Hey folks. The first set of uploads for this week was taken on Wednesday. Super heavy defoilation done. Lots of excess growth under the main conopy so I lollipoped them. In total between the 4 plants I estimate about a 1lb worth of leaves! She's a bushy plant so I got to keep her in check. Regular watering of 40mL of molassas to 19L of dechlorinated h2o. Also did a bit of lst with wires, binder slips n the 3d printed clips you see in the photos. Work great and its opening up the canopy wide. I can already count more than 15+ potential main cola sites. Not sure how much for i can make befor flowing which starts mid August for us. I may have to starting thinking about when to apply our second round of top dress. I may start to feed her with higher ratios of the bloom amendments. Also a note. Watering with molasses is a new thing for me and it seems to work wonders with a organic grow since you are feeding the microbiology which in turns feeds the plant roots with co2 and organic ions. Pretty cool to see the plant respond well to the carbs added via watering. Another note to mention is I'm starting to notice some gnats hanging around the topsoil. I do belive the molasses sugars are attracting the critter which is bad! I have been combating them by spraying thr topsoil with neem oil. 1tbs per quart of warm water and 10 drops of non-posphate dish soap to act as a wetting agent. (Helps the neem oil dissolve into the water). I have been applying the solution to the top soil every 3-4 days and have notice a significant decrease in gnats flying around and the plant doesn't seem to mind it at all. I'm just hoping it helps kill the gnat worms if they did lay any eggs into the soil. Hope you guys enjoy this one.

🇺🇸 Grow Journal – Week 13 Week thirteen. The plant seems in good shape overall, even though it’s starting to show some light discoloration on a few leaves. I don’t really know what’s causing it. Maybe it’s because the plant is growing and needs more nutrients now. Or maybe there’s some kind of nutrient blockage starting to appear. The substrate has been running for thirteen weeks, so it could be getting a bit loaded. I’m thinking a flush might help — just to give the root system a reset before moving forward. This week I also worked on defoliation and topping. We’re now at sixteen apexes, and I think that’s enough. It’s probably the last topping, because if I wait much longer, the plant is going to get too big and it’ll be harder to manage once she stretches. Aside from that, everything looks fine. However, I did notice a big drop in pH in the reservoir, which is strange. I added Athena Balance, just like always, but the pH keeps going down. I don’t really understand why it’s dropping so much. Other than that, everything’s okay — nothing special to report. The plant looks stable, and we’re getting close to the flowering stage.

Day 65, 17th of November 2020: Strong lady! I was angry with me because 2 x managed to break bud sites....🤫🤐 She is so fragile but all good still looks good these one smaller sides so luckily nothing serious damage. Streching stopped or not she my strech a bit more....buds are on the way now haha Some lollipopping (defoliation) has been done and also removed all the old LST's as the plant remains in shape from now. And then after if you look at my pictures she has a crazily twisted main stalk and the plant is like the Leaning Tower of Pisa..... 🤣🤣🤣 So I needed to balance a bit and try to bring back to be normal..... haha Fertilization is still the same like before happens every 2nd day with the ratio and mix above. The lamp is on 11.30 min and off 12.30 min. Last week was 15 min longer light cycle.... So every week 15 min shorter light cycle until the 5th week. So far -30 min. It switches on at 6 am and off at 17.30 pm.

This was my first ever grow and I am extremely proud of it. The nugs are dense and smell fantastic. The phenotypes on each of my plants were very unique, and each has its own smell. This did make it a little harder to care for the plants, but it ended up working out fine. I opted for a dry trim and did a tight manicure on the nugs. I plan on turning the trim into cannabutter using a sous vide machine.

She reacts quit good at defoliation last week and at the low stress training, too. I water my plants twice if it‘s sunny and hot. Actually I don‘t measure it. The weight of the pot before and after watering… So I got more relaxed, try not to do too much and we‘ll see how they react. I don‘t have rainwater anymore. That‘s not so good.

Welcome, my friends, to my new diary! 🌱💚 There is some change in my setup and approach to growing. I am only growing one plant at a time now, and that I'll do inside the VGrow. I am going to sell my AC Infinity tent because of space issues and also my lack of time. I want to commit to this hobby but can only allow myself to grow one plant, instead of three. That's why I am sticking with the VGrow. It's pretty small, exceptionally build and pretty nice to handle. Yeah, there can be a height issues, but I figured it out in the Jelly Donutz grow and will continue with that approach. But that's enough about the setup, let's talk about this grow. I chose the strain High Society from Compound Genetics. It was a really tough choice because I have so many promising genetics from very, very good breeders in the fridge. But since I can only grow one plant at a time, I needed to raffle what I grow next. And originally, the strain Ocean Marker from Robin Hood Genetics (THCTitan) won the raffle, but I wasn't really happy with the result for several reasons: 1. I already grew a strain from titan in my last grow and I really want to try different breeders, too. With limited grows or limited space, I just need to rotate a little bit. Maybe in my next grow I pop another seed from Robin Hood or Square One but for now, I wanted to use someone else's gear. 2. I want to try different types of terpene profiles. Ocean Marker would have been Gas+Candy+Fruit and I already grew this profiles in different combinations (Sour Zoda, Iced Up Cherries, Jelly Donutz..). I know that Permanent Marker and Ocean Fruit are completely different than the strains mentioned, but they're still in the same stratosphere, if you can understand where I am coming from. 3. High Society just was hard stuck in my head since I bought a pack of it. I don't really know why, but my stomach just told me every time: Grow this one next. So I ditched the raffle and just popped a High Society seed! This strain is a crossing of Cookie's Biscotti with Compound's Jet Fuel Gelato. I can expect variety when it comes to phenos, some leaning to the Biscotti and some leaning to the JFG. And that's a win/win for me, because I never tried Biscotti and I never tried a Gelato. And it's something very new for me. Yes, both have gas in them but both are also dessert strains. And I always wanted to try the nutty, buttery, toffee-like Biscotti and also the Ice Cream side of a Gelato. That's why it stuck in my head I guess, because it's just something completely new and exciting for me. The seed opened after less than 12 hours, which was very fast. I planted it inside a EazyPlug, as always and waited for 3 days. The seedling came out of the EazyPlug after just one day and today, the little seedling removed its shell (kinda) and opened up! This grow, I also change some other things up a bit. I will plant the seedling in the upcoming days into a solo cup with BioBizz Light Mix. After approximately 2 weeks, when everything goes well, I will transplant the plant into the 19L (5gal) end pot. My grow of the Sour Zoda inside this bigger pot went so much better than my last three grows inside 11L pots. I think the root zone just needs more space and more buffering soil to tolerate my water, which is very rich in minerals. In combination with the bigger pot, I also use the solid nutrient line from BioTabs! This should also help with the nutrient problems I had during my last three grows. We will see in the upcoming weeks how this new approach performs! Thank you for sticking around, let's have some awesome grows together this year! 💚
