Lots of wind and electric storms this week but they're still growing up, I did a defoliation and still watering with fish, roots and bio bloom from biobizz. 1/24 Seeing balls I think :( - Welp - Confirmed they are balls, #2 has them also, not sure if LST caused to much stress or what. To much pride to just kill them all. I will continue this grow concealed in the 3x3. Honestly thought I was doing everything right. Going to leave them together, I got a auto water system to help keep tent closed more often. Doing this for the experience, will deep clean tent and all equipment after. I guess my goal now is to just finish her up, I'm 4 weeks through, going to try to use this bud for edibles, etc. This is for the people who had a hermie, wanted to continue growing it, but couldn't due to there conditions. Here ya go, this will be a fun run. If this isn't a good idea let me know LOL. 1/25 - (early morning) after a little researching and thinking, I think I'll just kill the hermies out. #2 had the same sacks. Going to keep a close eye on #3,#4, but so far they haven't sexed yet, ended up chopping #1, #2 for the better. Done buying cheap seeds, I have went through recommendations to find the best genetics and a more reputable breeder, very soon will start diary on that which I am very pumped for. With 2 of these out now, Planning on putting another strain in with them. I got a little unmotivated experiencing this, but figured rather fix it now then set my self back another 4 weeks. Hopefully we still have luck with #3, #4 will hope for the best! 1/30 - Since chopping #1, and #2 due to them becoming hermie, I definitely lost some motivation on this run. I still have been watering and adjusting canopy with trellis. They have definitely blown up since 1/25, and are giving me much more motivation moving forward. I gave them recharge today. I have started slight LST again but just bending the top cola so it won't grow higher then other colas. I have started another run with Brother Mendel Genetics, and will be starting another grow diary series on them. Look out for it. Seedsman White Widow. I accidentally killed my first seedling as a sprout by getting it wet right as it was sprouting. Live and learn. Here we go again and she's off to a much better start this time. 👍 My Perpetual Harvest strategy…. Originally my plan was to start 2 seeds each month, but had some seeds from one breeder that did not germinate early in my rotation. Ultimately, this caused single seeds to pop and messed up my 2 at a time plans. But, that seemed to work out OK, because now I think starting one seed every 3 weeks is a better strategy. This should provide me with 4-5 plants at a time, instead of 6. However… Since I need to shut down over the summer because my tent is currently in the attic, I’m starting 2-3 seeds at at time for the last couple of rounds. Plants get fed once weekly on weekends. Seedlings get water only. Plants in vegetation get water and Recharge. Flowering plants get water, Recharge or Big Bloom (Fox Farm). Feeding is done using 2 gallon watering can. Any additional waterings during the week are given on an as needed basis per plant. I lift the plants to help determine which plants are more dry (lighter) and provide water any plants via water bottles and watering spikes. I give each pot a quarter turn every day in an effort to make sure the plants get equal lighting from all sides. I rotate the plant in place by turning the pot 90 degrees (I am not rearranging the layout of the plants in the tent on a daily basis). The soil is an ‘organic super soil’ I mixed myself using organic top soil, organic potting soil, organic compost, organic peat moss, organic perlite, organic vermiculite, lime, epsom salt, expanded clay pellets and Jobe’s organic fast start. I am also recycling my soil and water with Recharge when using recycled soil. For plant training I have tried a variety of things, but my plans now are to do LST bending only, no HST anymore. I may decide to go back to HST again in the future, but I’m curious to compare LST training only to see how that goes. Around week 3 I'll do a FIM pinch once there are 4-5 nodes established. And some defoliation around the 3rd week of flowering. I have been doing HST bending and having good results, but think the HST may be causing the plants to take longer to harvest. I hope FIM/defoliation only will help increase harvests while getting me to harvest sooner. Everything is running beautifully. The plants are showing their first buds. Had to remove a lot of leafs because there was a humidity problem I couldnt get rid of. Any tips for improvement are allways welcome! :)

[ Information ] For all information on this grow, including strain and room details, please see the first week of veg. [ Updates ] Day 10 - Watered today, 1.2ec feeding of mainly organics (Fulvic/Humic, Kelp, Molasses, Big Bloom) with runoff. 6.8ph. Group one is stretching much harder due to plant density, I will be adding a net soon. Day 13 - Watered today with the nutrients listed for this week. 2.2ec at 6.5ph. 80gals total. Added a small dose of Open Sesame for the first time today as bud sites are starting to form on all plants. Added a net to Group 1 yesterday, I will add the nets for Group 2 in a couple days. Group 1 plants are 38-40 inches, group 2 plants are 32-34 inches. I may adjust net height, this isn't normally how I run a cycle; I'm trying a few different things side-by-side. The "one plant per square foot of canopy" group has consistently shown that even with a short veg period there is far too many wasted growth nodes on the sides of the canopy. The plants around the edge tend to branch out instead of up, as they're naturally trying to find sunlight. My last attempt at using these side branches with heavy topping of the middle nodes resulted in a higher yield, as expected as the light footprint was 5x5 instead of 4x4, which defeats the purpose of "one plant per square foot of canopy" anyways. A better test would have been to stunt the growth of all middle nodes enough to weave the side branches into the main canopy, though this seems to be a waste of time without much gain. I'm much happier with Group 2 which has 1 plant per 2 square feet of canopy space. While it also has side branching, the difference in height at the canopy level of the sides and middles are not nearly as different as Group 1, which means a more even light distribution without the need of a net. As overgrown as the room is getting, they still have 7-8 days before they're defoliated a final time.

***** Week 7 Veg - January 16/21 to 22/21 ***** Week 7 will be their last week being able to take them out of the tent😟 SCROG netting going in on the weekend ahead. Not really a lot to report this week as the girls are doing well and I am just wanting their side branches to grow longer to help filling in the canopy anyway. Performed more LST this week and bending over the branches daily. Didn’t do any HST this week, will once the net is in and I have a better visual of how the branches need to bend. They have come a long ways over the last 2 weeks when you look back at pictures. They have filled out with more side branching and other than battling a little purple striping on the main stems they seem pretty happy. Leaf colour is good and should be in good shape for the flip soon. Will go through all of week 8 before flipping so hopefully week 9 will be transition week and week 10 the start of flower.......have to get through next week first though😀👍 Switching over to tap water again. I have been struggling with calcium and magnesium deficiencies on all grows for the last year. I can’t seem to get the right amount added back to the RO water I use in all feedings. So running with straight water again now. Ppm coming out is 325 so I will work with that. Going to explore my own RO system in the house rather than bottled water, a system that adds back calcium, magnesium, and iron. It’s been flowing okay for the first week and will continue on for now. Using RO water I have been feeding full strength on the nutrients and have been working on backing them down a bit to compensate for the starting point of 325 now. They have continued to be fed once a week roughly and supplemented with calmag and microbes. Little more detail....... Jan 16/21, Day 43 Veg - 3L each of full line at full strength in RO water - 1150ppm and 5.8pH given to the girls - didn’t add any other nutes other than IPP line. Jan 17/21, Day 44 Veg - dry out day - pulled down all the girls again tonight to train them outwards. - side branching doing very well on Candyland girls. Jan 18/21, Day 45 Veg - 3L for each girl today with tap water and CalMag @ 1ml, Microbes @ 2ml, Nature’s Candy @ 1.5ml - 700ppm and 5.7pH is what that works out to. - have to use a considerable amount of pH down to adjust the tap water, over 6ml in 16L Jan 19/21, Day 46 Veg - measured the girls today and Candyland1 is 14” tall and CL2 is 13” tall. They were topped already😀 - dry out day for the girls. Jan 20/21, Day 47 Veg - 2.5L each with plain tap water - 295ppm and 5.8pH. - all the girls are looking big and bushy today.......they are ready for flip soon. Jan 21/21, Day 48 Veg - dry out day for the girls. Jan 22/21, Day 49 Veg - pulled all the girls down again......repeating the same LST each day manually rather than tying down for now. - this should be water day but leaving for today as I am going to lolipop the lower branches and a heavier leaf stripping tomorrow. - will feed tomorrow as they will benefit more. Very solid week ETS......the girls are taking off and expect to see lots of leaves popping out over the next couple of weeks😀👍 Work on reducing the small stresses they seem to be experiencing more next week.......continue tap water and give a feed with Epsom Salts new week.

Beautiful pair of haze berries, both phenos #1 and #2 showing strong healthy roots and big leafs, can't wait to flower this ladies out, I Transplanted the plants after 17 days of being planted on February 2nd because the roots were super well developed and I considered that it was the right time to do so. So now they are in their new 11l house.

Mid bloom Week 9 schedule in full effect. I kept the additional Flora Gro here even though the chart says to cut it completely. I wanted to make sure that the deficiency didn't creep back in before the late bloom phase. The plant continues to fill out and the aroma is amazing. It smells just like Skittles candy when you touch the buds. All the additives have definitely improved the aroma and terpene profile of these plants. I wish it had a bit more 'gas' to it but it does smell super sweet. Threw in a video!
