Another week, new Problems. On Wednesday i noticed that on the Special Queen one spot looked very weird. Instead of forming one bud on a spot, there were coming two buds out of one spot. After asking in questions section and google the problem, i found out that this is most likely "Fasciation", a mutation most likely caused by stress or bad genetics. Some people said it's fine and that it will get even higher THC levels, but most said it will have less THC, taste weird and that there will be most likely a high mold chance. So after some consideration i took the scissors and just did cut it off. Im really not in the mood to experiment with some mutant stuff right now and i just hope the energy will now go into the other branches instead. Also i did my last defoliation on Thursday. Maybe i have done too much of it, but that is how it is now. I have a good feeling that i will get good results and right now that is all which matters for me. You can ask 10 people and all have different opinions about it, so i just do it now as i think it's right. At least now i can see everything all right, so if i get hermies, i can remove the pollen sacs right away. Before that i couldn't see anything because of all the leaves. It was such a pain in the ass and took over 5 hours to remove everything. I can't open my tent on the left side and can't remove the plants because of the scrog, so i really struggled especially to do it on RG #1, my back is killing me now. Decided to do super cropping on two Branches of RG #1, so i can lower the lamp a little bit. Im out of stuff which i could put under the Plants to increase height, so the canopy won't get better / more even then this now sadly. I hope i did it kinda right. Im still kinda sad that they didn't stretch more, but it is what it is. As you can see on my picture there is a lot of wasted space on top of my tent, like 30cm. Next Veg will be longer for sure. After last week they now got BioTabs Bio PK 5-8 again for the second time. I think the plants look alright and as long as nothing will herm now, i think im fine for the upcoming last 5-6-7 weeks. FLOWERING First flowering phenomena are visible in the tops of the plants.😜 -------------------------------- GROWTH The plants are still growing rapidly. To keep the size of the plants somewhat at the same height, I use the following techniques: 😷 1. Removal of the side branches (Defoliation) -Small plants: I remove almost all side branches. In this way the small plants do not have to spend energy in the growth of side branches. -Large Plants: I don't remove anything. The plants will put energy into the growth of side branches, so the plants will not grow too fast in height. -Other plants: I remove the side branches in proportion to the size of the plants. In the course of the following days, I gradually remove all low side branches! 2. Tying the branches (Low Stress Training) -The smallest plants grow straight upwards. -The largest plants are tempered in their growth, afterI have tied them to the plant sticks with the help of plastic plant binders. On DAY 5 the plants vary in length between 23 and 41 cm AIR HUMIDITY 😨 When the lights are on, it gets nice and warm in the growing room. To keep the humidity at the desired level, I have two 7.5 liter humidifiers working almost continuously. In less than 24 hours I have to refill them. As long as the plants do not have real buds, I like high humidity so the plants to keep a low VPD. -------------------------------- WATER and NUTRITION 😱 Due to the high humidity, I don't have to give that much water. Every 3 days I give 1.25 liters of water per pot. I add 3 tablets of Easy Grow Booster to 10 liters of water. I divide this mixture between the 8 pots. This week I gave 2 x water.

Another great week of bud growth and terpenes production. Think I'll be finished half was through week 9, or at the end of week 9. So far no signs of any hermaphrodite traits. Wish I started flower with a little less light intensity, as I feel that's caused the buds near the top to slightly fox tail, as the ones lower down look abit of a better shape, although smaller.

Before and after the defoil!! Slow flush with water only, cleaning them veg nutrients away! Net down to manage the stretch in next 3 weeks 🤞 first time using this tech, I usually just topt like a radical!!

While this plant didn't produce much bud what it did produced was pounds of experience. This was the first autoflower I've ever grown and is my most successful grow to date. I made mistakes but I learned so much. Can't wait to try this one again.

She has started her bloom. She is growing so well. This week I took off all her tie downs. Then 2 days later decided to tie her back down. She has had steady tension on her branches. So when I released her, she tightened back up. With the ties on, there is little reason for defoliation, as of now. She gained height, but nothing crazy. All her main top branches have always been pulled down to be side branches. Everything else was let to grow that came up the center. Really the side branches are the top of the canopy. Surprised I have not broke a branch. 8/26 2 gallons Fed 8 tablespoons Foxfarm Big Bloom, 15 MLS Tiger bloom and Foxfarm Open sesame 1/2 teaspoon. 8/30 Gallon and a half of tea. Cow and worm poop. Every year I'm going to grow a photo in a different shape. This year I just wanted to see how many tops I could make. Looking forward to next year's design. However not as much as I want to see what this voluptuous beauty produces. Voluptuous seems to be very fitting for her. Love this plant, she has been very fun to grow. She also thought me a lot.

NOTE: Measuring light distance from top of net rather than top of plants for consistency. - Plant were developing nice broad leaves, but were refusing to grow any taller to push through the netting. So, I raised the light 3 inches and switched on both blue and red lights to allow them to stretch through, which did the trick! - Placed a lot of stress on the plants this week trimming and training them to grow throughout the ScrOG netting and removing lower branches that were not receiving as much light to allow the top leaves to get more nutrients. - NEGATIVE: switched off the grow lights to get natural color photos and forgot to turn them back on until several hours later! :-O My babies are too young to flower at this point. Hope they stay in vegetative state without any serious impact. Fingers crossed! - Been experimenting with clones from clippings. Last week didn't do to hot, but this time I got two nice long pieces and trimmed off the majority of leaves to give the roots a chance to develop without fighting over nutrients from the leaves. The trick this time was 1) sufficient size of clipping, 2) minimal leaves, 3) dipping the base in mycorrhizal fungi concentrate, and 3) placement near the humidifier to ensure leaves get sufficient moisture. Absolutely LOVE this strain. She has only been curing for a little over a week but I had to try her. She is one of the 3 most potent strains I have ever consumed, tastes like grapes on the inhale, and then on the exhale it tastes like a classic chemdawg, piney and gassey. You will feel the effects by the time you finish exhaling. I lover her so much I am going to run her back after I take a little break to travel. The only thing I regret with this grow is that I used much too small of a final container. No fault of the genetics, it was all me. I will run her back in a 12.5 gallon container and see what happens. My goal is to run 2 photoperieods every year, and get a Kilogram off each plant. Might be somewhat ambitious but I enjoy challenging myself and improving. I cannot wait to squeeze this lady, but I want to give her a few more weeks in the jars first. I will post some videos down the line. If anyone wants a quick pound or two of some potent ass indica leaning flower, this is your girl. I honestly don't know how I could even bring myself to grow another autoflower after smoking this lady.....She blows every auto I ever grew out of the water.

Yo, I aim to impress with this grow! I’ll be giving it my all. The nutes I’ll be using will be organic Gaia green 4-4-4, they’re guano 0-9-0, and can’t forget the bloom 2-8-4.
