke it all down in a way i could understand. Then he broke the feeding down further for me so I now know where to start. He did say he thinks my only problem this year will be, "finding a place to store it" lol. I thought he was joking but he went out back and brought out five gallon buckets with screw top lids lol. This back and forth dialogue (with a professional) is seriously lowering my anxiety and giving me confidence that im doing the right thing. Hes never led my wrong and hes always been there. So has my dad. He said to take the old man out for coffee because he saved my ass! I opted for the bottle of whiskey instead. I'll be checking them later. I'm waiting to feed until next watering and I'm waiting to apply BT. I don't want to do anything to a plant that has been that stressed. I'm giving them a few days to chill. Then the twenties will get a quart of grow big, big bloom and calmag and I'll convert that measure to the same amount for the 30's, and 50's. I'm not sure EXACTLY how big that tote is but I think it's closet to 30 than to 40. So I've got a solid plan for the week. I think what I'll be looking to do next is get my supports up. The wind has been crazy but these plants (even when stressed) seemed super strong! Still no fungal stuff knock on wood. UPDATE: Had to take the car to the mechanic and snag my wheeler to make it home. I sefoliated quite a few bog yellow fan leaves and some smaller leaves down low. Plants went through some stress thats for sure. I HAD to leave my phone with the wife as she had a telehealth appointment so I couldn't take pictures. I wish I could've because things are looking great. I can't wait until things dry out a bit and I can feed! I'm STILL in awe of how my plants look RIGHT NOW and how the looked yesterday. Another buddy said If I didn't see it (and I didnt know you) I wouldn't have believed it was even the same garden! I'll check AGAIN later if my car is ready. I'm anxious to feed and get my supports up. Plants are STRONG though. 8/3 Plants looked great this morning. I did notice what looked like nute deficiencies on the plants I've watered most. After speaking with a few local growers I decided to water. I watered everything a gallon. The containers got more. The 10 got less. Then i mixed up a feeding solution of 1 tsp grow big 2 big bloom and .5 calmag and fed the 20s approx 1.5 pints. A little less for the 10 and a little more for the bigger pots. I'm going to go back over and if I see no negative effects from earlier I'll use the rest of the solution. I'm hoping this was the right decision. It hasn't been enough time but the bags were light. Not SUPER light but last time I waited it didn't work out well for me. Two local growers have told me theyve been watering daily and they have plants in raised beds and right in the ground. I want my watering to be in the morning anyway. Hopefully this works out. I'll update. UPDATE: Went back over and everything was standing up nice. They loved that water and the small dose of nures hasn't burned them so ill be able to use more next time. I used a Gatorade bottle thats 1.25 pints amd went from there. A total of two gallons was used on the garden. Things look amazing. Things are changing on the daily. I'm losing some leaves now. Well they aren't dropping off but I'm plucking them before they yet that far. I need to water in larger volumes I think. Plants are drying out too quick. Others are saying they are watering much more often as well. It really hasn't been raining and these plants are huge. I have lush green leaves but this transition and the added watering I think has leeched a lot of the nutrients from the soil. Since I have the fox farm that's what I'll be using. I still have a couple leaves that are destroyed by a fourkined plant bug. It's very identifiable so theres another I need to find. Also seeing chunks missing from leaves. I need to up my ipm game. I don't want to do more than one thing at a time though so I know what happened if anything goes wrong. Since i did the nutes today the spraying of BT or captain Jack's I'd going to have to wait. Despite losing these old fan leaves my plants are dense. Defoliating really helped with airflow. I also noticed some chlorosis on a few leaves. That's why I'm going to start doing the 10% minimum. I'm waiting until they are real dry then I'll give everyone (but big blue) their 10%. I got run off from big blue just from like a gallon amd a half today. I hope my 2 minute video uploaded. It says it dis but u bet it didn't. I'm trying again and I'm at 12%. Let's see if my patience lasts. Looks like it doesn't want to upload 8/4 Thunderstorms and heavy rain all night. It's supposed to rain steadily all day. Plants werent drooped or blown around looking or anything after this storm and I only have minimal supports up. I defoliated anything that needed it. Just a few yellow leaves on the bottom interior. More like nitrogen deficiency. I am watering to frequently though. Im noticing some chlorosis (minor) on old far leaves. Could just be that the soil is getting depleted but "if the brown surrounds your plant is drowned" and I noticed a few leaves like that. Just a couple bit i know what to look for. I hate to say it but i think ive almost got things dialed in for this grow. I will need to put up further supports. These are some STRONG plants. I shook them all off today. The seemed to love the nutes. Plants looked way better this morning than I was expecting. I need to up my watering volume to 10% everytime. I DID fine more pillar damage when defoliating and a four lined plant bug mark on the purple punch in the ten. 8/5 It's not raining right now but it Rained all day and night. Plants really seemed to likecthise nutes. I'll up it to a quart next feed. I defoliated what needed it. Found my FIRST totally yellow leaf of the season. Big old interior leaf i must've missed earlier. Smell has greatly increased. Seeing that these plants seem to have no ill effect from all this water I feel more confident about my ability to fully water them their 10%. Especially since they are massive plants. I have one daln near 8ft and it's damn near as wide. Real good airflow. I think this is gonna be my year. I certainly hope so. I need to get rid of that fourlined plant big but more importantly I need to deal with pillars proactively so next nice night I'm going to treat with bt. Super proud of myself so far. 8/6 Didn't rain much yesterday. In fact I stepped out my door and the sun was fully visible and bright while rain poured down around me. It wad a cool experience but the plants dodnt get much for water. I checked the weight this morning (heavy) and shook off the plants and did my normal morning inspection. I news to remove a pallet so I have more room. Plants are really trying to flower. Next week I'm gonna yet them with a stronger dose of nutes. Last year this was about the time I lost my crop. Knock on wood but this is the healthiest crop I've ever had. I MAY apply BT tonight. Haven't decided yet. I'll keep the diary updated. UPDATE: Went over to check the plants that were WET and HEAVY this MORNING because of the windstorm. If dried the bags out completely. Everything but the 10 was drooping right over like before. Good thing I've got some pretty good intuition. I took two videos. I gave everything their 10% 2 gallons each and for each container plant. Plants were back up by the time I was done adding supports. 8/7 Sunny this morning. Plants looked good. Had to defoliate some dead leaves. I can't believe those grow bags dried out so fast yesterday! Its just the wind was so strong! Plants were right sideways! They got some syrong roots thats for sure. One of them (my canary) seemed light this morning! But we are getting an inch and a half of rain starting tonight into tomorrow so im not watering ANYTHING. I'm not sure what I'm going to do IF anything. I added to my supports. I COULD put EVERYTHING in the barn where we put heavy equipment. I'll probably at least bring a couple inside in case something horrible happens. Things arecreally doing good. Flowering up nice. Found a cicada on one yesterday. First time I've ever seen one. I'll update with what I decide to do. UPDATE. My canary seems a little light and is losing lots more leaves im not sure if it's because of the transition to flower but I assume that has something to do with it. Plants still have MORE than enough leaves. Found a couple pillars and killed them. Took a video. I have one blueberry cheese that I hope doesn't have a fungal infection as it's losing more leaves. But it takes more water and is greener and fuller up top. I think I'm just worried because of last year. I've done what I can gor the storm so let's see what happens if I NOTICE it get too bad I can bring some indoors.

Hello Growmies, It's been another incredible week in the garden, she is shining brighter than ever. This week marked her first encounter with a new feeding regimen, and she's taken to it like a natural. With 4 liters of Flower Nutes, supplemented by Orca, Powerbuds and Sugar Royal, she's dining on a veritable feast fit for a queen. The results? Internodes and junctions swelling remarkably, a sign she's as happy as can be with the nourishment. Continuing her upward journey, she's stretching out beautifully, with the first whispers of pre-flowering becoming visible. Each day, she seems to unfurl a bit more, steadily transforming in her cozy pot. The latest snapshots of her showcase a sturdy framework and a canopy of vibrant green, clear indicators of her thriving state and the care she's receiving. And here’s something special for my fellow enthusiasts: remember to use the code ZAMMIGD2023 at Zamnesia's online store to enjoy a 20% discount. It's always a pleasure to share these perks with the community! Thank you all for following this journey with me. Your support makes every update all the more meaningful. Can't wait to see what the next week brings for our green companion.

May 10, 2024 Day 85 A new week and I'm not sure these 2 are ready for flushing. They have way too many white pistils. Plenty of orange, though. Banana Purple Punch A has more orange pistils. Both got a gallon of nutrient water today. So they are definitely still drinking somewhat heavily. And they haven't slowed down yet. I'll keep an eye on them though. Flushing will have to happen sometime. I'd say in the next 3 waterings. That's just a guess based on their current progress. It just seems that they aren't done swelling and there's absolutely no purple coming through yet. Banana Purple Punch A still looks great. Her buds are starting to weight down the taller tops and they are slightly leaning toward the outside of the plant. It's actually quite good. It's opening up even more space for the lowers to get as much light as possible. Air flow is great as well. This is especially important because she is in the back directly under a clip fan. So it's more prone to mold. At least that's what happened in my last grow. This time I have another clip fan across from this one, so the air circulates throughout the whole tent, top to bottom. Banana Purple Punch B looks great! She's not bending any tops, but I don't expect her to with how strong her branches are. Practically immovable. However, she's definitely getting more jiggly. And she has huge buds top to bottom. I wonder if that's the reason she doesn't budge. No room. Lol. Honestly, she may be really compact, but I have her branches spread out enough for good airflow. There's just a couple of clusters that are a bit too dense with foliage, but it doesn't seem to be a problem. Lots of airflow and light. She's a bit behind her sister plant. Way more white pistils and orange on this one. No signs of purple whatsoever. Just a healthy growing plant. I'll be checking trichomes later today if I'm up to it. I hurt my back earlier. Regardless of that, I'll be getting trichome pics today or tomorrow. Probably tomorrow with videos at the end of the week. It's been quite some time since I last took trichome pics. Bad planning on my part. However, I'm excited to see how much further along they are from last time. I won't be changing the light for another few days I think. Then I'll drop the power down. As I said before, I don't think they are ready for flushing, so not ready for light changes. The environment is still a bit off. Today the temp is 76° but the humidity is still high at 56%. This is sure to ruin something. I'm still trying to get the humidity down. I have a feeling I just don't have enough air exchange in my bed room. I'm going to continue messing with it until it's right though. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.1° RH: 54.2% VPD: 1.29 kPa May 11, 2024 Not a lot going on today. Just some pictures. Banana Purple Punch A is looking really good. She looks to have another week or so. I'm really confused as to why my plants take so long to grow and finish up. Banana Purple Punch B has completely caught up with her sister plant. She has the same amount of orange pistils. That tells me there isn't much left to go. If she caught up, that means Banana Purple Punch A is even closer to being done than I think. Maybe. I'll check the trichomes again tomorrow. No pics unless they are done. I doubt they will be. Especially Banana Purple Punch B. On the other hand Banana Purple Punch A could have only a couple days left and just isn't going to turn purple or fade at all. I'm going to start flushing in a couple days I think. They both look about ready for it. Plus, they are about as big as they are going to get. I think the flush will bring out the colors. So next watering will be the beginning of the flush cycle. It should be in a couple days. Also, both ladies have slowed down on their water intake. So the reservoirs should be empty in 2 to 3 days. Probably 2 days. Then I can clean them out and get to it. The lights are going to be turned down when flushing begins. I'm going to aim for a DLI of 36 mol/m²/d for the rest of the grow. It shouldn't be anymore than a week of flushing before they are done. The environment is still messed up. It got down to 49% yesterday for a couple hours, but then this morning it was right back up to 54%. The temp is fine at 76° Still not cold enough at night, but I have time. A few days to work it out. I'd like to be down to 65° by then for the last week of their lives. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.1° RH: 53.7% VPD: 1.27 kPa Update: I decided to check the trichomes anyway. Banana Purple Punch A has quite a few cloudy trichomes. Very few amber and a bit too many clear. I'd say she has about 5 days left. Banana Purple Punch B also has quite a few cloudy trichomes. However, she has about 15% to 20% clear trichomes. Amber trichomes are basically nonexistent. There's a few here and there, but mostly on the sugar leaves and not on the buds themselves. I'd say she has another 7 days left. Honestly I don't want to harvest them separately. I'd rather harvest them at the same time, so I might harvest them in 6 days. Right in between. Maybe 7 days if Banana Purple Punch A isn't quite there yet. To be honest, I have no real idea with this strain. They seem to be getting there, but there's no purple, still a lot of clear trichomes and it's been 12 weeks. So it could be another 2 weeks for all I know. I'd like to push them as far as they need, but I have 4 other plants that need to come in the tent ASAP. So I may have to chop a bit earlier than I really want to. I'll post some trichome pics tomorrow and see what you all think. Comments are welcome. Lol May 12, 2024 Some pics today. I'll try to keep this one short. Banana Purple Punch A looks good. I checked the trichomes. Not done yet. I'm sticking by my 5 days estimate. So 4 days left. She doesn't seem to be drinking at all. She is, but it's a trickle. Definitely not like it was. I'll have to empty the reservoir out tomorrow and start the flushing cycle. Banana Purple Punch B also looks great. I also checked her trichomes. She is about the same as her sister plant. Not enough cloudy trichomes, but the amber ones are starting to show up. A good sign. She might be ready in 4 days. I'm still guessing 5 to 6 days. She also isn't drinking nearly as much as she was before. A great sign that she should be starting the flush. For trichome pics, I'll be posting some tomorrow. Nothing to post today. I'll be dropping the light power when I start flushing. Which should be tomorrow or the next day. As I've said before, the DLI will be around 36 mol/m²/d. The environment is a lost cause. I cannot for the life of me get the damned humidity to a reasonable level, so I'll continue to open the tent every couple of hours throughout the rest of the grow. Happily, it's only a few days to a week. The temp is a bit high today as well. 77°. I'm already working to drop it a bit without going over 60% humidity. I should be able to get it down to 74° without a problem. It's just the humidity that's killing me. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.9° RH: 55.6% VPD: 1.25 kPa May 13, 2024 Flushing day! I decided to rinse out the basins and begin the flush. I was going to wait another day, but I think it's time. They have about a week left I think. Honestly it should be done by now, but they aren't. Lol. No matter. They should be done in about a week. Maybe slightly less. So they have been given 4 ml of Flawless Finish. It should be the only dose I have to give. Maybe one more, but I doubt it. I still need to dry the containers out. That will take a day or two. So maybe a half gallon in a few days, just to get that last push in. Banana Purple Punch A looks great! Some more lean happening with the tops. Nothing bad or anything, just a slight lean. Perfect for heavy buds. I didn't bother checking her trichomes today. No point. You can tell she's not ready just by looking at her. Banana Purple Punch B may need even more time. I'm going to have to decided what to do. Wait for this one to be done then harvest both? Or harvest one at a time as they finish up? Decisions decisions. I'll figure it out in a week. Her branches are really jiggly now. No lean exactly, more like a sway. When she gets moved her top heavy branches sway a bit. Great sign for a heavy yield from a 17" plant. Or is it 19"? Either way, it's going to have a fantastic yield compared to her size. One advantage I am seeing with the longer finish is it will give me time to dry some Tropicana Cookies I am harvesting in a couple of days. I'll be wet trimming this time around and the dry time should only take about 5 to 7 days. Maybe 10, but I'd rather not try to stuff 4 plants in a 2x2 to dry. It's a recipe for disaster. 2 at a time stacked on top of each other. I'll be dropping the light intensity tomorrow or later this afternoon. Maybe even tonight during lights out so in the morning it will be ready for the new day of less light. As I've said before... Over and over... I'll be dropping the light power to 70% which should drop the DLI down to 36 mol/m²/d. Oh, btw, I use the Photone for my light measurements. It has a PAR meter, Lux, DLI and I Believe color spectrum? Kelvin? No clue what that does. I focus on DLI. It's a better reading than just PPFD. The environment is still messy... as always... I'm keeping the temp down to 74°. The humidity at 58%. So it's still too high, but I've done all I can to drop it down and it won't even go below 50% with the tent door wide open. It just won't. So unless I can get the humidity in my room down to like 30%, the humidity in the tent remains over 50%. Hopefully pulling the plants out daily is enough to prevent mold and other issues. There's also the two circular fans. They aren't at full power, but they don't need to be as there's two. Plenty of airflow. I'll really need to keep an eye on these plants. Maybe I'll take them out multiple times a day. Like 2 or 3. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.5° RH: 56.2% VPD: 1.25 kPa Update: I ordered a new dehumidifier for grow tents today. It should be here tomorrow. I'm guessing a lot of my problem with the humidity is my current dehumidifier. It barely pushes air. Cheap and well used. The new one is from Vivosun. A much more reputable company. May 14, 2024 Trichome day! Alright, so I took some video today. Not the best quality, but I hurt my back so I'm all shaky. The pics were a lost cause. Lol Banana Purple Punch A looks great! More leaning branches. This late in the grow, I don't care. They aren't leaning that bad and it's only showing how heavy these buds are. Trichomes are mostly cloudy with a bit left of clear and nowhere near enough amber. 5 to 6 more days I think. Banana Purple Punch B is so pretty. She has the faintest purple coming from the flowers, but not much. It is a sign that we may end up with a purple plant during flush. Trichomes are partly cloudy with 30% clear and next to no amber. She still has time to go. I'd say another 7 to 10 days. Now I'm overshooting it just incase. I don't think the plants noticed a difference in the light drop, or they did and it's not doing anything. However, I'm not sure what it should be doing. I'm guessing preserving trichomes? Makes sense. Anyway, it's staying at 36 mol/m²/d DLI. The environment is still an absolute mess. The humidity is at like 59% and as always, I can control the temp, but nothing changes the humidity. And it's like 55% humidity out today. Fail. Lol. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.3° RH: 59.0% VPD: 1.16 kPa May 15, 2024 Nothing to do today. They are still watered and whatnot. No changes in color yet either. I'm starting to think these both will be green phenomes. Or maybe they really aren't ready yet. It's just weird. What am I doing wrong to get all my plants to grow for so long? Oh well. This round is just different because of the other 4 plants that need this space. I really need them to finish up ASAP. No trichome check today. I can still t ell they aren't ready. The bottoms still have a majority of white pistils and the tops are just not there yet. I think they can get denser. They aren't quite rock hard yet, so I know they still have time. Banana Purple Punch A looks amazing. More leaning branches that are swaying in the breeze. No fade yet, but the leaves are starting to look ready for the fade. Maybe. Banana Purple Punch B is strong as ever. Definitely still packing on weight. Definitely not ready for harvest. Still another week I think. I'll check trichomes tomorrow on this one. I think I'll wait for her to be done then I can harvest both plants at once. The light seems to be just being a light now. I can't really see what it's doing, but I know the frost is there. Lol. So it must be doing something. The environment is killing me. Still over 60% and my room has climbed up to 60% as well. I have a heater running and the dehumidifier that I think is done working. My new one should be here today. And not a moment too soon. I should have replaced this one months ago. Unfortunately, I don't have much control over the heat anymore. The humidity is just over powering it and I can't get anything to change. I'm going to crank the heat and see if that helps. Like set it to 80° and see what happens. It's currently set to 74°. And 8 don't think that temp is high enough to combat the humidity. Crank it up! Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.9° RH: 63.0% VPD: .00 kPa May 16, 2024 Today is looking pretty good. I checked the trichomes on Banana Purple Punch B as she has the longest to go. I figure when she is done, Banana Purple Punch A will be as well. I've also watered them with plain water. PHed to 6.2. just a half gallon in the reservoirs. I'm not ready to let them dry out yet. Banana Purple Punch A looks great! Her branches are starting to lean a bit harder and her buds look amazing. No purple yet. Or at all. I'm not sure. But I'm certainly sure that the fade hasn't begun yet. I'm not bothering with trichomes for now. I'll just wait to see what her sister does. I'll check trichomes in a couple of days. Banana Purple Punch B looks amazing. Her buds are fat and dense. She smells great and stays strong. A bit more swaying. But it's the whole plant now. Wonderful! I checked the trichomes on this one. She is developing quite nicely. I'd say another 5 to 7 days? Maybe a little less if we're lucky. There's more cloudy trichomes than before and finally some amber. Much less clear as well. She definitely is nowhere near fading, so that's a concern for time. The light stays the same. It seems to be perfect for these two. So no changes. The environment is still a nightmare, but it's 86% humid outside and 63% in my room. Happily, not really, the humidity is down to 60%. Not good at all, but better than 63% or even 65%. I'm really hoping these ladies are super resilient. They should be. It's FastBuds and they have great genetics. The temp is fine. I haven't a bit higher to help some with the DLI. So it's hanging out around 76° to 77° for now. The new dehumidifier works way better than the other one. But a cool thing is that they are both small, so I fit them both in and it seems to be kinda working. It's keeping the humidity below what it is in my room, but not low enough. I know it will drop when I figure out how to drop it in my room. I really need a big dehumidifier for my room. That would solve quite a bit. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.8° RH: 62.8% VPD: 1.07 kPa

|»» LOG DISCLAIMER: Not intended as a grow guide. Grow logs are posted 3 weeks later and are for my own personal learning reference. ««| Introduction - Week 09 Summary - Ensign's log, stardate 17505.5, Another great grow week! Growth is ramping up and wow TKO is thriving! Compared to the beginning of the week, growth has just exploded! By the end of the week, she’s bushed out with growth! Almost time to start scrogging! Most of the week was tending and training the veg tent. As for the Heady OG BX1 phenos, got the DNA sex test results and found my first regular female! One ended up being a male and had to be culled. The female (#1 pheno), was planted into the 30-gallon fabric pot and has already begun to take off with growth! Veg tent has been looking green and healthy! The gnat population was ramping up towards the middle of the week. Received the nematodes and inoculated the entire garden. Plan to start stringing up the scrog frame soon. Anyways, Onwards to next week! Defoliation aside, haven’t done anything but (auto) feed straight RO water. --- Even the cover crop is raging in both pots. Nice! - [17:04]: Ca-Caw! Okay! Time to transplant Heady OG BX1 #1 into the 30-gallon fabric pot! --- The 30-gallon pot has been already pre-amended and ready for some Headies! --- Alright let's go cutty! - [17:06]: Gently removed the solo cup from the fabric pot leaving a perfect hole. ------ Sprinkled 1/16tsp of Great White, --- Dusted the sides of the hole. --- Also sprinkled a bit around the top soil. --- Great! Time to transplant! --- It’s been a day since her last watering. --- To loosen and unstick the rootball from the cup, I gently squeezed the sides before pressing the bottom upwards. --- Once fully loosened, I simply Vulcan-gripped the base of the plant and flipped her upside down. - [17:14]: Heady OG BX1 #1 easily dropped straight out of her cup! --- Ca-Caw! These are my roots! --- Wow roots look white and healthy! --- Did not break up the rootball. --- Gently flipped her over before carefully placing her into the pre-inoculated hole. - [17:16]: Pressed and evened out the top soil. --- Also decided to chop and drop the cover crop. --- Using a pair of trimmers, - [17:25]: Trimmed most of the cover crop. Basically trimmed everything above the pot. --- To help with the transplant, going to give 2 cups of wetting solution. --- Adding in a few extra microbes. - [17:36]: Filled a measuring cup with 2 cups of RO water. ------ Added 1/64tsp of Quillaja Saponaria Extract [60] ------ Added 1/64tsp of Recharge ------ Added 1/16tsp of Horticultural Aloe ------ Added 1/16tsp of Horticultural Coconut ------ Added 1/8tsp of Mycrobe Complete --- Mixed the solution and poured both cups straight into a pump sprayer. - [17:42]: Misted the straw mulch with the wetting solution. --- Took my time and tried to go as evenly as possible. --- Done with the transplant! - [17:44]: Took the weekly height and light distance measurements. ------ Heady OG BX1 #1 was about 4.75" tall. ------ TKO was about 17.5" tall. ------ Heady OG BX1 #1 was about 48" away from the grow light. ------ TKO was about 36" away from the grow light. - [17:54]: Took general PPFD readings. ------ Heady OG BX1 #1 was around 254 μmol/m²/s which gives a DLI of 16.46 mol/m²/d under an 18/6 light cycle. ------ TKO was around 312 μmol/m²/s which gives a DLI of 20.22 mol/m²/d under a 18/6 light cycle. - [18:05]: Checked and updated the Ecowitt soil moisture sensor data: ------------------ [ 4x4 MAIN TENT ] --------------- ------ 45% - [CH01 FT » G30 - Heady OG BX1 #1] ------ 42% - [CH02 FB » G30 - Heady OG BX1 #1] ------ 48% - [CH03 BT » G20 - TKO] ------ 56% - [CH04 BB » G20 - TKO] ------------------ [ 3x3 VEG TENT ] ---------------- ------ 43% - [CH05 BL » GR7 - Garlic Budder OG#1] ------ 41% - [CH06 BR » GR7 - Garlic Budder OG#2] ------ 39% - [CH07 FL » GR7 - Gorilla Goat #1] ------ 42% - [CH08 FR » GR7 - Gorilla Goat #2] --------- Veg: 38% - 45% | Flower: 45% - 55% --------- General: 30% [Dry] | 45 - 60% [Moist] | 70% [Wet] - [18:07]: Checked the 3x3 veg tent. --- Veg garden is looking great! --- Pots are flood free, but gnats are definitely back! --- Oops! --- Found a couple branches that did not survive the last super-cropping. Both found on Garlic Budder phenos. --- Cut and mulched the dead branches. - [18:38]: Okay! Time to apply the nematodes! --- This time going to also add in some microbes along with some Beauveria Bassiana and Bacillus Thuringiensis (subspecies Israelensis). - [18:48]: Filled a pitcher with 16 cups (1 gallon) of RO water. --- Also filled another pitcher with 8 cups (24 cups total). ------ Added 1/64tsp of Beauveria Bassiana Plus ------ Added 1/8tsp of Quillaja Saponaria Extract ------ Added 1/4tsp of Recharge ------ Added 1tbsp (3tsp) of WDG3000 Extra Strength BTI ------ Added the entire packet of (5 million) Nematodes - [19:26]: Mixed the solution before pouring 4 cups straight into a pump sprayer. --- Misted the solution onto each pot in the veg tent. - [19:53]: Took my time and watered each pot slowly. --- Also switched out the yellow sticky traps. --- Going to also inoculate both pots with the nematode solution. - [19:57]: Filled the pump sprayer with 2 cups of the solution. --- Misted the straw mulch for the 20-gallon fabric pot. - [20:03]: Repeated this process for the 30-gallon fabric pot. --- Nice! Heady OG BX1 #1 is looking a lot happier! --- As for the rest of the solution (~4 cups), inoculated various houseplants throughout the house. --- Should help to prevent or at least reduce the chances of another infestation. - [20:22]: Checked the humidifiers. --- Tanks are still full and no leaks found. --- Wow what a day! --- Finally have this grow cycle’s veg phase started! --- As for the veg tent, will continue to check back on the gnat population. Hopefully this treatment works! --- Grow strong my little ones!
