15/08/18 - all looking good got loads of roots piercing out the sides of the smart pot , I’m thinking of adding cannazyme soon to break up all the dead roots etc, I’m feeding them the usual tonight and 2 litres each 💧and I’m done with LST now im just gonna let them start to stretch🙏🏻🙌🏻 17/08/18 - saw some weird marks on a leaf or two this morning and then later on it look like the pic above, it’s only happening on older leaves it’s not affecting any new growth, I’m out of grow questions so any help would be grear ✌️🏻 20/08/18 - just watered them with the above ☝️🏻 All looking good think I’m half way through the stretch so I’ve started to add some canna boost to the solution , probably gonna do some LST later on this week.

Much appreciate all your likes, follows and comments. 🙏💚❤️💜 Week 13 Jan 8- Jan 14 This was another amazing week. Girls are behaved very well. Drinking their juice like crazy. 2 waterings of 9ltrs on Jan 10th and Jan 13th. Runoffs at ph 6.2. Buds are gaining some serious weight and the trichomes development is of the charts. Girls are covered with frost. Trichomes are mainly milky now with individual ambers here and there. On Jan 10 noticed on one Athena top colas a white topped bud! It's something that has never happened to me. It may be only led bleach or it's something abnormal and phenomenal. It's white and has red and amber pistil hairs in between and all covered with trichomes. Few days after. White coulour is not spreading and not seeing any damages. The smell in my cabinet its insane. Very sweet scents. I wouldn't say bananas but definitely sweet berries and gummies 🤤 new dehumidifier doing an amazing job. Humidity when light is on is between 49-54% and 52-58% when lights are out. It's all looking that my 🍌💜👊 girls will be ladies very soon. Harvest is coming big time. Next week planning to gradually cut nutrients down and prepare for flush. Well they definitely made progress in the flowering dept over the weekend! I came back home to find a nice amount of bud sites and pistil growth all around. Bubba ya gotten so big it can’t fit under my lights in the tent with fan & filter, so it’s now been moved to the other tent. Kind of fucks with my auto grow I had planned, but not much I can do

How did you create/breed Freakshow? A. Methodical selection, line breeding, and culling is the short answer. Read our About page for more details. Q. Is it an indoor or outdoor type? A. Everything I've ever worked has been outdoors, including of course Freakshow. It has been our experience that outdoor (or sun grown, as it's recently being referred to) cultivars seem to perform extremely well under artificial conditions. This is true of seed starts or clones made from seed starts. The opposite is not always true; indoor clones often give an outdoor grower headaches because they don't always make the transition smoothly. This is due to light spectrum, temperature, and/or photoperiod changes. The different parallel lines that we are developing can be directed in a few different pathways flavorwise. Q. Why are the seeds white? A. Why is the sky blue? No, the mature seeds are shrouded by a rice paper thin membrane which has coloring and mottling on it, but it's so fragile that it disintegrates in the process of shucking. Stripped of the outer layer the seeds are very pale, nearly white. It came as no surprise that this plant would have abnormal seeds. Q. Is it a GMO? A. Wow...? The same set of variables apply to expected outcomes regarding cannabinoid levels and terpene profiles. Q.What is the lineage? A. (Bigbud x Skunk#1) x (Big Sur Holy Weed x Banana Kush). I'm pretty sure that Freakshow contains some Trainwreck and some Maui Wowie based on some research I did on the origins of the Pineapple Express. Interestingly Big Sur Holyweed, OG Kush, Banana, Trainwreck, and Maui Wowie are all of unclear origins. We have to remember that these are all just names and that they don't really mean much. The exact heritage of any cultivar today is impossible to determine accurately. Also, considering the amount of continuous shameless hybridization that has occurred in the last 40 yrs., any modern kind could easily contain over 40 kinds. In the case of Freakshow, it's much more limited because the ancestry is largely older "Sativas" that didn't go through as much outcrossing. In the 70s in Santa Cruz, Haze was a favorite among surfers for the pure energy and I still have (greatly improved) stock of it around, simply because even when I made hybrids with it I always kept the original in pure form for obvious reasons. Q. What is the psychoactive effect like? A. Like the flavors, many people have commented that the "buzz" is somewhat different than other mainstream types out there. It's not entirely out of the scope of imagination that given that this strain has new alleles in so many other respects, that it could also contain new, unique cannabinoids, as well as new and unique terpenoids, some of which may not even be among the standard 16 or so that the average lab is testing for. Aside from the up, cerebral, energetic boost, some report a mild time/space warp effect. Creativity and idea induction should be mentioned, for sure. Freakshow has the pure energy effect and greatly alters perception to the positive side, so definitely destroys depression. Appetite suppression is a side effect, but the enjoyment of food is enhanced. I personally will attest to all of the above. We all have different receptor profiles, so these are just generalizations. Couch unlock. Q. Is it pest and mildew resistant? A. Indeed it is. On many occasions in the last few years, it has been observed that when pest and mildew issues were affecting other plants adjacent to in the vicinity of Freakshow plants, for unknown reasons the freaks remained entirely unaffected. This includes 0botritis, PM, various mites and insects, soil fungus, etc. We haven't heard any complaints along those lines so far, so if anyone has any problems, especially with a rigorous IPM regimen in place, we would like to hear about it. And if anyone can attest to the extreme level of resistance it seems to have we'd love to hear about that as well. Q. Does it contain web-leaf genetics? A. I thought I better clarify this because there are a few people thinking that because of an article "Growing Marijuana that Doesn't look like Marijuana" that mentions that I had worked web-leaf types years ago and had eventually turned that into Freakshow. This is incorrect and I'm needing to get ahold of the writer to have him change it. When I read the piece and saw the mistake I figured it didn't matter that much, that the actual method of breeding could just remain a "trade secret". Recently, I noticed online that a posting, "Freakshow only exists because of duckfoot" by Curious Cannabis Connoisseur, where he explains how I developed Freakshow using Duckfoot. Let me explain, about 20 yrs. ago a friend gave me a jar of seeds labeled "BC Bigbud" and I sprouted flats of hundreds to look for oddities and had found one web-leaf pheno which we named Webster. It was a female so I bred it to a normal leaf male and began selecting and stabilizing a line of Webster. About 5 or 6 generations later I had nailed it to 100% webs and had also stabilized it for a deep purple color and a nice "gingerbread" terp profile. I was busy working other lines at that point so I put Webster in the library. Also, I was having a hell of a time getting a pheno of it that flowered to my satisfaction. (it seemed to finish with a limited number of calyxes). I knew I would have to outcross it to something with a big tasty bud and restabilize it for web-leaf, and I no longer had the original BC Bigbud. I still have the Webster seeds, and trust me the thought has crossed my mind to make the cross with Freakshow, but why? Why mess around crossing things just to create something even weirder? I have heard that the "Duckfoot" also doesn't bud up well so maybe there's a correlation there. Anyway, people can do what they want to and I will too, but crossing Freakshow with some low-THC crap like ABC is in my opinion idiotic. I worked extremely hard stabilizing and perfecting a beautiful new subspecies and I believe it should be kept pure. I won't go on a rant here about the rampant crossing and the lack of line-breeding in the cannabis world in the last several decades, or where this will eventually lead us, but I will say that it's not in a good direction. Bottom line....Freakshow has no web-leaf genes, it was made using top-grade tropical narrow-leaf drug (NLD) cultivars. Q.Why is Freakshow patented? A. Although I and most others (including all the folks at HSC) believe in and subscribe to the concept of "open sourcing" because sharing in cannabis genetics was always the cultural norm, it was decided that Freakshow should be protected (1) because it is a novel and unique, not a preexisting strain (or even subspecies), (2) To keep the greedy corporate big boys from exploiting it, (3) To maintain control of the genetic refinement of it in all future generations. Ella está interesada en recibir un poco más de agua, pero no le daremos más de lo que necesita... No quiero arruinar los nutrientes y la vida de su sustrato así que la riego lentamente con sistema de goteo. El fermento de guano de murciélago, palomas, conejo y cabra ya está listo. Tiene un agradable compuesto de melazas, microorganismos de Top Crop, Agrobacterias y almidones además de una buena dosis de humus de lombriz... Huele muy peculiar, ni feo ni agradable, como a levaduras... Lo comenzamos a agregar en dosis de 1 litro a 25 litros de agua pura de lluvia para riego por goteo. Esta semana ella recibirá goteo permanente hasta acabar con la solución. Creo que los 25 litros durarán unos 10 días aproximadamente. (Podría variar según la necesidad del sustrato) Estamos preparando además un top dress de composta, humus y trichoderma para cuando comience la temporada de floración ya que es a mi parecer la forma más eficiente de prevención contra hongos no deseados 🤞 Aplicaciones foliares permanentes cada 3 días intercalando una vez delta 9 y otra vez jabón potásico, aceite de neem y cola de caballo para mantener plagas a raya y también dar ese impulso al inicio de la floración que al parecer está funcionando más que bien. 03/21/2021 All going well with the exception of the broken branch, but she is still looking healthy she(cutting) is in vermiculite and soil blend and soaked with Grow Rich 4-10-3 with IBA,to see if she roots. If not at least mother should have better buds with one less top. 1st video is at lights on, 2nd is just before lights out.

Took some time to remove all paperclips from plant and clean up a bit leaving the top fan leaves and removing everything else, from here on out ,im letting the branches where i topped grow upward before switching to 12/12, still dont have confirmation on the sex?

Week 8 begins for mandarin dreams and divine storm. All four ladies are frosty, sticky and the mandarin smell is incredibly strong. I love how these girls look and are growing under the TSW2000, they look better than round 1, grown under my own custom Samsung strip's. Thank you Mars-Hydro for the light! So 3 weeks in, 4 were males, unfortunately all 4 were descendants of mephisto’s gen’s. Bit disappointed about that but what can ya do. After growing 10 of the bitches at once I am NEVER doing that again. People always talk about how many they want to grow before they do… to those that haven’t started in this pursuit yet, heed my warning lol. They just hit their pre flower growth spurt, I did have 30 days marked on their lives on a reminder on my phone to defoliate because last grow I had so much larf. The fog dog grows nice and stout, the glue sniffers tall and lanky. Both phenos differ very little. I cut off like 3/4 of the bottom nodes off each. Fingers crossed they take it well.

We've made it to week 3! (10/12/20) I'm very happy with how the girls are going, they have definitely put in a HUGE amount of work over the past 7 days. Plants 3 & 8 are very similar(extremely fat leaves & extra bushy) Plants 1 & 5 are similar (smaller phenos reacting to nutes slightly differently) & Plants 2, 4, 6 & 7 seem to be a cross between the previously mentioned phenos(not too small and not too big/bushy & reacting to nutes fine) Feel free to compare Week 1, 2 & 3 to see the differences. Nutes are staying the same this week, although I will be spacing feedings out a little bit further(18 hours-ish), as well as feeding straight PH'd water once a fortnight. I am contemplating hooking my simple drip-to-waste irrigation system up, although the girls are pretty close to the medium still and the halos sit 5-10cm above the medium, meaning fan leaves would be drooping onto the wet halos, so I'll give it another week and see how they're doing :) Update 11/12/20 - day 22 The girls have beefed up quite a bit over the last 24 hours, I'm really looking forward to seeing a stretch soon :) No feeding today & will water plain ph'd water tomorrow. Update 12/12/20 - day 23 Gave the girls straight ph'd water today with little run off. Veg growth is really starting to boom now, looking forward to seeing where this grow goes! I'm gladly accepting any tips or tricks, as I'm still only a beginner to indoors. Update 13/12/20 - day 24 Girls are looking great today, not much to report. They didn't get a feed or watering today as the medium was still wet after a pure watering yesterday. Update 14/12/20 - day 25 There's been a big increase in growth over the past 24 hours. All the girls besides the 2 smaller phenos look 100% happy, the smaller ones have looked a little weird since day 1(Weird as in colour of the fan leaves look deficient of something, but I'm not sure what. The girls will be getting a full feeding today. There's still no signs of sex but they are feminised seeds. Update 15/12/20 - day 26 Girls are looking happy today. Temps are back to normal after a heat wave in my city(its only going to get hotter from here on out). No feeding/watering today, pots are heavy/wet enough. Started using iphone for photos now, my only lens for my DSLR is useless for most grow related photos. I will upgrade my lens before next grow. I received my new silenced fan today! I couldnt be any happier :) It is a silenced Sigilventus SE-A150J, which I have set-up with a brand new Can-lite carbon filter. I went from a rocket loud eBay fan to a completely silent inline EC fan :D I hope the girls like the silence! Update 16/12/20 - day 27 The girls are continuing to boom! and I'm over the moon about it :D I gave them a full feeding today. I have seen white pistils coming out of calyx's on most of the girls, so i'm hoping they start to flower soon. I'm having weird issues with my humidity, it seems to be fine at 40-50% for 70% of the day, but the remaing 30% of the day it goes up to 60-65%. Temps stay the same in the 5x5 tent, I have ducted air-con in the house which is on most of the day. Thanks for viewing! :)
