This was my 1st photoperiod grow on growdiaries and I'm glad I tried these Fast flowering photoperiods for it. Big thanks to Heather and the Fastbuds team. I have grown the Gorilla Cookies auto before so this photoperiod fast version has something to live up to. She grew way taller then i was expecting, hence the many bends and breaks. To be honest she was great to grow and the favourite plant of the grow. Because this grow was going so good I decided to switch back to photoperiods for the next few grows i just wish i had left her in veg for 1 more week. Total dry weight for the grow, decent buds=136g Light power Total= 200.43Kw 18hrs for 28 days = 504hrs 12hrs for 67 days = 804hrs Total hours for lights= 1308hrs 200.43÷1308=0.153Kw/hr average. Average 153w/hr Total g/W=0.89g/W Power used for grow=508.78Kw @0.30p =£152.63 Each gram cost £1.12 The buds have been curing for nearly 2 weeks so I haven't had a sample yet. There will be more pictures added once I try the buds and write up a smoke review but for now I'll just leave a video of the grow and a picture. 6/26 Rained last night. Might have showers bur the sky is clear. Real good weather coming. I need to transplant those seedlings. Plants are noticeably bigger every day. I see small spits of damage but it's isolated and in a high wind area. I'll address it and watch for nute deficiencies. Also need to transplant those seedlings. At leastcones an auto. 6/27 Rained overnight again. Looks clear today but we did get some rain yesterday. Tomorrow is all sun. I'm planning to transplant those 3 seedlings today. Also noticed some ragged holes so I've got a few pests. Looks like grasshoppers or something. With all the rain could be slugs or pillars I guess. Need to get ipm up amd running. I've got work to do. Found a plant on my gmo in the 30 bag. It got sun burnt and wind burnt but came out of it and they're all doing great. At first this one was a little behind after transplant but so were the other gmo's. Originally, it was one of my best plant prior to transplant outdoors. That one leaf I found during a thorough inspection of the garden. I'm hoping it's not tmv. Plants growing vigorously and better than but I'll keep an eye on it. I also transplanted the 3 seedlings. I added half new 707 in the 50 (prior soil was this same mix from last year) and transplanted one in that. One in a 10 gallon bag and the auto in a 5 gallon bucket. It will be interesting ingredients seeing how they turn out. All transplants went really smooth. 6/28 It's gonna be a hot one today. I haven't watered in over a week due to rain. Wind was whipping this morning! Looked like plants MIGHTVE been drooping but now that I think about it it was probably just the wind. ANYWAY I WATERED TWO AND A HALF GALLONS on the clones. That wind dries the bags out fast. Some still had some heft to them. Lately I've been going by my intuition which has seemed to be on point. All the seedling transplants look good and show no signs of stress. 6/29 The site was down so I couldn't update. Looks like it's gonna rain. It's noontime. This morning i found and killed two inch worms. There's not much damage so I'm wondering whether bt is necessary. Birds sit on the frame and dart I'm and grab them. I'll have to think on it. I also need to decide what I'm going to use for nutes this year. Don't need it yet. GMO's and sherb pie is putting out pistols everywhere. Same with the event horizon. Looks like I may have an early harvest this year. I certainly hope so. Still.....only did half what I did last year but with everything going on its all I can handle. 6/30 Site was down and it doesn't want to pet me upload my pictures 7/1 Trying to keep this updated. Need to spray bt. I'm seeing some damage. Not much but I need to get a handle on it now. Poured yesterday. Super sunny today. Plants seem to be flowering early this year while I still have a 2 seedlings that haven't shown their sex yet (they are fems but still). The clones are beginning to flower it looks like so I may have an early harvest this year. 7/2 WATERED THE GARDEN WITH 4 GALLONS. Spent some time looking over the plants and decided to hold off on the bt seeing as there isn't much damage. I spoke to a few shop owners and after seeing my garden this wad their advice as well. While watering I noticed red ants coming out of the soil of my GMO in the 30 gal. Some of these strains will be early finishers. The only time I've had stigmas like tjis was when I grew mendo breath and that was a super early harvest. Either way things are looking fantastic. The auto seedling finally showed a stigma. One seedling left (they should ALL be females) but I cant tell by the preflower yet. It looks female but I need to see that little white hair emerge to be sure.

I changed my lights on 12/12, cause i mean that plant hasn't rudelaris gen, or i disabled that gen with HST what i did in week 7. Continueing with guanokalong bloom, but i have a little bit and i dont want this for my next grow, so i buy some biobizz bloom and topmax, they deliver it ot me in a few days. Than i flush and start again with biobizz.

They seem to be going into early flower so time to up the bloom nutes, seem to love there new light

Day 49-56 (June 18th - 25th) (Day 51) Slurricanes and tuna are doing excellent despite their hail damaged leaves. I’m seeing good growth and decent dry downs. One of them looks like it’s been ravaged by pests but I still can’t find any evidence or signs of a pest. I’m suspecting caterpillars so I’m going to grab some BTK killer and also some all purpose insecticide sometime this week if I have time. The clones are all really lagging so they won’t be flipped until July 15th at least. I’m still not seeing normal growth on any of them yet. It’s still quite gnarled and twisted. (Day 52) The slurricane and tuna roots are starting to poke through the bottom of my pots. This is usually from underwatering, a thick soil or a hot root zone. I’m going to give everything except for the autos a good watering with some runoff. I am going to start incorporating 5mm sand into all of my soil mixes to help make the soil more loamy and give it some better drainage. I will also top dress every container and bed plant I have. (Day 53) I was at a local department store today and I was shocked to see pallets of Destiny dark matter soil selling for 60% off! I bought 10 bags for a hundred bucks. At any hydro store that would have costed me 250 at least. I might go grab more because it looks like no one is buying it for 60% off even. (Day 54) I’m going to be harvesting both of my indoor crops today and tomorrow or the next day I am going to be reusing the soil-coco blend for the slurricanes. I’m first going to till it, add a gallon of sea compost, a gallon of Destiny soil and a few cups of 5mm sand per container. I will use the excess for 5 gal pots. I will be amending with: 5 tablespoons of nature’s pride bloom 4 tablespoons of kelp meal 2 tablespoons of Gaia green AP 2 tablespoons of glacial rock dust 2 tablespoons of oyster shell flour 2 tablespoons of alfalfa meal 1 tablespoon of rock dust blend 1/4 teaspoon of langbeinite (Day 56) The autos are really making a comeback now. I was under the impression that I was working against the clock and they would start flowering after 3-5 weeks. I guess if they’re stunted from the cold they will delay flowering. I don’t see any pistils or signs of flowering yet so I don’t think they’ve officially started flowering yet I didn’t get a chance to do my transplant this week or pest control. I will get to it ASAP because my photos are drinking almost a liter a day

Veg stage week 5

Esta semana ya realice la poda. Se encuentra en estos momentos en etapa de secado dentro de una caja especial para secados de flores que uso siempre y nunca me falla. En humedo hay 195g y utilice una lampara led de 150w en todas sus etapas. Próximamente estaré publicando cuando este en curado.

No signs of flowering yet, maybe slight formation of calxys beginning. Been spraying with molasses, neem, cal mag and liquid kelp (bioweed) and superthrive just once to hopefully delay flowering to increase yield. P.S. if youre new at growing DO NOT try this unless you know what your doing with hormones etc. Theres a chance it can turn your girls hermie. Just be aware!

Hey Growmies. 😎This is a back post...sorry took me so long. Nov 8th (sunday) She looks nutrient deprived. Little did I know the VPN (low) was so far off after changing my pre-filter that the negative pressure wasn't allowing her to want to pull up nutrients. Has been a problem longer than I realized. I had no idea that my fan was too strong for my tent. Can kill a plant. Live and learn. So, now comes the story of nutrient toxicity because I DX wrong and gave some amendments and nutrients that she didn't need. So sad. . …. Soil PH is at 6.7 Watered about 3/4 gallon almost 1 gallon Growers recharge With soluble kelp Humic acid (20ml per gal dilution) NOV 9th RH is 52 and temp 72.5deg (RH is dropping due to increased airflow) She does not appear to be stressed this morning. Growth is still very slow but the new leaves appear to be healthy with no Brown tips. There's still New Growth appearing on the old nodes where fan leaves have been removed due to burning lower down on the stems. I'm hoping there's not much more lateral growth and more of a filling out so that I can flower.(room for the stretch) I hope the lower humidity is conducive to her growth and not going to cause Mite infestation due to stress and defenses down. On that note the tanglefoot needs to be reapplied. On about a 10-minute inspection I see no visible signs canoe leaves or might damage. The wettable sulfur seems to be stove in them off. I'm also doing my best to boost the immune system of the plant. I've been meaning to do a compost tea in order to infuse the soil with more microorganisms including both bacterial and fungi.  Still learning about “living soil” and probably making tons of mistakes but am bumbling through. NOV 10th Defoliation NOV 11th On this day she was still looking so deprived of nutrients. SHE WAS. Only not for reason of them not being in the soil. Environment was off and she was just protecting herself by not taking in the necessary food. I was of the midset to save her with soothing things which are good for “plant stress” and some nutrients. WRONG I was again. This is what I gave her that day. (A great combo but not what she needed) Soil PH 6 Growers recharge coconut water (30ml per half-gallon)  aloe juice (1/8 cup in half a gallon)  With soluble kelp  Humic acid (20ml per gal dilution)   NOV 12th IPM: Foliar spray right after lights out: micronized sulfur- 1/5 tbsp per 1/2 gallon ,Aloe Vera 2 tbsp, yucca extract NOV 13th removed some dead leaves Soil PH 6.5 pot was medium /heavy- leaving it so I can put compost tea on tomorrow evening.  Defoliated any dead growth and any tiny branches that didn't have a lot of nodes on them.  Changed the timer for the FAN to 15on and 15 off. I had upped the heat in the house to 72 deg instead of 71 and things are VERY DRY! Too dry for the temp. The VPD just way off here. Explains some of the dryness I am feeling on the leaf surfaces, slow growth etc. This climate issue has to be checked. Also, added back in a second humidifier! Brewing compost tea........

Just trimmed her all up.....took a lot of leaves out today to give those lower colas some light....filling out nicely

This week went great. The ladies are still looking happy and healthy. Bud sites everywhere. One plant is monster cropped and looks insane. As far as I can tell they are done stretching out now. Took off some leaves covering bud sites and some of the bottom limbs not getting much light. Happy Growing y’all 🔥💨💚✌️🏼

Just gone in to pre flower normy run atoflower on 18 as think go better had these on 20 hours light,but now back on 18 hours as normally larger plants when run on 18 hours

I think she is all set now But I could have waited one more week But I ran out of soil foxfarm ocean forest And some other stuff which makes me Recycle this pot and transplant red poison auto who is right now flowering very fast and good so it is the end for sweet Gelato our first sweet Gelato from sweet seeds Thanks a lot guys for helping me out. Day 51 - Deficiencies have gotten a bit out of hand the previous few days. Looking at the leaves I was thinking maybe calcium and magnesium deficiency, but it doesn't really make sense to me because I had: 1. Given a decent feeding with the Aptus cal-mag solution. 2. Calcium was already in the soil (pre-fertilized) 3. There is more often too much calcium in soil than too little. 4. There is a not insignificant amount of calcium in the water I use (causes limescale in a lot of things) So my guess is instead of calcium deficiency, I'm seeing next to some magnesium deficiency, a deficiency of phosphorus. So a couple of days ago I gave the plant FloraBloom which has both phosphorus and magnesium but no nitrogen or calcium. Today (two days later), the leaves are now feeling a lot less dry / crunchy, which was a supposed symptom of phosphorus deficiency. I expect to need to wait about two more weeks before harvesting. Maybe around 10 days. The trichomes are still fairly glassy although there's some cloudiness. Pistils are still mainly white though, so I'm expecting some fattening to happen. I don't really like feeding the plants at this point (short before harvest), but the deficiencies were severe enough to me that I'll keep giving FloraBloom this week. Next week I might stop depending on where the trichomes are at. Smell is excellent, I definitely now understand where the 'mandarin' name comes from. Very similar to a mandarin smell now. Other than the phosphorus / magnesium issue, the plants seems to be doing well.
