Mainlining was too stressful on these plants. Changed my mind to just lst and small topping. Size and color of each plant are varying making it difficult to choose what to feed. Just started adding gro nutrients. Some look like they need more and others are getting too much N. Not particularly impressed with this veg at day 43, but i knew it wouldn't be the easiest grow considering the strain. Still excited for flower and to smoke it at the end of this summer.

So far another one of Fastbuds finest growing perfect not having any problems or issues. Sorry haven't updated lately guys been super busy with work and hadn't got a chance but I'm back at it and will be so stay tuned. This girl I had to switch over to 12/12 (cause I'm growing her in a tent with photoperiods that needed to switch) gonna see how she does with the shorter days but so far she seems to be responding well to it(next run will be all autos with 20/4 so as to compare this strains performance with the different lighting schedules).

Dienstag war auch für diese Pflanze ein wichtiger Meilenstein – sie ist jetzt ebenfalls im Blüte-Modus und genießt den 12 Stunden Licht- und 12 Stunden Dunkelheit-Rhythmus. Kurz davor habe ich auch hier die Entlaubung vorgenommen, um sie optimal auf diese neue Phase vorzubereiten. Die Wasserzufuhr wurde wie bei der anderen Pflanze angepasst und entspricht nun den Empfehlungen für die zweite Blütewoche. Ich bin wirklich erleichtert, dass das Problem mit dem pH-Wert endlich der Vergangenheit angehört und das System stabil läuft. Diese Pflanze hatte es am Anfang wirklich schwer. Ich hatte sie leider überdüngt, was dazu führte, dass die Blattspitzen verbrannt waren und sie generell recht klein geblieben ist. Aber sie hat sich erstaunlich gut erholt und zeigt jetzt ihre ersten Blütenansätze, was mich sehr freut! Das aktuelle Sorgenkind ist allerdings die Luftfeuchtigkeit. Sie ist momentan leider viel zu hoch, und ich muss mir überlegen, wie ich das am besten in den Griff bekomme. Das ist jetzt meine nächste große Herausforderung.

2025-10-15 2025-10-15 The Shaman was cut today. It's always bittersweet for me when it's time for harvest. Like every time I've grown her, I had so much fun and joy—just looking at her brought me happiness. SHAMAN is a keeper in my outdoor genetics. She is easy to grow from start to harvest, always a pleasure. Despite the fact that this year she took longer to mature, I can't blame the genetics—all my outdoor plants were 3-4 weeks later this year. It was simply the conditions. Let's talk about conditions: The soil bed is prepared in autumn the year before and refreshed in springtime, so the plant always has at least 60 cm of deep, nice, and fluffy enriched soil base filled with microorganisms, microbacteria, and mycorrhizae. The roof is the most important part. This year I added 2 SCROGS—that was great! She stayed stable during heavy wind and rain and kept on shining after the storms. I'm very pleased with the outdoor season overall, despite a very cold and wet spring and summer with only short periods of hot and sunny weather. The girls in my garden didn't care and kept growing and blooming until the last day. Thank you @DutchPassion_Official for the seeds—I still have 2 left for next year. The plant is resistant to the mould and the bud's rot due the open structure. It has a big intermodal distance between the buds. The flowering time is 8-9 weeks in greenhouses. A plant with both standard cellular respiration (occurring throughout the plant, including leaves and stems) and adequate root respiration will have a significantly higher ATP throughput than one restricted to only general cellular respiration in a limited way. Cellular respiration is the fundamental metabolic process that occurs in all living plant cells (roots, stems, leaves, flowers, seeds) to convert glucose into usable energy (ATP). It requires oxygen and produces carbon dioxide and water as byproducts. Root respiration is not a separate type of respiration, but rather a specific instance of cellular respiration occurring in the roots. Roots absorb oxygen from the air spaces in the soil to fuel their energy needs. Roots require a substantial amount of ATP for essential functions like nutrient and water absorption, as well as growth and maintenance of their tissues. The primary form of respiration in healthy plant roots is aerobic respiration, which is highly efficient, yielding up to 30-38 ATP molecules per glucose molecule. Anaerobic Respiration (Inefficient): If roots are deprived of oxygen (e.g., in waterlogged soil), they switch to anaerobic respiration, which is far less efficient, producing only 2 ATP molecules per glucose molecule and also generating alcohol, which can be toxic and kill the plant. Therefore, a plant with healthy, oxygenated roots performing efficient aerobic respiration in addition to the rest of the plant's cellular respiration has a much greater overall ATP production and energy capacity. A soil without organic matter will generally have a low Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC). Biochar is often prized for its potential to increase soil cation exchange capacity (CEC), but this effect is highly dependent on the specific properties of the biochar (feedstock and pyrolysis temperature) and the soil type to which it is applied. High-ash biochars, especially those produced at lower temperatures and applied to acidic or sandy soils, can significantly boost CEC by providing abundant binding sites for cations like calcium (Ca²⁺), magnesium (Mg²⁺), and potassium (K⁺). Biochar is more sustainable than typical organic matter for long-term soil improvement primarily due to its high stability and resistance to microbial decomposition, allowing it to persist in the soil for hundreds to thousands of years. This longevity provides a lasting positive effect on soil properties, particularly by increasing the cation exchange capacity (CEC) over time, while regular organic matter breaks down much faster. Biochar generally offers a much higher CEC than coco coir, though specific values vary greatly; while coco coir might sit around 40-60 cmol/kg, biochar can range from tens to over 200 cmol/kg, with sources like Acacia wood biochar or even coconut shell biochar often surpassing coco's capacity due to its porous structure, creating significantly more cation-binding sites for nutrients, making it superior for nutrient retention. Needs to be charged similar to coco but at a much higger rate. But shhhh.. It's a secret. Ancient biochar-rich soils in the Amazon basin (known as Terra Preta) provide evidence of carbon stability lasting over 500 to 2,000+ years. Recommend a balanced ratio of key cations, particularly calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), and potassium (K). A widely accepted general "ideal soil" cation saturation ratio is approximately 65-85% Ca, 6-12% Mg, and 2-5% K. That's roughly what I give mine. Can even add N in its NH4+ form

Day 70 - 2cm taller this week. Flowering stretch all but finished. Flowers are forming fast. The pungent smell is not too strong at this moment.

Flowering day 37 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The buds have developed incredibly nicely this week. The smell is getting more and more extreme :-) . The whole plant itself looks perfect 👍. The growth has slowly stopped as the full energy goes into the production of the buds. This week it was watered 3 times with 1.2 l each (nutrients see table above) They were individually inspected and checked for their health. Osmosis water for the coming week was refilled in a 100 l tank 👍. Orion f1 wächst schnell.sehr schnell. Die ist 60% größer als die bananas gleichen Alters... läuft gut bisher. Die beiden größeren banana wachsen wie die aus dem 1.run, der spätzünder ist halbsogroß aber sie wächst.

Day 22 Update: LST rechecked and adjusted as necessary. All three got dechlorinated tap water, PPA1 and PPA2 each got nearly a L, and PPA3 got about 1/2-2/3rds. Day 24 Update: LST rechecked and adjusted as necessary. All three got dechlorinated tap water; PPA1 and PPA2 each got nearly a L, while PPA3 received about 2/3rds. Pictures show decent foliage filling in over the past two days, so I adjusted again. One, maybe two more good adjustments and then I'll mostly let em grow. PPA3 seems to be recovering from the topping well, but I wouldn't know the difference yet anyways. Its fun to watch them grow regardless! Day 25 Update: Just took a picture of each today. Day 26 Update: Took a picture of each in the tent. They will likely all be getting water tonight. I think just regular water again tonight. The tip with 2 sets of stems broke off PPA2 so they’ve all been topped if inadvertently. I always had my doubts because of the soil PPA2 is in, but this will drastically affect the outcome. Day 27 Update: I watered them with about a .75 L each tonight. Decholorinated tap. Maybe add some Tiger Bloom next time? Pretty sure the soil was still pretty hot at least with nitrogen from whatever I had growing before, so maybe just water again honestly. Updated pictures of each today. PPA2 is going to be severely limited. I looked through the pictures, you can see the break on PPA2 on day 24. I probably could have saved if I'd noticed, so I've learned to keep a better eye on the training and not force the main stalk so much. I don't know if I'll adjust the training anymore. Day 28 Update: Just a new picture of each. There’s also a video showing off my whole tent. Light dose of Tiger Bloom tomorrow night is the plan.

Dec 12 @1am: Her light schedule was been bumped down to 14 hrs. I have a photoperiod in the tent that needs a few days for harvest. Haze is now under the 1000W Phlizon/245W power draw lighting. Dec 12 @2:30am: New pot has been amended with approximately 65% fresh coco coir, about 20% worm castings,15% perlite and 17 tablespoons/51 teaspoons (12.75 teaspoons per gallon) in a 4 gallon pot. The pot will be thoroughly rinsed to rid salts from the old coco coir used in the pot. Dec 12 @6pm: Approximately 1" tall Dec 12: I think my dog got ahold of one of her cotyledons, unless it just disappeared. :) Dec 14 @2am: Transplanted to the newly amended pot. I watered her and the fresh coco coir mix she was transplanted into. Dec 14 @11:30pm: Her lighting went from 14 hrs to 24 with both veg and bloom lights on. (Photoperiod in tent harvested)

July 16: Great week of sun and warmer temperatures. No rain. Mosquitoes were f*cking fierce so had to take some quick photos and get the hell out - sorry if they are lower quality but getting eaten alive was not my idea of a good time. Overall pleased with growth and buds stacking nicely.

Today is day 45 from germination and day 15 of flower. I am not sure if it's a 8 week strain or it may go a bit longer however the bud development I am thinking seems slow if indde she is an 8 week strain. I guess this is where I look at tric's and hairs to see when she is ready. So I will continue to feed in hopes of bigger denser nuggs.
