The Apple Betty girls have performed very well this week! The LST began, and there was some great growth in side branching. I also started this week off with introducing them to some nutrients ❤️ Start of week 4, the girls had responded well to transplanting, so I decided to start with some LST. My main method is to use soft wire wraps (dollar store purchase!) I poke one hole in the side of the pot near the top, and then go directly opposite that hole and poke through to make another. The first hole is for a wire wrap to secure the base of the seedling from pulling right out or over too far. The other hole is for the direction you want to bend your plant to. I start by slowly working the stem between my fingers at the point where I want it to bend. Twisting and pinching slowly so not to snap. *wait a day or two after your last water, or it will be easier to snap* once it’s ready to flop, I use the wire tie to hold down the top of the plant as close as I can to the nearest shoots. I’ll usually leave the plant like this for a couple of days, adjusting the ties, and then take them off to let them recover . Watered with a small dose of the full line of Advanced Nutrients I will be using for this grow. The girls got about 500 ml at the beginning of the week, but 2 days in I could tell they wanted more. By the end of the week they are taking nearly 1/2 gallon (which will give me 10% runoff) At the end of the week I increased the intensity of the BP2500 to 190 watts at the wall and the girls did show a few wrinkles as they adjusted, but have quickly recovered. I haven’t topped these girls, and I’m not sure if I am going to… thoughts? Happy Gardening 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨

So we got some very bushy plants. I topped them three times and trained them sideways and the plant focused it's energy on growing out sideways.

She's starting to stack and fill out. I added a second circulation fan for the bottom of the canopy. The growdots and recharge has worked well for me so far. I am running a very user friendly setup, and have been extremely lucky so far.

I soaked the seeds for 24 hours in a mixture of BioAg Ful-power, 6.3 Ph water & aloe Vera. I then inoculated the soil with the mixture of ingredients I listed above. After that I placed the seeds 1/4” into the soil & placed them under the humidity dome after spraying them with my pump sprayer. Current temp is 75 degrees F & Humidity is 89%.

she in her second week ... of flowering ... she has a weak smell yet ... but her buds begin to take shape outdoor ... we will see what she offers us in the future ... the substrate is made by me ... and its feeding began the 1 week of flowering with earthworm humus .. red guano and fishbowl water ...

The end of the fourth week. Only 2,5 to 3 weeks to go, since this is the FAST version of Gelato 33 by Advanced seeds. Last week temps were better, so that was a lot better to manage. The smell is a different story. We are trying to combat it as we speak with a double filter which my friend still had from a previous grow. The ladies are performing, however, because this is a monstercrop with many budsites, none of them will be very big. We anticipate a lot of cutting come harvest time. The stickieness and smell (cookies, dough, herbs, spices, gingerbread, vanilla) promise a lot to make up for that hopefully!! The middle plant that seemed to go fastest, now looks like to have the hardest time flowering. Her more advanced stage of flowering as a bigger clone, made it harder for her to return to veg, which she never really did. This seems to make her want to rush to the finish, as she is already browning the pistils. Also these buds seem more flakey, popcorny. As if the many flowers and grapelike bundled growth was too much for her. I put the light a little closer, to help her fatten up in the time she is given. I never expected the two 'runts' to outperform the mighty middle clone, but hey seem to fatten up and age much more nicely. So for now, prelimenary tip: make sure all your plants are completely revegged before flowering and consider that faster flowering species might have some ruderalis ancestry that might siderail all your lighting intentions and remains in flower what ever the growers lighting schedule. So with at least two more weeks for the two outer plants, and well see how many for the middle one, we are going to make them as comfortable as possible the final push of this flowering. Fruity Pebbles auto 2 is not as big as plant 1 is. She had a lot more issues getting to the solution then 1 did. She is in it now and starting to show the extra boost in grow. I did clip the tips of the few longer roots. Everything has been looking good. She should be getting her first lst soon. well this lady has been a gem too work with , she really stretched out at flower growing from a rose into too a sun flower lol but not quiet as tall as her sister the cali snow , she has been no trouble at all so far no deficiency's at all , also her bud structure is forming nicely and again not too far behind the cali snow , but both plants have almost identical structures too each other until you rub your fingers on those sugar leaves and they tell you they are doing there own thing by the lush sent they leave you sniffing your fingers in delight , the cali snow has much more of a friuty smell than the GSC but they both smell delicious thats for sure

She's looking really good so far and the smell she leaves on your hands after handling her, incredible! Her old fan leaves are dropping off and today is the last day I feed her nutes. It'll just be flushing from now on and checking in on the trichomes every once in a while.

This jack orange is such a beautiful plant for real, the flowers are going to be absolutely awesome, she's producing some trichomes so far just like the rest of the plants on day 23 of flower and the smell is citric but veeery sweet, I'm very excited about this one, this is my first time working with her, hope to taste amazing tasty flowrs. Looking great. Continuing to defoliate and un-shade some bud sites, but with a light touch. On 2/6 Top dressed: 1/2 cup bokashi, 1/2 cup build a flower, 1/2 cup fresh ground malted barley, 1/4 cup BAS craft blend, 1/4 cup alfalfa meal. Split this between the two containers. The worms are loving it and the soil mites are feasting.

The clone is in the same height as the rainbow triangle. we set the Forbidden Nectar a little bit up because she is the smallest one…indica dominant After 25 days of flowering we recognized that the forbidden nectar is already starting to purple a little bit (last picture)

Dec 12: Growth has been good, leafs started yellowing as I tried a regular watering as opposed to a feed, and they did not take well to it. I’ve read that it’s good to incorporate waterings between feeds, but 24hr later noticed a bit of yellowing on the lower section, 48hr post watering even more yellowing. Dec 18: Going with feed only and yellowing has halted, stretching has officially begun. No adverse effects from the short term nitrogen deficiency (that’s what I narrowed it down to). Playing with budsites to maintain an even canopy, and as soon as I see stretching halt, and fattening begin, I will up the bloom nutes. Dec 20:

January 31st - Day 120 from seed. I flushed twice with flawless finish over the past 8 days, and harvest day finally arrived for this freak show CBD Cheese Pheno. When I started this grow I had no idea a phenotype from an auto-flower strain could take 120 days from start to finish. That said I'm not complaining about the extra time because she turned out beautifully. Massive, dense, sticky, and aromatic flowers. Thanks for following along. One girl is seriously fading on me after 8 weeks only. The buds are rock hard, loud, purple and covered in trichomes though. We’ll see how this develops. Dropped the small one while watering too and it’s been all rubbery ever since 😂 Chaotic run is an understatement!
