Por lejos este ha sido mi mejor cultivo hasta ahora, han sido los cogollos más grandes, densos y llenos de tricomas que he cultivado, comparado con el cultivo anterior en el que usé el mismo tipo de planta, está vez fue muy superior. Los motivos de la mejora pueden ser varios, incluidos más luz, ya que en el cultivo anterior solo tuve 480w, ahora fueron 720w, también usé tutores y palitos de madera para crear una estructura firme en algunas plantas, y fueron estás mismas las que tuvieron los cogollos más grandes, así que lo usaré en todas las plantas del siguiente cultivo. Además el tiempo de cultivo se redujo de 4 meses a 3 meses y medio, aprox. Ahora solo queda esperar unas 2 semanas para el secado y ver cuánto fue la cosecha total en gramos secos, la anterior fue de 635 gramos secos, está yo creo que por lo menos rondará los 700 gramos secos, incluso puede que me sorprenda y sea mucho más.

1 DE AGOSTO - DIA 8 ✅💨 - Hoy puse en funcionamiento el ventilador para remover el calor concentrado de la lámpara por sobre las plantas y distribuir aire fresco en todo el indoor. Beneficiando también a el tronco y las ramas, generando una resistencia al viento. El crecimiento se ve uniforme en todas las plantas. 2 DE AGOSTO - DIA 9 🌱💪🏼 - Hoy es un gran día!! Apliqué la técnica de LST a todas mis nenas. Mi deseo es obtener buenos resultados al final de la cosecha, pero ya me siento muy feliz porque al final del cultivo lograré ganar experiencia!! 3 DE AGOSTO - DIA 10 💦👨‍🌾🏻 - Hoy es día de riego. 1 litro de agua para cada una de las niñas (600 cc desclorada y 400 cc destilada) - PH 5.9 📊 - LSD-25 #2 y SIX SHOOTER #1 parecen ser las más vigorosas del cultivo. - Relleno las macetas con tierra debido al crecimiento del tallo de las plantas. Todo marcha muy bien!!! - LSD-25 #3 aparentemente esta pasando por un leve estrés, ha dejado de crecer a la par de las demás. ¿Que puedo hacer al respecto? ¿Perjudicará el ciclo de vida de la planta? 4 DE AGOSTO - DIA 11 💡📏 - Subo la lámpara a 40 cm de distancia. - Por lo visto las niñas respondieron bien a la técnica de LST. 5 DE AGOSTO - DIA 12 - Reviso la humedad del sustrato y aparentemente se encuentra en buenas condiciones, por lo tanto mañana voy regar las niñas. - Como todos los días controlo los ganchos y la soga colocadas, parece que las plantas se adaptaron al entrenamiento sin ningun problema. LSD-25 #2 y SIX SHOOTER #1 tienen un crecimiento mas rápido por sobre las demás. - LSD-25 #3 que habia pasado por leve estrés (dentro de mi punto de vista) parece comenzar a desarrollarse de manera normal. 6 DE AGOSTO - DIA 13 💦👨‍🌾🏻 - Hoy es día de riego. Finalizamos la cuarta semana de floración , y las 2 power plant xL son las plantas más grandes del proyecto. Con una defoliación esta semana, ya que tenemos que dar acceso a los lúmenes en todo el área y que formen buenas colas de flores. 50% humedad ,27,5 grados de maxima, 6.5 Ph , y aporte alimenticio de la gama de advanced nutrients. Esta genética se comporta muy bien para ser Sativa y cultivada en indoor.

Update – Day 31 • The flip is complete: all plants have now officially transitioned into flowering. • Differences in genetics are clearly visible – some plants are taller and more stretched, while others remain more compact. • Despite these variations, all ladies are in excellent health, showing strong growth and vibrant green leaves. ⸻ Pest Situation • The thrips problem continues to improve since the nematodes were applied. • While there are still a few thrips present, the overall pressure is noticeably reduced. • If necessary, a second round of nematodes will be considered to fully bring the situation under control. ⸻ Notes & Outlook • The start of the flowering phase looks very promising, with all plants well-prepared for the next stretch. • Structural differences between the phenotypes may result in an interesting variety in bud formation later on. • Everything is running smoothly overall – healthy growth, steady development, and pests slowly being pushed back. • Once again, a big thank you to Biotabs for keeping this grow simple and effective with their Only-Water nutrient system. ⸻ 🌱 Day 31 – the flowering stage has begun: healthy plants, genetics showing their traits, and thrips slowly but surely coming under control.

Superbe grow

I am increasingly convinced that I will have to cut GG3 first (probably at the end of this week, given the darkening of all those trichomes) and in at least a week (if not more) GG2 come on girls!

I'm really proud of this for a second grow! For the amount of space and the light that I'm using, i feel like my buds should stack better but at least I have real goals to meet for the next grow. I'm not looking to get lbs, but I do want great quality flowers that are visually stunning. I would DEFINITELY recommend Native Sun Genetics to anyone, beginner to advanced! This isn't a hi-yielder to start with anyway, but it's still one to look for!

This is the beginning of week 3 in bud. I’ve decided to not put the ATF plant in my bud room this round. I’m hoping she will just keep growing slow and my clones will eventually catch up with her so they can all go in together next round. The buds have definitely starting to swell up this past week. They all seem to have bounced back from their week 2 lollipopping. I’m very excited for this Melato in the back. She’s obviously outgrown the other 2 strains I have in the room currently. She’s also started throwing off the most smells as well. With some really strong indica OG gas smells. But other than that, everything normal this week. Just plain PHed water every other day. This lady has been Transplanted on day 39 since she was planted (may 10th) and I've prepared the 15L pot with the complete line of biotabs using 2 spoons of startrex for every 5L, sprinkled a couple of grams of mycotrex on the transplant hole before putting the plant and then I added 3 slow release tabs one biotab for every 5L of soil, so that's why in this case I added 3, after the Transplant was done I immediately watered the plant with 1ml/L of orgatrex and 1g/L of bactrex, I hope you guys enjoy my work this season!!

How is it growing, my fun(k) loving friends? ***INFO*** For more on my setup, why it was monster cropped, and how I made the canopy, see Germination page and subsequent weeks. They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. A couple more weeks and we will have the final cured and dried weight. More photos and movies will follow, this is where we are so far!! So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! Should I have to buy Gelato of this quality at the dispensary that I frequent, it would cost me at least € 15,-- per gram. 246 x 15 = 3690 euros. also, 49 car rides of 25 miles there and back, 250 euros in gas saved. We’re now fully in production mode!🔥 The stretch is definitely done, and she’s putting all her energy into bud development. The trichomes are multiplying nicely, and the smell is becoming more and more intense, fresh lemon with a subtle sweet twist.🍋🍬 The bud structure is quite different from what I’m used to, more airy and elongated, kind of sativa-like. Curious to see how this one finishes up. Still healthy, still cruising, let’s see what next week brings!
