It is getting more humid in the grow tent this week. I need to do another refresh on my DWC water right away. It's smelling slightly stale. I should have done it sooner and not waited for the smell to be noticeable. Anyways it's looking good and will enjoy a refresh today. So I touched a leaf today to remove it and after smelling my hand I had a urge to cut her down and smoke it. She's got an omg sweet aroma covering your hands that just makes me wanna pinch a top off and try it. I feel like a cat hit by the wiff of the nip. I'll been using sticks to handle from now on.

Greenhouse growing is strange and exciting, well from what I have observed and experiencing, I see extremes, next week I will post readings from my thermometers, yes I have two, a coil, and a red mercury one, placed in a shaded area and the other in direct sunlight where the ladies are tanning. It’s getting hotter as the days go by, I need a humidity reader. It will help me better catalogue.

Hey hey my fellow growers, I hope everyone had an excellent week! It is great to be back here at the beginning of week six, let’s get into it! Last week I had misspoke- I said I was going to train 5 of the 6 plants I have going from fastbuds, this was false…. What I meant is all 6… Yes at the time I had only INTENDED on messing with 5 but the last one, the way it was structured with the self top, it was practically BEGGING me to get in there and play with it- and I ask you this- who would I be to deny that little strawberry pie the simple pleasure of a little training? So train I did… Nothing crazy, but actually for all six plants (despite my best efforts, best being debatable) to not go overboard- I have been going in a doing a little bit of training and taking a leaf off here and there if it’s blocking any potential bud sites. I am trying to be really careful and not do too much at once and upset any of them- but at the same time, after stunting them a bit with the taproot incident (which I will keep referring to until I learn from that mistake) I want to do what I can to maximize yield after tripping up a bit in the beginning. We will see how it goes, but for now, everything seems to be doing well and responding well to the bit of training I have been doing. Right now I am seeing a range of sizes among the bunch- the forbidden runtz are both shorter and squatier coming in at about 5.5 inches in height each and I notice everything is spaced a bit tighter on these so I have had some difficulty spreading them out but not to any problematic extent, just in comparison with the rest- Next we have the strawberry pie- the smaller one coming in at 5.5inches, is the one that I was speaking about that had topped itself. It seems to be doing well and handling the training just fine. However the other one, that one is much bigger and is about 8.5 inches tall. It wasn’t until I busted out the ruler that I saw that this was the second biggest plant of the fast buds. That leaves the largest which of course was the gorilla cookies! The smaller of the two is coming in at 8 inches and the larger one coming in at 9.5! They are both tied down and doing great, showing growth each day after being trained and having select leaves removed. We are getting closer and closer to flower I hope to have a bit more time with them but that is totally in their hands, so we will see what happens- the game plan now for me at this point is to keep doing what I’ve been doing- trying to balance on a delicate line. As far as other news… I am doing dishes the other day- I have my phone propped up with YouTube on and dude grows playing (my preferred way to do dishes) I hear the dude mention a giveaway they are doing that I had submitted an entry for recently so my ears had perked up…👀 I saw they had the contest page pulled up and on display and I thought to myself, wouldn’t it be cool if I got to see my picture right now, sure enough- I hear them start talking about my pictures! I in no way won (at this point, my fingers are crossed though haha) and I realize that this is debatably anticlimactic however, I listen to these guys everyday at work so I was stoked! I still am! 🌱Day 36 - Second Week of Flowering 🌱 Hello growing friends! 🌿 Today marks the beginning of the second week of the flowering phase, and I’m very happy with how the buds are developing so far. 🌸✨ Since this is my first grow, I’m truly amazed by how fascinating these plants are. It’s an exciting journey! 🌱🤩 Last week, I struggled with yellow leaves and a calcium & magnesium deficiency. Fortunately, with the help of BioBizz Calmag, things are slowly improving. 🍃💪 Currently, I’ve set the humidity to 45%—according to my research, this is ideal for minimizing the risk of mold. 💧🚫🌿 🌱 Day 42 - Last Day of the Second Flowering Week 🌱 Hello everyone! 🌿 Today marks the last day of the second week of flowering, and I’ve made some updates to my routine. I’ve increased the nutrients to BioBizz Grow (3ml), BioBizz Bloom (2ml), and BioBizz TopMax (1.5ml). The plants are growing well and have recovered from the calcium deficiency. 🍃💪 I’m continuing to add a bit of BioBizz CalMag to prevent any future deficiencies. 🌱✨ This week, I also added some soil to the pots, as the soil level had flattened out quite a bit. I topped up each pot with about 1.5 liters of soil.

Day 70-77 (Day 71) Not exactly sure why but node spacing on bbb 6&7 is super tight still. Their stems are also harder and less bendy, almost like they’re root bound. Bbb #5 in my veg tent is looking bizarre and I’m at a loss for what to do. I’ve been looking up and asking around about the leaf crinkle and no one seems to know what’s wrong. Trashing a pheno of this would hurt. It could be a keeper too as I don’t think the problem is genetic. It’s definitely root bound but that doesn’t cause contorted new growth like that. I’ve concluded that it’s my dense soil coupled with root bound issues, overwatering and high RH. (Day 72) Later tonight I’m going to give bbb 5 a bath tub flush until it’s reading 200ppms, drain it well and then transplant into a 3g pot with lightly amended soil. I’m also going to give it a light defoliation. I don’t mind stressing the shit out of this plant right now because I won’t be flipping for another week at least. With the small container it will run out of amended nutes mid flower so I will hit it with a few synthetic feedings around then to test out the smokabilty and taste compared to organic nutrients. I might as well give the rest a good defoliation on the rest of the plants too. I will try to get most of what is under the trellis. (Day 73) I definitely defoliated #7 waaay too much. Since it’s tucked away in the corner and a really bushy plant I can’t train it as well as the others. I cut most of the sucker branches and the majority of the lower fans. This should prevent the need to defoliate at all until week 3 of flower. (Day 74) I’ve been reading that higher temperatures with a high RH can affect growth big time. It could be what’s causing all the crinkling and twisting. And now that the plants are in very late veg they could probably benefit from a lower RH. When I was running my temps around 74-78F and 70% RH I was in the perfect range. Now that I’m around 82-86F with the same 70% RH that could be what’s causing it. Hotter air holds more moisture than cooler air and proper vpd at 84F is around 75-80%. I’m going to turn up the speed on my carbon filter and set my controller to 75%. If I don’t see a difference or it gets worse I will drop to 65 and go from there. (Day 76) I finally got the lights raised up another 4 inches or so. It’s not much but it should help reduce the intensity and stretch the nodes more. I’m starting to think the super tight node spacing and droopy/contorted growth has more to do with something I’ve been reading about called ‘soil compaction’. Apparently farmers often deal with compacted soil in fields from running tractors over it all day. When I potted the plants I gave them a good little jiggle to compact the soil down further so I could fit a bit more in the container. I think this could be the culprit as they don’t seem to be drying out evenly. Even the plants in my other room are not drying out like they should and it’s probably from compacting too. With the addition of rock dust and dry amendments the soil can become sandy/clay like and retain a lot more moisture. Wish I would have added a few more liters of perlite and packed the soil a bit looser. Either way I need to get this problem sorted ASAP before I get root rot. Earlier in the season when I overwatered, I stuck a fish tank air pump into the soil and it aerated the soil enough to prevent overwatering. The only reason I discontinued it is because it didn’t have much effect in the 1.7g pots. I just ordered a 36w 6 way fish tank pump that is way more powerful. It was 50 bucks and I’m willing to take a gamble on it. It seems to be my only option at the moment because I can’t just repot. Worst case scenario I can use it for brewing compost teas if it doesn’t work. I’m not sure how well this will work in a giant fabric pot but it’s worth a shot. I’ve heard of people supplementing additional air into raised garden beds with great results. I’m picking off some of the new auxiliary branches to try and widen the node spacing. Growth is definitely slow and stunted but no signs of deficiencies. I just thought of another theory on the node spacing... and the more I think about it, the more I think it’s the mystery problem. I’ve been foliar spraying with 1-1-1 VeloKelp at pretty high concentrations 2-3 times per week. I have heard in passing that kelp and seaweed can somehow reduce stretch. A quick google search reveals that Ascophyllum Nodosum Seaweed and other marine algae extracts contain large amounts of hormones and auxins that reduce plant height and stretch. *facepalm* Guess I’ll stop that for the rest of the cycle. As far as I know there is nothing I can really do but wait for the plant to use up all those excess hormones and nutes. The recent 0-0-15 seaweed extract and 1-0-3 kelp meal I bought is derived from the same kind as the velokelp. I guess I won’t use it again until week 3 or 4 in flower. Tight nodes are very useful in flower but aren’t desirable at all in when trying to scrog in veg. Especially when they’re like a half inch apart. It slows the shit out of a grow. Vietnamese and biker gangs in my area used to grow SOG style and use a synthetic PGR hormone (meant for bonsai trees) called ‘paclobutrazol’ that would make the weed rock hard dense so they wouldn’t have to pay people as much to trim it. I’ve heard that in recent years they have made the switch to using kelp extracts because paclo is getting harder find and is not meant for food crops let alone smokeable crops. I’m ashamed of it but I have smoked pounds of PGR weed long before I knew what a PGR was. 🤷‍♂️ (Day 77) One more theory. Ever since raising up the plants up onto that shelf the root zone is probably significantly warmer and the bottom of the pot (where most of the roots are) drys out way quicker. It’s possible that the warmer root zone could not be holding dissolved oxygen at the proper rate resulting in that over/underwatered look. Or it could be that I’m not watering enough at once to reach the bottom of the pot where the roots are and it’s indeed under watered. I’m going to water in a gallon when I get my new air pump and see if that makes any positive change. If I see the new air pump making a difference, I will flip on the 21st of April. If I don’t see a difference, I will carefully untangle the plants from the scrog net and remove the shelf. That extra foot should make a massive difference with ppfd and will cool down the roots significantly too. I’m thinking about grabbing a simple soil/compost thermometer to check the temp of the medium. Better safe than sorry. Rough week. Hopefully everything get smoothed out in the next little while before I flip.

😍😍😍 Everyones favorite time has arrived. The flowers have started plumping and the frost caking on. The trichs are so long its crazy!! Like hair on tarantula legs!!! The flowers look great and appear to be getting nice and dense. I do want to see peoples opinions on when they remove added co2 from the tent. I should be about 14-21 days away from harvest with my guess closer to 21. I was told to take out the co2 two weeks before harvest by one person. Another says they leave it til the end, he has some damn nice flowers so its hard to argue lol what do you do?? Heres to a smooth finish!! One thing that i think happened was phosphorous toxicity in the one plant. I think thats what i read awhile ago for why it has the brown hairs like that compared to the other 5 plants. is that corrrect?

finly she shows signs of flowering start so here we count in flowering now cant wait to see how she will do. so far im not convinced by 12/12 no "time" savings at all if there are big enough buds it could be a energy saving option.

This plant was a dream to grow, wish I'd taken cuts. Halfway through dry at 7 days. Drying at 55 - 60 % RH and 17 - 19 degrees C. I anticipate she'll be done between 10 - 14 days total dry time and I'll then trim and update weights on this Harvest. 133.75g total after trim. She's a nice smoke, very happy.

Today marks almost 5 weeks since germination and I thought that the damaged plant had recovered enough to make the journey the rest of the way home. I’m looking at other people’s phenos of this strain they can have quite a bit of stretch and given that I have another project up and going it was time to turn them to flower. I’d like to see the 36”+ stretch that I’ve seen out of others that would make these quite the specimens

Hello, again in touch Russian grower. Today my girls 70 days, 10 weeks. The fruits make me very happy, and the smell knocks me down. Soon I plan to make the harvest Bubblelicious Auto, my patience is not enough, and in appearance we can say that this is a full Mature flower. Despite the additional air filtration and automated odor neutralizers for bathrooms, the smell is coming out the door. But it remains to endure quite a bit, so I'm not afraid. The most difficult is behind, but a lot of pleasant in the future. Bubblelicious Auto - The smell of these plants has become simply stunning, like a hammer blow to the face, I hope the quality of the final product will not be worse. They look like beautiful porn Actresses 😍 In the microscope I see amber trichomes. Neville Haze Auto-lives up to my expectations. They do not have enough space for full flowering, but soon they will be spacious. Because of their neighbors, I can't really smell them. The plant is very cheerful, progressing, but I think it will bloom for at least three weeks. I also have some good news, mail delivery brought me measuring instruments, so now my diaries will be more accurate. I Express my gratitude to all those who follow my progress and support me.
