Week 8: Flowering Stage Rising Temperatures and Weather Challenges The temperatures are expected to rise slightly this week, but intermittent thunderstorms and heavy rain are also forecasted. This unpredictable weather presents a challenge, but I remain hopeful for continued growth. Snail Attack I had been leaving the plants outside overnight, but during a late-night check, I found three giant slugs feasting on my Gorilla Cookies buds. These damn snails just won't give up. I'm seriously considering installing some kind of automatic deterrent system. Feeding and Watering Consistency The amount of water and nutrients remains unchanged. Each plant continues to receive 3 liters of nutrient solution in their 11-liter pots to prevent salt buildup and ensure optimal growth. Growth Observations Banana Purple Punch and Blue Dream: Both strains seem to have halted their vertical growth. They are now fully focused on bud development. Tangie: This plant is still vigorously growing with new shoots appearing everywhere. Tangie seems perfect for low-stress training (LST) and could probably handle a well-timed topping without issues. I had to do some light defoliation to make sure everything receives enough light. Gorilla Cookies: While it’s not growing as aggressively as before, it is concentrating on flowering. Despite this, it continues to gain some height. Looking Ahead As the flowering stage progresses, I'm eager to see how the plants adapt to the changing weather conditions and how they continue to develop. Despite the challenges, the plants are showing resilience, and the buds are looking promising. Update 18.07: Pest Problems Bad news, growmies. During my daily inspection today, I discovered some unwelcome pests. Some leaves on all the plants had white or silver dots, which I suspect are caused by thrips. The Banana Purple Punch plant was particularly affected, with numerous black dots on the top buds, likely aphids. I had to remove two small buds 😞. To combat this, I brought all the plants inside for a thorough shower and removed any affected leaves. I then sprayed them with a light neem oil solution, taking care to avoid the buds to prevent affecting their taste. The Banana Purple Punch plant has been isolated to prevent further infestation. I'm open to any advice or suggestions on how to handle this situation more effectively. What else do you think I should do? Update 21.07 The heat has been intense lately, with temperatures soaring to around 31°C (88°F). Despite this, my garden is showing remarkable resilience. After battling thrips and aphids, my plants are bouncing back. The Tangie, Blue Dream, and Gorilla Cookies no longer display any signs of thrip damage on their leaves. It seems the light neem oil solution has done the trick. However, my Banana Purple Punch remains a bit of a mystery. This strain appears particularly sensitive to nutrients, even though all my plants receive the same care and feeding. While the other plants look lush and vibrant, the Banana Purple Punch shows some troubling symptoms. Some leaves exhibit early signs of nitrogen toxicity, while others curl upwards with no apparent nutrient burn at the tips. Additionally, the large fan leaves are yellowing. Despite these issues, the buds are frosty and thriving. I recently checked the trichomes and found that most are still clear, even on my Blue Dream, which already has a promising main bud. It's clear that patience will be rewarded with this beauty 😍

Just been transplanted into s bigger pot for another 1-2 weeks until mu autos are ready snd into rheir final one

This was the girls last week of Veg. ❤️ I did a big defoliation, the lit in my 4x4 custom SCROG netting and started tucking and bending the tops down to fill the spaces. They were looking pretty scraggly for a day or two after the defoliation, but within a few days the screen was filling out. I have a daily routine of lights on, tuck and bend, no weaving and then just before lights out I’ll do the same. Temps were good, watering has been vigorous. They are very thirsty! Feeding about 1 1/2 gallons every feed now, the 4 gallon pots are a bit undersized but I wanted to see what could Come of These slightly taller pots, rather than the wider regular sized pots. Haven’t had to add humidity this week, pretty consistent around 60%. At the end of the week I changed the light cycle to a 12/12 for flowering ❤️👊🇨🇦

Sep 21: Bruce here is in third place for flowering pace but she should be close to done in time. Added some potassium sulphate to the water. Sep 26: buds are getting bigger but the cold weather is getting closer. Not many more days available.

Introducing bloom nutrients to her now, going to do a partial flush on the tank itself. I refill with RO water thats pH adjusted. I only use her nutrient solution for watering from the top a few times a day but not enough to cause significant runoff into the tank .

Unfortunately, the plants have numerous leaves which look unhealthy (discolored, droopy, crispy/decayed). I removed the 3-4 worst looking leaves from each plant every other day, although I know that can be harmful to autos. Started adding in "Sensi Cal" this week to hopefully rebound from potential mineral deficiencies. Still using Recharge microbes once a week. Nutrients are now being administered accurately and at 1/4 the recommended level. Despite the unhealthy state of the plants, the pre-flowering bud sites look pretty good to me. I'm happy to see healthy looking pistils. Needless to say, I'm very eager to get these girls back on track and looking vibrant and verdant ASAP.

Hey fellow gardeners, Unfortunately, I couldn't complete this diary earlier because was busy with family stuff and work. So finally here we go with the last chapter of this wonderful grow session. Thanks for Barneys for another masterpiece, we had a truly unforgettable journey with this breed. Its a bit difficult to remember after so long time but we try to collect the most important feelings and thoughts.🌞 So i decided to choose this time a hybrid strain to complement our most sativa collection. The seeds germinated in no time and we were able to put them in the first small pot after only 3 days, after another 3 days except one, they emerged from the soil so the fun could begin. The vegetative phase was actually easy and vigorous, but we made a mistake that made it a little longer than planned. Luckily the broken main stem healed really fast so this extra week wasn't so bad. In this phase we had an experience that we never had before, and yes this was the 13 finger leaf which means that the plants seem doing very well.🌱😎 When we entered the flowering period I was afraid they wouldn't stretch enough as other growers reported. Luckily these ladies got lanky and even didn't want to stop the stretching, which was cause for concern because the time for the last defoliation and lollypop session was almost there. At around day 23 of flowering we made the last trainings and we finally could sit back and watch the magic happen. It was really touching and lovely to see how the colors and aromas change from week to week as autumn approaches. Basically, we could distinguish two phenotypes. One with the purple silk on the leaves and a smaller but rock hard bud structure. The smell of this lady was more pine and sweet at the same time. The other 3 ladies were pretty much the same when it comes to smell and bud structure. Sweet and fruity aromas were characteristic here. Apart from the previous ones, both phenotypes were characterized by cinnamon scent throughout the whole flowering period. It can definitely be said that it is the most frosty variety i have ever grown. I am really satisfied with the outcome in every aspects. First the purple pheno went to darkness with our DWC lady and after two days the other 3. Dried them for 7 days at 21 degrees and 60% humidity and for another 5 days at 50% humidity.⚔️ Trimming these variety was a bit challenging threw the closed bud structure but it wort all the time. We ended up with 368 grams of juicy, rock hard dried buds and 48 grams of larf and popcorn. After placed it into glass jars with Boveda 62% humidity pack. Was a very pleasant strain to grow. I would like to thank everyone who has had a look, liked or commented on this diary. Hope its been helpful in some way. Cant wait for the next journey which will start hopefully at the end of august. 2/20: Both pots are light and are looking droopy. Time for first day of feeding nutrients. I used 1tbsp unsulphured molasses mixed into a half strength mix of General Organics GO Box nutrients, following the first week of flower instructions. 2/21: Both plants are looking great this morning. Amnesia seemed to have grown more overnight! I'll need to watch the timelapse to see what happened. My lights are at about 80% at 12 inches above the plants. I'm going to increase it to 12 inches above the tallest cola. 2/22: May turn both lights to 100% soon, as the timelapse of the night didn't show much growth or movement. Otherwise looking good. 2/24: Woke up to Amnesia's lower leaves turning yellow, brown, and crunchy. Google research thinks its a PK deficiency, the last two letters if the N-P-K nutrient list. Discord users also believed it was a PK deficiency on their own accord. I may be able to remedy this by upping my main Biothrive Bloom to full strength to increase those nutrient numbers, and feeding her now. She's growing fast, I could see why she'd be hungry again after 4 days. Her pot wasn't quite all the way light before bed though. After today's feeding I'll go down to 3/4 strength on the Bloom for the next feeding. EDIT: After lifting Amnesias pot, she definitely is ready for feeding/watering. Probably starved a bit overnight in the hot tent. Later at night, Trainwreck began to droop, so I mixed up a half strength of nutrients and fed her a gallon over a half hour.

27/04/2021 (Day 42) Todo viene muy bien, las plantas están comiendo con muchas ganas y consumen unos 15L de solución diario. La preflora está comenzando! Ya se puede observar como van estirando y mostrando bastantes pelos! Los Citizen x 8 están trabajando a un 80% rondado los 500W. 28/04/2021 (Day 43) Se realizo un nuevo cambio de solución, las plantas ya están tirando pelos y los leds están al 80%, se observo un gran crecimiento radicular y las paredes del tallo son increíblemente gruesas y duras. 03/05/2021 (Day 48) Las plantas vienen con un crecimiento optimo pero la flora se está tardando demasiado en hacerse presente, se estima que es debido al estrés que tuvo en semana 3 de vege produjo un retraso de algunos días. Esta semana se incorpora Safe Roots al sistema con la finalidad de que deje la solución lo mas limpia posible. También se realizaron bastantes defoliaciones ya que no existía penetracion de luz teniendo en cuenta el tamaño que están ocupando (85% del espacio de cultivo a 30/35 cm de altura)

Day 7 - Everything seems to be going ok they are all growing about the same pace! Day 8 - They are all growing pretty equal right now , extremely happy with how things are going!✌️🏼🌱 Day 11 - one plant has some twisted leaves hopefully it’s nothing serious😫 will be keeping a eye on her, other than that they all seem to be growing great! He transplantado los clones a macetas nuevas, los he puesto bien profundo porque me parecía que estaban muy largos, agregué vermiculita y estopa de coco, en el sustrato, así como Mykos de Xtreme cerca de las raíces, lo he probado antes y va genial para desarrollo radicular. La tierra nueva estaba muy seca por eso el volumen, pensaba hacer una poda apical pero no estoy seguro si me ha salido un FIM porque intenté partir solo la punta para no entorpecer el desarrollo vegetativo, pero estaban muy deshidratadas y he tenido que pellizcar con las uñas. Veremos qué ocurre. La planta madre tiene unas hojas que nacen con sectores de un color verde más tierno, pero con el tiempo se vuelven verdes como las otras, también han salido algunas hojas con forma distinta, intentaré luego subir unas fotos, los clones aún no muestran nada de esto, podría ser que la mutación esté solo en algunas ramas y los clones no tienen esas mutaciones? Me gustaría verlos en floración para ver si vale la pena mantener a la madre, es la que desarrolla los tallos menos fuertes pero también he comprobado que es la que mejor resiste el frío, la madre tuvo pulgones y los clones también pero parece que los he eliminado con spruzit, espero no aparezcan pero por si a caso intentaré hacer otra fumigación. Con la nueva maceta están muy cerca del foco, es un LED y no produce mucho calor pero me da miedo las quemaduras de hojas, veré qué puedo hacer con eso. What a fun run this was ! These Ogreberrys finished up from 81 days to 102 days with nice hints of gassy , sour purple , sweetness and glistening with frost! These ladies will cure up for a month an will be ready to test out ! So much fun , I highly recommend this strain if your looking for some oooy gooohy resiny grape smelling nugs !

we pass 6 weeks of flowers. buds are getting fulled and the smell is so so beautiful. she have stain on leavs, i think this si calcium def. Here on pics is day 34 of flowering. On feeding menu is again Iguana Juice Bloom, I spend all Mother earth. it is awesome nutrients. will buy it again.

I've increased the feed and light now. I will repot soon . I've pulled the browned leaves from the lower stem and the new growth is slowly turning green . They'll burst into stretch mode once I repot them next week . Hope everyone's grow is going well and the sun is shining on you 🌞

Odore e sapore sono tropicali, un classico per le genetiche violacee, ho anche estratto il polline ed il fumo a prima compattazione era color viola!! Consigliata a tutti!! Day 17F-24F (Day 19) Man it’s such a shame that bbb#1 stunted out. It was so damn vigorous until it’s most recent feeding. I will make sure to cut back on teas next round as they can be a wild card sometimes. All 5 plants are packing on some serious early frost. But I’m not seeing too much chunk to the buds yet. My other grow that was flipped on the same day has almost no frost yet so that’s a good sign. (Day 21) Big strip today. I will pull off as many leaves as I need to ensure nearly all bud sites are exposed to adequate light. I’m still seeing excess N so I’m going to water in 2 gallons each until I get some runoff. The plants seem to be up taking water pretty decently so I’m going to push it a little with a heavier watering. Wow do the plants look amazing after that strip and flush! Everything is praying up beautifully, including #3 in the back. Let’s hope that gets it back on track now. (Day 22) I want to give a PK boost but all my bloom nutrients have way too much N and I don’t really want to risk it toxing anymore. I could give it a little bit of 0-18-0 bat guano and some 0-0-15 kelp extract but it could be completely unnecessary. I can’t see any signs of deficiencies but a small surplus couldn’t hurt either. (Day 23) I like how the ladies responded to the thorough watering. I will up my watering to 1 gallon every 48 hours from now on. It sucks to see how short bbb#1 is. I was expecting such a huge stretch but it never came because of that fucking tea! I should have leached the medium as soon as I saw stunting. It’s too bad because it definitely had the most potential for yield. (Day 24) I’m starting to think the main problem with bud size this round is all the topping I did early on. Not to mention they were vegging for nearly 3 months. I will try to pick off most of the larf before it wastes anymore energy. I think the ideal style of growing for bud size and veg time is a semi sea of green, or 6-8 plants per 25 square feet. I’m not a big fan of these giant plants as it’s a lot of wasted veg time and smaller bud size overall. The smell is really ramping up!
