May 23 Day 22: transplant day. The two backup seedlings are stronger than the first seeds I started. The backups were planted into 7 gallon grow bag after I took the bottom off the peat pot and tore open the sides. The backups are about two weeks younger than my other plants but I’ll leave the week numbering the same. watered in using 28 C water with soluble seaweed extract at half strength. May 24: picked a seedling. Culled the one with the more purple stem indicating P deficiency and therefore that it might not handle colder weather. May 29: this from a backup seed and is actually about 2.5 weeks and not 4. Doing fine and next week she’ll likely grow quickly.

3/3 COP is looking great. I should’ve grown her separately because 3/4 plants in the grow tent are indica dominant. I feel that she is the only one that is showing sativa dominant phenotype and is continuing to grow although budding has started. It worries me because I only have a few more inches of space to lift my lights before I may have to super crop her. She’s drinking about 2.5-3 gallons of water every 4-5 days. I also installed another scrog net.

I just love everything about this outdoor grow. Posted a video, starting week 6 of flower. We’ve had some weather here but holding off PM well. I put an 8x12 awning over them for the rough storms. It fills the yard with that classic pot smell. Can’t wait to harvest and pack this. I’ve never had Jack Herer before so my grow will be my first experience with a multi cannabis cup winner.

LAST FEED 7/7 7/8 I'm very excited with how my little grow is turning out. Preflower are forming on my mendo breath. Slurricanes are a little behind. I'm wondering when to switch to flower nutes. We will be getting thunderstorms today and this weekend. I obtained four blow up mattresses and cut them, zip tied them together and covered with gorilla tape. Since I didnt have enough lumber to frame the top of my fence I will not be able to use the rain guard tonight. I think they will be fine Having a frame that I could staple it too very quickly would be invaluable especially in the fall. 7/9 I added some additional supports last night. Glad I did as I have no damage and that was a huge storm. Preflowers are forming and smell is pungent. 7/10 Fog was heavy this morning but the sun is out now. Looks like it will be nice all day. I found a spider web at the bottom of a plant wrapped at the base of the stem. I've been killing pregnant spiders that will fold the leaves and web them together to hatch there babies in. The webs they weave are extremely durable. I swept up app webs which were easy to see do to the most and fog. I still see some pillar damage so I think you I might hit them with captain Jack's that way if I'm missing something I can spray before I transition to flower nutes. I watered today as I wasnt sure how much rain the plants had got and I didnt water yedterday. 7/11 It poured all night. It was the type of rain plants love. A bit heavy at times. I had to check plants with an umbrella. No damage. Everything looks good. I took no pictures due to the rain. As soon as I left it stopped raining. The sun came out yesterday and it was extremely humid. Plants seemed to love it. I'm really debating when I should switch to flower nutes. Went back later in the day. Sun came out and it was humid as hell. I took a couple pictures. 7/12 Heavy thunder showers gave way to sunny skies. I fed today and increased to 2tsp grow big and used micro bre instead of kango roots. It hasn't been a week yet but I will be away for a week and family will be caring for my plants. I will still monitor via security feeds and the morning through facetime. My plants seem to be doing super good and I hate to leave them even for a night. Oh well. I'll have to hope a masters in forestry and a masters on botany will suffice to care for my garden. Honestly I'd probably rather have a smelly hippie looking after them. At the local store brown tail moths coated the store. It was ridiculous. I applied BT heavily to my entire crop and actually say a few moths fly out from under the plants. It's been so dry the moths biggest predator (a form of algae) didnt grow. The CDC issued guidelines as they are poisonous. If you've never had problems with worms you might this year. 7/13 like I said family is watching my grow for a few days so I'm not sure if I'll be posting. I may have pictures sent and facetime. I can always check the cameras anyway. I sprayed BT last night just to be safe. That was unreal. I'm worried to leave my girls but I know it's just my anxiety disorder. When I get back I'm switching the mendo breath to flower nutes. Maybe slurricane too. What do you guys think? Hope you enjoy the video. I had much better internet connection. 7/14 I'm super lucky to have the family I do. They have taken pictures for me and facetimed my plants. I can monitor with my cameras but it's great to facetime and look really close.

Not much has changed this week, the buds got a little bigger, I've stopped giving PK 13/14, which brings the EC down to about 2.0

🌿 Cosmic Noodles — Week 6 Flower (Week 10 from Seed) ✦ Context & Run Setup 12/12 from seed. Autoflower expression under controlled flowering conditions — a hybrid rhythm between speed and structure. What we’re seeing now is the result of early structure + stable environment + precise feeding. And also… one lesson plant that deserves respect. ⸻ ⚠️ The Overwater Plant — A Necessary Decision This week, we made a call. Not emotional — responsible. One plant, previously pushed through intentional overwatering conditions, did not recover. Root zone remained compromised, oxygen exchange was limited, and overall plant vitality continued declining. What we observed: • Persistent droop and lack of turgor recovery • Slowed or stalled bud development • Increased risk profile (humidity pockets, potential for rot/microbial issues) At this stage in flower, the plant wasn’t just underperforming — she was becoming a liability to the room. So the decision was made: ✂️ Harvest early, remove risk, protect the ecosystem. Yield was minimal — but that was never the point. This plant served as a living case study. 💡 Key takeaway for the community: Overwatering is not about “too much water” — it’s about lack of oxygen in the root zone. Once that balance is lost for too long, recovery becomes unlikely. Respect to her. She taught more than she produced. ⸻ 🌱 The Rest of the Garden — Absolute Explosion Now… the contrast. The remaining plants are doing the exact opposite. They are: • Vigorous • Structurally stacked • Visibly happy ✦ What we’re seeing: • Bud sites fully formed and stacking aggressively • Dense, symmetrical structure across the canopy • Leaves holding a deep, healthy green • Strong transpiration and daily drinking rhythm These girls are not just growing — they are driving energy exactly where it needs to go. ⸻ 💧 Water, Feeding & Plant Demand Current intake: • 1.6 – 1.8L per plant / 24h This tells us everything: • Root systems are active • Transpiration is strong • Environment is dialed ✦ Parameters: • Temperature: 26°C • RH: 60% • EC: 2.0 • pH: 6.5 • CO₂: ~1000 ppm This combination is creating: → Efficient nutrient uptake → Strong metabolic activity → Continuous flower development They are eating, drinking, and converting. ⸻ 🌸 Bud Development — Where It Gets Beautiful At ~Week 6 flower: • Calyx stacking is now visibly dominant • Buds are transitioning from formation → mass accumulation • Structure is tightening, weight is coming in And the key detail: 👉 The plants are still pushing fresh growth, not fading early → This means the engine is still running strong You’ve built a system where: • Energy is available • Environment supports it • Genetics are expressing fully That’s why they look like this. ⸻ 🌿 Plant Size & Structure • Average height: ~1.2 meters • Even canopy with strong tops • Light penetration still effective This is the sweet spot: 👉 Big enough to produce 👉 Controlled enough to manage ⸻ 🔍 Why They’re Thriving (While One Didn’t) This is the real lesson of this week. The difference wasn’t genetics. It was the root environment. Healthy plants: • Oxygenated root zone • Stable wet/dry cycle • Consistent nutrient availability Overwatered plant: • Oxygen deprivation • Root stress → reduced uptake • Cascade effect into weak growth Everything above the soil is just a reflection of what happens below it. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect Next Coming into the next phase: ✦ Expect: • Continued bud swelling • Increased density and weight • Possible early signs of fade (depending on feeding strategy) • Higher demand for stability (environment becomes critical now) ✦ Watch for: • Humidity control (as buds thicken) • Airflow through the canopy • Any signs of internal moisture pockets We are entering the “everything counts” phase. ⸻ 🤝 Closing Words To everyone watching this journey: • Day one supporters • Silent observers • Question askers • Even the doubters This is for all of you. To the community, to GD, to the sponsors, to the genetics — thank you for being part of this process. Because this isn’t just a grow. It’s: → Learning → Sharing → Improving together ⸻ And to the garden… One plant taught us a lesson. The others are showing us what happens when everything aligns. With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself, and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. Gorilla Glue has been doing ok even though I was not able to care for her a few days. She is growing good under the G3000 light from Spider Farmer. I am still battling a magnesium deficiency, but from ph and improper care. She should be good to go now.
