The whole neighbourhood is trying to figure out where the skunk family is!!! Plants never stopped flowering yet but have slowed considerably. We had 5 major frosts and 2 snow events during this grow and all plants stood the test. One night was -4C. This is all coming down in two days where it is scheduled to be a +22C day.

Day 1- topped last week.....now LST training to make spread of the plant.. Most probably top again day 2 & water

May 3- I picked up my clones for this season today. Plants appear very healthy and are currently under two 150 Watt HPS until these plants can survive the cold Maine temps which won't be for a few weeks. From here the will go in fabric pots ranging from 30 to 50 gallons and trellised. The soil mixture that I use is 1/3 happy frog 1/3 FFOF and 1/3 roots organic. When I get good weather I need to clean up last year's mess and wash my bags. I couldn't take pictures due to low memory but I will. I'm going to start hardening the plants off a few hours each day. 5/9 Watered everything and started LSTing but I need more room. Weather is going to be great so I think I'll hold off on training others. I pinched a few and I'm going to try to get the plants out side some so they can harden off. Planning on dumping soil and washing bags today. I got most of the cleaning done. Bags are dumped and soaking. Soil needs have been established and I'm planning on either ordering from Amazon or picking up in person the next couple days. Plants never made it outside today as it was rather windy.

First feeding

Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lot’s of clear trichomes. I’ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. 😎🎄 I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I don’t flush, but rather “rinse” with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse ♻️ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed. Day 43 All four ladies are now in flower mode. They are still looking healthy but the fight against aphis continues. I've tried garlic a few times but they keep coming, so now I am going to make a tomato leaf mixture. I've read garlic chases everything, but tomato leaves chase only the bad bugs. Tonight I will water with plain water with a ph of about 6.5, then give them a stronger dose of nutes for its current stage of growth this Saturday. Day 45 Did a bit more LST on Sour Diesel, Diesel and Royal Kush. They all got the full treatment today, I watered them with nutes and after a bit I sprayed neem oil to deal with the aphids. Day 48 Everything is still looking really nice. I sprayed some Bioneem Oil a little while ago and left it from there. I've been going every night picking off the bugs, but with the neem I've left it to see if they still try. Each day I do a little training to make sure the growth is guided. Day 50 We are on the last day of this week and I'm just amazed at the growth. My previous auto grows were just sad and nowhere near as good a looking as these. The neem seems to be working ok I guess, but I have only sprayed once. I want to get a solid schedule going with watering, nutrients and pest control. I was going to water twice but the grow medium holds water really well. Saturday = Nutrients Monday = Pest control Wednesday = Water

Day eight shes growing but shes the slowest of the. Three i have. But growing none the less i wouldn mind a short but budded plant fed em today so far so good

One was more bushy and was a little behind. As I said, they had some heat stress and I think the 15-liter pots are too small when the environment is hotter. Still, they are totally worth growing and joy to smoke. They don't need much curing and the weed is very very strong. Going to try this strain again very soon!!

This week is going great. Transplanted the ladies into their 7 gal pots, amended with Gaia Green. They are doing good after being transplanted.

Amazing girl! Really happy with how she ended. She smells so sweet and fruity. She’s beautiful and heavenly. Fox tailed just enough to be pretty and not a nuisance.

I THINK THEY ARE DONE STRETCHING. GDP 1 IS 27.5 INCHES TALL. THATS BEEN HER HEIGHT FOR AT LEAST TWO DAYS NOW. GDP 2 IS 18.5 INCHESS TALL. #2 IS IN A 3 GALLON POT, I THINK THATS WHY SHE IS SO MUCH SMALLER. COULD ALSO JUST BE GENETICS. DAY 43. DAY 44: EACH PLANT HAS STRETCHED ANOTHER INCH. GDP 1 IS 28.5 AND GDP 2 IS JUST UNDER 20 INCHES TALL. NOT TOO BAD. LETS SEE IF THEY STRETCH ANYMORE. ITS SLOWED OVER THE PAST COUPLE DAYS FOR SURE. Little bit early on this week but as I’m travelling to Amsterdam today I’d like to get it updated today. Heatwave has finally gone, temps dialled in perfectly now. Hopefully with the temps dropped they will start to go purple for that bag appeal! Added another inside the flower tent and starting a separate diary on it. Week 8: Nothing but water and wait for the rest of her time. She's beginning her flush so I figure a couple weeks and she'll be good to harvest 😎 This girl smells like Chem, Cherries and cream and she has really been putting on some weight here at the end. Her buds are deceptively dense and spear shaped. As the calyxes swell so do the trichs. Really interested to see what she smokes like.
