This week we encountered some problems and we lost a couple of days of growth. It was smooth sailing up to here and maybe a little too smooth. I saw that the buds didn't develop right after the previous post last week. After dropping a question and establishing possible reasons I did some interventions to let the plants recover. I raised the light which was real close and temps were too high. Next to that I watered with just some normal tapwater as I suspected some too low PH. I started ventilating more to disperse the heat a little. These actions seemed to have helped as last couple of days I see some real fattening of the buds. This SP-3000 is real powerful and cant be as close as my previous leds. Again props to Mars Hydro and a big thank you to @MarsHydroLED!! Let's hope we do the last couple of weeks with less stress for all of us! Sorry for not posting any Sunshine posts, I have a Christmas surprise in store for those enjoying the mixed reality shots. This is the frostiest plant I've ever grown. She is incredible.... Got a few weeks to go though.

Week 15 started 7-03-2022 July 4th Update Cleaned our rez and made water at 6.3 Ph, cal-magged. Heavier defol. to reveal more bud sites and give more light. Upgraded flowering light higher output and more coverage. Temps are fine. She started yellowing and getting pretty defensive with the amount of light, so I backed it off to 18", way more light from this 400w COB. The UV is hurting her too so she is throwing more color into the flowers. I am flushing a bit right now and letting her just get used to the light. Added Gaia Green on top and top fed after a 12 hour pause and then flushed out the rez, so now just good water on roots, letting the media get used up, but I don't want deficiencies at the end of the grow, hence the gentle ferts. I don't want a chemical taste so flush with the natural stuff. I will top feed once more once she gets happier looking. So cal mag, like 3 ml of Hygrozyme for root health, and PHd - keeping it simple. (Don't over do the Hygrozyme) 07-06-2022 The upgrades continue. Moved the new light and new carbon filter, along with the A/C Infinity fan to a new Gorilla Growtent Lite 4x4, which is perfect for me for a good while. It barely fit in the space, modified the fan a little and its working like a champ with near identical environmentals. Moved the White Widow manifold into the 4x4 and adjusted the lights and she seems happy so far. I can tell the new light is adding growth and bulk just in a few days. Hopefully the new tent will encourage more ventilation and growth as well. Way less light leakage, almost none. So far I am happy.

Getting a growth spurt on switched to flower mode on the 600w led, installed the extractor and carbon filter as it's getting to smell a little fruity even at this stage. Lite feed in this early stage with the listed nutes, seem to be responding well. 17/10 Defoliated today and made a CBD smoothie from the lower canopy with almonds, apple, lemon and lime, the leaves were very fresh, it was pretty nice. The past 48 hours in the Coco medium seemed great for this Girl. She popped.

Week 8 of Veg, preparing to flip to flower this coming weekend. Gonna do an extended light period but not quite the 24hrs of dark. LST is opening up light to the lower growth and making more room for big colas!

Everything is filling out nicely. The Banana Jealousy is finally catching up to the Black Opal x Zkittles in terms of bud size. She's starting to smell sweet and creamy. I'm very much looking forward to these finishing up. 13 hours on, moving toward 10 hours on over the last two weeks.

Everyone says the plants smell amazing but I can't smell them! fml. They're supposed to smell like guava candy. Just gotta rest up more till my smell is back, honestly the worst thing about covid. Started flush this week, going to flush for 10 days including a 48 hour darkness period. The darkness period is when the buds can reproduce the trichome coating. It's normally used as sunscreen for light protection but much is burned off during intense day times. This is why it's best to harvest after a period of darkness.

This week has been great progress on the plants, as u can see, giving your plants the oxygen it needs and they will flourish I wish I've gotten a better pump from the beginning, but o well learning curve lol, it has been getting warmer now that spring is arriving, the inside of my tent is at 80° so the only issue I see in the future is water temp. rising but ama try to keep her as cool as possible. (Not running a chiller) I did started to see some pistols coming out so, she starting to flower. Ama switch her nutrients to bloom A&B next week as with some Nirvana see how that goes. Am still checking the pH twice a week (Once in the morning, and again late afternoon.)

week 28/4 - 5/5

My Ladies are really thirsty. I was not at home for four Days and give them 5 Liters per Plant. When i came home they looks like they want dying Buds was so fat now that they hang down on some Stems. So i decided to use the Scrog Net They are getting frosty but Trichomes are just clear

Day 49 - lookin good..... been bending her, trimmin abit, messin with the water solution..... ph and ppm have been all over the place..... lol she's been transitioning from grow to flower, and once she settles into night mode, the solution and growing should stabilize...... the new fan is cool... tents working properly now, neg pressure, drawing in air behind the floor fan, blown around the bottom, and cpu extractor fan pushing the air out the top of the tent, straight into the filter..... really nice way to run a little tent, low airflow........ keeps the impurities out of the buds..... the stalks have all tuffened up since trimmin, and pretty strong now.... should hold the full weight that's about to occur all over the place...... i've simplified the nutrients, they were gettin alittle confusing, so started doin nuets differently, .... so, just making my own nuet solutions, nothing fancy just base amount of normal elements .... should be a pretty good christmas ......
